Darryl was the first to wake and crawl out into the morning air.  The chill in that air made him dive for his bag of clothes, and he was soon very thankful for Yana's foresight in getting warm flannel.  Before long, he had two mugs of tea steeping, and some sausages and eggs sizzling in a frying pan.  As he'd expected, Yana soon stumbled out of the tent, still wrapped up in the duvet...  Darryl did a double-take, staring at the shambling mass with nobody inside it.  Until that moment he'd forgotten Yana had used the magic Button to meld herself into a cozy pink duvet.

"Yana?" he asked, uncertainly.

The pink mass turned toward him, a confused expression on its stitched face.

He gestured weakly toward it. "How are you doing that?"

The face looked down at it's silken body, and a puzzled expression was followed by surprise... and then the duvet collapsed to the ground, inanimate once more.

Darryl approached it slowly.  "Yana?"  No response.  He looked over the surface, wondering where the button was.  No button.  He ran his hands gently over the stitched face, looking for something loose - nope.  Finally he felt around inside the folds of the duvet, and encountered a little lump.  Tugging on that pulled the button free, and started the unfolding and reforming of his fiancee, curled up inside a tattered grey blanket.  He had to tug his arm free quickly as the duvet started to close around it, then stared as he realized what it was resolving into.

While Yana patted herself down to be sure she was all there, Darryl continued to stare at her nethers.  "I slept... in there?"

Yana grinned up at him sleepily.  "Yup.  It felt... incredible.  Every time you moved in the night..."  She shivered at the memory. And from the cold.  The blanket was too thin to help much, so she sashayed back to the tent.  "I'm getting dressed."

Darryl watched her go, grinning at her backside.  "And I'll..." he turned to and surveyed the scorched mess in their one pan, "... be cleaning up and restarting breakfast."

They ate in companionable silence, watching the sun rise over the lake, setting the ripples to glittering.  After draining the dregs of his lukewarm tea, Darryl broke the silence by asking, "So... how *did* you move like that?"

Yana shrugged, taking another sip of tea before replying.  "I really don't know.  I wasn't really awake, just following the smell of tea and breakfast."

"Think you could do it again?"  Darryl inquired, pulling the button out of his pocket.

"I... don't know," Yana admitted slowly.  "I don't remember what I did.  I wasn't thinking very clearly... I don't think I was thinking at all, really."

"Maybe that's part of it.  We should test and see."

Yana turned back to the lake, watching the dance of the ripples as she sipped her tea.  "Why?"

Darryl hesitated before answering.  "Well... it's fun to play with you in doll form, but it'd be more fun if you could... move a bit."

Yana pouted.  "But that's the point - to be a helpless doll for you to use as you wish.  If I can move, it'd be just like doing it normally."

"Except for the increased sensitivity and ability to deflate you and put you away in a box when I'm done."

Yana purred happily at the memory.  "Mm...  Promises, promises.  Will you get a Yana-doll box made?"

Darryl blinked, then looked off into the distance.  "A box... Hm.  Maybe I should see if your boss can pull that off.  She owes me over the dress."

Yana laughed. "She's a tough bargainer.  If you can 'get' her another dress like that she'd probably do it, though."

Darryl hrmed softly.  "Would I need to be inside the dress, or could we get away with just turning one of your old dresses into that special fabric?  I'm not sure I'm up for that all over again, though perhaps on a closed set..."

Yana drained her teacup and rose to her feet.  "Well, if you're willing to do that just to get me a proper box, the least I can do is try your idea."

Darryl rinsed and put away their dishes while Yana was digging in the tent.  She emerged eventually with a large beach towel, which she spread out at the edge of the lake.

"OK," Yana said, as she posed atop the towel.  "Make me a doll."

Darryl reached toward her with the button and Yana scooted back a bit.  "No, the towel.  Change it and absorb me, like..."  Before she could finish, Darryl had touched the towel.  Yana vanished into the now thick and luxurious towel.  Darryl grinned at his handiwork - printed on the towel was an image of Yana, as she had just been posing.  He stood.  From the right angle it almost looked as if she was still there.

He watched to see if Yana could move, but nothing happened.  Then, after a minute or so, nothing continued to happen.  Eventually, he pulled the button free, and Yana reappeared atop the towel.

"I thought we were going to try the doll shape," Yana complained.

Darryl shrugged.  "This was closer to the duvet form you actually moved in.  Could you move at all?  I didn't see anything."

Yana shook her head.  "Nothing.  Couldn't even figure out how to try, nothing worked."

"Ready to be a doll, then?"  Darryl's hand was perched over the corner of the towel.

"Do it right this time," Yana grumbled, but she couldn't really hide her grin of anticipation.  She was richly rewarded by the feel of the towel absorbing her and her clothes, slowly flowing through her and converting her flesh to rubber.  She would have moaned if she could move... the breeze across her newly exposed 'skin' set her nerves alight.  And Darryl's caresses!  Every touch sent pleasure blazing through her... but she did not move.

And then something awful happened.  Darryl stopped, moving his hand just inches away from her.  She would have screamed in frustration if she could have.  He was so close she could feel the warmth of his skin, but carefully not touching her at all as he ran his hands up and down above her body.  "Just move," he whispered, "and I'll give you everything you want..."

Yana struggled mightily.  She could have sworn she felt a twitch, but... nothing.  She was still swearing at him when her body suddenly became her own again.  As soon as she could move she stripped out of her restored clothes.  Darryl was just staring at her until she growled, "Get down here and finish the damn job, or I'll turn you into something that will."
