Alienating your friends

TransFun story

"You know, I still don't think that this is a good idea."

My girlfriend rolled her eyes. "Oh my God, Mitch!" Hannah exclaimed slightly annoyed. "What are you afraid of? It's not that we're going lion hunting, or mountain climbing, or shark diving or whatever. It's just a nice movie evening. Popcorn and fun. With friends. Just chill, man."

I swallowed. "Yeah, that's exactly what's bothering me. Our 'friends'. The last few times they invited us to 'fun' I ended up trading my dick for fur!" Even if it was kind of nice... I added silently. Being a mare and a doe hadn't been bad experiences, only unusual ones. And when Hannah had fucked me as this magnificent stallion and stag... blood shot into my head as my dick started twitching, the treacherous organ!

Hannah seemed to have noticed it as well because she giggled and sauntered towards me, hugging me. "Oh, Sweetheart!" she cooed grinning. "Why do you complain? Don't try to deny that you enjoyed it. I know you did! In fact, why don't we take a couple of days off next weekend and spend them at Joan's farm again? How about... a bull and a cow this time? I'm sure you'd make a gorgeous cow!"

Her mischievous eyes seemed to penetrate deep into me. Damn! Her roommate's antics were apparently rubbing off on her. And even worse, the thought seemed to oddly arouse me. Me a plump cow on a meadow, Hannah a massive bull, ready to mount me... Uhh, one plus one is two, two plus two is four... frantically I tried to distract my mind from the treacherous thought.

Hannah laughed brightly. "Oh, don't even try to hide it. I can see that it's turning you on." she chimed. "Actually, that was intended as a joke, but if it sounds interesting to you..."

"Maybe later...?" I asked defeated. "You know, it's just... with you, I'd take every TransFun serum. You I can trust. But with these two..." I shook my head. "I just don't know. They are not wicked, just... a bit over the top. I mean, Joan has been a spider for God's sake! Who changes into a spider?!"

"Accidentally..." my girlfriend put in, but it was only a halfhearted retort. She knew as well as me that Joan had loved the whole experience and even started to experiment with similar crazy forms afterwards.

"As for Trent..." I continued. "I think this eagle transformation he keeps talking about isn't the only change he's done. I'm sure there's... worse stuff. And Joan is just as curious as he is. Combined with this prankster personality of theirs, I'm just scared of them slipping me some crazy transformation into the drink. I mean, the first time he persuaded me into using TransFun, I thought I'd become a stallion. Instead I found myself being a mare. IN HEAT!"

I threw my hands in the air in exasperation, but Hannah only giggled. "Oh, and what a cute mare you've been. Isn't that right, Missy? And after all, this little episode brought us two together..." for a moment, her eyes became watery and she clasped down on my hands smiling happily.

"Um, yeah..." I murmured, a bit embarrassed. Damn it! one voice in my head exclaimed loudly. Are you supposed to be thankful to that prick Trent your changing you into a sex-craved animal? - Sure! It was fun and got you a girlfriend. Another argued and quickly I tried focusing on the problem at hand again. "It's just that I don't want to take a drink and find myself changing into an... earthworm later on!"

"Oh, come on." Hannah huffed. "I'm sure Trent wouldn't-"

"Change you into an earthworm? Me? NEVER! I'm shocked, shocked to hear such mistrust from you!"

Mortified, I whirled around, gaping at Trent's figure standing into the open doorway. He had donned an expression pure innocence. The kind of face an eight-year old showed when he'd just kicked his football through your kitchen window. "My football? Oh no, Sir, you got the wrong kid! I was just innocently enjoying a nice walk." Unbeknownst to me, he must have opened the door while I was facing Hannah. For how long had the jerk been listening? And damn it, why was there such a happy twinkle behind his eyes. It couldn't be...?!

"Trent!" I gasped horrified. "I know that face! Don't tell me I've just given you an idea. Because that's a bad idea, really bad!"

Trent simply laughed. "Oh no, I'd never change you into a tiny earthworm. Really. Come on in, guys!" he said and turned, leaving me behind. I knew that twinkle... I knew it!

Hannah rolled her eyes. "Oh, Mitch. I think you're overreacting. He just told you he isn't changing you into an earthworm, and I'm sure he won't lie to you that openly, so come on inside. And even if he now wanted to, he couldn't. Except TransFun delivers within minutes. There's no way that he has earthworm potion at the ready."

"But... but... but..." I stammered, but Hannah was already through the door. For a few seconds, I hesitated. Then I sighed defeated and followed.

*********************************************

"See? There's popcorn, drinks, a comfy couch, a beautiful girl in your arms - this is going to be a nice evening!" Satisfied, Hannah snuggled herself against me and absentmindedly I stroked her beautiful hair. In fact it really seemed as if this was really only intended as a normal, chill-out movie night with friends by Joan and Trent.

The drinks didn't appear to be spiked with TransFun serum and even Joan and Trent were acting like a normal couple for a change. All in all this really looked to become a promising evening, and by now even I couldn't quite comprehend most of the unnecessary fuzz I'd staged earlier. Although Trent's equipment probably played a part. It wasn't easy to regard an approaching movie evening with apprehension when you were facing a massive flat screen the size of a picnic table, flanked by giant surround sound speakers and a pair of the mightiest subwoofers you had ever seen.

You could say whatever you want, Trent wasn't stinted when it came to spending money on getting the best possible experience out of watching a movie. His equipment was top-notch. So there was really only one point left to straighten out...

"Um... what movie are we watching, anyway?" Hannah quipped. Apparently, she'd asked herself the same question.

