Encounter 0 - Rendezvous
“Hey Mark!” she chirped as I pulled up to the mall’s main entrance where she was waiting ever-so-patiently for my arrival. It was one hell of a scorcher that day, but this should come as no surprise, for it was the middle of August in our home sweet home of Virginia.
“So how are things with you?” I asked Rebecca as we gleefully walked into the mall, half the reason we met there composed of an insatiable desire for air conditioning, and the complex was known to have an arctic interior during the summer months.
“Better now that we’ve got AC being blasted on our melting selves,” she commented. I nodded my head in agreement as we entered the vastness of this ultramodern shopping complex. It looked down on us with the most placid yet greedy aura.
“So... is there any store in particular you’d like to visit? Or are we just here to cool down? I’m fine either way,” I remark.
“Actually, now that I think about it, I’d like to head to Dick’s to grab some Atlanta Falcons gear,” replied Rebecca. “Coming with?”
“Of course.” She led me down a few hallways to the outstanding entrance of the sporting goods emporium.
“Here, you should go find your merch while I try on some new shoes. These have been running tight for a while now,” I pointed out, directing my girlfriend’s attention to the uncomfortable sneakers dressing my toes.
“Sounds good. Hope you can actually find something that’ll fit you well here, Mr. Duckfeet,” she chided. I turned toward the men’s shoe section and began drafting a wish list.

“Wow, what a comfy shirt!” I chirped as I slipped the black and red top over my lightweight tank. I was genuinely surprised, pleasantly so, by the quality of the garment I had just tried on. I recalled I have a $50 Lacoste tee in my closet that I usually don’t wear for fear of staining it. The craftsmanship and comfort of this article, I decided, are quite comparable. And therefore well worth my thirty bucks. I grabbed this shirt as well as a thermos advertising the same NFL team and made one final sweep around the apparel area before heading to the checkout. I noticed Mark is still test-driving some kicks so after purchasing my items I waited at the store’s exit.
My boyfriend and I left the store after he said to me that he doesn’t want to buy anything there today. “I was just there to try things on,” he pointed out. “But I was thinking since we have so much time on our hands today I could go take you to a movie. Anything you’d like to see?” he asked politely.
“Alita!” I exclaimed.
“Not a problem. Let’s hit the theatre because I’ve been wanting to watch that movie too.”

“Aw man that was insane! Her eyes are so pretty.”
Rebecca chuckled and nudged my shoulder at that remark. “Thanks a lot for taking me out like that! You really spoiled me today,” she said to me with a grin. “Maybe we should hang out a little later into the evening... you make such great company, you lanky beast,” she playfully teased, lightly punching my shoulder.
“Well, my house is always open. The lanky beast has way too much free time.”
She giggled. “Oh Mark!”

We arrived at his pad after a good fifteen minute car trip. I’ve never been to Mark’s house, not once, in the two months we’ve been dating. I soon learned that unlike his car, the abode in which he resided was very posh and well-kept. “Wow honey... you really outdid yourself here... this place feels massive!” I said as I placed my things down on the tiled floor.
“It really isn’t, just new construction. This place has 1560 square feet, give or take. But I’m glad you like it.”
We entered the house on what’s essentially a platform in between two staircases: one leading up and the other down. Mark closed the front door behind us and stepped up the loftier set of stairs and so I followed him. We’re led into a hallway but a slight left turn displayed a comfy living room, a clean dining room, and a modern kitchen. My eyes dilated in awe, impressed that such a young guy could have all this.
“Should I give you the grand tour?” my boyfriend asked.
===
I thought of my house like a motor enthusiast would his hot-rods. While I knew very little about how cars work, I could list every specification of my home off the top of my brain. Everything was the way I want it and that state described how I need it. I showed my girlfriend the kitchen and all its appliances, each one built within the last five years. Same with the furniture of the kitchen and living room. All new and all ideal. The upstairs bathroom had a shower and bath combination, as well as a counter sink and its brushed nickel faucet. My guest room had a 40” LED TV and a soft navy couch that can unfold into a bed. “Wow Mark, you don’t mess around! This place is beautiful!”
It was rather entertaining to watch her reaction as I revealed the master bedroom. A king size bed sat in the center, flanked by a clutter-free nightstand on the right and a floor lamp on the left. A dresser was opposite the plush bed with six drawers, each with a polished chrome handle. I didn’t bother to bring her inside the walk in closet. I figured she’d be even more delighted to see the bath suite.

