Moontouched 9
Donna felt herself fall. After exploding into hundreds of colourful rubber breasts, she was surprised at how distinct and singular the experience was. She could only feel one of the breasts directly, the others only as distant presences. They all jiggled and shifted a the edge of sensing, and it was all quite relaxing.
That was, until she felt parts of Gwen patter down among her as more breasts, and what was left of Gwen fell in among the masses of colourful spheres. At first Donna was just amused, but as Gwen’s panic spiked along the link between them Donna started to worry about her friend. What had happened?
Reluctantly, Donna reshaped her simple form into a human body once more, so she could see what had happened. There, among the breasts, was... part of Gwen. Just her torso, limbless and headless, slowly sinking among all the breasts, and radiating distress.
Donna scooped her friend up, and nudged a little power at her, enough to restore her head. “Hey, shh, it’s OK.”
Gwen gasped as her mouth formed, then looked up at Donna with a rueful smile. “That was maybe just a little bit too much fun.”
Donna kicked a leg through the colourful rubber breasts filling the room to knee height. “It is rather fun. I can feel them, a little. Plus they’re just so cheerful.”
Gwen giggled. “I guess. Can I have mine back now? If you can tell which ones are which, anyway.”
Donna tugged gently against the power binding the other parts of her. In moments, they shrank away to dust, swirled against her, and were reabsorbed. In the process, she added thousands of brightly-coloured spots to her skin. She gestured at the dozens of pale-coloured orbs that remained. “Those are yours. Can you sort them out yourself, or do you need a... hand.” Donna snickered.
“Ha ha, very funny. I’d like to try it myself, but I’ll need a little juice first. You’re not topping me up any more.”
“I’m not? Sorry, I didn’t realize...” Donna examined the pearlescent link she could perceive linking herself to Gwen. She poked at it mentally, and tried nudging some power along it. “There we go. Just needed priming again.”
Gwen and Donna both smiled as they felt the power flow once more. “Aaah, that’s the good stuff,” said Gwen. “Could you put me down? And maybe roll my boobs closer?”
Donna giggled as she did so. “Just sweeping up a friend, nothing too unusual. Well, not for the Blue Vixen on a full Moon night, anyway.” She helped gather Gwen’s boobs into a loose pile, and watched as they slowly merged back together again, forming into limbs. “Um, Gwen... those don’t look like arms.”
Gwen shrugged the tentacles that had attached at her shoulders. “Arms are so ten minutes ago, darling. The future is tentacles. Think we could start a trend?”
“We?” Donna looked at her arms, and was startled to realize she’d changed them to match Gwen’s. “Yeah, maybe. C’mon, lets see what we’ve missed.”
Thanks to all the unusual shapes that had been showing up on stage, the fantasy requests were piling up. Donna changed Vanessa’s skin back to a more normal tone as part of giving her yet another singer’s look. She bounced off to her appointment happily, singing a tune that Donna half recognized.
“Oooh, Nissa’s going to love this,” Donna said as she looked at another slip. “Finally something interesting. Hey, Nissa!”
The spider-bodied dancer skittered over. Two of the other dancers pulled back in fright from her monstrous appearance, but the rest seemed to have adapted to the strange forms walking among them. None had so much as blinked at Donna and Gwen’s tentacles, or Donna’s multicoloured freckles.
“What is it?” asked Nissa. “Something fun?” Donna wordlessly handed her the slip, and Nissa beamed. “Marilyn Monroe as a half-spider? Oooh, he shouldn’t have. Can you change my white dress to fit?” Nissa’s body was already reshaping itself atop the spider.
“I’ll do one better, so the dress is still intact. How about the same dress, but in black to match the spider?”
Nissa’s grin was sufficient answer, so Donna plucked out a hair and spun it into fabric, tossing it over Nissa’s body and shaping it to suit her. That it picked up spider-web patterns in the process just made Nissa grin even more. She scuttled up to a mirror and posed in front of it. “Oh wow. This is too perfect. Too bad Hallowe’en was last month.”
The next fun fantasy Donna found, buried under three more celebrity impersonations that would have to wait until Nissa had the normal number of legs, was also celebrity-based. “Hey Gwen, ready to be an intrepid reporter?”
Gwen laughed. “Sure, why not. What’s the plan?”
Donna hid the slip from her. “I’ll be your camerawoman. Just play along.” She spun a yellow blazer out of dust from her skin, and once Gwen was done struggling with the sleeves she changed her tentacles back into arms. Donna shouldered an old-fashioned camera that hadn’t been there a moment ago, and gestured to Gwen to lead on.
