Moontouched 7
Donna smiled at Arwen’s companion. “I’m glad to see you, Joseph. So are you two back together?”
Joseph nodded. “I reacted badly to a situation that was at least as much my own doing as Arwen’s. She has been kind enough to overlook certain unkind words.”
Donna and Arwen smiled. Donna asked, “So what brings the two of you here?”
“I want to get back on the horse, try being a woman again,” said Joseph. “This time, with the full effect. Change me into a woman all the way.”
Donna felt the magic rush out without her bidding it. She didn’t feel guilty, he had asked after all. “One Donna special, coming up. Should I fetch Neysa to teach you how to dance, too? We could send you up on stage...”
Joseph was too busy staring at his burgeoning breasts to answer. His shirt lost a button, then he had to scramble to undress before more of his clothes were ruined. Before long she was standing there in only her boxers, looking quite delectable. She didn’t look anything like Joseph, not even a distant cousin. Wavy honeyed tresses had replaced Joseph’s short blonde hair. She had the curves of a dancer, though less generous than the enhanced dancers out there tonight. Her face was round and cute, and her eyes were a more vibrant shade of blue.
“What’s your name?” Donna asked, curiously.
The new woman reluctantly pulled her gaze away from her examination of her body. “My name? Call me Jo-Jo.”
Arwen whistled softly. “You did a real number on her. Jo-Jo, can you remember what you looked before we came here?”
Jo-Jo’s pretty brow furrowed in concentration. It wasn’t a good look for her. “Oh! Yes, I was... a man? How odd. Can I go dance now?”
“Well, you’ll need a top to dance in. And maybe something more fitting below.” With a gesture, the loose boxers turned into a fire engine red pair of satin panties.
Arwen had a speculative look on her face. “I should really be... supportive of Jo-Jo in her new form.”
Donna looked over at her sharply. “Are you volunteering to be her top?”
“I... yes, I think so. Ever since I saw you change, I found myself curious.” She paused a moment, then smiled. “I wish I knew what such a radical change feels like. Oh!”
Donna sighed as Arwen started to shrink. “You know how I am about wishes.”
Arwen smiled up at Donna from where she was crumpling into her blouse, her face becoming the same red as Jo-Jo’s panties. “It wasn’t an accident. Something to work on, yes?”
Donna nodded, then picked Arwen up out of her clothes. Her face was still visible on outside of one of the bra-cups, and with an effort Donna stopped the change there. “Can you still speak?” she asked.
Arwen tried, but no words came out. She managed to waggle the cup to shake her head no.
Jo-Jo had watched the exchange in fascination. “Oooh, she’s so pretty. I get to wear her?”
“Yep.” Donna handed the red satin bra to the new dancer. “Have fun, but... no throwing her into the audience, OK?”
Donna led Jo-Jo to the stage door, and was intercepted by Gwen along the way.
“Who’s the new girl?”
Donna grinned. “Arwen’s sweetie, Joseph. Wearing Arwen... see?” Donna pointed to the woman’s face on the bra cup.
“Rowan’s looking for you. Want me to keep an eye on the two of them?”
“Maybe you can go up with her, give her some pointers. And keep that bra from getting lost. I’d hate to have Arwen stuck in someone’s drawer.”
The look on Arwen’s face when Donna said that made her giggle. “Didn’t think about that when you made your wish, did you?”
Gwen grinned. “I’ll keep them out of trouble. Well, more trouble than they’re already in, anyway.”
“Right, ‘cause you’re all about keeping people out of trouble. Imp.” With that thought, two bright red Devil-horns grew from Gwen’s forehead.
Gwen’s grin grew suitably wicked, and she led Jo-Jo and Arwen up to the stage and into temptation.
Donna turned around to find Rowan standing behind her with an impassive look on her face. She was pretty sure she could see the twinkle of a hidden grin in those eyes, though. “More fantasies for you.”
“Did you hide the good stuff on the bottom again?” Donna flipped through the pile quickly. “Celeb, celeb, big-breasted celeb. Come on, doesn’t anyone have any imagination? OK, this one might be fun. Hey Nissa, want to be a Borg?”
Nissa grinned a predator’s grin. “If it’s the sexy one, sure. Jeri Ryan’s no Marilyn, but she is cute.”
