The shake of the of the gumball machine roused the rubbery hero from her bored slumber. It had happened before, and it would happen again, but the hero’s balled up form made her helpless in the face of it. A child’s face, young, female, greedy, and massive stared down at her from outside the prison of glass, her hands working a lever on the outside of the vintage machine. The balls around the hero churned in responses, agitating Elastacy around in the process. The disrupting of the pile slowed, followed by a thump as somewhere nearby one of the gumballs dropped into the hopper for that girl to enjoy.

Elastacy had been in that gumball machine for weeks now, when the pile of candy had been nearly twice as high as it was now. Back then she thought she could fight the sugary glaze that encased her tightly balled up form. But the coating, so fragile normally, was perfect to seal her as the crushed up rubber ball she was. Her mind drifted back to when it had all began. It had been such a simple day. Elastacy had been going around asking if anyone in the neighbourhood had seen a missing girl. Most had nothing to say, some had a useless tidbit or two to share, but the owner of the candy store behind the rubbery hero had been different.

What had triggered the change in the older woman, Elastacy wasn’t sure, but at the mention of the missing girl she had been beckoned, nearly dragged, the rubbery hero behind the counter of the store. The act, so sudden it was, had distracted the woman at the prospect of finding the missing child. Enough that she hadn’t noticed when her arm had ended up in a running industrial mixer.

“Sorry girl, but I can’t go back” the older lady had simply said as turn after turn pulled the rubbery hero closer and closer to the machine. Elastacy tried to struggled, crying out as her heels squeaked helplessly against the polished flooring while every spin of the machine brought her a foot closer to that spilling metal paddle. Even with her elastic powers her arm could old stretch so far, and soon she was almost face to the machine. She glanced back in a desperate attempt to as the woman to stop, but only dead cold eyes greeted her back. The shock of those eyes stunned the hero, just long enough for the machine to exact a twisting fate.

Squelch

Quickly Elastacy was pulled into the mixer, the beater arm smashing her again and again into the side walls of the bowl, blending the poor hero into herself. The colours of her super suit started to blend with her light tan skin, which took on a pinkish hue, as every defining feature of the rubbery hero was mashed into a uniform paste by the machine cruel. Elastacy struggled to move from the treatment, even when the mixer went silent, but she was helpless as the woman came back, but dressed differently than before.

The Confectionist announced her true before scooping the rubber hero into a piping bag that barely fit her. Then, with one large pull she has squeezed the poor rubbery mass to the front of the bag, crushing the contents tight against the tip, straining hard with her bakers strength till barely an inch of the bag was filled.

Uhhh

Elastacy moaned helplessly while the villain worked, watching as the woman cut the tip of the bag before piping her into a dollop on a tray. But her form didn’t stick to the surface, instead popping up into a ball shape. The Confectionist tried to press her to the pan, but again and again her form popped back up. With frustration the woman tossed Elastacy across the room, sending the hero flying helplessly into a vat of liquid sugar.

The burning hot sugar burned and sizzled while it solidified against Elastacy’s form, the searing pain a blinding white against her eyes. She wanted to flex, to bend, maybe even escape. But the ever thickening film of sugar around her made it impossible to do so. Then, just as suddenly as it started, it was over. Relief filled the ball as the heat abated her, as the Confectionist scooped her from the vat with a pair of metal tongs. She seemed annoyed at the results, like this wasn’t the end that she wanted for the rubbery her. As her form started to cool the villain brought Elastacy out of the store, in front of a few classic gumball machined.

Then, with not even a singular care, the gumball of a hero was deposited into the vintage machine. Every crank of the machine brought Elastacy closer to release, to freedom from the boredom of her glass prison. But it was also one ball closer to her doom, to the damp warmth of someone’s mouth. To teeth that would bite down on her skin, the sharp mountains of molars crushing and pulverizing... Elastacy had to stop the thought. She wouldn’t let her mind, depraved out of all sensation, do it. She would endure, as that is what hero’s did. Endure until she found a way out of this mess.

