This is set in the same world as "The Girl With the Magical Head." I'm calling this series the Rift Stories. I'm hoping to find a way to meld my interest in these sorts of 'weird/silly' stories about Girl and Guys losing body parts with more 'literary' stuff. <br /><br />As chronology goes, this takes place before the other story, just as people are first beginning to emerge from the rift and before it's really accepted by most people.
