Button 17 - Disagreement

Yana breezed through the doors of KK Studios the next day looking like a movie star.  She had a long silk scarf wrapped around her head and shoulders, and a huge diamond pendant peeking out from under it.

KK grinned at her.  “You look happy.  Say, didn’t Heather go home with you last night?  Where is she?”

Yana spun the scarf off her shoulders, and twirled it through the air in front of her.  It formed into a dazzling cocoon, which soon vanished to reveal Heather, looking a bit dizzy.  “Woo.  That was fun!”

KK stared at Heather, a smile growing on her face.  “That would make an awesome transporter effect.  Next time we do Smut Trek, we have to use that!”

Heather grinned and winked at Yana.  “Told you she’d love it.”

“Next time?” asked Yana.  She dug a sheaf of papers out of her purse.  “But we spent all night working on this...”

KK took the proffered papers and quickly skimmed through them.  “Wow.  This is good stuff, and I’d love to shoot it... but we’re on a tight schedule here.  One video per week doesn’t leave a lot of room for messing around.”

“Maybe next week?” asked Yana hopefully.

KK shook her head.  “Next week is Pizza Orgy 12.  Gotta keep feeding red meat to the fans, or we won’t have money for vanity projects like Smut Trek.”

“How is this a vanity project?” asked Yana hotly.  “There’s nothing but sex in this one, too.”

“Eh, you know how it is,” KK shrugged.  “SF stuff in general has a smaller audience.  Same applies here, even with all the magic you’ve added this video’s going to sell maybe half of what one of our usual ones does.”

“Oh,” said Yana, looking downcast.  “So... no more magic?”

“I didn’t say that!  We’ve got all kinds of costume work for you to do, and your work on the sets yesterday saved us a good chunk of a day’s work.  We’re probably half a day ahead of schedule at this point.”

Yana brightened.  “Do you need any more of that done today?”

KK nodded, and the three of them went off to the sound stage to change things up for the day’s shoots.  Mostly it involved turning the ‘furniture’ around so that they could take reverse angle shots of everything they’d done the previous day.

Heather then dragged Yana off to wardrobe, where they started planning outfits for next week’s shoot, starting with fairly conventional stuff and ending up with a half dozen utterly impractical ball-gowns with tear-away skirts.  Heather giggled as she demonstrated one.  “We so have to talk KK into using these for a shoot one day.  They start so pretty, and end up so damn hot.  This is great stuff.”

Yana grinned.  “Thanks.”

“C’mon, let’s go get some lunch.  Then we can do all the paperwork that’s been piling up...”

“Whee.”

Yana spent the rest of the day and much of the next two doing the job she’d been hired for, catching up on all the time she’d missed.   Heather helped out, as her wardrobe work was done for the week thanks to Yana, and they managed to make a game of some of the duller parts.  Yana’s favourite was turning papers that needed filing into rubber balls, and trying to land them in the right filing drawer from across the room.

In the evenings Heather would come home with Yana, and get turned into lingerie for Darryl to enjoy.  Thursday night, Heather begged off to sleep in her own bed for once.  Yana sighed, partly in relief, and had a nice quiet night with a bowl of popcorn and some silly movies.

Friday morning Yana bounced through the doors of KK Studios as eagerly as she had at the beginning of the week.  KK grinned at her.  “Wearing Heather again?”

“Not today, no.”

“But you are wearing Darryl, right?  It’d be a shame if he missed shooting the scenes he worked on.”

Yana had to think about that for a moment.  “Oh, yeah.  He’s still my bra.  I’ll make sure he can see when we start.  When do we start?”

“We’ve got two reshoots this morning, then the stage is all yours.  I’ll come get you when we’re done, so you can set up.”  KK hustled off toward the set.

Yana went to her desk, and poked at the paperwork there without really seeing it.  Nothing required much of her attention, and when Heather came in they spent more time chatting about the upcoming shoot than actually filing anything.

When the time came to take over the set, Yana practically ran.  She spun in place in the middle of it, changing things just for the sake of changing them.  The walls became more complex, acquiring a bio-organic look and subtle curvature that suggested a small pod-like ship.  Dozens of complex little displays emerged, showing unintelligible glyphs, pictures of various ship systems, and several profile and plan views of the vessel as Darryl had sketched it.

The furniture in the room reshaped and smoothed, acquiring glowing nodules and traceries fitting the rest of the theme.  The niches in the wall stayed, but shrunk to a size that would be form-fitting for a human.  Heather tested one, and it snuggled up against her, holding her gently in place as her body took on an obsidian gleam.  Soon she looked almost as if she was part of the wall herself.