Trent grinned. "Oh, I have the ultimate flick to watch with your lover!" he exclaimed with a suspiciously looking smirk. Great, suddenly, the apprehension was back.

"Pretty Woman?" Hannah inquired with beaming eyes, earning herself an amused chuckle by Joan who'd taken her seat next to hear.

"Oh no, better..." he stalked towards the light switch, killing the lights so that the room suddenly was only illuminated by the television screen. "It just happens that I got this awesome collection today!" my friend exclaimed and presented a disc case. It was dark and green and featured a...

"ALIEN?" I gasped shocked. I'd seen the film, of course. Well, who hadn't? It was a classic. And I had nearly shit my pants. Even with lights on. And now he apparently wanted to watch the thing in darkness. Oh. My. Good. "How in all that's holy is that a flick to watch with your lover? I'm sure it scares the hell out the girls!" I complained mortified. Yes, and of me, but that's trivial information nobody needs to know.

"Because there'll be our big, bad boyfriends comforting us!" Joan practically squealed in delight, bringing herself into the discussion and bouncing up and down in obvious anticipation. "Trent, come over here. Because when the scary scenes happen, I'll WRAP myself around your neck!" she giggled. Actually, the girl didn't really make the slightest impression of being scared. Quite the contrary. She rather seemed totally happy that she could play the frightened chick. Well, so be it. Hannah, on the other hand, seemed genuinely distraught by Joan's and Trent's choice of film. She'd definitely flinched when I'd said Alien, so she wouldn't want to watch it-

"Can you put your arm around me?"

"What?" Open mouthed I stared at my girlfriend. She looked at me out of big eyes, a gaze I'd so far associated with people who were looking up towards the rescue helicopter which took the off the burning ship.

Nervously, Hannah fidgeted with her hair. "Horror movies really scare me. And I almost never dare to watch them alone. I know, it's silly-"

"No, it's actually not that-"

"I know that you guys like to watch such flicks, and you probably think that it's really silly of a girl to be freaked out by something like this. But... please bear with me! I don't want to spoil your evening!"

Uhoh... this was going in the totally wrong direction. "You're not spoiling any-" I desperately tried putting in, but Hannah was faster.

"So if you'd hold me tight for the movie, then I think I can watch it." she stared at me out of hoping eyes. "Could you do that please?"

I gulped. Great. Super great. So either I tried comfort my girlfriend without revealing that I'd be just as scared as she - or I'd tell her now that I'm a wimp. Goddamn you, Trent!

"It's alright, honey." I said weakly. "I'll be there for you..."

"Thank you!" Hannah smiled thankfully and cuddled herself even closer to me. Hm... Actually... I thought while my arm slowly crept around her, This isn't half bad.

*********************************************

Breathless, I watched the hunt unfold on the screen, the sounds of the unseen horror looking for prey giving me goosebumps. I could feel the same happening to Hannah in my arms, and gently, I caressed her skin. My girlfriend squeezed my hand in return and snuggled herself a bit closer, other than that, she kept her gaze fixated on the screen. Just like me.

The movie was... intriguing. The last time I had watched it, I had been way too scared to appreciate its art and beauty. Today was different. It was still eerie, but not outright scary. Somehow, Hannah's proximity seemed to give me the mental strength to enjoy the thrill of the spooky flick without actually being scared shitless. And I presumed it was similar for Hannah. For the first time, I really understood why couples often tended to watch horror movies, and I could appreciate it. Seems to be another thing I have to thank Trent for... I thought miffed.

A shadow shoved itself in front of the screen and a bit annoyed I looked at Joan.

"Sorry." the girl twinkled apologizing. "Have to pee!" Swiftly, she moved out of the image. Ha, peeing! I snorted inwardly. Nobody went on the toilet in the middle of the final fight. She was probably just scared and couldn't bear the horror any longer. But that was here problem, not mine, and I focused on the film again.

This remastered version of the classic really was some piece of work. The image was crisp-clear, with just a hint of corning indicating the analog origin of the master. Trent's large screen really seemed to swallow me into the movie, and his speakers were doing its best to push me as well. It really sounded as if the Xenomorph was right behind me, hissing evilly into my ears. It even felt as if its saliva was running down my neck!

I chuckled impressed and reached for my shoulder. Probably just sweat that's running down my temples... On the other hand... there was a lot of sweat. And it was kind of... sticky? Irritated, I looked at my hand. That stuff on it, which had been on my shoulder, didn't look like sweat at all. Rather like some kind of gooey liquid. What the-?

My thoughts crashed to a sudden stop as the scene on the television changed. There was the Xenomorph right in front, but why was its evil hissing then coming from the back speakers? That didn't make any sense. Except... I swallowed. Slowly, ever so slowly, I turned my upper body and head, looking behind me. And went frozen rigid.

Behind the couch, there was a massive figure standing, a good seven feet high. Ridges and strangely exposed muscles defined its body, but it was its head what had made such a profound impact on me. A large, smooth dome curved back into the darkness. There were no eyes. No nose. Not even lips. Instead an exposed jaw, human incisors but beastly canines. It was leaking drool in large streams, trenching the couch in the white liquid I had discovered on my shoulder.

This is impossible! This can't be! A terribly frightened voice uttered in my head, but there was no room for coherent thought. Only for the raw panic of the rabbit facing the lion. I knew this visage. I had seen it. Only moments ago, in the movie. I started to whimper as the horrible maw parted and something began carting out the drooling nightmare. The tongue crept closer and closer and a smaller mouth located right on the tip of it opened as well. It screeched silently and I felt tears beginning to well behind my eyes as this inner jaw rubbed over my cheeks.