Their client, a slim man with a salt-and-pepper beard, was already in the room. Donna pressed something into his hands, then stepped back with her camera at the ready. “OK April, here we are at Dynatek headquarters. Let’s get this in the can so we can go home.”
Gwen played along, and started to interview the guy, asking what he did at Dynatek. He stammered a few answers, then looked down at the object in his hands. He grinned. “I’ve invented a fantastic new way of dealing with overcrowding.”
“Oh? Sounds fascinating,” said Gwen with a winning smile. “Can you show us?”
“I thought you’d never ask.” He pointed the toy-like ray-gun at Gwen, and when he pulled the trigger it glowed green. No beam shot out, to his disappointment. But when Gwen started to shrink out of her clothes his face broke out into a huge grin. “It works! I mean, of course it works, it has been extensively tested.”
Gwen gamely continued with the interview, but soon disappeared entirely into her crumpling jacket. After twenty seconds or so, a six inch tall naked figure wriggled its way out of a sleeve. “Very funny.”
“What happens if I zap her again?”
Donna shrugged, and gestured at Gwen. “See for yourself.”
“Hey!” said Gwen as the shrink ray glowed once more. Donna carefully scooped her up as she dwindled further, from six inches to under half an inch tall. She held the tiny woman up for their client to examine.
He could barely believe his eyes. “She’s... real?”
Gwen danced on Donna’s hand, gyrating as if she was on a stage. Then she shuddered when the ray gun’s emitter started pointing her way once more. She held up her arms as if to ward it off, but it did no good. She dwindled further, to a barely visible speck in Donna’s palm.
“Wow. That’s... um... wow. Is she still there?”
Donna tweaked her eyes so she could see better. “Yep. Struggling to get out of the crevasse made by the crease in my palm.”
“I guess I should help her out, then,” he said with a smirk.
Donna looked up just in time to see the shrink ray glowing at her, and she rolled her eyes. “Of course.” She throttled her shrinking rate to match Gwen’s, and soon Gwen was visible in her palm once more.
“There!” boomed the giant above them. “Now you can watch her, while I watch you.”
Donna flashed him a grin, and set to climbing out of her clothes, then up onto the room’s table. She had to make her palms sticky like a gecko’s to do so, which had the added advantage of securing Gwen. She danced on the tabletop, until the shrink ray glowed once more.
A giant hand that approached from the sky, blotting it out like a zeppelin. Donna waited until it landed next to her, then carefully climbed aboard. Gwen squeaked worriedly in her hand, but Donna only shrugged. “I can get us out of this easily enough.”
So she danced once more, atop his hand. And when he asked her to hold out Gwen, she did so. This time the shrink ray glowed red, so she grew Gwen to her height. They laughed and cavorted in a palm the size of a baseball diamond, watched over by enormous, wondering eyes.
When time was up, their captor considerately zapped them twice each to grow them back to normal. Donna gave him a kiss on the cheek for his kind gesture. “Thanks. It’s a bit tricky to run that thing when you’re the size of a pea.”
He chuckled softly. “I was tempted to walk off with you... but I think the bouncer would have taken a dim view of it. Besides, it would hardly be sporting.”
Donna grinned at that. “Well, if you’re looking for sport... Perhaps we could try a miniature safari one day. Hunting wild ants twice our size.”
The way his eyes sparkled at the suggestion made it clear that he’d be a repeat customer.
After that was the usual round of minor celebrities, though one of the scenarios did at least involve tentacles. Gwen volunteered for that one. After they’d set up enough fantasies to cover to midnight, Gwen dragged Donna up to the stage. “You haven’t danced enough,” Gwen declared. “You can’t stay in the green room all night.”
Donna just laughed and went along with it. She even made Gwen’s job easier, by growing her muscles to weightlifter proportions. Gwen picked Donna up, and carried her onto the stage. By the time the first song had ended, Gwen was eight feet tall, and Donna was a python draped over her shoulders. Leo got into the act at that point, and cued up ‘White Rabbit’. At the line ‘Ask Alice when she’s ten feet tall’, Donna grew Gwen even bigger.
Gwen didn’t bother with the stairs once the song was over, she simply stepped directly off the stage. Unsurprisingly, the crowd parted before her, and few of the guys would meet her gaze. Among the ones who did was Dave, and she gifted him with her dancing partner, draping a twelve foot python over his arms. He staggered a little under the weight, and quickly found a chair to sit in.
Donna chuckled. “Don’t tell me I’m too much ssnake for you to handle.”