Heather grinned as she glanced down and saw that the glowing lines across her torso matched up with traceries on the wall to either side.  “Am I going to be part of the set?”

Yana laughed.  “Oooh, yes.  I”ll move the niches a bit to compensate.”  Heather smoothed away into the wall, barely visible except as a suggestively almost-human ripple in the surface.  Her eyes glowed from an otherwise blank spot on the wall.

Tawny was next to the set, still clad in gold and silver from the previous shoots.  “KK said I needed a new look?”

Yana nodded, and gestured toward one of the niches.  “You’ll be back to a variation on this soon enough, but for now I want you to look inhuman, truly alien.”

Tawny backed into the niche next to the bit of Heather-wall without even seeing the other woman.  “I read the script.  This will be fun!”  Her body melded into the niche as Heather’s had, losing its golden sheen for obsidian, and most of its curves.  Her face was a featureless oval with a single glowing spot in the middle of its forehead.  Her arms split in two, becoming thin and insectile.  Her legs also acquired the same look, and hooked claws for toes.

“You OK in there?” asked Yana softly.

Tawny took a moment to figure out her voice.  A reedy, “Yes” and a bob of her head was her answer.

“OK.  Time for me to get out of the shot.  Is the away team ready?”

KK nodded and gestured to the cameramen.  They started rolling, and the door irised open.  The same team as before looked came through, and looked around the set in wonder.  “What is this place?”

“I’m getting some unusual readings, here.  We should investigate.”

As they moved into the room, Tawny’s form detached from the wall, causing several unscripted yelps of surprise.  “Scanning new lifeforms,” she intoned in her reedy voice.  “Reconfiguring...”

Her body slowly reversed its previous transformation, becoming once again a sexy humanoid form, this time in glossy black instead of shining gold.  Matching the room, she looked less robotic and more organic, though her joints still hinted at an exoskeleton and her carapace looked hard enough to deflect bullets.

“Captain Tightpants” approached the sexy vision before him with a grin.  “Well, that’s a much better welcome than we were expecting.  In the name of the Association of Aligned Worlds, welcome.”

“I am the guardian of the chamber,” said Tawny in a voice that still had a hint of that reedy alien-ness.  “You do not belong here.”

He took another step closer, his chest almost touching hers.  “I’m sure you can help me with that.”

“That is my purpose.”  Tawny pulled him into an embrace, and the actors fell into familiar porn-movie roles from there.  The next part of the scene played out much as it had on Monday, with Captain Tightpants beginning his transformation and the other crew members trying to stop him.  This time, after their initial difficulties they contacted the Excelsior for reinforcements.  A red-shirted ensign and the ship’s doctor showed up in cocoons of light, spun by Yana to convert them from threads back into humans.

As the sex and transformation continued, the crew bustled about busily, studying the changes instead of passively watching.  The outcome, however, was still the same.  Two glossy black figures retired to niches in the wall, still humanoid.

Several of the crew wanted to cut their losses at that point, but the doctor refused to admit defeat.  The ensign attempted to pull the captain free of the wall, and instead became mired in the wall himself.  His arm sunk in, soon followed by the rest of his body.  The wall rippled once, then smoothed away leaving no sign that the ensign had ever existed.

The two figures emerged from their niches once more.  “We are the guardians of the chamber.   You do not belong here.”

“Emergency transport,” barked the doctor.  “Direct to isolation in sickbay.”

Cocoons of light sprung up around all the figures on the set, glittering brightly then collapsing, empty.  Slowly a niche formed where the ensign had vanished, and an inhuman form emerged from the wall, watching over the room and waiting.

“And cut!” called KK.  “Great work everyone.  Uh... everyone?”

Yana giggled.  “Sorry.”  The cocoons formed once more, restoring all the actors.  Even Tawny returned fully human.  She looked disappointed to have her normal body back.

“And Jerry,” said KK.

A section of wall became another niche, with an insectile alien inside it.  It stepped forward.  “Can I stay like this a little longer?” it asked in its reedy voice.  “This body is weird, but I’d like to try it out for a bit.”

“Sure,” said Yana.  “You’ll change back in an hour or so.  Want to stay this big, or try being cockroach sized?”

“You could do that?”

“Probably.  It would be tricky to keep you fully mobile, though.”

“Ah, it’s fine.  Maybe next time.”  Jerry prowled around the set, leaping with his powerful hind legs, and learning to coordinate his four arms.