---

The metal of the gumball machine machine chilled the hero through her candy shell as she lay at the bottom of the empty machine. Elastacy was looking up, towards the lid. Alone, the last gumball in the machine. Footsteps and shadows passed her in the late afternoon, any one of of them a potential customer. A shadow stopped before the machine. Was this it for the rubber hero?

“Well, well” the female voice boomed aloud above. Elastacy struggled to recognize the voice.

Who? Elastacy asked herself, confused and disoriented form the long slumber. Familiar... but why? If only the woman could lean forward maybe the gumball could see who she was. “I think I’ve had a change of heart girl. Let’s get you out of there” the voice continued. Hero, villain, friend, or was it a foe? Would the result matter?

No must stay positive, the hero thought to herself, now is not the time to admit defeat. Whatever was to come next, she would be ready for it.

Chick chick, thump

The metal below Elastacy began to spin, rolling the world around the hero as she was guided towards the dark exit in the machine. Closer and closer she rolled, freedom, release. Excitement filled the rubber hero, but was this what she wanted. Suddenly Elastacy was falling, down into the hole before her.

Thump

She slammed into the bottom, rolling forward from the hit till she crashed into a metal door and fell into light. A hand caught her, hard, callused, tilting Elastacy till she was looking up at her new owner. She had her answer. Villian. Confidence drained from the elastic hero as her chances of escape plummeted in that moment.

It's just a round two, how bad can it go? Elastacy tried to keep her up her confidence, even if the future looked grim. It didn't help that she was staring up into a grinning villian's smile.

“I wounder what you will taste like” a dread filled the hero but she was powerless as the Confectionist tossed her high into the air, soaring up and up, quite a ways above the woman. Maybe she had missed, the ball hoped, sending her on a trajectory that would take her far away from here. It was a hope, small at that, one that hid the growing realization that Elastacy would get exactly what her mind had envisioned for her. At the peak of the throw Elastacy began to pivot in the air, spinning with the rotation till she was looking down towards the ground, the villain, and the open maw that awaited her.

No no no, not that Elastacy cried out mentally as started to tumble towards the villain. I didn't mean it when I thought about actually being chewed...

Thump

Hot wetness slammed. Elastacy face as she collided with the massive snake like muscle that was the villains tongue. The glistening saliva covered teeth, the pink tongue, the darkness that lay beyond the depths of the woman’s mouth. But before she could truly come to terms with her fate darkness began to enclosed on the woman as the Confectionst started to close her mouth. The darkness closed in on the hero until only the taunting whiteness of the villains teeth remained. The Confectionist’s tongue, massive like a world destroying worm, thrashed her around, slamming the ball into the massive, rock hard teeth while coating her in a thick layer of warm saliva. The air in the cavity began to feel heavy and damp as Elastacy was rocked around, back and fourth till eventually she was wedged securely between two lines of teeth.

Oh god! Elastacy cried out in her mind as the wetness of the villian's saliva slowly was seeping into her protective shell. This can't be happening to me

“Well, let’s see what flavour you are” the villain spoke around the gumball as light flicked through the crack of her lips to her prey. A light of false hope, though that didn’t last long. Soon Elastacy felt as the woman began to bite down on her.

Cht, Cht

The sugary layer around the balled up hero tried to resist, putting up a fight against the bite of the villian. Attempt after attempt to bite through to the squishy hero was met with failure.

Ha! A surge of hope filled Elastacy that she wouldn't meet her doom. Not here. Better let me go before you chip...

Suddenly the sugary prison shattered around her from another bite and the rubber hero found herself free to begin to move once more.

...a tooth? Elastacy managed to finish the thought before being forced to cry in pain as the massive molars drove their hard peaks into her rubbery skin. They crushed down upon her, squashing her between their uneven surfaces before beginning to grind back and fourth. Pain erupted erupted across Elastacy as her body was pierced and ground about, breaking down slowly under the attack.