Donna slimmed down some of Nissa’s curves, to her disappointment, while making the changes to her face and throat. Nissa touched the metal protrusion over her eye as she examined herself in the mirror. “This doesn’t actually do anything, right?”
“No, just a prop.” Donna plucked one of her hairs, and spun it into a skintight catsuit for Nissa to wear, complete with insignia. “Here. So you really look the part.”
Nissa grinned, and stripped out of her dancing clothes to dress in the catsuit and nothing else.
Donna shook her head. “Going to make some guy happy... Now let’s see what else is on these slips.” She flipped through more. “Hah! Someone liked the pole transformations last time.” She looked over at Rowan. “Do you think the girls would be OK dancing with a pole made from one of our spectators?”
The older woman shrugged. “How much can you feel when you’re made of metal?”
“Not much, really. Enough to know what’s happening, but it’s not like they’d be giving him a boob-job when they grind against the pole.”
“I’ll warn them about it, so they can dance at the other poles if it bothers them. I’m pretty sure he’s going to get a lot of attention.” Rowan grinned.
Donna chuckled softly in reply. “Lucky guy. Set him up in one of the smaller rooms and I’ll see to it.”
The guy who wanted to be a pole looked a bit like one already. Brassy hair topped a narrow face and a wiry body. Donna smiled at him kindly, and asked why he wanted to be a dancing pole.
“My friends used to tease me about it. Said I should volunteer. And last month... last month you actually did it, to that other dancer. So I figured... why not? To have all those cute girls up against me, it might be fun.”
“Oh, it will be. How long do you want to stay on stage? I can change you back any time tonight, otherwise you’d be stuck there for a week.”
“A week! I...” He looked away from Donna, toward the stage out of sight behind the walls. “I don’t think I can disappear for a week. I wish I could...”
Donna sucked in her breath softly, feeling the magic gather. But he didn’t finish the thought. She let it flow into him anyway, starting the change with his legs. His left leg atrophied, while the right thinned to a pole of just the right diameter, and became hard metal. “Be careful what you wish for.”
His pants fell away, sliding down the brass pole that used to be his leg. As the change progressed slowly up his torso, the guy lifted up his shirt to watch. His breathing became shallow, stopped. He looked up at Donna with wonder in his eyes, then his face thinned away, joined the pole, and was gone.
Donna shook the clothes off of the pole, and carefully carried it through the green room. She didn’t want to bump anyone with the pole, and the room was bustling. Several of the dancers came over to touch the pole, grinning at the knowledge of what it was.
“Can he feel this?” asked one.
Donna nodded. “Faintly. About what you would feel through a heavy corset.”
“Cool.” She leaned in and gave it a kiss. Donna grinned, and headed up to the stage, waving at Gwen and Jo-Jo as they came off. She was just planning to swap the poles and be done with it, when Leo cut in her favourite song. So she had to dance to it, using the pole as a prop in an improvised weapon-dance. It was heavy, so she bulked up her muscles until she could toss it around like a baton. Select parts of the audience cheered, and she flexed for them.
Donna ended the song with the pole planted next to the one in the center of the stage, and quickly swapped them out on the break Leo gave her between songs. Then, of course, she had to dance with the other one... She gave it a few ringing taps against the new pole as she went. This one was much easier to handle, she’d forgotten that the normal poles were hollow tubes.
She set the pole aside once she was back in the green room, but kept the muscles. Gwen and Jo-Jo were sitting together giggling at something. As Donna approached she saw that they were petting Jo-Jo’s top, and Arwen was making such a happy face that Donna was reluctant to change her back.
Gwen noticed her presence. “Hey, can you make it so Arwen can speak like this?”
Donna nodded, and soon Arwen’s face was making soft trilling sounds of pleasure as she was petted. “Oh!” she said when she realized what had happened. “Thanks, Donna.”
“You’re welcome. So... do you want to stay like this a while longer?”
“Mmm. I’m happy to stay like this.”
“Seriously? Did I mess with your mind by accident?”
“I don’t think so. I’m just... this feels really nice. You should try it.”
Donna huffed softly. “Sidney doesn’t want to wear me again.”
Gwen got up and gave Donna a hug. “I’m sure she’ll change her mind. You should ask again.”
“I guess. Anyway. What are we going to do with them?” Donna indicated Jo-Jo and her bra.
“I’m good like this,” squeaked Arwen’s tiny voice.