KK approached Yana.  “It’s not enough for a full video.  Did you have a script for back at the ship?  The story could continue in sickbay.”

Yana nodded.  “We’d given it some thought, but... well, there’s rather less sex in the next part.  We didn’t know if you’d be interested.”

“Is there more sex later?”

“Yeah, after the captain is partially cured he seduces his way through the crew, starting conversion of everyone.  Then the doctor heroically saves the day, and everyone goes back to normal.”

“Still having sex in a big orgy on the bridge?” asked KK a bit too eagerly.

Yana laughed.  “That would be one way to end it.  So... can we do it?”

KK sighed mournfully.  “Not next week, that’s for sure.  I’ve messed up the schedule enough as it is, we’ve got much more ordinary shoots for the next three weeks at least.”

Yana’s puppy-dog eyes didn’t work on KK, but she did note that if Yana could help with sets and costumes again, they would likely be able to free up Friday afternoon for more “fun stuff”.

Yana wasn’t the only one who heard that, and several others crowded around offering suggestions for things that they could do.  The suggestions ranged from a guy turning all his girlfriends into lovedolls, to tentacle porn, to a giantess scene.

“Could you even make someone a giant?” KK asked Yana.

Yana, still a bit stunned by the enthusiasm, hesitated.  “I... well, I’d need the mass.  Something cheap, plentiful, and probably organic would be best.  I’m not sure how mobile she would be in the end.”

“I can get straw-bales cheap from my father’s farm,” noted Steven.  “Would that work?”

“Probably.”

“Cool!  I’ll arrange for a truckload to be brought in next Friday so we can test.”

Yana looked over at KK hopefully.  “Are we really going to do this?”

“If you can keep us ahead of schedule, sure.”  KK turned to the rest of the actors.  “OK everyone, we’re done for the week.  See you all on Monday for the first scene of Pizza Orgy.  We’ll be starting as soon as the set is ready, which shouldn’t take long.”

Yana grinned all the way home, and was sitting down to a quiet dinner when there was a knock at the door.  She went up to it, puzzled, and opened it to see Heather.  “Oh!  I knew I forgot something.”

Heather just stared at her, the annoyance on her face turning to amusement.  “You forgot about me?  I was a wall... and nobody knew?”

Yana shook her head.  “Nope.  KK didn’t show up until I was working on Tawny, and the cameramen showed up even later.  You were in the whole thing, and not one soul was aware of it.”

Heather scooped her up in a big hug.  “Awesome!  I want to do that again.  Maybe I can be the pizza box next week.”

“You could be the dress.  I’d have to explain your absence, though.”

“You’ve got my job covered,” Heather enthused.  “I could vanish for a week easily enough.”

Yana grinned at her slyly.  “Not afraid I might forget you’re the dress?  You know what happens to week-long changes.  You won’t change back until I remember.”

Heather shuddered.  “Do it already.”  A shimmering pile of fabric puddled at Yana’s feet, and she quickly shed her clothes to put it on, leaving skirt, panties, bra and top crumpled in a pile at the base of the stairs.

Yana spent Saturday lounging around the house in her pretty nightie, and did a load of laundry.  When she was pulling it out of the drier, she stopped and stared at the bra in her hands.  “Oops.”  A moment later, Darryl appeared in her arms.

“You washed me!” he exclaimed.  “Like I was just a piece of laundry.  Did you actually forget?”

“I...”  Yana blushed and ducked her head.  “I’m sorry.  How can I make it up to you?”  She snuggled up against him, teasing at his naked body with the slick fabric of her nightie.

“Rrrrr... you know I can’t stay mad at you when you do that.  Can we do things the old-fashioned way for once?  No magic?”

Yana pouted, then spun about in the nightie.  “Does that mean I have to get rid of this?”

“I...”  Darryl sighed.  “Heather?”

“Yeah.”

“Heck, that’s practically traditional by now.”  He scooped Yana up in his arms, and started toward the stairs, though he had to set her down instead of carrying her the rest of the way.

Yana giggled.  “You could have carried me up there easily if I was your inflatable doll.”

“I’m going to pretend you didn’t just suggest that.  No magic!”

“We’ll see.”  Yana darted up the stairs ahead of her husband, and used a quick flick of magic to neaten the bedsheets.  They’d been turned into luxurious silk earlier in the week, so she didn’t actually transform them.

Darryl waited at the doorway until she was done.  Once she was artfully posed on the bed, he growled and pounced.  And until his energy flagged, Yana was true to her word.  The moment he started to slump, spent, Darryl was human no more.  In his place a tentacle-shaped dildo on a mechanical frame kept pumping away.

