“Boom. Yes!” Anna pumped her fist in the air. On the bar TV some football players were celebrating their second touchdown.
Next to her, Jess slumped further over in her seat, her arms folded defensively.
“God dammit,” said Jess. “Hey Mike, I’ll have another one.”
“Yep,” said Mike, grabbing another cheap beer out of the ice bucket they were strategically sitting in front of. He uncapped it and set it on the bar, tossing the empty into the recycling bin behind him.
Anna turned to Jess to gloat a bit more.
“It’s happening! We’re finally going to win!”
Jess shook her head. Mike sympathetically took a glance at the TV.
“They’re only up 10,” he pointed out. “Still plenty of time left.”
“It’ll be enough!” said Anna. “One more quarter! Then guess what Jess!”
Jess smirked, her expression somewhere between exasperated and amused.
It was early for a game on the west coast and Sharkey’s Potions wasn’t much of a sports bar anyway. The spot had it’s own niche, which was more “alternative” — Tiki drinks and magic potions. Still, the bar had a TV so it was as good a place as any to watch around midday on a Saturday afternoon.
Both Jess and Anna worked at Sharkey’s, and both were from a football state. The same football state. Where college football meant everything. And, to complicate matters, they were on opposite sides of the divide. Anna’s mother was a professor at the university, and Jess had gone to the state college. And even across the country, they had to keep up allegiances.
“Hey Mike,” said Anna, taking a drink from her own beer, “Did we tell you about the bet?”
“Hmm,” said Mike, taking a meaningful look at both of them. “You might have?”
“At the start of the season,” said Anna, “Jess here said she was soooooo sure that State would beat us that she’d bet her tits on it.”
“Oh c’mon,” said Jess, folding her arms even tighter. “That was before our QB got hurt.”
“And of course I took her up on it,” said Anna. “Because, well, have you seen those things? Even if we were a long shot this year…”
“Yeah, but there’s another side to this,” countered Jess. “If we win, I get your arms!”
Mike raised an eyebrow at Anna.
“Only because she wouldn’t bet her dick,” said Jess, mockingly.
Anna blushed a bit at this. While she was definitely more than a bit “out” about what she’d come to prefer between her own legs, whenever she was called out for it it still sent a rush of delicious embarrassment through her. This only gave her an extra thrill — Anna thought sometimes she enjoyed the fake “shame” of having a dick instead of a pussy as much as the feeling of it itself.
“Sounds like a fair bet to me,” said Mike. He raised his own drink, a coffee cup.
“Winner only keeps them for a month,” said Jess, clarifying. “That was Anna’s idea by the way.”
“Shit,” said Mike. “I’d trade you Amy’s tits for those arms straight up. They’re awesome.”
Anna blushed a bit more. It was true, her arms were maybe her most noticeable feature. Well, maybe not quite when she was naked, but as long as she was wearing a moderate amount of clothing they were.
To begin with, she was rather well-muscled for a girl, and definitely had learned her way around a weight room over the past few years. Her arms, as well as her legs were strong and sculpted, something she was very proud of given all the work she’d put in.
But also, she had two three-quarter sleeve tattoos that ran from her shoulders to her forearms, in full color, done by two of the top tattoo artists. One of a naval scene of ships at full sail on a swirling blue ocean, the other a pattern of birds and flowers with an intricate layering that she still found fascinating to look at… This was why she sometimes got to model for magazines, and it was normally the first thing a guy would ask about.
“Thanks Mike,” said Anna. “I mean, I put a lot of work into these guys, so even if we lose — which we won’t! — I’d like to get them back eventually.”
“C’mon guys,” said Jess, finally unfolding her arms from in front of her chest. She leaned forwards so her boobs rested on the bar. “These titties need some touchdowns!”

“No! Fuck!”
“Fuck! Yes!”
The competing cries of both Jess and Anna drew Mike back over from the only other customer at the bar that early. He looked back up at the TV.
“When did they tie it up?” he said.
“Shut up!” said Jess.
“Here we go!”
Anna’s team was in field goal position already. The clock was winding down. They centered the ball on a run play, then brought out the field goal unit to chip it in for the win as time expired.
“This is bad Mike,” said Jess. “Do you understand that? It’s not like I’m going to get good tips for how nice I am or something.”
“Hey Mike,” said Anna, “I’m about to be giving out free motorboat rides…”
“Oh my god…” said Jess, now looking back up at the TV.
“What—“
Anna glanced up in time to see the ball being run down the field into the endzone. By the other team.
“Oh my god!” said Jess, both her hands in the air. “Oh my god!”
“What the—“
Anna stared in disbelief at what she was seeing. She’d been ogling Jess’s assets to the point where she missed the start of the play. She watched the slow mo replay as the snap went awry, the placeholder being barreled out of the way by a huge guy who scooped up the ball and ran it all the way back for the game winner.
Jess continued to celebrate while Anna moved from disbelief forwards into coping with the loss.
“Fucking shit,” she said, looking back at Jess. “I’m supposed to work tonight!”
“Seems like you’ll be bartending without any arms!” said Jess, grinning. “I don’t know how you’ll manage, but I’m definitely going to be coming by to see. And… more importantly… to show off my new ink a bit…”
Jess ran her hand playfully down Anna’s shoulder to her wrist.
Anna smirked at Mike, then back at Jess.
“Okay,” she said, “Let’s get this over with.”