Jo-Jo squirmed. “I’m just so damned turned on. I wish she was something that could deal with it.”
Gwen’s eyes went wide as she felt Donna’s power flicker past her. “You didn’t...”
Donna ducked her head. “I did.” They watched as Jo-Jo’s bra melted and pooled atop her chest. When it was done, a bright red vibrator peeked out from between her breasts, and on its tip was Arwen’s face.
“I’m so sorry, Arwen.”
“Don’t be. I think this is going to be even more fun.” Arwen yelped softly as her sweetie scooped her up, then giggled at the feeling of being handled. “Oh, yeah.”
Jo-Jo found the switch at the bottom of the vibrator, and Arwen started thrumming in her hands. Arwen's voice wasn’t quite drowned by the noise, and quickly spiralled into moans of pleasure. Jo-Jo flipped the switch off again, and Arwen pouted up at her. “Why’d you stop?”
“It was that, or use you in front of everyone.”
Arwen grinned.
Donna gathered up Arwen and Joseph’s clothes. Jo-Jo barely fit Arwen’s top, but Donna refrained from altering either. She thought the ‘almost bursting out of your clothes’ look suited Jo-Jo, and Gwen agreed.
Donna escorted Jo-Jo to the nearby hotel, and made sure to note which room she was given. “Have fun,” she whispered as they walked away from the front desk. “Come by the Blue Vixen when you’re ready to change back.”
Jo-Jo winked at her saucily, then waggled her way up to the room. Donna shook her head and went back to the dance club.
Gwen met her at the door. “Think they’ll be back?”
Donna laughed. “I’m going to have to go find them later.”
After a couple more celebrity look-alike fantasies, Donna found something interesting in the pile. “Ah! Figures. Someone else wants to be worn by a dancer. What the heck, let’s go with a theme tonight. I’ll see him in room two.”
To Donna’s surprise, the person who showed up in the room wasn’t a guy. She recovered quickly, and smiled at the annoyed looking woman. “Hi, I’m Donna.”
The thin, dark-haired woman smiled at her. When she wasn’t scowling, she looked pretty. “Rachel. Can you do it?”
Donna shook her proffered hand. “Turn you into an item of clothing? Yes. What did you have in mind?”
“A sexy red top like that one I saw earlier. The one with a face on it?”
“OK. Red? Or would purple suit you better.”
“Oooh, yeah, turn me into a purple top.”
Donna sighed softly as she felt the change start. She really did need to get a handle on that. Still, Rachel seemed happy enough with the way she was shrinking, then starting to turn purple and silky. She kept poking her hands into her curved, silky belly until she didn’t have hands any more, and her arms turned into bra-straps. Donna guided the change so her belly ended up as one cavernous bra-cup, and her head as the other.
“Happy? You’re a piece of clothing.”
“Hey, yeah! And I can still talk and see? Cool.”
Donna grinned as she picked the other woman up. “All part of the service. Now what? Shall I wear you up on stage dancing?”
"Yeah! And when you take me off, throw me into the audience."
Donna stared at the bra-woman in her hands, her face a mask of shock and dismay. "Why?" she whispered.
"I hate my life,” moaned the bra. “Maybe I'll end up with someone nice, instead of my jerk boyfriend who'd rather stare at fake tits than look at me."
Donna shook the pretty purple bra. "You might end up stuck like this forever."
"Good. Right now I'd prefer that to going home with that boob."
Donna frowned. How to persuade her... She erased her own top, turning it back into a single hair. Then she slipped the talking purple bra on. She fit perfectly, and purred as Donna smoothed her into place.
"If you're trying to dissuade me, you're doing a terrible job," quipped the bra.
"I could erase your face, make you just a bra. A bit of silver and you'd be stuck. You'd forget ever being human," Donna threatened.
"Yesss. Please? I can't go back."
This time Donna teased the bra, running her hands over it sensually. “This would be the last time you get worn. You’d become some guy’s souvenir, to be admired, maybe abused, but never to grace breasts again.”
“I... I...” The bra sighed then. “No. If I knew I’d be used, but... ooh, don’t stop.”
Donna stopped cold. “Let’s go find your man, and give him a lap dance to remember you by.”
“Really? You’d do that?”
Donna grinned. “I think it’s a better fate than you ending up as some random guy’s trophy, yes?”