He was stuck like that for an hour.

Afterward, Darryl couldn’t really find it in himself to be angry about it.  He admitted to Yana it had been a lot of fun.

Yana was still very apologetic, and offered to be the bed for the night.  Darryl laughed.  “Think you can actually stay in the bed the whole night?”

Yana sighed.  “Probably not.  It’s so easy to free myself, it barely takes a thought.  Struggling against my ‘bonds’ is impossible.”

“Lucky.  I have to wait until you remember what you turned me into.”

Yana snuggled up tighter against him.  “It’s not fair.  I want that so badly, and I can give it to anyone...”

“Give?” asked Darryl with a chuckle.

Yana poked his shoulder.  “You know what I mean.  Heather sees it as a gift.  Though I don’t think she’s trying to fight free like I would be.”

Darryl sighed.  “You know what I’m going to suggest, don’t you?”

“Don’t,” said Yana dangerously.  “Turning my mind off is no fun for me, because I’d be just a thing.  No struggle.  And I’m not hacking my mind up.”

“But with a little practice...”

“No!”  Yana’s denial once again was accompanied by magic.  At least this time she’d held the anger back enough that the hard black dildo wasn’t covered in spikes, but it didn’t look especially comfortable even so.

Darryl spent the next hour as a mindless object, and Yana ignored him.  She was pretty sure he’d change back on his own before the weekend was out, and was a little surprised at how quickly he reverted, but didn’t tell him so.  She didn’t, in fact, tell him anything or speak to him in any way.

Darryl decided to wait it out.  He cooked a lovely dinner for the two of them Sunday evening, and kissed Yana softly once it was over.  She kissed back, then pulled him close.  “Don’t do that again.”

“Duly noted.”  Then Darryl’s eyes flashed with amusement.  “Doll.”

Yana’s eyes went wide as her body went still.  Darryl scooped up her air-filled form.  “I do hope you kept your mind...”  The doll winked at him, then went still again.  Darryl laughed, and carried her up to the bed.

* * *

When his alarm went off Monday morning, Darryl was tempted to pitch it against the wall and call in sick.  Instead he woke his still-inflated wife the best way, and teased her into becoming human once more.  He had to rush through the rest of his morning preparations, but he did so with a grin.

At the door he kissed Yana goodbye.  “Have fun at the studio with Heather.”

Yana nodded, then gasped.  “Heather!  I better change her back.”  Soon Darryl was waving to two sexy women on his doorstep.

Yana and Heather arrived at the studio in a rush and clatter, running late.  KK grinned to see them.  “Great, you’re here!  We need to get the set ready.  You’ve got costumes for me, right?”

Heather nodded.  “We did the fittings last week, so we’re good to go.  Ready to build a new set, Yana?”

Yana sighed, and followed the two women toward the sound stage.  “I’m a bit disappointed to be getting rid of the spaceship set, though.”

“Well?” asked KK, once they’d been standing on the set for a minute.  “I need a nicely furnished modern apartment, not... this.”  She indicated the wreckage of the spaceship set.  Large chunks of the wall had changed back into scenery flats, though some of the displays and the two most recently used niches still stood.  The furniture in the middle was a jumble old loveseats and alien-looking obsidian shapes.

“Sorry,” said Yana, strain showing on her face.  “I’m trying, but it’s not working!”

“What’s wrong?” asked KK, frowning.

“I don’t know!” wailed Yana.  “I’ve been doing this for two weeks and this has never happened before.”

“Yana,” asked Heather softy.  “Were you more than five feet away from Darryl at any point in those two weeks?”

Yana shook her head.  “I was always with him or wearing...  Oh.”

“Yeah.  You draw the threads from him, right?”

Yana nodded, head hanging dispiritedly.  “Yeah.  Without him...”

“You said I generated magic, too,” mused Heather.  “That’s why I got stuck as a dress.  Can you use mine?”

“I can try,” said Yana doubtfully.

They spent half an hour working on it, without success.  The set-piece they were sitting on suddenly reverted into a couch, and Yana yelped with surprise as she dropped.  She thumped the dusty cushions with a fist.  “This isn’t working.”

“Can you at least clear out the rest of the old set?” asked Heather softly.  “You merged the walls into the floor, so they can’t be removed to build the new one.”

Yana looked up, and with a slashing gesture all the remaining alien trappings reverted to normal.  “Hah.  Not entirely useless today.  Not quite.”

Heather gave her a long hug.  “You’re not useless, Yana.  You’re more than the magic.”