I felt Hannah stir in my arms. She'd probably noticed my distress, but I desperately wanted her to keep still. To not move, to not draw the monster's attention to herself. But I couldn't do anything, I was literally a statue, trapped in my own body, frozen by my own fear.

"Honey, what's-?" she asked as she turned and then her eyes fell on the Xenomorph which was still rubbing its inner jaws over my face, leaving trails of gooey saliva. Her eyes went wide. For a split second, she only gaped. And then she reacted exactly the opposite as I had. The sounds of the still playing movie went down in her blood-curdling scream, a scream so terrible that it even broke my temporary paralysis. Almost as one we jumped out of the couch, running towards the door.

My eyes went wide in disbelief as I rattled the door. It was locked. LOCKED! Why was it locked??? A contemptuous snort sounded behind me and I turned just in time to see the Xenomorph jumping over the couch, its tail twitching agitated. The only illumination was the still running television, throwing shadows of the abomination in front of us at the wall and highlighting its vicious, gleaming teeth and claws. The thing went down on all fours and started snarling loudly. Drool leaked out of its maw and gathered in a rapidly growing puddle on the floor.

Okay... I thought numbly as it started rattling out its inner jaw again, the tiny maw on the tip of the tongue snapping open and shut threateningly. It's been a good life so far, but now it's over... Protectively, I put myself in front of Hannah and between her and the Xenomorph. It wouldn't matter in the end, but I didn't want to die a wimp who couldn't protect his girlfrie-

WHAM. Suddenly, there was light, and annoyed the Xenomorph retracted its inner jaws with a loud bang, then turned and 'looked' at Trent who was standing on the other side of the room near the light switch and glowered back. "That's enough!" he said sternly. "Stop before one of the two trashes my living room in fear! And stop drooling! I have no idea if that stuff is washable!"

With a shocked gurgle, I stared at Trent, unbelieving of what he'd just done. There was a monster in his living room and all he cared about were his carpets. The Xenomorph's drool wouldn't damage the carpets as much as his gore would if he'd called the monster's attention on himself! Shouldn't he be more worried about his girlfriend? Joan was still in the kitchen, probably unaware of the peril we were in, but contrary to us, she still may had a chance to surrender, so if he'd warn her- Wait a moment!

Suddenly, my eyes bulged wide out of their sockets. Where the hell had the monster come from? And a Xenomorph to booth! There was only one sensible reason for a fictional monster popping up in Trent's living room. And that required some deliberate, human action. Which would be an explanation for Joan's absence right now. Of course I'd known that close proximity to Trent would taint her, but I'd never thought that she'd do something like this...

A shocked gasp from behind me indicated that Hannah hat reached the same conclusion I had. "You have to be kidding me!" my girlfriend exclaimed unbelievingly. "Joan? Is that you?"

Immediately, the Xenomorph focused its attention on us once more. Again a stab of terrible fear went through my body as its horrible, saliva-glistering maw pointed at me once more, but it was nothing compared to the loud groan of comprehension I involuntarily let loose as the monster made a 'thumbs up' gesture with one of its claws. In the next moment, its other hand launched a tiny, metallic object at me and I stared at the key to the door we were standing before bouncing onto the carpet in front of us.

The Xenomorph, or rather Joan, made a disconcerting, choppy snarl which probably was its way of laughing. Not that the fact that she was still launching drool all over the place made the whole motion any less frightening.

"Joan, dammit!" Trent cursed again. "Stop drooling!" Joan only shrugged her impressive shoulders. "Don't tell me you can't!" Trent groaned. "Why did you take the stuff now anyway? I thought we'd wait until later. Oh, just let me get you a towel..." Within seconds, he'd collected the key from the floor, opened the door and disappeared into the bathroom, leaving Hannah and me alone with Joan. Of course Hannah had told me of Joan's adventure as a spider. And although I absolutely despised spiders, you could at least squash them if they got to close to you. Try to squash that.

Hannah apparently seemed to think similarly. "Oh Joan, when you turn back... I'm so gonna kill you..." she murmured, me nodding in silent agreement. Joan didn't seem to be impressed, though. Instead she simply reared up again and bared the second jaw she'd used to torment me earlier. Yeah. That would become one fun evening...

*************************************************

"So you thought it would be fun to first watch the Alien movies and then turn into some Aliens of your own, that's the gist of it?" Hannah asked critically.

Trent simply shrugged. "Yeah, that was the plan. Although we didn't plan on taking it right now. But my girlfriend seems to have developed different plans..." he looked to the side of the table where Joan was cowering. Her new tail and physique had left her incapable of sitting on a chair, but her impressive size meant that even in a crouch her head was at eye level.

The Xenomorph hissed in response, an evil, piercing sound which let me shiver involuntarily. No doubt Joan hadn't intended it as anything more than a dismissive snort, but her new body transformed even the most harmless motions into terrifying threats. The potion she had taken had done quite amazing work and transformed her into the spitting image of the Alien franchise's namesake. From the greenish hue of her ridged, biomechanical skin to the smooth, eyeless dome of her head, from the blade of her tail to the teeth in her face, Joan was a nightmare become true.

The potion had even taken care of such details as the Alien's permanent drool, and even now saliva was steadily trickling down her bare teeth and chin onto an already thoroughly soaked towel Trent had provided. Either the TransFun developers were perfectionists or the film studio which had sold them the rights for the Xenomorph potion had demanded to get the most realistic looking transformation possible.