Her bra looked less certain. “We’ll see.”
Navigating the crowd was easy enough for Donna in her muscular body, but Rachel couldn’t see much from her position atop Donna’s left breast. Donna was just starting to grow taller to solve that problem when Rachel’s voice called out that she’d spotted him. A few moments later they were standing in front of a halfway cute looking guy with short dark hair and just the beginning of a spare tire.
He stared in amazement at Donna’s chest. It was close to his eye level.
“Hey Ronnie,” called out Donna’s bra. “How do you like my way of getting you to look at me?”
Ronnie’s mouth worked a few times before his brain fully engaged. “Rachel? What have you done?”
“Gotten myself turned into a bra, what does it look like? I was going to have Donna here fling me into the audience, but she persuaded me to give you another chance.”
“Fling you into... You were going to leave?”
“In someone else’s hands. Maybe stuck forever as a bra,” the bra said bitterly. “I’ve seen the way you look at these boobs. I’m just glad you’re looking at me for once.”
Ronnie blushed, and looked up at Donna for a moment. “You don’t mind, do you?”
Donna laughed. “That’s what they’re there for. I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t want people looking at them. Come on, let’s get you the lap dance your girlfriend has paid for.”
Ronnie followed her through the crowded room as if on a leash. Donna led him to an unoccupied lap-dance booth, and pushed him to sit. She waited a moment for the current song to end, then started to gyrate to the next tune Leo spun. Ronnie was transfixed. But when the bra came off, and landed in his lap, his attention was no longer on Donna’s chest.
“You can touch her all you like,” Donna said, and kept on dancing. She watched as Ronnie’s hands roved over the purple silken expanse. She heard the bra’s moans, and smiled. A little touch of power made the bra even more sensitive, and her thin reedy voice soon spiralled into orgasmic moans.
Donna stopped dancing and just watched the expressions on their faces. Ronnie was enthralled. “Did I just...” he asked, wonderingly.
“Give me the most amazing orgasm ever? Oh, fuck yes. Do it again.”
Ronnie hesitated, and looked up at Donna. “How long will she be like this?”
Donna grinned. “For a week, if she leaves here like that.”
“Only a week?” asked the bra mournfully. “If it feels like that every night, I’d stay like this forever.”
Ronnie stared at his girfriend, her giant silken cups resting lightly in his hands. “You would? But what would we...”
“I’m sure we can find something fun for you, too. The only thing that would make it better is if someone would wear me.”
“I wish I could,” murmured Ronnie, and that was all it took.
Donna sighed softly as her power licked at Ronnie. She managed to restrict it to his torso, reshaping it to match her own voluptuous curves. When Ronnie’s shirt started to show the strain, she flicked enough power at it to keep it growing with his new chest. He unbuttoned it anyway, staring down at the enormous breasts on his chest.
“My god... Why?”
Donna smiled. “Because you wished for them. You’re going to need serious support to get around without back pain. Luckily, you have a very supportive girlfriend. Put her on.”
Ronnie struggled with his pretty bra-girlfriend until Donna came to his rescue. Once his breasts were properly supported he sighed with relief. “Oh, that’s much better.”
His bra purred her agreement. “Are you sure we can’t stay like this for longer?” she asked Donna plaintively.
“Come back next month, and we’ll talk.”
“Yay! Come on Ronnie, take me home.”
Ronnie buttoned up his shirt, hiding his bra and muffling whatever else she had to say. The moans she made as he stood up made him grin. “This will be an... interesting week. Thank you.”
Donna grinned hugely. “Be good to each other. And pay her more attention, hm?”
Ronnie’s hand brushed over his chest. “It’ll be hard not to, after this.”
“Good. Go on, get out of here.” Donna watched Ronnie go, and was still grinning when she returned to the green room.
“How’d it go?” asked Gwen.
“Good. Though what is it with giving guys boobs? That’s the second time tonight. Fourth if you count Jo-Jo and myself... Well, three. I did turn one of Arwen’s clients into a guy, so that should count against the total, right?”
Gwen just laughed. “Why’d you give him tits?”
“He wished he could wear the bra I turned his girlfriend into.”
Gwen laughed again. “I wish I had a tail to match these horns.”
Donna glared at her, but the power was already flowing. A red, spade-tipped tail flowed into existence behind Gwen, swishing excitedly. “Do you have to do that?” Donna grumped. “You could just ask.”