Yana snorted.  “I’m a glorified secretary without it.  It’s a pretty big demotion.”  She sighed, and headed for the exit.  “I guess I better get back to it.”

At the end of the day, Heather offered Yana a lift home.

“How bad was it?” asked Yana.

“Not as bad as you’re making it sound,” encouraged Heather.  “They used one of the smaller sound stages and did closeup shots while building the main set the old-fashioned way.  The guys are already grumbling about it, after only a week off, the slackers.”

As they pulled up in front of Yana and Darryl’s place, Heather asked, “Do you think you can persuade Darryl to come in for part of the day tomorrow?  If we can get the set whipped into shape and the outfits they messed up repaired, that’ll be all we need this week.”

Yana brightened at the mention of her husband.  “I’m sure we’ll manage something.  Want to stay and play tonight?  I’m itching to transform things.  People.  Myself.  Anything!”

Heather laughed.  “After your first day apart?  I’d hate to get in between you two.  You lovebirds have your fun, and drag me into it another night.”

Yana gave Heather a feral grin.  “I might not take no for an answer next time.  But tonight I can’t stop you.”

Heather laughed.  “I’m looking forward to that.  But for now, sleep in my own bed.  Yay!”

Yana paced inside the door until it opened on her husband’s welcome smile.  She pounced, and dragged him into the house.  “I missed you soooooo much!”

Darryl chuckled fondly.  “I missed you too.  What brought this on?”

“I can’t do magic without you nearby.  I went the *whole* day without doing anything except breaking down the leftover set.  I’m going into withdrawal here!”

“Well then.  I think you’d look nice in obsidian.”

Yana practically purred as she felt the magic course through her body, duplicating the changes she’d made to Tawny.  She pirouetted and posed for Darryl, her clothes spinning away as ribbons to flutter to the floor.

“Mmm.  Very nice.  A bit tall, though.”

Yana lost a foot of height, and grinned up at Darryl.  “Is this short enough?”

“Nope!  I’ll say when.”  Darryl watched with a huge grin on his face as Yana dwindled in front of him.  When she was about six inches tall and starting to look worried, he called a stop to the shrinking, then crouched down to put his face near hers.  “How are you?”

“This is so weird!” exclaimed Yana in a tiny voice.  “You’re a giant!  Pick me up!”

Darryl did so, and brought Yana right up close to his face.  “You’re so amazing.  Can I keep you like this?”

Yana nodded, and Darryl tucked her into his shirt pocket while he went to the kitchen and started making dinner.  They chatted about their respective days, though neither had all that much to say.  Yana kept going on about how much she missed Darryl, and didn’t even get mad when he teased that she just missed being able to do magic.

“Could you really not get anything off Heather?”  Darryl asked as he set two plates on the table.

“Nope.  If it’s not a thread, I can’t touch it, and she doesn’t know how to make ‘em right.”

Darryl chuckled softly, and set Yana by her plate.  “At least I’m good for something.”

Yana laughed, and danced from her plate over to his.  “You’re good for feeding me, too.”  She kneeled beside his plate and made puppy-eyes at him until he fed her a bite of his food.  They ate the whole meal that way, with Darryl feeding Yana tiny bites and her stealing peas from his plate when he “wasn’t looking.”

After, Darryl wrapped Yana’s plate and put it in the fridge.  “You might get hungry when you go back to normal size,” he noted.

Yana shrugged.  “I don’t feel hungry... for food.”

Darryl laughed.  “I should clean... up?”  He looked around the kitchen.  Every dish and pan was spotless, and the last pan was wafting on the breeze as a ribbon before settling into its place and returning to normal.  “Handy.”

Yana bowed.  “Now take me upstairs already.”

Yana had her fun with Darryl, getting him off multiple times with her tiny body.  When he was too exhausted to go on he suggested they swap roles, and thus went to sleep as a sex toy sized for a hand-sized Yana.

In the morning, Yana yelped at how loud the alarm clock sounded when you were only six inches tall.  A flick of magic silenced it, but she got up anyway.  Soon she was breakfasted, dressed, and ready for the day, with Darryl around her neck.

At the studio, she quickly got put to work rearranging the set to KK’s satisfaction, going over and above what she’d planned.  Instead of a modest studio apartment, it was a richly furnished one with marble floors and art-lined walls.  Once KK pronounced herself satisfied, Yana and Heather touched up the wardrobe for all the actors involved.

Once they were done, and the shoot had started, Yana left the stage and returned to her desk.  Heather found her there a few minutes later.  “So Darryl agreed to help out today?”