"Hey, don't hiss like this, you're making Mitch piss into his pants!" Trent countered his girlfriends threatening behavior with a grin and my feeble protest vanished as a gurgle without leaving my mouth as Joan swiftly and purposefully swerved her head around to 'fixate' me. The fact that there weren't any eyes on this smooth head of hers, only the terrible maw, made the sight all the more horrid.

Like the mouse hypnotized by the snake I found myself frozen with fear, staring at Joan's hellish face from only a few inches away. Slowly, very slowly her teeth parted, the drool now large streams flowing down her exposed bones. And then, with an unsettling, rattling sound her inner jaws carted out, the tiny mouth on the muscled tongue snapping closed and shut, coming closer and closer, and still I couldn't move even a finger.

Thankfully, Hannah came to my rescue. "Stop it already, you're acting like a six-year-old who has a new toy!" she cursed and with a sullen snort, Joan's inner jaws shot back into the cavity of her mouth again. The moment Joan averted her 'gaze', I was the master of my body again and collapsed into a sweating bundle. Soothingly, Hannah stroke my hair and whispered something into my ear, but my thoughts were somewhere else.

Because unfortunately, Hannah probably was right. This body was like a new toy for Joan, and if it was about transformations, she really had the mindset of a six-year old. Which meant that the rest of the evening would become even more 'interesting' that I'd thought... or rather feared.

"You just decided to take the potion a bit earlier to scare us, am I right?" my girlfriend said now accusingly, and Joan responded with her choppy version of a laugh again.

"Yeah, just you laugh." Hannah glowered back. "I'll definitely get back at you... meanwhile..." she looked at me and Trent questioningly. "...so what do we do about our movie evening now?"

Trent raised an eyebrow. "Um, what do you mean?"

Hannah furrowed her brows. "I thought we wanted to watch some movies together. But with Joan in that state-" she motioned at the Xenomorph who hissed menacingly, sending me nearly into shock once more, "-that's out of the window, right?"

A thin smile appeared on Trent's lips. "Wrong!" he said confidently. "I don't see the problem!"

My eyes flew wide open as I realized what he probably had in mind. No! He couldn't be serious! But my friend wasn't paying attention to my distress. Or probably the jerk was paying close attention and that's why...

"Let's just continue." he said, confirming my apprehension. "All four of us watching a movie together. Sure, Joan looks a bit different, but where's the problem? You're still yourself, right, honey?"

Joan nodded first vigorously and then let her inner jaws shoot out of her maw to emit an unworldly shriek. That even fazed Hannah who was used to Joan being all kinds of strange creatures.

"You mean..." she gasped, looking at the drooling Xenomorph, "-that we should continue watching a movie? Watching the Aliens movie? In the dark. With Joan like this sitting among us?"

Trent grinned. "Yep. Except this is a bit too much for you... or is it?" an evil smile curled around his lips and I was close to tears now. He was hitting all of Hannah's button. She never flinched from a challenge. But please, only this one time... I pleaded silently, let her step down only this one time! I didn't care that Joan was inside this evil monster. And if it would house the mind of Mother Theresa, there was absolutely no way that I could survive more than twenty seconds in a dark room next to this drooling abomination without turning mad!

Sadly, my wishes went unheard. "Of course not!" Hannah shot back with a scowl towards Joan, and I slumped in my chair like a bag full of misery. "I'm already looking forward to seeing Ripley kicking Alien asses! Are you?"

*************************************************

Of course Hannah didn't took the spot on the couch next to Joan. In fact, she made sure to to position herself in such a way, that my body was directly between her and Joan's glistering, green skin. Her tail made it impossible for her to sit on normal furniture, so she'd hunkered down in a crouch behind the couch in such a way that her clawed hands and head were deposited on the armrest, right between me and Trent.

It was the most gripping movie session of my life, and Joan did her uttermost to make it as 'intriguing' as possible. Three times during the first hour of aliens she managed to send me darting through the room in terror by hissing into my ear with her inner jaw or stroking my neck with her needle-sharp tail. She tried doing the same to her boyfriend, and although he somehow accomplished not breaking down into a terrified, gibbering wreck, I could see streams of sweat running down his temples each time Joan tried her terrifyingly real-looking acts of the bloodthirsty monstrosity.

Strangely enough, she let Hannah mostly alone. Perhaps she didn't want to spoil things with her roommate. Whatever the reason, the inches-close presence of a real, live, drooling Xenomorph had had something like a numbing effect on me. By now, well into Alien³, I'd grown accustomed to Joan's dreadful shape. I still feared her, it was just that the fear had become something normal to me. Probably like all these battle-hardened GI's out of a Hollywood World War 2 movie. They didn't flinch at the sounds of shells exploding next to them either.

Since Trent showed a similar progress in coping with his girlfriend's transformation, Joan's snarls and hisses barely provoked a visible reaction anymore, a development which clearly frustrated the large Xenomorph. I had no idea how I could ascribe moods to that unworldly visage of hers, but somehow I had gotten the impression that she was bored, following the movie on the television screen (God only knows how she managed to watch a movie with no eyes) sullenly. If she followed it at all.

Which clearly should have been warning sign number one. An idle mind is the devil's workshop, after all. But since she wasn't actively threatening me right now, I welcomed her sudden passiveness. I wasn't the only who'd noticed her sudden lack of interest, though.

"Hey, you look bored!" Hannah said with a wide grin, by now apparently more at ease with Joan's appearance than me. Joan only snarled out of two jaws, then pointed at the television with a clawed finger and made a contemptuous gesture. 'I'm way cooler than these wannabee-aliens in there' it was supposed to mean, probably.