“Ghht, mhhf, ahft” Elastacy tried to scream out from the pain, for help, but nothing legible escaped from her disfigured form. The punishing, rhythmic, grinding of the villains molars paused for a moment, and to the relief of the rubbery mass, actually retracted for a moment.

Oh god it stopped Elastacy thought, thankful for the reprieve. Everything inch of the rubbery hero's body was in pain. How can I this end?

"Plsz?" Elastacy tried to say, to beg for the torture to be over.

“Quiet in there” the Confectionist teased, the sound of her voice resonating through the crushed hero as as she watched the woman’s tongue twitch back and fourth in the flickers of light. The molars above Elastacy retracted further, higher, the glistening wet light that filled the space growing as the villain opened her mouth to accommodate the motion. The act confused Elastacy into submission as she struggled to understand what the villain was doing. Was she stopping? Was she going to speak to someone and thus didn’t want Elastacy to speak aloud?

What is she going to... the hero began to think as those glistening molars towered above her.

Snap

Pain drove through the hero as the villain slammed her jaw together, piercing the rubbery girl in multiple places as the massive woman’s teeth clicked together from the impact.

Tnak

Just as sudden the villain opened her jaw, leaving Elastacy plastered against the top molars.

...do. Gah! Elastacy's mind had shorted, blanking in the moment of the impact. The massive tongue came to explore the damage, sliding and probing to determine the affect she was having on her new gum. The act left a thick layer of saliva behind, moistening the hero in the process. Pulverized and sticky, Elastacy was helpless as the massive muscle began to play at the edge of her body, lifting and folding her upon herself in line with row of teeth, propping her helpless form up to continue the torture. A pit of despair opened in the rubbery hero’s form, as with horror she realized what would happen next.

Snap Tnak, Snap Tnak, Snap Tnak

Oww... Ahh... Please... Stop... Ahh The sudden bursts of clarity between the crushing pain staggered the hero's thoughts as she struggled to process the damage that was being cause to her. Again and again the villains massive molars slammed into her crushed up rubber mass of a body, eliciting pain with every slam, grind and pull as those mountain like teeth colliding with her form. Her mind struggled to handle the abuse as the villains’ teeth mixed and mashed her form till the hero no longer could tell her hands from her feed. But the worse was yet to come. Without warning Elastacy was scooped forth by the massive tongue and pressed against the lips of the villain. Her form, well chewed, formed easily under the pressure of the tongue into a flattish wad of rubber, pressed against the crack in her wet prison.

What now? Is she going to spit me Ghha. A blast of air blasted Elastacy into the light, her form growing instantly cold as the dry, outside air began to evaporate the wet sludge that coated her. The hero could make out street signs and buildings around her, slowly growing smaller as the pressure behind her grew in intensity. With horror Elastacy realized the world wasn’t shrinking, but she was growing, larger and rounder. She was a bubble, flimsy, weak, and helpless as her torturer continued to make her grow. The pressure grew quickly, stretching and testing the limits of the girls abused form as pain began to blossom in ribbons across her form.

But just before Elastacy’s weakened form failed and shredded into piece, the Confectionist stopped. The hero glanced around glanced around, helpless in her transformed state, watching as people passed left and right, oblivious of what was happening to one of their cities defenders. Oblivious to the grin that was on the Confectionists lips, the raised eyebrow as she walked through the crowded city. Unaware of the hero’s plight as the villain started to bring a finger up, slowly, towards the hero. Elastacy knew what the villain had in store, wanted to shy away from the impending doom that plain finger meant. To flee, to run, to be away from what was about to happen. But she was a bubble and that meant she would.

Help Elastacy called out helplessly in her head, dejected as she knew what was about to happen next.