Yana looked startled.  “Oh!  Uh...”

Heather shook her head.  “You just changed him without asking?  Wasn’t he supposed to work today?”

Yana waved that off airily.  “He has lots of vacation time left.”

“And he called his boss to ask?  He’s been off for three weeks out of the last couple months already, won’t work be piling up?”

“I...”

“You know what you need to do,” said Heather.  She left it at that, and walked away.

Yana sighed mournfully, and took her necklace off.  She looked into the eyes of the pendant, and sighed again.  “Just listen, first.  I need you.  Without you, I can’t do magic.  With you...  Oh, I can do anything.  Please don’t be mad.”

Then Darryl was sitting on her desk.  Naked.  He covered up.  “Yana!”

“Sorry!  I’ll fix it.”

Darryl lost a foot of height and gained a shirt and pants.  He raised an eyebrow at Yana, who just grinned back at him.  “I figured this would be easier to deal with if you were shorter.”

Darryl hopped off the desk to stand beside Yana.  She got up out of her chair, and loomed over him.  “Oh yeah, I could get used to this.”

“That’s not the point!”

“Let me have my fun before the yelling starts.  Can you call your boss to get today and Friday off?”

Darryl sighed.  “It’s kind of late for that.  Plus a couple of the other guys are off this week, so they need me back at the office.”

“I need you here!” Yana said, her voice rising.  “I can’t do magic without you.”

“You’ve done what you need to for today.  If I go in now, I’ll have only missed half the day.”

“No!”  Yana shouted in panic.  “I can’t go back.  I won’t go back to being powerless.”

“You can’t just keep turning people into objects whenever you feel like!” shouted Darryl in return.

Yana’s voice went soft and dangerous.  “Yes.  Yes I can.”

Darryl slid to the floor as a tiny pile of golden chain, and Yana scooped him up and put him on.  No pendant this time, just an unadorned chain.

The office was silent except for Yana’s hyperventilating.  Her panic slowly faded and she slumped in her chair once more, closing her eyes.  “Aw crud.  Why do you keep doing this to me?”

“It sounded like you did it to him,” said Heather softly.

Yana looked up at the big woman.  “How much did you hear?”

“Honey, the whole studio heard.  Well, except the sound stage, that’s soundproof.  And since everyone’s in there but you and me...”

Yana snorted.  “Fine.  So you know.  Do I have to turn you into a dress to make you leave me alone?”

“Ooh, you’re trying to bribe me now?” Heather said with a grin.

Yana laughed, tinged with bitterness.  “At least one person I know likes this.”

“Oh come on.  Everyone else here had a blast last week.”

“And this week I’m in the doghouse for messing up KK’s schedule.  Which means they’ll be working straight through Friday, I bet.”

“Even if they are... we could play after hours.  You could try being a giantess, you seemed to enjoy towering over Darryl.”

Yana blushed.  “I was tiny last night, it was a blast.  Want to try?”

Heather nodded, and spent the afternoon three feet tall.  They actually got a laugh out of KK over it.  Later, Heather suggested that Yana could help reset wardrobe after shoots, instead of swapping outfits for fresh ones she could clean them magically.  Between that, and the shots they’d done on Monday, the week’s work sped along, and Friday at noon KK announced that they were done with the set.

As Yana was breaking the transformations on the set-pieces and helping move everything back to storage, Steven came through with his promise of hay bales.  A pickup truck’s worth got dumped into the loading dock, and he brought Yana to see.  “Think you can work with these?”

Yana grinned.  “I’m sure.  So.  Who wants to be a giantess?”

Heather practically bounced up and down in excitement.  “Me!   Me!”

“Bah, you’re already a giantess.  KK?”

The studio owner shook her head.  “I’d rather be a robot again so I can stay up all night editing videos.”

“Done.  OK, Heather, go sit on the hay bales.”

KK looked down at her hands, and flexed them experimentally. “I don’t feel all that different.”

Yana nodded.  “I used something similar on Darryl a few days ago, to make him smaller.  Robot on the inside, normal looking skin on the outside.  It’s some kind of special rubber, though.  So you don’t sweat or anything.”

“Huh,” said KK, sounding slightly disappointed.  “I was hoping for some glowing lines or exposed joints.”

Yana snapped her fingers, and KK’s hips, elbows and knees acquired glowing seams, parting to expose metal joints underneath.  “Better?  This way all you need is a long sleeved dress and you can go outside without causing a fuss.  Tawny got tired of covering up.”

KK flashed her a grin.  “Awesome.  How long will it last?”

