Kayla checked to make sure she had remembered everything before zipping her backpack shut. Now all that was left was to wait for her turn in the shower.

It was Kayla's first day of college and she was anxious to get through it even though the first day was likely going to be nothing but going over course syllabi. She had let her new roommate, Holly, use the shower in the small bathroom connected to their dorm room first, since her first class began at an earlier time.

With nothing to do but wait until Holly finished up, Kayla's attention wandered over to Holly's side of the room. The two young women had gotten along well enough so far, but still didn't get to know each other much over the move-in weekend with all the chaos of unpacking and being herded to introductory events. As a result, Kayla's eyes wandered over Holly's possessions curiously to see if she could learn anything about her new roommate.

On her bed laid the pile of clothes she had set aside to wear for the day. Next to the pile of clothes, a book sat wide open. The book caught Kayla's attention. She had seen Holly reading it the night before. Curious as to what her roommate's taste in reading material was, Kayla decided to take a look.

Kayla definitely was not expecting what was on those pages. The book was written as if it were a book of magic, listing spells and describing how to perform them. "Okay, so she is into fantasy," Kayla thought. Nonetheless, she was intrigued. The page the book was open to was describing what the text claimed was a disguise spell, used for spying and hiding. According to the book, it worked by making one's physical body vanish and attaching the user's consciousness to an object directly in the user's line of sight when the incantation is spoken.

Kayla looked up from the book and chuckled. It was a fun read, but at the same time, hard to take seriously. "Yeah right," she found herself saying softly. "Like something crazy like that would happen just by me saying 'Amiticus.'"

Kayla's vision went blurry and her mind went blank. She found herself staring up at the tile ceiling of the dorm room as her wits slowly returned to her. Confused as to what had happened, she tried to sit up but found that she couldn't. All of her attempts to move resulted in nothing. Wondering why, she realized that she felt...strange. All feeling in her body was spread out in a shape that didn't at all feel like herself.

Before she could ponder this any further, the door to the bathroom opened and Kayla could see Holly emerge out of the corner of her vision covered by a towel. Holly looked around the room for a bit before calling out.

"You still here Kayla? The shower's all yours!" Kayla tried to respond but found that whatever had just happened to her had also robbed her of her voice. Holly shrugged, wandered closer to where Kayla was lying, and unwrapped the towel that was covering her, letting it fall next to where Kayla was now lying.

"How does she not see me?" Kayla wondered frantically. Here she was unable to move or speak, and now her roommate was standing naked over her. Holly was now all Kayla could see, and she was beside herself with fear, confusion and embarrassment. Holly picked up something next to where Kayla was stuck lying and as she lifted it up it moved into Kayla's vision as well.

It was the strange book that Kayla had found on Holly's bed. In her worry over her sudden immobility, she had forgotten about it. Then she remembered what she had read about the spell used to conceal one's consciousness in an object. It was then that Kayla's situation had a possible explanation.

"No, that's not possible," she thought. There's no way uttering a single word had caused her mind to now be looking at the world from inside an inanimate object. The idea seemed utterly implausible. Yet, the more she thought about it, the more it made sense. It would explain why she couldn't move, why she no longer felt like she had a human shape, and why Holly didn't notice her lying there. Accepting it as a possibility, Kayla was now left to wonder what object she currently has for a body. She guessed that she was lying on Holly's bed based on where Holly had picked the book up from. The only other things she had see on Holly's bed, besides the book was the assortment of clothes Holly had set aside for the day.

Before Kayla could think about it any further, Holly reached her hand out and grabbed her. Kayla was greatly disturbed at how her unfamiliar form folded in Holly's grip. As she was lifted, she was able to catch a glimpse of the mirror hanging on the back of the door, finally revealing what she was now stuck as.

In Holly's hand, was a pair of lilac colored panties. Kayla couldn't believe what she was seeing. This had to be a dream. Kayla was snapped out of her denial by Holly gripping her with her other hand and stretching her out. The sensation of being stretched like this was unlike any feeling she'd ever had. It made her fully aware that her physical being was now in the shape of a woman's undergarment.

Holly lowered Kayla's stretched out form bringing Kayla to the horrifying realization of what was coming next. "No please stop!" She thought futilely. "Don't...." she couldn't even bear to think the words "wear me." Holly remained oblivious to all of this though. She slid her legs through the two holes that Kayla was now all too aware of in the bottom of her new form. Less than a second later, Kayla was closer than she ever wanted to be too her new roommate.

There was no mistaking that her predicament was real now. Kayla could feel every curve of Holly's lower body. Her womanhood pressed below where Kayla's vision was now fixed. Robbed of all ability to move or speak, she was being worn just like any ordinary pair of underwear.

Holly picked up a pair of shorts from her pile of clothes and before Kayla knew it, the shorts were pulled over her, plunging her into darkness and leaving her with only the sensations of Holly moving. Holly pulled on the rest of her outfit, unaware that her roommate was frantically screaming for an escape from inside her shorts. She checked herself in the mirror before picking up her bag and heading out to her first day of class.

As Holly left the dorm building, Kayla determinedly shouted "Amiticus!" in her mind. She had no idea that if she had turned the page of the book, the incantation to release the spell would have been at the top of the next page.