Pop

Elastacy exploded into pieces, falling into abused ribbons against the mouth of the villain before being scooped back into that hot, humid, violent space. The hero’s mind struggled to comprehend what had happened to her, with each strand thinking a part of the whole.

When...........let

........will.........me

..............she........go

It hurt to think or exist, but there was no break for the hero, as she was nothing more than a piece of gum. On point the villian’s tongue snaked out, scooping the remains of the rubbery hero back into her. That tongue deposited those remains near the back of her mouth, once more on her molars before she went back to chewing on the hero. Those grinding teeth working to combine the damage shreds of a girl together, mashing and chewing the strands till they were once more a homogeneous blob.

Please I stop can’t surrender I anymore

The crushed hero, whole again, couldn’t think straight. Her mind, though hole, had been so messily put back together that her thought’s no longer lined up. Not that the villain was aware of the torturous affects she was causing to her gum. In fact, she wasted no time prepping another bubble. Once more Elastacy was blown from the Confectionist’s lips greeting the world with a scream of pain on her mind before bursting into shreds once more.

“You know,” the Confectionist comments after feeding the damaged remains of Elastacy back into her mouth from the second bubble, “you may taste like nothing special, but you do make the most wonderful bubbles.” The compliment was lost to the abused hero, the noise barely registering to the rubbery girl as she was back to being ground apart by the villains teeth. Every popped bubble tore at Elastacy’s body and mind leaving it in ribbons before grinding them back together in the semblance of a single piece. The girl struggled to think through the pain, her thoughts disjointed, overlapping, out of order as it was shredded it was popped into pieces over and over again.

---

The abuse was too much for the hero, or at least her powers, as slowly the woman’s elastic powers began to reach their limit. Bubble after bubble the Confectionist soon found her gun reaching it’s end as the mass in her mouth slowly began to feel hard and the bubbles pitiful before popping. She was sitting on a park bench, enjoying the setting sun as she chewed her now rubbery candy. It was done, there was no more life in her gum. The Confectionist looked around, attempting to spot a garbage can or somewhere a responsible adult would deposit their gum, but there was none. She didn’t like it, but there would be helping what she would do next.

---

Light greeted Elastacy, her mind barely registering as a hand reached between the lips of the villain and wrapped around her. They extracted her with a pop from the teeth that had tormented her, her body shaped to a memory of those teeth. That blob of rubber was brought free from the villains mouth, brought into the light of the faltering day. Not that it mattered to the girl. Nothing mattered, not the freedom, the sight of the park, the chill of the breeze as the saliva dried around her. Nor did it matter as she was lowered, as a shadow passed above her, as wood greeted her, as she was pressed alongside other colourful blobs. Nor as a piece of paper was pressed into her. She simply was.

Weeks passed as her rubbery powers tried to handle the damage. Her mind slowly started to work itself into a semblance of normal, encumbered by layers of saliva that had worked their way through it. The hero’s body was not muck better, but it only needed to be functional. White, that was the only thought in her damaged head. The colour, sometimes bright, sometimes dark. It was her whole world. Then, like a child turning five, she was.

Slowly Elastacy unwrapped her shrunken body from beneath the park bench. The movement was painful and slow, but limbs started to emerge from the wad at the bottom of the bench. A wad that was quite a bit larger that when she had been placed there. With a thud Elastacy fell to the ground, no larger than a small dog, but definitely her. It was painful, but she was free. But the world was still white, still blank.

Elastacy grabbed at the paper that was pressed to her face, the same one the Confectionist has stuck to her the month prior. It peeled of with a dull slurp, her face still stick from the abuse. The hero looked at the paper, expecting it to be blank, but it wasn’t. In fact it had writing. A note actually.

“Dear girl. Or whoever you are. I realize now that I was mistaken, that you were looking for someone else. You see, our pasts often have a way of catching up to us. If you are reading this, do not come back.

Sincerely,

The Confectionist.”