“Should be good until Monday.  I can reinforce it then if you want to keep it.  You like being a robot?”

KK spun around experimentally.  “I’m over forty.  This body feels young again.  I love it!”

“I don’t know if it’ll let you stay up all night.  Did Tawny?”

“She said she had to sleep a couple hours.  That’s still a big help.  Plus getting to feel like this?”  KK danced off towards the editing suite.

Heather waved at Yana from her perch atop the hay bales.  “Can I get big now?”

Yana laughed.  “Sure.  How big?”

Heather patted the pile.  “As big as this’ll make me.”

Yana nodded and set to work.  One by one the bales flicked into ribbons then vanished into Heather’s skin.  Faster and faster they went, until she was left sitting on the floor where the bales had been.  She looked over at Yana curiously, then flexed an arm.  “I feel very odd.”

“Wait for it.  Um, is the camera rolling?”

The cameramen gave her a thumb’s up.  Yana turned back to Heather, and made a lifting gesture with her hands.  Heather grinned as she started to grow larger.  Soon her dress was being strained by her burgeoning body, pulling tight around her hips and chest.  Moments later, the seams let go with a loud tearing sound.  The dress fluttered to the ground, revealing a bra and panties that were faring little better.

Heather stood up, and flexed, and that was it for the rest of her clothes.  She towered over everyone in the loading dock, already ten feet tall and still growing.  As her head approached the roof, she crouched down, then sat heavily on the floor once more.  Even sitting, she towered over everyone, and when the growth finally stopped her head was brushing the roof again.

“Ohhh,” Heather sighed.  “So big.  But why do I feel so weak?”

Yana walked up to her and poked at one giant leg experimentally.  “Because you’re stuffed with straw.  I’m limited to the muscle you already had.”

Heather sighed.  “Foo.  No rampaging?”

Yana shrugged.  “Hey, you’re still huger than huge.  That’s gotta count for something.”

Heather’s laugh shook the walls of the set.  “I could just lie here and let you act something out on my tummy. Anyone want to go spelunking?”

Steve hopped up on to Heather’s belly, and looked toward her legs.  “You’re not that big.  I’d have to shrink a good bit to... woah!”

Yana giggled as she watched Steve dwindle on Heather’s belly.  “How about now?”

Steve jumped around experimentally, then looked up at Heather.  “Shall I?”

Heather flexed an arm, slowly lifting it then bringing her hand up to Steve.  She closed it around him softly.  “I... can we fix this hay thing first?  Can’t I be a giant robot or something?”

“I don’t know how,” Yana admitted softly.  “All the robots so far use modified muscles to move.  Motors and all that... I’d need an engineer to design it.”

“Could Darryl help?”

Yana’s hand went to the golden chain about her neck.  “I...”

Heather leaned forward to loom over Yana.  “You haven’t let him out.”

“No,” she admitted weakly.  “I knew he’d be mad, and we’d fight, and I’d do something worse.”

“So?  What are you waiting for?” asked Heather.  “I’m big and heavy and ugh... I wanted this to be fun.”

Steve spoke up then.  “What if returned Heather to normal, and shrunk me further?  Get a few of the others involved, and we could play atop a giantess.”

“What do we do with the hay, then?” asked Heather.

“Skyscrapers!” exclaimed Steve.  “Make it look like you’re a giantess in a city.”

Heather nodded, and was soon back to normal size.  Carrying the hay within her made it easy to move everything to the main sound stage.  Once she was there, buildings sprung up about her as hay-coloured ribbons fluttered out of her body.

Then she started to shrink toward Steve’s size.  She looked up at Yana in shock.  “What’s the big idea?” she squeaked.

“We’re going to start the shot again with another growth scene.  Who else wants a part?”

Tawny was the only one who stepped forward.  “I’m in.  Can Heather and I fight over Steve, growing bigger as we do so?”

Yana nodded as she sent Tawny dwindling.  “Sounds like fun.”  Once everyone was down to Steve’s height, she looked around.  “You’re, ah, going to need to be smaller for your starting size.”

“How small?” asked Steve.

Yana pointed at the buildings around them.  The floors were no more than an inch tall.

“Wow,” was all Steve said.  Then he grinned up her and nodded.  “Let’s do this.”

Steve shrunk first, and from the way he was grinning up at the two women towering over him, he was having a great time.  Soon they joined him at an inch tall, and the camera rolled up closer to get a good view of them.

“Go for it,” said Yana.  “Have fun, and I’ll play along.”