Dave skritched the top of her had, and Donna’s eyes half-lidded. “I make it a point never to comment on the weight of a beautiful female. Though I suspect your friend outweighed you by a good amount.”
“Flatterer. Still, you’re right. If we keep this kind of thing up they’re going to have to reinforce the stage better.”
They chatted idly for a bit, neither finding it worth commenting on that Dave was flirting with a large snake. Several in the crowd were obviously boggled by it, but kept their distance.
Just before midnight, Gwen came out to find Donna. She was back to her normal height, but had kept the bigger muscles. “Hey girl, time to get you backstage. Crazy eights soon.”
Donna flickered her tongue at Dave. “Duty callsss.” She slithered off his arms, and onto Gwen’s, who easily managed her weight.
“Wait, why are you needed for a card game.”
Donna flashed him a snaky grin. “Watch who comesss up on sstage ssoon, and figure it out.”
Three card tables had been pushed together in the green room, and almost a dozen dancers crowded around it. Donna looked at them all, reptilian eyes blinking in surprise. “You’re all in for the same stakes as last time? Even the bit where the loser has to accept a diminishment?”
Everyone nodded, though some looked more eager than others. Before they started, Neysa asked politely if she could have her arms back, as it would be difficult to play without them. Donna did so, then asked if anyone else wanted to be returned to normal first. There were no takers.
When it came time to play, it seemed like more than a few of the dancers were trying to throw the game. Tawny seemed especially giddy when another player forced her to draw four cards. She went on to lose quite handily, and looked like she could barely wait her turn for her fate.
“Vanessa wins,” declared Donna needlessly, as the other had made a show of playing her last card. “One anything. What would you like me to make you?”
“I think I’ll go with an aquatic theme again... but something that’s a bit more mobile than a mermaid. Did you ever see Disney’s Little Mermaid movie?” When Donna nodded, Vanessa continued. “I’d like something like Ursula’s octopus body... but sexy.”
Donna mulled it over. “Black latex, perhaps? I could run it all the way up to your neck, make it seem like it’s half fetish outfit, half transformation...”
“Shiny black latex?” asked Vanessa, eagerly. At Donna’s nod, she grinned, and danced out into the middle of the room where everyone could see her, and where she could watch herself in the mirrors. “Hit me!”
Donna couldn’t help but return the grin. Power flowed through her, starting the change with Vanessa’s legs. They thickened at the hips first, flaring out into comically wide hips and tree-trunk like legs before each leg divided into four parts. And still they grew, uncurling and swarming larger, a squirming mass that easily supported the rest of Vanessa’s body. When they finally stopped growing, the tapered tentacles were at least eight feet long, and each was as thick at the top as Vanessa’s original legs had been. Her hips were huge, and she gave them a waggle as a tide of shiny blackness poured up her body. It soon lapped at her breasts, flowing between and around them to crest at her neck. Vanessa’s Moon-enhanced bosom was left as a pair of milky white islands in the shimmering black sea.
“What do you think?” asked Donna. “Leave the breasts exposed like this? Or cover them too?”
Vanessa studied herself in the mirror as others called suggestions. It was Gwen that gave the last suggestion, the one that made Vanessa nod. “Cover it all. Breasts, arms, even her head.”
The tide rushed forth again, and when it was done not the slightest fragment of pale skin was to be found. Vanessa’s hair was compressed under it, making her head look bigger than usual, and perfectly oval. The only things marring it were her ears, eyes, nose and mouth.
“More,” said Vanessa, staring at herself in fascination. “Cover it all.”
Her ears vanished, slipping into the inky orb of her head. Then her nose and her eyes. Donna hesitated over the last. “Are you sure? You’ll be able to breathe.”
“Can you make it so I can see like this?” asked Vanessa, followed moments later by, “Oh! Yes, that works. Do it.” And that was that. Her mouth slipped away, leaving a featureless orb atop her body. Vanessa wriggled her way toward the stage, finding her way past obstacles unerringly.
Everyone watched her go, and it wasn’t until the stage door closed behind her that conversation started once again. After a bit of chatter, it was pointed out that both Beth and Gwen had only one card left.
Gwen gestured to Beth magnanimously. “It’s only fair that you have it. After all, Donna has changed me a bunch tonight already.”
Beth smiled at her sweetly. “Thank you. And thank you too, Donna, for doing this.” She frowned briefly in puzzlement. “But if I understand correctly, we could just ask you nicely for changes like this and you’d do it anyway... so why the game?”
“Because it’s fun? And someone has to clean up... Plus, there’s the frisson of wondering what will happen if you lose.” Donna shot Tawny a faux-evil look, and Tawny giggled.