“Ho-ly-crap...” were the only syllables escaping my lips as I entered my mate’s grand master bathroom. Two sinks laid in front of the doorway. To the left of them was a sizable bathtub with six jets, and to the right a rainfall shower with a handheld head and massaging spigots, the atmosphere lit by a team of pure white LEDs. A single door rested beside the shower; I had correctly assumed that this led to the toilet. “Wow Mark... and to think this is only the first floor...”
“What can I say, good investments when you’re young pay off. My car, on the other hand, is nowhere near as nice as my not-so-humble abode,” he explained.
I explored the bathroom with fixed-open eyes for a solid two minutes before hanging back to my boyfriend. He showcased the downstairs area, complete with a game room/office, a powder room, and a utility room. The latter area smelled of insulation, as it was the only unfinished quarter of the house. Mark then led me back up the stairs to the living space, at which point he sat on the couch and invited me to do the same, patting an adjacent cushion.

“So now that the tour is done, do you think you’d like some dinner?” I asked politely.
“Erm, not really... the popcorn and candy we had at the movies was more than enough. But should my tank get low later on, I’ll gladly raid your pantry.”
“I guess I’ll have to arm my pantry lasers then,” I joked back. With that, I turned the TV on just in time for Wheel of Fortune, a mutual favorite of mine and my girlfriend. I returned to the sofa, remote in hand, and cuddled Rebecca softly. She hugged me back, kissing my cheek and grinning. Even though I was taller, I then tried my best to lie my head on her shoulder. We both chuckled at my futile attempt.
While the TV program was running, Rebecca slyly stole the remote from the cup holder in the couch’s armrest. I noticed this a few minutes later but decided against bringing it up because knowing her this probably meant she wants to watch some kind of movie with me after Wheel of Fortune. I didn’t mind this at all, even if we were to view something as god-awful as Frozen. I could snuggle Rebecca all day.
===
“Look what I’ve got,” I teased, wiggling the remote in Mark’s direction as I got up from the couch. As I walked backwards into the kitchen, I set it down on the island countertop and headed to the pantry, retrieving and opening a bag of sour cream flavored potato chips. “You forgot to arm the lasers.” I made my way back to the sofa with both snacks and the remote.
It didn’t take me long to find Netflix on Mark’s smart TV. I decided to watch a classic with him: Star Wars Episode IV, the very first movie in the series that caused the masses to flip their lids and gain a new interest in the sci-fi genre. I put the chips between us and hit play, kissing my boyfriend on the cheek before shoving some of those addictive snacks in my face hole.
I popped over to his side of the armrest about halfway through the movie to get even closer to him, wrapping my cute body around his thin frame.
“Hi there sweetheart,” he cooed, petting my back. As I tilted my neck rearward to move my hair out of my face, he kissed my forehead. “You feel so nice and warm, Rebecca. I’m snug as a bug in a rug.” He guided my chin upwards to look me in the eye, and then kissed me passionately. I smooched him back with the same amount of pleasure for a few seconds, then I rubbed my tongue and lips across his face and down to his throat, licking and kissing it. We were both letting out these disorganized, quiet, pleasured sounds at this point, enjoying the moment to the fullest extent.

Throughout the next half hour, she kept herself in a tight bundle around my body, kissing me here and there. But at one point I felt this uncomfortable pressure on my left thigh. “Ow,” I gasped, trying to find a way to relieve it without causing her to let me go. I shifted that leg so Rebecca’s left butt cheek sits on it, but the pain actually worsens, my leg tingling as if it were the start of pins and needles. “Oof, honey, you gotta get up,” I said to her quietly. “My leg kinda hurts.”
“Hm?” She looked down at her posterior to see that it was a bit larger than normal. Her face went white like an eggshell. “Oh, heh heh, I-I’ll move off,” she responded in a very awkward tone. As she stood up in front of me, it seemed that her ass was at least twice its original size. I could also promise myself that once she did get on flat feet, the feature receded into her back, returning to standard caliber. I shot her a baffled look, and she only sent an odd grin and went back to her side of the couch.

Oh god... oh man that was real close, how did I not feel that coming? I inwardly wondered, as not only did I potentially give Mark a cramp, he might have caught a glimpse of my deepest secret! But then again, what kind of a relationship is it if I’m keeping such buried truths from my partner?
What if he does find out? Will he dump me? Will he love me even more? Will he see me as... as a freak...? N-no, there’s no way I can tell him... but then aren’t I a faker? And I’ll have to make it known eventually... but I can’t face that type of- of stress! Then again, won’t I just regret the fact that I delayed once I do make it known to that guy? Oh my god... I fought this internal battle as my boyfriend peacefully watched Star Wars. He seemed content as ever. I breathed a sigh of relief.
