Complementary Gifts 1
“Happy Anniversary, Jean!”
Jean grinned and savagely tore into the gaily wrapped package her husband handed her. The detritus soon littered the couch they were sitting on. Peering into the box she frowned. “It’s not a necklace... It’s a collar?” At first she looked incensed. Then a smile crept over her face as she held up the slim leather collar. It glimmered in the light, as if flecks of mica were embedded in the purple finish.
“Does this mean you’re actually going to go do it?” asked Jean warily. “You didn’t like the idea of bondage every time I raised it before. Oh, Leon...”
Jean handed him the collar, and pulled her long brown hair to one side so he could put it on.
Leon opened the collar, and moved toward her but hesitated. “It’s... more than just that, love. It’s magic, or so the shopkeeper claimed.”
Jean’s eyes widened, but all she said was “Cool.”
“You don’t even know what it’s supposed to do!” protested her husband.
Jean leaned into Leon, brushing the front of her neck against the gift. “I trust you. Completely.”
“It will make you submit, completely. But once the collar comes off, your mind will return to normal. Are you really sure?”
Jean’s smile was radiant. “You say that like it would be a bad thing. Put it on, love. Make me your obedient pet.”
Leon chuckled softly. “I really don’t get why you’re so keen, but as my lady wills.” He closed the buckle and the collar sparkled extra brightly for a moment. “Huh. Did it work?”
Jean tilted her head to one side. “I have no idea. I feel like me, I don’t feel submissive. If anything, it feels...” She put her hand up to touch the collar. “Mmm, it feels nice. Thank you, master.”
Leon blinked. “Master?”
“I’m playing along,” said Jean with a flirtatious grin. “Prove it works, if you can.”
“Fine. Uh... Get undressed.”
Jean laughed, and did so, standing up in front of the couch to give her husband a show. As she shimmied out of her skirt she gave her bum an extra waggle because she knew Leon’s eyes would be glued on it. To tease, she saved the panties for last. “Ta da!” The only things she was still wearing was her wedding band, and a sparkling cats-eye ring on the opposite hand.
“Very good, dear. Dance for me.”
Jean shimmied and shook, undulating her hips and and belly with moves that left Leon amazed. “How’d you learn to dance like that?”
Still dancing, Jean smiled. “Bellydancing classes on Wednesdays for the last six months. I was planning ahead for tonight.” She turned and gave him a good look at her backside while still keeping her hips shimmying.
“Mmm, lovely. That’s enough, come sit by my feet.”
Jean did so, leaning her head on Leon’s lap. “As my master wishes.”
Leon laughed. “Bark like a dog.”
Jean’s “woof” was quite credible.
“Huh. How far can you take it, I wonder? Be a dog.”
Leon stared in shock as his wife’s body melted and reshaped. Moments later, a glossy-furred golden retriever was lying at his feet, head still resting lovingly in his lap. “Holy crap! The collar can’t do that... What the hell?”
Leon fumbled for the collar, fingers digging into the dog’s thick fur. Trembling fingers finally loosed the buckle, and he pulled it free. The dog... stayed a dog.
“Jean? Are you in there?”
The dog barked and nodded her head.
“Are you OK?”
Jean nodded her shaggy head once more.
“But why aren’t you turning back, then?” asked Leon plaintively. “The guy said very clearly that everything it did would end when it came off. I wouldn’t have bought it otherwise.”
The dog’s head tilted to one side, its ears flopping comically. Then she woofed enthusiastically and put her right forepaw in Leon’s lap. A ring glittered there. Leon stared at it and then back into the dog’s face. “The ring?”
“Woof!”
“Shall... Shall I take it off?” At Jean’s enthusiastic nod, Leon tugged on the ring. It took a bit to work it off her paw, then suddenly it came free. The fur flowed back into her skin and a few moments later Jean was standing before him, naked and laughing.
“The ring is magic?” asked Leon in wonder.
“Surprise!” exclaimed Jean with showy wave. “It was the other half of my gift for you. I wanted to reshape myself to suit your fantasies. But it’s really hard to use, you need to visualize everything so intensely.” Jean sighed. “I couldn’t get it to do much more than grow my bum or boobs a couple of sizes, and the moment I got distracted it would change back.”
Jean grabbed the collar out of Leon’s lap. “But with this! With the two together I can become anything you want.”
