One day I may learn to write reasonably-sized stories, but apparently it is not today. This is part two of a the two-part story idea I had in the same world. I intentionally tried to make this part different in tone and feel, in a way, from the first part.
Also, this story was heavily inspired by the works of many others, notably
beachballtf and
red-summer. Both of whom have some truly amazing stories you should read if you enjoyed this one.