“Aww, it’s more fun to make you change me. Turn my hair red, too.”
Donna shook her head amusedly as Gwen’s hair changed. “Should I give you hooves, too?”
“Ooh! Yes please.” Gwen looked down as her feet changed. “Was that me or you that time?”
“Me. I think. It gets hard to tell. What am I going to do, Gwen? I can’t go around changing people just because someone says something.”
Gwen grinned devilishly at her friend. “Why not?”
“Isn’t it wrong to just... change people? Especially unwilling ones?”
“Everyone here is willing. Even the mouse liked being eaten.”
Donna squirmed uncertainly. “It is fun. But someone’s going to complain, eventually.”
Gwen’s grin grew even more wicked. “Oh, here comes Rowan. Give her angel wings and a halo.”
“Gwen!” Donna stared at Rowan, watching in horror as two broad white wings grew out of her back, and a little stick lofted a glowing golden halo above her grey hair.
Rowan fixed the two of them with a steely gaze. “What is this in aid of?”
“You get to argue why Donna shouldn’t change people at random. Whenever anyone tells her to change something, she does it. Can’t help herself.”
“I see.” Rowan pursed her lips. “Vanessa, would you come over here, please?”
Vanessa still looked a like a pop star, though Donna had already forgotten this one’s name. She walked over to the trio. “What’s up?”
“Turn her skin green,” Rowan said in a soft but decisive tone.
Donna covered her face with her hands, but couldn’t help but peek as she watched the result. Soon Vanessa had skin the colour of grass. She didn’t seem upset, more puzzled. Until Rowan handed her a slip of paper, at which she grinned. “I can do this. Thanks!”
“Interesting.” Rowan studied Donna’s expression. “It’s not about being used. You actually like that.”
Donna whispered softly, “Yes.” Then a bit louder, “But someone’s going to get hurt. Turned into something they hate, like a spider.”
Gwen chuckled wickedly, and pointed at Nissa. “Turn her into a giant spider.”
“Shit! Gwen!” Donna stared at the changing woman in horror. Her limbs were the first to go, splitting in two and growing dark, hairy, segmented. Her torso and head started changing a breath later, and as she stormed toward them with blood in her eyes, she stumbled, then fell to all eight limbs. She scuttled the rest of the way, drawing shrieks of fear from everyone she passed.
Donna faced her down bravely. “I’m sorry, Nissa. I’m having trouble controlling this.” She changed the spider’s head back to Nissa’s normal human one, and once she could speak Nissa’s first few words sounded like curses in another language.
“A spider? Whose idea was that?” asked Nissa. Except for her head, she was still a huge, hairy, black-carapaced spider.
Gwen pointed at Donna. Donna pointed at Gwen.
“Gah, never mind. Just be glad I’m not terrified of them, unlike the wimps cowering behind me.” Nissa laughed dangerously. “Give me some breasts, and I’ll go see what the crowd thinks.”
Donna sighed softly, partly in relief that Nissa wasn’t too angry, and partly in dismay that yet another change was happening without her bidding it. Nissa’s thorax stretched and became more limber, so she could lift it up to show the eight breasts nestling there, three down each side, and two down the middle. “That’s more like it,” claimed the spider girl, then she scuttled off to the stage.
“This is getting out of hand,” whimpered Donna.
“Oh, we’re just getting warmed up,” said Gwen. “Hey, girls! Donna here can’t help but change whatever you tell her to. Come have fun!”
The first dancer to approach phrased her request uncertainly. “Can you give me a bird’s head?”
Donna nodded, but didn’t do anything to the slim girl. Gwen piped up with, “She can, Silvie, but she doesn’t have to if you just ask. Tell her.”
“Give me a bird’s head, ooh, and wings and talons and ...” The beak took Silvie’s voice away, leaving only an eagle’s screech. She gave a thumbs up, spread her wings, and clacked the way to the stage on her bright yellow talons.
Busty Wendy approached her next, asking for a dragon tattoo that covered most of her torso. Donna grinned at that one, and went one better, making the tattoo out of fine green scales. Wendy liked it so much she asked for it to be bigger. Then bigger again. Donna growled, and covered her entire body in green scales, and gave her dragon-clawed hands and a muzzle to match. A crest of red scales replaced her hair, running down her back and out her long, tapered tail.