She started putting the collar on, and frowned when Leon put a hand on it to stop her. “Come on. We know it’s safe. You just proved that. Take them off, I’m me again.”
“No, it’s not that. The collar doesn’t work if you put it on by yourself. It only makes you submit to the one who puts it on you.”
Jean smiled and knelt before her husband, collar loose around her neck. “Then buckle it already.”
“I kind of liked having an obedient pet,” said Leon, half warning, half tease. “I might keep you that way.”
Jean wriggled her way up onto his lap and kissed him soundly. “Good.”
“What’s gotten into you?”
Jean snuggled up against him. “I’m tired. We squabble all the time over stupid stuff, mostly because I just... I just like to be contrary. I don’t want to do that any more. And this collar...” She brushed her hand against it.
“Really? Put the collar on you, and the arguments stop?” Leon bit his lip. “No more fussing about who makes dinner, who cleans the dishes, keeping the house clean?”
“Or about money.”
Leon’s laugh was genuine, then. “You drive a hard bargain. Done.” The collar clicked closed.
Jean purred happily. “May I have the ring, too?”
Leon slid it on to Jean’s finger. “Let’s see, now. Bigger bottom, you said?”
Jean turned and waggled her ass in her husband’s face. “As you wish, master. Tell me how big to be.”
“Grow bigger for me.”
Jean’s buttocks started to expand, as did Leon’s grin.
“Oh, yeah... How big can you go?”
Jean waggled her butt, laughing at the new weight of it. “I don’t know. Up to you, I guess.”
“Well, let’s take this to the bedroom before you get too big to fit through the door.”
Jean scampered on ahead eagerly, blithe to the open drapes in the rooms she passed. Leon did at least close the curtains in the bedroom.
“Grow big buttocks for me. As big as you can!”
Jean tumbled back to the bed as her ass expanded. Leon watched avidly, then started to frown. “Why is the rest of you shrinking?”
Jean shrugged. “The ring can only make me so big.”
“Stop, then. That’s plenty of buttocks, and I want enough of you to hug.”
Jean grinned at him from her perch atop her burgeoning bottom, which covered much of the bed. “As you wish.”
The next half hour was a lot of fun for everyone concerned except the bed, which groaned in protest under the strain but did not fail.
Leon told Jean to return to normal after he’d had his fun, so she could wash up. As she returned to the bed he smiled sleepily at her. “Hey doll.”
The form that collapsed into bed with him was silicone instead of flesh, but he wasn’t awake enough to realize that.
* * *
Leon stirred, smiling at the dream he’d been having. Something about a shapeshifting wife under his control... then he saw the artificial form of his wife and realized it wasn’t a dream. “Sweetie? Can you hear me?”
No response.
“Can you change back to normal?” he asked. Still nothing. Worse, her hands were fingerless mitts, not real hands at all, and the ring was embedded in one of them.
Leon stared down at the sexy doll in his bed. “Well... I suppose it could be worse. Maybe she’s just asleep?” With a grin he started waking her the best way he knew how.
Once he’d rolled off of his wife Leon noticed that the doll’s body was grinning more than it had been before. “You scamp! You were awake. Change back.”
And just like that Jean was human again, giggling up at him. “That was fun.”
“Why didn’t you change earlier?”
“You didn’t tell me to. The collar doesn’t do anything if you ask a question.”
“Hm. Do you want to go hunting with me today?”
Jean considered that. “Not really, no. I never saw the appeal.”
“But you would if I ordered you to?”
Jean touched the collar. “I’d go. And I’d pretend to enjoy it if you forced me to.”
Leon ran a hand through his dark hair and sighed. “Not what I was going for. Pity. You’d have made a good hunting dog.”
Jean gasped. “You wouldn’t...” At the look she got from her husband she started to grin. “OK, that I might enjoy.”
“You’re a great hunting dog.”
Her body flowed and shifted just as it had the night before. When she was done, Jean butted her head up against Leon’s leg encouragingly. “Woof!”
“Alright, girl. Let’s go get us some quail for dinner!”
Leon had a good day hunting, and praised Jean just like he would a regular dog whenever she returned with his prey. By the time he had his limit of six, she’d gotten very good at finding them where they fell. On the way back to the truck he praised her further, calling her the best hunting dog he’d ever had. “I could do this every weekend.”
