Misc Unfinished Snippets Vol 1

For the sake of content that some might enjoy (or might even inspire others), here’s a number of unfinished snippets that for one reason or another I lost momentum on.

As advertised, they do not have real endings and just

Brain Shift

“Do you like them?” said Katy. She pushed her chest forward into Josh’s face. She had just taken her shirt off.

“Of course,” said Josh, taking two greedy handfuls. “They’re … awesome.”

“I knowww,” said Katy. “They feel so gooooodd…”

“You doing okay?” asked Josh, with a raised eye brow.

“Of course,” said Katy with a happy sigh. “I’m doing great.”

She leaned in again towards his hands.

“It’s just…” said Josh. “You seem um… a little different.”

“Because I got bigger boobs,” said Katy, licking her lips.

“Well yes,” said Josh. “But normally when you do some mad science stuff like this, you are like, super eager to explain it all to me.”

“Oh right,” said Katy, thoughtfully. She stared off into space blankly.

“It’s cause…” she said, then stopped. “Oh yeah, it’s…”

“It’s…” prompted Josh after she started again.

“Because I used my brain.”

She smiled and added her own hands to her boobs on top of Josh’s.

“Um, what?” said Josh. “I’m not following here.”

Katy squinted hard with extra effort.

“My … brain … is … in … my … tits … now.”

“Your brain is in here?” said Josh, almost deciding to move his hands, but not actually doing so.

“Yeah,” said Katy with a proud smile. “Which is why I’m such a dumb slut now.”

“You’re not a dumb slut,” said Josh. He thought about it for a moment and added, “Well you’re not dumb at least.”

“Yes I am!” said Katy defensively. “I’m super duper dumb now.”

“You’re one of the smartest people I’ve ever met,” said Josh.

“Not anymore,” said Katy, proudly tapping her temple.

“Yeah I guess not,” said Josh, with a shrug.

“I need your help for this next part,” she said.

“What’s the next part?”

“It’s on the video,” she said.

“What video?”

“The one I made for you.”

“Which is … where?”

“I don’t know! I’m an idiot, remember!”

Brunch Conversation

“But how can this be Alice?”

Heather looked back and forth from Erica, sitting across from her at the restaurant table, and Alice, in Erica’s hands.

“I don’t know,” said Erica, with a shrug. “But she just is Alice, right?”

She quite obviously was, but it didn’t make any sense why.

“I’m still confused,” said Heather. She bit her lower lip. “Can she hear us?”

“I don’t know,” said Erica with an indifferent shrug.

“Here,” said Erica. She set Alice down on the table right in front of Heather. “I’ve got to use the bathroom, you can hold onto her.”

This left Heather alone to contemplate all of this, without even the help of Erica’s non-answers.

Here was the context: They were at brunch at a new restaurant that had opened recently. The coffee wasn’t that great, but the crepes had been awesome. Then as they were chatting after the meal, and Heather asked what Erica’s girlfriend Alice was up to, Erica mentioned offhandedly that she had Alice in her purse.

And then out of her purse, she took a rather nice-looking cock. Not attached to anything or anyone else. Just a dick.

A dick that was somehow definitely, and recognizably Alice.

Heather knew that feeling of recognition somehow had to do with magic. Like when a friend goes to a magician and switches to a new head, but you just recognize them anyway. But it’d never occurred to her just how far that could go.

Still, there were at least two major things on Heather’s mind.

“You can touch her you know,” said Erica, interrupting Heather’s thoughts as she returned to the table. “I can just put her away again if you don’t want to. I thought you liked dicks though.”

“You know I do,” said Heather, tentatively picking Alice up. She felt warm and, well, alive in her hands. Starting to stiffen at the touch.

She looked back up at Erica, taking her seat again.

“Okay,” said Heather, now letting her hands start to fully fidget with Alice. “So like … I have some questions here still.”

“Okay,” said Erica. “What?”

“Okay, let’s start with why?”

“For my birthday,” said Erica with a grin. “Which is still two weeks away, but we thought we’d get started early.”

“She’s just a dick for two weeks?”

“Oh well actually — oh I see, you thought — no. We made a trade, body for body. So there’s like the rest of a dude — actually a dude with no head, we didn’t want the head — back at our place. So she gets to have a body, you know, when she’s not … that.”

“Well that’s sort of the next thing,” said Heather, squinting. “See I thought the two of you were, you know, lesbians…”

“What,” said Erica, “Lesbians can’t crave cock now?”

Heather giggled.

“I’m just amazed,” said Heather, gesturing in the air with Alice. “That this is a girl. Somehow.”

“It’s 2019,” said Erica. “Girls can be cocks. Lesbos can get fucked with cocks. Whole new world out there.”

“Yeah,” said Heather, “It’s kinda fucking amazing right.”