Hannah laughed. "Whatever you say. Still, if you don't like the movie... then would care getting us something to drink?" she raised an empty glass. "We're out of coke and beer!"

For a few seconds, Joan looked affronted. I even could sympathize. She, the natural hunter, evilest bio-weapon around, which'd give the Hound of the Baskervilles a run for its money, and now she should do such a menial task as serving drinks? Then, though, something changed, and she made a thumbs-up gesture before going down on all fours and disappearing towards the kitchen in a sleek, lethal graze.

Which should have been warning number two, this one with sirens and flashing stroboscopic lights. It was clear that she was Up To Something, but unfortunately, I was so pleased with her (temporary) absence, that I simply shut down the logical sectors of my brain.

A couple of minutes later, Joan reappeared again and, even more curiously, even began to pour us our drinks, a sight so unreal and hilarious that Hannah broke down into a spasmic giggle. She was the only one who could appreciate the irony of the menace of all humanity handling a bottle, though. Trent and me were more occupied with evading Joan's agitated swishing tail.

Which should have been the final warning, together with her sudden helpfulness. Who had said that he feared the Danaans, even when they bore gifts? I couldn't remember, but it was too late anyway. Amused, Hannah watched the Xenomorph scurry off and then, as the first of us three humans, took it to her lips and poured it down in one gulp. But suddenly she coughed and looked at the glass.

"Urg!" she exclaimed disgusted. "What was that? That tasted like salt with soda... Joan, what did you...?" The Xenomorph, who'd taken its position behind the couch again, hissed evilly, its 'gaze' fixated on Hannah.

Uhoh... I thought with a sinking feeling in my stomach. Something isn't right here... isn't right at all... I looked back and forth between Joan and Hannah, the latter still coughing from the unexpected beverage, when I suddenly spotted a peculiar detail at my girlfriend.

"Hannah!" I gasped horrified. "Your... hands!"

"My hands?" she asked clueless and then looked at her finger, letting loose a sudden shriek. They were getting larger, with the nails curving out to form something like talons... and that wasn't the only change. Her whole skin seemed to start developing a darker tint, almost... greenish. Not only that, but her frame was also becoming bigger, already stretching her clothes.

Trent was gaping as well. "Joan..." he cursed. "Don't tell me-"

"JOAN!" Hannah's shriek was full of fury, already with an bestial undertone. She'd jumped up from the couch and stared at the still cheerfully hissing Xenomorph in rage. "I can't believe you did what I just think you did!"

She wasn't alone with that sentiment. I had already seen what this TransFun potion would turn her into, Joan was the perfect example. And the thought of my girlfriend becoming that made my cringe internally. Unfortunately, I couldn't do anything and so I was forced to watch as the transformation stripped away Hannah's humanity and replaced it with something entirely else.

With tearing sounds her expanding body ripped her clothing apart, the green skin which became visible below already showing ridges and open spines. Hannah growled in frustration as her boots first were pierced by several claws and then literally exploded away to make room for the massive, dangerous feet she now possessed.

"I liked that boots!" she spat, and I gasped in horror as I noticed that she'd already lost her lips, her teeth being exposed to the open. "You're going to pay for this! And thanks to your stunt, in a few seconds I will have just the right body to give you a lesson in why you should never transform me against my will!"

Slowly, but steadily I stepped back from my changing girlfriend. Joan had already been scary enough, but her rage had been played. Hannah's, though... By now, the transformation was rapidly speeding and all traces of her formerly lovely face vanished as her skull shaped out into a long dome, her eyes disappearing below smooth, glistering, green skin. Within moments, Hannah's human body had been replaced by a beast's.

And then the transformation was finished. I couldn't, wouldn't, didn't want to believe my eyes, but it had happened. In the middle of a heap of tattered clothes, of Hannah's tattered clothes, a massive Xenomorph stood, undiscernible from Joan's form. Hannah raised her clawed hands, apparently inspecting them in front of her head. She opened and closed her fingers, and then 'looked' at Joan, the other Xenomorph, who was still amused by the whole happening.

I started to shiver involuntarily as slowly, all so slowly, Hannah opened her dreadful, drooling maw. And in the next moment, her inner jaws shot out and she voiced a horrible, inhuman shriek at Joan. The other Xenomorph simply huffed and then went down on all fours, shrieking back with all its might as well. Apparently, Joan was thinking this was some kind of game. But as far as I could interpret my girlfriend's moves inside that terrible body, she was serious! If those two were going at it hammer and tongs, or rather teeth and claws, in here, Trent's living room wouldn't survive it... and we neither!

Trent was apparently thinking the same, because somehow he'd managed to yank himself free from the sight of the two battle-ready monsters and tip-toed over to the window-side of the room.

"Um, ladies..." he stuttered with wide open eyes and slid open the large garden door. "...it would be nice if you'd settle your quarrel outside in-" He didn't even come further. With a lightning-quick move, Joan turned and jumped through half of the room, right through the now open door. Trent barely managed to evade the onrushing mass of muscles, teeth and claws by a jump of his own. The motion seemed to have taken Hannah by surprise, because she simply stood there, drooling and motionless for half a second. Then, though, she voiced a furious snarl of her own, setting after her fleeing friend. Hannah didn't take any longer to clear the room than Joan had, and suddenly, Trent and me were alone in the living room, the still-running television providing some kind of eerie lightning.