“But why risk it?”
Donna shrugged. “If you just ask for a change, I’ll amuse myself with it. So be careful when you ask me to make you a tail, hmm?” Everyone laughed, a few nervously. “But for the winners, I’ll make sure I get it right, even if I have to tinker and tweak to get it just so. So... what can I do for you, Beth? Well, for half of you, anyway.”
Beth stood up from her chair, and showed off the deer’s legs that Donna had given her earlier. “Can I do something with these?”
“Sure. Did you want the top half to match? Or a different animal? Zebra might look interesting.”
“No, no. I... I want a deer’s body, but still my top half up above it. Sort of like a centaur, but not a horse?”
Donna paced around Beth’s body, studying it. “So, a deer-taur? I can do that. Same fur as now, or would you like a fawn’s spots?”
Beth smiles shyly. “I’d like spots, if you please.”
“So polite. Spots you shall have...” Donna gestured dramatically, and Beth’s legs thickened then divided much as Vanessa’s had. Once she had two sets of legs, though, they pushed farther apart, a slim furred torso growing between them. Spots emerged at the end, white against the warm brown of her fur.
Beth pranced in front of the mirror, giggling. “Ooh, it’s perfect.”
Donna studied her, then shook her head. “Missing something. How would you feel about having deer ears?”
Beth nodded, and soon they were growing out in place of her human ones. She flicked them experimentally, giggling even more as they pointed this way and that. “Eee! Can I go dance like this?”
“Of course! That’s the other part of the game, the winners and loser all get a turn on stage.”
Beth pranced up to the stage, hooves tapping a merry cadence on the floor. She met Vanessa coming off from her set, and shied slightly from the imposing inky black form, then apologized. Again.
Donna turned slowly to face the players, focussing on Tawny. “And now the fun part. The diminishment. I could just make you shorter. Or take your arms away. Your choice, as long as it makes you less than what you are.”
“You could make her an eight-armed sweater for Vanessa,” suggested Gwen.
“Or a set of silken veils for me to dance with,” added Neysa, wiggling her hips.
Tawny just smiled. “I know what I want. You turned me into a tattoo earlier, but I was just on a sheet of paper. I want to know what it’s like to be on someone’s body instead.”
Donna looked around the room. “Who wants a living tattoo?”
Carmen grinned her toothy grin, and raised a clawed hand. “Sounds like fun. Can you make her look like herself, instead of a dragon?”
Donna snorted. “Of course.” She gestured to Tawny. “Stand next to her.” It was Carmen, however, that moved, looming over Tawny who had already started to shrink. Before long she was six inches tall, and Donna lifted her up, held her out to Carmen. “Where do you want her?”
Carmen gestured to her left breast, and Donna draped the tiny girl there. “Ready?” Tawny gave a nod, then started melting into Carmen’s skin. Less than a minute later, all that was left of her was an impossibly detailed tattoo of a dragon-tattooed woman posing provocatively on Carmen’s chest.
“You should go dance like that. Let people see her,” Donna said, then turned away, walking off to the Changing Room for some quiet.
She wasn’t at all surprised to feel Gwen enter behind her.
“What’s wrong, Donna?” Gwen closed the door.
“I... Why’d you have to suggest clothes?”
“‘Cause it seemed like fun, and it’s kind of been a theme tonight... oh. Is this about the bra again?”
Donna nodded, still looking away from Gwen, looking up at the Moon through the wall, the clouds. It hardly mattered any more what stood between her and the full Moon. “Why does everyone else get to play out their fantasy?”
“Oh, Donna.... You know I’d wear you in a heartbeat. But...”
“Yeah, but. But Sidney. You like her, I love her..” Donna turned to face Gwen, eyes wet with tears. “And getting off on being snuggled up to someone else’s boobs is just one step too far.”
“So be a bra. Just a bra, not a person. A bra doesn’t have to feel guilty for doing its job.”
Each word made Donna’s body dwindle. She looked up at Gwen with impossible hope in her eyes, tried to speak, failed.
“Compress your mind as you compress your body.” Gwen crouched before her diminishing friend, smiling as her skin gave way to shiny satin. “Fabric, not flesh. A bra, not a person.” She brushed her fingers over the face in the bra-cup. “Not Donna. You are a pretty bra. Nothing more.” The face was gone.
Gwen scooped the simple black bra up, and held her up to her chest. She laughed, the bra wasn’t even remotely large enough to fit her. “Figures. You’re Sidney’s bra. I wonder what she’d say if I brought you home like this.”