There was a pause that lasted long enough to get noticed. Heather realized just how hard Alice had gotten. And that her thumb was still stroking the head of Alice.

“I got to go to that yoga thing,” said Erica, reaching for her purse. “But hey — you want to borrow her today?”

Board Game Setup

My first board game night at Lauren’s place was something else.

Well, “Board Games” maybe isn’t the way she described it. I think she called them “Head Games.” But I’m getting to that part.

My name is Samantha, though I usually go by Sam. I’m a young professional, living on my own, mid twenties, single… ish. I guess I have an orbit of friends with benefits who float in and out of my life, but none of these gals or guys in that world were quite the kind I’d want to ‘lock it down’ with. But I’m kind of tall and kind of blond and people tell me I’m attractive so I’ve never had much trouble finding dates.

Lauren worked in the office across from mine, and we’d met waiting in line for coffee downstairs. She was maybe just a couple years older than I was, wore big nerdy glasses and short cut black hair, and unlike me had a steady boyfriend named Tim.

Oh, and she was way into magic and morphs. That whole scene of semi mad science shit that evolved after some scientists caused the “Quantum Event” and opened up a new reality or something. And that of course led to all this crazy body magic technology that’s out there now.

How could I tell she was into that?

Well the first time I met her, she had a dude’s arms.

I don’t mean to make assumptions, but they were comically out of proportion with her body. She’s not out of shape or anything, but she is on the thinner side, and more like she’d be doing yoga than power lifting. But the arms she was sporting were … massive. A tribal tattoo dominated one shoulder. And the skin tone was a bit darker. So you know. That was cool.

I’d been waiting in line behind her to get a coffee before work, and I have to admit I was a bit … turned on. And more than a bit curious. It took a couple seconds to build up the nerve to say something.

“Hey,” I’d said, leaning over to enter her field of view. “Those are some pretty nice … tattoos.”

She glanced up from her phone with a half smile, sizing me up with her eyes. There was a flicker of something like attraction. Girls who like other girls get what I mean. It’s this signal you broadcast in the subconscious zones. I gave it right back to her in equal amounts.

“Thanks,” she said, with an exaggerated wink. “I worked really hard on these guns, brah.”

“Man I should get on whatever workout program you’ve got,” I said, flexing a bicep and hoping that she might return the gesture.

“Yeah,” she said, flexing back, and almost causing me to squeal. “I um… beat my boyfriend’s friend at Madden and scored these off him.”

“You bet your arms on a video game?”

“Well,” she said. “The standard bet was for both an arm and a leg. So I actually beat him twice.”

“Those are his legs too?” I said, raising an eyebrow. Her current legs just looked like … well like they’d be her normal legs.

“No,” she said with a laugh. “I already ruined one pair of yoga pants trying to wear them, so those are just at home with my other arms.”

I just gawped for a second processing what she’d told me. She eyed the head of the coffee line, as she was the next one up, and then brought up her phone.

“Here,” she said, holding out a picture on the screen.

The screen showed a dude whose body looked every bit the beefcake who’d have such massive guns. Except for that his arms and legs were removed, and neatly stacked beside him on the couch.

“This was what I texted his girlfriend after I beat him,” she said with a smirk.

“Okay,” I said, zooming in with a pinch. “Why is he in a dinosaur mask?”

She stopped for a second to order her coffee.

“It’s actually not a mask,” she said, with a mischievous smirk. “It’s a novelty head we got online.”

“That’s his head?” I said, with a grin shot back at her.

“We nicknamed him ‘The Hunkasaurus’ at some point, and his girlfriend got this as a gag gift. Sometimes he wears it at parties.”

“That’s… weirdly adorable,” I said.

Our eyes locked for a second. I realized it was also my turn to order coffee. After placing my order, we turned back to face one another.

“I’m Sam,” I said, extending my hand.

“Lauren,” she said. “Saw you work across the hall from me upstairs.”

“Oh?” I said with a probing tone.

She shrugged.

“You’re a tall cute blonde,” she said with a shrug. “And you know—“

She didn’t finish that sentence, but was diverted into paying for her coffee. I waited for her and then paid for my own right after.

I had a moment of wondering, with an odd sense of panic, that this might be the whole interaction. I’d meet this fascinating and … also something else … girl and that would be all there was. She’d mentioned a boyfriend, and I’d registered that, but her body language was still… well… it could be my imagination.

Or could it?

“You ever get into body magic stuff?” she asked.

“You know,” I said. “I’ve always wanted to. But no.”

Strictly speaking, that wasn’t exactly true. Playing truth or dare once at a party I’d had my hands and feet switched for a night. But that seemed like it’d take too long to explain right then and there.