I swallowed, and then slowly walked towards the open door, staring out into the dark. I couldn't see anything at all, only schemes, but the furious snarls and shrieks, utterly inhuman and bestial in nature, coming out from the battleground spoke volumes. Nervously, I licked my lips. "Um... what are we going to do now...?" I asked. "Shouldn't we try to stop them...?"

"Stop them?" Trent asked back, his eyes just as wide as mine. "THEM?" he pointed into the dark. "Like they are now? Good luck with that! I value my life!"

I swallowed again, and then started to move out into the garden. I'd barely done a couple of steps as another, furious snarl rang out, accompanied by something which sounded like plough ripping apart a tree. I froze, and quickly I retreated back into the room again.

"On second glance... I think your proposal has merits." I murmured shocked, and Trent slowly nodded.

"Oh, yes..." My friend looked into the darkness. "Let's just hope they'll be finished soon." Another snarl sounded, answered immediately by a second, just as enthusiastic one and Trent sighed. "Let me get a set of cards... do you play Poker?"

"Don't forget chairs and a table." I answered glumly. "And booze..."

*********************************************

In the end, we barely managed to finish a couple of games before the girls decided to settle down and returned to the garden door. Although 'girls' was a bit far-fetched a description for the current states of affairs. Let me tell you one thing - when there are two Xenomorphs peeling themselves out of the darkness, with gleaming teeth and eerie green skin, there's nothing remotely girlish about them.

Both Trent and me gaped at the two squabblers. From the look of it, they'd gone at each other hammer and tongs, just like I'd feared - both sported several bleeding gashes, but thankfully I couldn't spot any serious injuries. Not that these weren't serious - at least to normal humans like me. The strange sizzling and the searing fumes rising up each time a bit of their greenish blood dripped on the grass indicated that TransFun had gone all the way to make their Xenomorphs as 'real' as possible - acid blood including. Touching them now would become a very unpleasant experience - not that I had any inclination of doing so.

Trent managed to regain his composure first. "Um..." he said, his gaze alternating between the two creatures. "Have you two... made up... after your... falling out?"

The right Xenomorph started a chopped snarl, just like Joan had before when she'd supposedly laughed, so that was probably her. The left Xenomorph snarled as well, although a bit annoyed, underscoring my assumption that left had to be my girlfriend. Nonetheless, both nodded, Joan even a bit too eagerly so that Trent had to dive to the ground to evade an acid blood drop flying in his direction.

"Hey!" he cursed wide-eyed, "Be careful with that stuff, that's dangerous!"

Obviously amused by the reaction, Joan snarl-chuckled again, but this time she made sure not to spray us with her body fluids. By now, I'd finally been able to overcome my inhibitions.

"You okay in there...?" I asked Hannah the monster a bit anxious. "I know that it's probably really scary to suddenly have such a-" I broke off mid-sentence as she swiveled her head in my direction. Her bleak teeth were apart half an inch, and there was just enough light for me to see her inner jaw moving behind. I still couldn't believe that this monster was actually my cute girlfriend Hannah!

For a few seconds, she simply 'stared' at me. Then, though, she shrugged and gave me a clawed thumbs-up. Next to me, Trent exhaled as well. "Phew!" he exclaimed with obvious relief. "That's good to hear. Listen, we, well, at least not me, hadn't planned on tricking you into becoming a Xenomorph. It had been supposed to be a voluntary thing, we wanted to ask you after the movies... but then my horrible girlfriend here-" Joan snarl-chuckled at the obvious, bitter pun "-apparently decided to change the script. It's just..." he fished for the right words, "...that I hope there's no hard feelings no? I'm sure you know Joan as well as me, she's your roommate after all, and sometimes, she acts a bit... rash."

Wow, he really has cojones. I marveled at Trent's speech. Criticizing your girlfriend while she was in the body of a big, scary, alien bio-weapon took guts. Joan snarled loudly, apparently offended by Trent's openness, but Hannah immediately intervened, bestowing such a livid, blood-curdling and murderous hiss on her, with snapping inner jaw and stuff, that Joan shut her mouth with an audible click and looked at the other Xenomorph in consternation.

Hannah pointed at Joan, shrugged again, tapped her forehead in a very distinctive gesture, much to Joan's dismay, but then started to twist her maw to a dreadful, threatening appearance which either meant that she wanted to eat us all, probably unlikely (although I wasn't that sure...), or should be the attempt on a smile. And next, she even started to pat Joan's shoulder.

"Ah!" Trent suddenly beamed. "I understand! Joan's a pain in the ass sometimes, but she's also a friend and while her pranks are annoying, they are part of what you love in her?"

Amazed, I looked at Trent as my girlfriend confirmed his translation with thumbs-up, impervious to Joan's indignant growl. "Wow!" I exclaimed. "You're really good at speaking Xenomorph. How did you know?"

Trent grinned back. "Because it's the same for me... and... uh... oh..." Suddenly, the trepidation and sweat was back in his face and slowly I turned as I heard a frightening growl behind me. Joan had gone to a four-limbed stance, her tail swishing back and forth in agitation. Apparently, she didn't quite approve of her boyfriend's agreement with Hannah's assessment of her personality.

"Um... honey..." he fluted in obvious distress, "Don't understand me wrong, I love you, with all the flaws which make you to what you are...!"

Which is, at least at the moment, a Xenomorph... I thought as I took a couple of steps back from Trent. And since Joan now extended her hissing and snipping inner jaw as well, his attempts at appeasement had obviously failed their mark. Well, I wouldn't intervene there. Of course a good friend won't insert himself into his best friend's lover's quarrel. Oh no, that was a private thing between him and Joan, and I'd fully respect his privacy.