Heather stomped over to Tawny, and gave her a shove.  “What are you doing looking at my man like that, shrimp?”

Tawny sneered back at her.  “Who you calling shrimp, tiny?  I can tower over you any day.”  She started to grow, quickly doubling in size.  Heather glared up at her.  “That’s all you’ve got?  I can do better.”  Soon she was three times Steve’s height, and grinning down at the other two.  “See?”

The trash talking and growth continued until Tawny and Heather were normal sized, then they started a shoving match that destroyed several of the buildings.  Heather finally pinned Tawny and growled, “Down you go.  I’m going to take all of your height.”

“Do it, bitch,” gritted Tawny.  “If I can’t have him, at least I’ll be part of you when you do.”

Tawny dwindled swiftly in Heather’s grasp, and Heather had to adjust her grip.  Before long, it only took one hand to bind Tawny.  Moments later she was nothing but a speck in Heather’s hand, then she was gone.  Heather stared over at Yana, and then started to grow.  She stopped at a little over seven feet tall.

“You... is she really part of me?  I feel incredible.”

Yana nodded.  “Any more volunteers to make Heather huge?”

Steve waved from his hidey-hole in one of the damaged buildings.  Heather scooped him up, and soon he was gone as well.  Her height topped eight feet.

“Mmmmm.  I love it.  I don’t suppose I could stay this way all weekend?” she asked playfully.

“Sure,” Yana said with a grin.  “There, you’re good for as long as you like.”

“Wait a minute!” protested Heather. “Did you just make this permanent?”

Yana nodded enthusiastically.  “You seemed to like it, and it’s not like I can’t change you back whenever you ask.”

“But what about Steve and Tawny?  They might have had plans that didn’t involve being, well... me.”

“Bah.”

“Yana!”

Yana grumbled. “Fine.”  A moment later, three people were standing where Heather had been.

Steve hugged Heather.  “That was fun.  But thanks for getting us out.”

Heather gave Yana a significant look. “There’s someone else that needs out, too.”

Yana sighed.  “I suppose.”  She took off her necklace, and spun Darryl back into human form in front of her.

He sighed, looking at Yana’s downcast face.  “How long was it this time?”

“It’s Friday.”

Darryl looked around at the devastated skyscrapers on the set.  “Looks like I missed the fun.”

Yana peeked up at him through her hair.  “You’re not mad?”

“I was pissed... back on Tuesday.  At least, once you brought my mind back.  Why did you, anyway?”

Yana shrugged, head still bowed.  “I couldn’t get the good thread when your mind was gone.”

“Ah.”  Darryl licked his lips.  “Did my boss call?”

“A bunch of times.  I didn’t know what to say, so I ignored them.”  Yana’s voice got smaller and smaller as she talked.  So did her body, her magic tugging at it, reducing it.  “They got pretty loud.”

Darryl crouched to put himself back on Yana’s dwindling level.  “Am I fired?”

Yana shrunk further.  “Yes.  Please don’t hate me.”

Darryl put a finger under her tiny chin, lifting it until she looked into his eyes.  “Never.  I’d grown to hate most of my job.  But it’s going to be hard to make rent if I’m dangling around your neck all day.”

Heather crouched beside him.  “I can help.  Let me move in with you two, share the rent.  You’ve got a spare bedroom, right?  Then you can write when you’re not playing battery.”

“I...”  Darryl looked down at Yana.  “That would work.  We can use magic to cover a lot of other expenses, like food and new clothes.”

Yana started to smile.  “We can do this?”

“Yes.”

Before Darryl’s word finished echoing around the studio, he was fluttering to the floor as a bra and Yana was full sized again.  She caught him before he hit the ground and clutched him to her chest.  “I love you so much.”

Heather cleared her throat.  “Are you going to wear him all weekend?  He might like a little time as a human.”

Yana giggled.  “Maybe.  But he’s almost as bad as you.  C’mon, I’ll wear you home too.”

Heather grinned and opened her arms wide to accept the change.  Her body disappeared in a cascade of golden fabric.  Yana slipped out of her clothes, put her new bra and long swishy dress on, then headed for the door.

“You’re getting used to this place.  Didn’t think twice about stripping naked on set.”

Yana spun around.  “Nadine?  Oh.  Uh... how much did you see?”

The actress laughed.  “Enough to know who you’re wearing.  Can I have Heather tomorrow night?  We were going to go clubbing.”

Yana’s eyes sparkled with mischief.  “Do you want her as a sexy dress, or as a human?”

Nadine slowly looked Yana’s dress over and started to smile.  “Yes.”