Jean barked happily as she pranced along side him.
Back at home, Leon had Jean become human once more, so they could get the quail plucked and dressed. Four went into the freezer, and two into the oven. Jean hummed happily to herself as she cooked the rest of the meal.
After they’d eaten their fill, Leon hugged his wife and thanked her for the meal.
“Tell me. Did you enjoy hunting with me?”
“I... yes. Today was fun. Even as your hunting dog. Kind of especially as your hunting dog. Why can’t I shut up?” Jean covered her mouth.
“I think it’s because I told you to tell me. You can stop. Though...”
Jean stared at him, eyes wide.
“If I tell you to speak and be honest, you have to, right?”
Jean nodded warily.
“Tell me why my hunting was such a problem for you.”
“I resented it. You got to go out and have fun and left me here all alone.”
“Then why wouldn’t you come with me?”
Jean hesitated. “If I don’t answer, you’ll make me, right?”
Leon nodded. “I’m finding this refreshing. I don’t understand you, not really. Despite being married for five years. Why do we fight?”
Jean schooled her expression, then started to explain. “You know that little voice in the back of your head? The one that comes up with all the smart-ass remarks?”
“Or puns, in my case,” said Leon with a smile. “I try not to listen to it too often.”
“Mine’s really loud. And it often sounds like my friends saying, ‘what does he know, he’s just a man’, things like that.”
“And now?”
Jean clutched the collar in her hand. “This makes the voice go away. I mean, it does other fun stuff too. Getting rid of the voice and letting you change my shape are great. And to be honest...”
“Which we have been, here. Go on.”
“I like the other, too. I don’t want to take it off. Not ever.”
Leon stared at her in surprise. “Tell me true, would you still say that if I took it off?”
Jean met his gaze unflinchingly. “Yes.”
“I wish I knew if that was the collar talking.”
Jean sighed, and came around the table to kneel beside Leon. She turned her head away from him, and pulled her hair aside once more so he could reach the buckle. “Just for a little bit, right?”
“Yes, love. I understand.” Leon loosened the buckle, then pulled the collar away.
“Do you still want the collar?”
Jean turned and stood, looking down at it in Leon’s hands. “Yes, but...”
“What?”
“Would you wear it, were our positions reversed?”
Leon’s hands twitched, just once but enough that Jean caught them in hers. “What is it?”
“You were a doll. A thing. What this plus the ring could do... it terrifies me.”
“Why?” Jean asked, curiosity getting the better of her.
“It’s the very thought of being unable to move. You know how once in a while I wake up screaming?”
Jean grumbled, “Yeah. Those are fun mornings. Not.”
“It’s not night terrors. Just sleep paralysis, waking up while your body thinks it’s still dreaming.”
“Oh! Is that what it’s called? I’ve had that happen a few times. Wish I could do it regularly.”
Leon stared at her in shock. “You... like being paralyzed? You liked being the doll?”
“Yes!” Jean shouted. “That’s the whole appeal of bondage. Being utterly defeated physically, completely under someone else’s control.”
“Control... I might be able to handle,” Leon mused, staring down at the collar. “But not immobility. If I do this for you, promise me that.”
“Promise what, exactly?” asked Jean. She lifted Leon’s hands in hers, gently pushed them and the collar toward his neck. He didn’t resist.
“Let me move,” he whispered, eyes tight shut.
The collar clicked closed. Such a simple noise to have such a dreadful finality to it, thought Leon. He turned then, and focused intently on Jean. “I don’t feel much different. More focussed.”
Jean nodded eagerly. “That’s how I felt. Like paying attention to you was the most important thing in the world. Stand up and strip for me.”
Leon stood up and dutifully started unbuttoning his shirt. Jean laughed, and told him to start making a show of it. With a grin, he did so.
Once Leon was done he stood at attention, naked. His foot tapped nervously on the floor.
“Stop that,” Jean said sharply, gesturing at Leon’s foot.
Leon stared at his wife, hands flexing. “Why?”
“All your twitches bug me. Stop that. Stop all of it.”
Leon stood perfectly still. His breathing started to get more ragged. “Please don’t do this,” he whimpered.
“Shush.” Jean put her finger to Leon’s lips, and they stilled.