“It’s a fun lifestyle,” she said. “If you want to know more about it—“

“I want to know more about it,” I interrupted.

There was something about that word. Lifestyle. And all the implications that carried with it.

“Great,” she said grinning. “Want to get a beer after work?”

Boyfriend Remote

It started with a tour of Chelsea’s laboratory. My girlfriend Lisa knew her from grad school, and had told me she was, and I am quoting exact words, ‘A totally badass mad scientist.”

Chelsea was, in more precise language, an “Applied Arcanic Engineer Specializing in Human Body Magicks.” I only knew that from the framed diploma gathering dust on the workbench.

The lab however was living up to the hype. It was crowded with sci fi looking gizmos and widgets, crazy looking machines, and all sorts of other stuff.

My name is Noah. I’d been dating Lisa only for a few months. And she was the first girl I’d met who was into magic stuff.

I know, I know — it seems like the domain of people with a lot of tattoos and those giant earrings. But it’s really all types who get into it, and not just in the quasi-medical limb replacement and magically bouncy boobs area. Although, as Chelsea had discussed over lunch earlier, it was the magically bouncy boobs that mostly paid the bills.

“Some of these women, they just seem to have no upper limit to how many boobs they want. We’ll put an extra pair on a lady, and she’ll be back in two weeks like ‘how about four more.’” Chelsea had told us.

For Lisa and my part, we had three magic devices:

  • A portal collar that one person could use to take off their head.
  • Another portal belt, same thing but you could split someone in half.
  • Two pairs of magic underwear that would swap the ‘contents’ with the other.

And all of those had cost Lisa about three thousand dollars and had also led to many fun bedroom experiences, which I’ll just leave to the reader’s imagination for now.

But that was all peanuts compared to what Chelsea was showing us now.

“Oh my god,” said Lisa, pulling on my arm, “Is this like a whole portal table?”

In the middle of the room, cluttered with a lot of stuff, was a large steel table. It was fitted with multiple ‘portal loops’ in the whole shape of a person, with loops at the neck, shoulders, waist, hips, hands, and ankles.

“Oh yeah,” said Chelsea casually. “It’s sometimes useful to isolate the pieces you’re working with.”

“And just completely take someone to bits,” said Lisa, gushing with excitement.

“There are better ways to do that now,” said Chelsea. “Here’s my current favorite.”

Chelsea handed Lisa a gigantic control thing. It was the side of a large book and had a panel of hand-wired switches labeled with electrical tape and sharpie.

“What is this?”

“It’s a remote control for boys.” said Chelsea.

“For … which boys?” said Lisa, with a mischievous look at me.

“All boys. Look.”

Chelsea flipped one of the switches.

Then.

Everything.

Stopped.

The world just went away. That’s the best way I have to describe that. All sounds, all visuals, all taste, all smell — they just stop.

But touch. Touch is still there. I could feel, just as intensely as I could see and hear and all that other stuff. I could feel the tag on my T shirt like a hundred times more than before (it was annoying and I wanted to cut it off). And I could feel the cold, damp air of Chelsea’s basement slash laboratory. I could feel the electric hum of the incandescent bulbs in the air around me. The heat of two live bodies in the room to my left (Lisa) and in front of me (Chelsea). I could feel the slight vibrations in the air as they said something, Lisa’s ‘voice’ as much as I could perceive it seemed excited.

It’s a feeling I’d had a few times before. But only when my head was removed with the portal collar, and then switched off.

With my hands, I moved up to inspect my probably-empty neck. But I missed entirely.

Instead I just found my shoulders. Smooth all the way across. Not even a trace of a neck stump left.

What kind of remote control was this anyway?

I swung my arms out wide, looking for Lisa but she was standing too far away. I could kind of pick up laughing in the room.

I returned to my missing head. I wasn’t even sure how I was ‘breathing’ or if I was. There was no opening anywhere. At least with the portal collar, it leaves behind this ‘cap’ where there’s an air intake.

I waited. Then.

The world popped back up around me. I shook my head dazed for a second.

“Oh my god!” said Lisa. Her face had the look of the purest raw delight I’d ever seen.

Then it all went away again.

Then it was back.

“On!” said Lisa.

Then it went away.

And it came back.

“On!” said Lisa.

I guess I missed the “Off” part. But what was now clear was all it took was a flip of the switch to change things.

“What the fuck,” I said, not really sounding upset. “That happens so fast.”

“It’s so cool!” said Lisa.

My head toggled off, then on again.

“Damnit, it’s like a strobe light for my brain when you do that,” I said.

“Sorry,” said Lisa with a tone that sounded anything but sorry. “Let’s show you another one. Arms off!”

She flipped a switch.

This time I was aware for the brief moment it took to take effect. My arms just … retracted into my body. In a split second, they were gone completely.