“There. You’re a dragon. Go have fun.”
“Coool!” Wendy snorted a bit of smoke, grinned a broad draconic grin, and strode toward the stage door on clawed, scaly feet.
“Make me a dragon tattoo, too!” piped up another voice. That one started to shrink, looking puzzled as her body flattened out. At a foot tall, she fell over, fluttering to the ground as a large piece of paper with a dragon tattoo printed on it.
“You turned Tawny into a temporary tattoo?” asked Neysa, wonderingly. “Is there anything you can’t do?”
Donna shook her head. “I... I don’t think so. Any concrete object, except one made of silver.”
Neysa grinned. “Gold then. Make me a gold statue.” She posed herself gracefully as the change started, shining metal starting at her feet and slowly rolling up her body in a wave like anti-gravity honey. She moaned softly as it hit her hips, then was silenced as her lungs became solid gold. The floorboards creaked in protest at the weight.
“Good God,” gasped Rowan. “Is she really solid gold?”
Donna nodded. “Tons of it. I shudder to think what she’s worth. Tens of millions.” The avarice in the eyes around her made her shudder, too. She waved a hand at Neysa, and the change reversed itself over the next minute.
“Aww. I wanted to be displayed out front,” Neysa said when she could speak again.
“You’d have been stolen, and melted down,” said Rowan. “We don’t have good enough security to deal with something that valuable.”
“Foo.”
“Turn her into a goo-girl instead, so she’s even more flexible,” said someone.
Donna paused at that, pondering how that would even work. Then she frowned. She’d paused, and the magic had paused with her. Without an objective... She grinned. “No.”
There was a collective gasp at that. Gwen grinned. “So you can say no to them. Can you say no to me?”
“I...” Donna looked trapped.
“Erase Neysa’s arms.”
Donna gave Neysa an apologetic look as the dancer’s arms slipped away into her shoulders. Once they were gone, Neysa shrugged. “This could work...”
“Erase her head, too.”
“Hey! What are you trying to mMmmf!” Neysa’s mouth vanished into her neck, and took her voice with it. Her eyes took longer, glaring at Gwen to the last. Her hair melted away like cotton candy. Even without arms her body language conveyed her displeasure.
“Make her like it.”
“GWEN!” Donna used the gentlest touch she could. Content with the body, not infatuated with it. She hoped. Neysa’s body shuddered, then bowed to her. It danced toward the stage door, bumping into it then correcting course. One of the unchanged dancers went after her to guide her the rest of the way.
“Stop me if you can.”
Donna erased Gwen’s face. Each time Gwen tried to give herself a mouth, Donna reversed the change, and soon she stopped trying.
“There. Are we quite done?”
“No,” said Rowan softly. “You were making progress.”
Jenna stepped forward, looking confident. “May I have a unicorn horn?” Nothing happened. “Oh! Right. Grow a unicorn horn in the middle of my forehead. Please?”
Donna smiled at the last word. The change had already started at that point, but it took the sting out of the order. “Enjoy.” She even added a few touches, like growing the Jenna’s hair out into a long mane, and sprinkling starry sparkles through it. It turned what could have been an elegant look into something silly, almost childish. But Jenna’s grin when she saw the bonus changes made it clear Donna had made the right call. Donna grinned back at her.
“Make me a dinosaur!” called another. Donna hesitated once more over what species to use, and grinned when she realized the urgency was gone. “No.”
Gwen spoke up then, having restored her mouth while Donna was distracted. “Give Carmen a long, fleshy tail, and a mouth full of spiky teeth. Oh, and claws for hands.”
The grin that Donna got this time was toothy, and more than a little frightening. She did her best to smile back, then turned on Gwen. “Please stop. I’m so close...”
Donna refused one dancer’s request to have two heads, again because she had to hesitate to figure out the mechanics. Several more requests were called out, and for each one she could find something to deliberate, slowing her reaction down just enough.
Gwen hugged Donna happily. “You did it!”
Donna snorted. “If I’m ready for the question, sure. I bet if someone ambushes me, I won’t do so well.”
“Hey, it’s a start.” Gwen leaned in and gave her a big kiss on the lips. Donna melted into the kiss, started to return it with interest, then shook herself and pulled away.
“Gwen! What about my wife?”
“Forget about her.”