He stood rigid with fear, tears welling up in his eyes. “Stop that too. You are calm. You don’t mind this. You like it.”
Some of the tension leached out of Leon’s body, but not all of it. Jean clucked and shook her head. “No, this will never do.” She slipped the ring onto his finger.
“You’re a doll, just like I was.”
Leon’s body shifted, smoothing away the sharp angles and muscles for a sleeker, emphatically feminine form. Jean put her hand to her mouth and giggled. “Oh my goodness. Aren’t you a looker! I wish you were human like this, instead of silicone.”
And Leon was. Still curvy, but now that she was flesh and bone, she was also drop-dead gorgeous. At least, she would have been if her face wasn’t wrinkled up and ready to cry.
“Shh, shh, it’s okay. I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have done that. You can move and talk.”
Leon’s first breath was a desperate gasp followed by a sob, and her hand fumbled for the clasp of the collar.
“Keep the collar on. Please?” Jean begged.
Leon’s hand fell away from the collar, and she started to tremble. “Wh... Why?” She swallowed a sob, hands tucked behind her back and twining nervously where Jean couldn’t see.
Jean closed her eyes tight. “I... Oh, God, I want this so bad. And I know you’ll never... Stay like this for now. Please?”
Leon sighed softly. “At least I can move.” She relaxed enough to start examining her body, tracing delicate fingertips over her luscious curves, then shuddering. “Oh!”
“Starting to see an upside?” Jean asked impishly. She put a hand over Leon’s, guided it to her new, sensitive nipples, helped her feminized husband tease and play until the nipple was hard as rock and Leon was breathing in short ragged pants.
“Fuuuuuuck,” moaned Leon. “What are you...”
“I’m going to fuck you.” Jean looked around at the kitchen, contemplated the table briefly, and shook her head. “But not here. To the bedroom!”
Leon stumbled after her wife, slowed by her unfamiliar body. By the time she’d made it to the bedroom, her wife was down to panties and bra. Those were tossed aside as Leon stared in wonder. “You...”
“Want to fuck a girl. Yes. I’ve been curious all my life, and this will be my only chance to do it right. Get over here.”
Leon obeyed promptly, and since she was within arm’s reach of her wife, saw no reason not to pull her into a hug. Jean tumbled the both of them to the bed, laughing. “You’re as eager as I am! Oh, this is going to be fun.”
Leon did everything right, everything Jean asked for and then some.
Much later, as they were lying tangled in the bedsheets, Leon asked, “Was it everything you imagined, Mistress?”
Jean’s eyes went wide, and her hand darted to the collar around her husband’s neck. “Oh Leon. You had no choice in this. Shit. Shit shit shit. I hope I haven’t...” She fumbled at the collar, pulled the buckle free, then reached for the ring on Leon’s hand to return his masculinity.
Leon closed her hand around the ring, and shook her head. “Wait.”
Jean waited, trembling with uncertainty, as a thousand emotions passed across Leon’s pretty face. Anger, fear, uncertainty, wonder, more. Finally, Leon schooled her face to a familiar impassive mask. “Why?” was all she asked.
“The sex? Or the doll?” Leon didn’t prod further, so Jean started to spill out her explanations and recriminations, from illicit desires to pure impishness and back again.
“You took my deepest, most intimate fear, and threw me into it.”
“I know. I know! I am so sorry and I’ll do anything to make it up to you. Anything at all.”
Leon held out the collar, and Jean squeaked at the look in her eyes. “Do you hate me?”
“No. Pretty pissed, though. I’ll probably turn you into something...”
“Something horrifying?”
Leon shook her head, a faint smile coming to her lips. “Something selfish.”
Jean studied her husband’s pretty face. “Cruel?”
The silence dragged on, until Jean looked away. “No,” answered Leon, finally. “But things you might not want to be.”
Jean licked her lips, then nodded once and bowed her head before Leon. “Yes.” When the collar clicked into place she let out a soft shuddery sigh. “Oh, yes.”
Leon smiled at that. “What would you like to do now?”
Jean snuggled up against her. “Anything you like. But...”
“Yes?”
“Are you going to stay like that?”
Leon grinned and lay back on the bed, hands slipping back to her breasts to tease at them. “This body feels very nice. Make wild, passionate love to it.”
“Yes Mistress!”
