Encounter 15 - Physiques

An hour or two, four episodes of Breaking Bad, and one absolutely absurd amount of stove-cooked popcorn after arriving back home, I trudged downstairs to visit Rebecca. To be quite honest with myself I was expecting to find an out-of-place couch, an appliance of some sort or even the dog she turned into at the campsite. But nope; there Rebecca was, flipping and flopping on the ground in a shapeless light blue body. It’s almost as if she was kneading herself like bread dough.

“You just do what you need to do,” I muttered to the room. I was fairly certain that in that body Rebecca wouldn’t have a means of hearing me anyway. Though the more I saw this the more curious I grew, so I stepped around her and watched from my office chair as she pancaked across the carpet.

Some minutes passed and then she just stopped, rounding out into a circular disk the size of a dinner plate. I could infer her texture was softening by the way the light hit her. “Seems she’s finally getting to sleep,” I said to myself as I swiveled in my chair, threw on my headphones, and fired up my PC for some game time.

This shape was nice to take a break in. But I didn’t want my break to last too long, so I shifted back into my native self while restricting my size, meaning I ended up only as tall as the disc form was long. “Not bad,” I self-congratulated, taking a few steps around the room and to my shock, finding Mark playing... maybe Dark Deception?... at his computer desk. This left me with a choice: to stay down here and let him see me shift or get a more self-centered ‘workout’ on the upper floor of the house.

Realizing the stairwell could make my exercise a bit more literal, I crept out of the game room and faced the first stair. Reaching up I pulled myself into it with a running start. Nearly cheating by turning my legs into flat springs, I resisted the urge to play unfairly and hopped up normally, again pressing up like a dip onto stair number 2. “Fourteen more I think?” I self-questioned as I made it up to 3, then 4... up to the landing at 8.

Boot camp time. I began with a plank, using my slow breaths and keeping them controlled to get an approximate time of one minute. Then came push-ups. 1, press, 2, press, 3... up to 20. Sit-ups after that. Then half-push-ups. Jumping jacks. Crunches.

Now more stairs. With my body ready to burn energy, I started to sweat but I progressed up this flight faster than the last, now having the hang of the motion. I did another round of boot camp at the top, my shrunken body now in the living room. Sweat dripping from my forehead, I found the exercises much more grueling, but I powered through nonetheless. “Time to cool down,” I told myself, and with that I melted right back down the stairway in my ever-convenient skin-tone goo form.

Setting down my headset I put my PC to sleep, swiveling out of my seat to find a palm-sized rock in the middle of the floor behind me. But to my surprise it melted once I picked it up. “Let’s get you a bowl.”

I contained the melted Rebecca in my hands, making sure she didn’t expand or slip out while I found her a small dish to pour her into. Setting her inside, she froze and solidified. Groaning, I decided I’d just go have a cat nap... but not without some stretching first. As much as I disliked yoga and flexibility training, watching Rebecca using her extreme malleability was so enthralling to me I figured I’d just go refine my own bending capabilities.

I began simply by sitting on the floor of my bedroom and touching my toes. Simple enough. I could almost pinch my big toenails but as for now I could only contact those nails with my fingertips. It just takes practice.

Amidst my stretching my body had finally begun to wind down. I flowed in a way from one pose to the next. Maybe this is all yoga is, I wondered, knowing full well I was still lacking in flexibility. I just don’t like to call it yoga. Alas, my time inside my own head was cut short by a squishy sound outside my bedroom.

From wall to wall Rebecca, in the form of a bright yellow... gum, I guessed, pressed herself onto the paint and proceeded to pull herself out into a cone shape until whatever black magic Jedi force she was employing flung her to the other wall. She’d fly across the hallway in a very flappy fashion, and wherever she took off she’d emit sound. I rolled my eyes; not seeing a human Rebecca for this long was slightly irritating and pretty weird.

Not having any means to see, I threw myself onto the kitchen floor once the hallway ended. From the taffy form I concentrated, first making sure I have space with the help of an eye and then pressing my body up and onto four legs. These legs became coated in short, soft hairs in almost the same yellow shade, with small paws at the ends. On the sole of each paw I created cute pink pads. As for the hairs they spread to my ‘torso’, a part of me that couldn’t really be called a torso until I had shaped it into something sleeker in frame and function, giving it a slender tail about 16 inches long and a head that was snub-noses and included pointed ears. I clicked my shoulder blades and hips into place as my green eyes opened, my nose and mouth taking shape as whiskers grew from my large upper lips. Applying an off-white shade of fur to my chest and stomach regions I sat down and yawned before giving my front paws a lick with my scratchy tongue, lying on my stomach and getting used to relaxing from the viewpoint of a cat.

Mark then approached, offering no reaction at all as he peered down at me. In response I let out a trill, standing up to brush my sides against his legs. He pet my back but... that was it. No compliments, no corny jokes, not even a complaint. He was blank as a sheet of copy paper. Something wasn’t right.

I moved away from Rebecca after a few rubs and to my great relief she stood up on her hind legs and stretched forward as her tail retracted into her back, appearing human once more. “Hey,” I greeted, sounding relaxed and a little worked out from stretching my limits — literally. “I never realized before how much I like being around you in your most natural look.”

“I knew something was up... sorry to have weirded you out. I admit even when I’m alone I don’t remain inhuman for that long unless I’m sleeping,” she replied. “I think I’m in the mood to cuddle. What about you?”

“You know I’d never say no to a cuddle sesh with you. But I have to ask, why did you stay out of human forms for so long?”

“I wanted to refine myself, like have a shapeshifting workout. Originally I did break a sweat so I became a rock to relax and cool off.”

“Oh... well, I guess that’s just how your cooldowns work?” I questioned, choosing not to bring up my own stretching session.

“Chalk it up to ‘kinda’. Because I don’t even know how my cooldowns work.”

“Thaaat’s fair.” I cracked a slight grin as Rebecca stepped forward and wrapped her arms around me. “Aw, hi sweetie.”

“Would now be a good time for a transformation break?”

    “I think so.”

    “Good.”

I took a seat on the sofa and Mark followed suit in time. We leaned onto each other and snickered cutely, then I was welcomed into Mark’s loving embrace. “Can I at least shift into a slightly different woman?” I found myself begging within moments of snuggling him, but to my surprise, he smiled and said yes.

I beamed at him as my cups bounced into a new double D bosom, my belly, waist, and hips thickening up before his eyes. I made my ass nice and big for him, enlarging my thighs in the same manner so my lover could squish my plush lower half. He got the idea; Mark pulled himself into me and curled up against my torso with his head resting on my left breast. “Very cuddly, Rebecca. Very warm, very soft. Mmm...”

I smiled in lighthearted, amorous joy at this. My figure almost in BBW territory, I was originally going to finish the shift by altering my visage to reflect what I’d look like if I were of Japanese heritage, but instead I just added fat to it so it would match with the rest of my body.

“There. That’s all I’m gonna do, Mark. I’m yours.”

He craned his neck only to see my newly rounded chin. He then smiled and sighed in delight. “You’re mine, Rebecca. You’re amazing.”

I chortled. “You say that too much!”

“No, I just say it for every shape you shift yourself into.” He hugged tighter, my nonexistent heart melting in affection for him.

“MARK!” I pulled him up, looked him in the eyes, and locked lips. He held the kiss with equal vigor. Wrapped in each other’s arms, this could have gone on forever and I wouldn’t have cared a bit.