"Guys, I'm going to my girlfriend Hannah here!" I said and pointed to the other Xenomorph who observed the unfolding scene like a bored dog. "Just take all the time you need in settling this!"

Trent's mouth went open and close without making a sound. He looked at me, then at his snarling girlfriend, back to me and then... he simply turned and darted back into the house. Joan gave him a good head start, at least a couple of seconds. And then she charged after him.

*********************************************

"You didn't have to ravish me with that tail of yours..." Trent grumbled sullenly while he held his arm. Although 'ravish' was a bit of an overstatement. He'd barely suffered more than a tiny scratch at his elbow, and Joan had immediately stopped her hunt when she'd realized that she'd actually made contact with her boyfriend's soft skin. Demurely, the Xenomorph now dipped its head, a motion so hilarious that it made me giggle for a few seconds until Joan's sour 'gaze' let me shut up at once.

In the end, Joan had settled upon giving her boyfriend a good scare with her body and chasing him all over the property, but it was clear that she hadn't planned to lay a claw (or jaw) on him. This was a bit strange, considering the condition she and Hannah had been into after their crazy fight, but if you thought about it, it was obvious. TransFun potions automatically protected their users, so if you got into danger while you were transformed, the TransFun potion immediately triggered the change back into your original form - devoid of any injuries and damages you suffered while transformed. So the two of them had been able to cheerfully slay at each other without any real danger. But Trent, as an unchanged human, didn't have that extra protection, hence her caution.

"Stop that puppy dog look!" Trent scolded his transformed girlfriend, although I wasn't able to spot anything of the kind in the drooling monster's hideous excuse for a face. "It may work when you're a horse, or a stag, but you're a Xenomorph right now!" He sighed and then looked at me, changing the topic. "Have you decided?" he asked. "Because I, for sure, will do it."

I gulped, then looked at the table where the other two glasses Joan had poured were sitting - containing the rest of the Xenomorph transformation potion. Joan and Trent had planned to transform all along and then explore the woods, test out their bodies, brain a deer... stuff which probably are normal to you when you are a seven feet Xenomorph. And as good friends they'd wanted to offer the same experience to us as well. And since Joan had already taken hers, Trent wanted to join her as a creature out of movie fiction as soon as possible. Which only left me.

I could either become a drooling, terrifying monstrosity which would haunt me in my dreams for a long time to come. Or I could stay the only human among three drooling, terrifying monstrosities which would haunt me in my dreams for a long time to come. Awesome. An annoyed hiss by Hannah yanked me out of my thoughts and I looked at her, the Xenomorph she was baring its teeth, both sets of them, and making a dismissive gesture towards the table.

"Hey, Mitch, that sounds like a 'Stop whining and take the potion already!'" my friend snickered and Hannah nodded.

I gulped again. "So you're actually saying that being like... this-" I gestured at her scary looking body "-is fun? That you like it and want me to join in?" Again, Hannah nodded, this time even giving me an encouraging thumbs-up gesture (as encouraging as a monster showing you its claws could be at least), and silently I stared at her.

"Oh, fuck it!" I cursed and reached for the table, grabbing the nearest glass. "It's only for a night and I don't want to be the only human left among three Xenomorphs... Cheers!" and with that, ignoring Trent's and Joan's sudden cries and hisses, I downed the disgusting tasting stuff. Repulsed I threw the glass away. Hannah had been right, this stuff really tasted like... wait a moment. Why had Trent and Joan protested?

Slowly, I looked at my friend who stared at me out of big eyes. Uhoh... somehow... I wasn't liking that gaze. Joan looked equally stunned. "Don't tell me..." I said dangerously soft while I already felt my body starting to change, "...that I just downed the wrong vial."

"Um..." Trent swallowed. "I expected you to change out of your clothes first... and then I'd have given you a glass... because that... was mine!"

"Does it make a difference?" I groaned while I already felt my shirt tearing as I became bigger. "You wanted us all to become Xenomorphs, didn't you? Shouldn't all potions be the same...?" My trousers ripped with a loud crack as my backbone elongated into a new tail. Maybe Trent had been right in that regard that I should have disrobed earlier...

Beads of sweat started to appear on Trent's face. "Not... exactly..." he stammered and took a step back. As did both of the Xenomorphs... who I already topped by over a head?!?! Why am I already bigger than them? I asked myself with gibbering thoughts. I'm not even a third Xenomorph yet? What the hell was I becoming?

"Actually... that was supposed to be Joan's potion." Trent confessed now while my hands shifted into massive claws. Additionally to a second set of arms which seemed to develop at my chest.

"What... the... hell?" I asked shocked as I started to move the unfamiliar, strange limbs, although the last part of the statement became an unintelligible growl as my mouth shifted into something less suited for talking. I was already a dozen feet high and still growing.

Trent nervously licked his lips, the last thing I saw with my human eyes as they disappeared into the smooth, expanding carapace of my head. "But when Joan decided to scare you and Hannah, she probably didn't took her potion because it would have made her way too large for the room and therefore the prank. As you see now." He laughed insecurely. "That's why I wanted to claim the potion for myself, but... guess who comes first gets served first."

That still doesn't tell me what I'm becoming! I cursed inwardly while I recoiled in horror and awe alike at the strange senses which suddenly more than compensated for my loss of eyesight. No wonder Hannah liked being a Xenomorph when you basically could hear and feel every ant on the ground! Well, to be fair, I already suspected what I was becoming... my massive size, the additional set of arms at my chest, the giant carapace I started to develop... all of it together was a pretty good hint of the new body I would soon possess.

"It's actually quite funny..." Trent confirmed my guess now with a queasy voice. "Whatever you turn into, you always seem to become a female." But there was fear hovering behind his words, and I didn't blame him. While Hannah and Joan had already been frightening as normal Xenomorph drones, my form must be awe-inspiring. My changes came to stop, leaving me at 20 feet of height, and for a few seconds, I remained motionlessly. Then, I exhaled loudly, my breath forming a cloud of vapor in the cool air of the night.

Now I understood why Hannah had liked her body! This was power, pure, raw power! The influx of my new senses was intoxicating, even though there was no sight, I felt like an omniscient God. It was hard to find a proper comparison, but the once dark surroundings suddenly were as alive as a county fair, crawling with life and activity. The other two Xenomorphs seemed just as awestruck by my transformation as Trent, although my perception had rapidly shifted. Suddenly, they weren't scary monsters any more, but instead something more like... children. And Trent...

I swiveled my massive head around, focusing on the shivering, puny being in front of me. It... he... was prey. Simply that. Of course I still knew that it was my friend, but every fiber in my large body screamed at me that he was prey, nothing more. Altogether a quite interesting feeling. I'd have liked to grinned, but since I was incapable of doing so right now, I opted for the next best thing. I opened my fanged maw, fully aware of the amounts of drool running down my teeth and extended my long tongue. No wonder Joan had liked doing this to me - it was totally intriguing having such a weapon sitting in your mouth.

Trent started to shake uncontrolled as my tongue with the slavering inner jaws came closer, and I bathed in his fear as I let it snap open and shut a few times, adding a few hisses for effect while my second pair of arms twitched slightly. It had been his girlfriend and not him who had tormented me the whole evening, but since he'd provided the potions, it was his responsibility as well. Plus I had longed to get back at him for the mare stunt he'd pulled on me for a long time. And now I was in the body of a massive Xenomorph Queen, a creature that nightmarish that even the bravest man on earth would piss in his pants if he'd find himself face to face with one, and I was determined to use this body to the fullest.

There was something strange, though. I'd have expected his girlfriend to come to his rescue. Why didn't she...? With a dismissive snort I averted my gaze from the sobbing wimp, retracted my inner jaws with a loud click and curiously looked at the other two Xenomorph. They just... looked at me. Like dogs. No... that was the wrong characterization. The regarded me like devout puppies, and somehow, I felt some kind of connection with them. Could it be...?

I decided to test my theory and concentrated, and in the next moment, Joan darted forwards, scrambling up the balcony and onto the roof of her house. It didn't took longer than a couple of seconds, then she stood on the building and keenly sampled her surroundings, but at the same time, I could feel her consternation and mystification at the sudden movement at least she hadn't planned on doing. That is until I had ordered her. This is awesome! I thought impressed. I had ordered her to get up that roof. With nothing more than the flick of a thought. And Joan had followed my command immediately, without question. Just like a good drone follows its Queen's imperative.

<Come back down!> I ordered her, and just as swiftly as before she scrambled down from her observation post. Actually, there was no real communication between us. It was not language I directed to her, only simple imperatives. And all I got back from her were emotions. Which was fine with me. For tonight, she was my tool, and I was her Queen she was bound to obey.

I heard a ripping noise and a third link establishing, and turned just in time to see a third Xenomorph drone bursting out of the clothes Trent had worn. So he'd decided to use my occupation with testing out my newfound psychic powers to escape being prey and instead join the pack? No problem to me. Unbeknownst, he'd just joined my swarm and just like the other two, I felt how he slipped under my firm control.

So I'm the Queen and they are my pawns for the night... I mused while I let my three drones spread out with the flicker of a thought, the easiness of ordering them around impressing me. Then I started moving towards the forest, my maw drooling in anticipation of what was bound to come. Trent and Joan had wanted to hunt in these bodies, hadn't they? And now I felt an incredible urge to hunt on my own. With my size, it probably would be next to impossible to catch a swift deer, though. But that wasn't an obstacle. I had my drones, after all...

In pleasant anticipation, I extended my inner jaws again. There was no need for me to get close to deer. Instead, I could use my drones to herd them to me. Another command, and all three of them started swarming out, intent on finding suitable prey. I could feel their bloodlust over our link, among with frustration that I didn't grant them the freedom to kill. Nonetheless, they'd not go against the imperatives of their Queen and obey my commands faithfully. They'd not harm a deer's hair before I'd allow them to, despite their desire to test their bodies as well.

That was quite the punishment for them, possessing such potent bodies and yet being unable to test them to their full potential. Well, not all of them deserved punishment, though... I probably don't need all three of them... I thought slightly ruefully and released Hannah from her geas. An exhilarating sense of joy flowed back over our connection as I granted her the freedom to hunt and kill for herself. At the same time, I felt Trent and Joan longing for the same gift.

Oh, no! I contemplated with a satisfied snarl. Those two still had to learn a lesson! I was already looking forward to the moment when I'd be able to test the power of this body against real prey they'd herd towards me. And I already knew how much pleasure I'd take out of devouring prey in front of them while they had to watch passively. They knew it as well, but there was no way for them to defy my orders. Among with their frustration, our link conversed the unconditional obedience our new biology of them as drones and me as their Queen dictated. I would order and they would obey. It was as easy as that. And who knew? Maybe I'd allow them to hunt for their own pleasure... later. For now, I'd just enjoy this body to the fullest.
