Madame Evelyn’s House of Wonder, or at least it was until the government shut it down for malpractice. It ends up having a track record of missing staff, and numerous customers, will do that. Even if there was a lack of evidence. Now it is just studio seven at 127 Penatos Drive West. But regardless of the trivial they are still very much open for business. Those who wander into those doors are often never seen again. The shop is always stocked with curious and oddities, with a thriving online presence, driven by rumor's and speculation. Rumor's that attract the curious, but the rest fall victim to the trickery of the shop odd owner. Will you be her next play thing?

Hot, fresh, summer air. The taste of salt against ones lips. The rolling of the tide. Evelyn’s unexpected trip to the beach had turned out to be a wonderful idea, and she had her new blue inner tube to thank for the idea. Andy was being such a wonderful dear, keeping his master floating above the rolling waves while gently rocking her side to side. Unlike most of her toys this one would have a permanent place in her collection. An hour or so of bobbing in the waves had left her rather damp, however, so she decided to take a break and head back for the shoreline. Most paid the woman little mind as she returned to the dry sand of the beach, unaware of all the power that was contained in her beautiful form. Without anyone attempting to bother her the woman she was easily able to wander up to a nearby lounge chair and stretch herself out on in, ready to take in the summer shine. The beach goers came and went, seemingly oblivious to the woman’s porcelain glow. That was except for two young woman who seemed to have broken the spell.

“Excuse me” an obnoxious female voice edged with annoyance nudged Evelyn’s awake. She must have dozed off for a moment and she was not happy to be disturbed.

“Yes” she responded. Her voice was calm and level, refusing to let the other woman ruin her mode.

“You need to get lost. Like now. This is our spot. Could you not see the towel or are you blind?” the aggressive tone of the woman did not sit too kindly with Evelyn, who finally opened her eyes to acknowledge the pair. For being so noisy the woman was nothing special, with a friend in tow that was equally non descriptive. Did these girls really think they had the power to tell her what to do.

“Get lost girlies, your not worthy of my time” Evelyn responded as she waved her hand like she was trying to clear so dirt away before closing her eyes again to try and finish the day on a pleasant note.

“Maybe we should...” the voice was new, different. It must have been the annoying one’s friend. It seamed like she was trying to stop her friend, but she obviously wasn’t the one in charge in that relationship.

“No! You ... Grrh” the annoying one tried to speak but her growing frustration seemed to make talking difficult.

Bonk

What an odd sound, Evelyn thought as she started to open here eyes to identify the source. She wouldn’t have a chance however as a hand latched onto her shoulder and began to shake her.

“Leave! Now!” the girl commanded the witch. A fire ignited in Evelyn’s body at the offence. How dare this pathetic mortal touch her, and possibly risk marking her perfect skin. Even worse, she noticed that her pool ring was now a little ways down the beach, which must have been the source of the sound earlier. This was an injustice that could not go unpunished. This child had overstepped her bounds and was in need of a proper punishment. Like a snake strike Evelyn lashed out, her hand biting into the girls wrist and pulling it away like it was infected. With her other she threw out a bolt of shadowy hexagonal energy, which flew around the trio and formed a misty wall that separated them from the rest of the beach.

“That was the line, and you just crossed it” Evelyn stated with ichor dripping from her words. Her mind flicked through suitable punishments for the girls, a thousand possibilities, but her phone interrupted her. “One second” Evelyn flicked her finger at the girls, sending another blast of dark energy. It quickly wrapped around the two, silencing them and seemingly locking them into place at the same time. Their bodies seemed to strain against the magic, but a simple mortal form was no match for the powers of a witch. With that settled Evelyn removed her hand from around the girls wrist and dug her phone out of her bikini top. It was wrapped in a sandwich bag to protect it from the water but the witch was still able to make out the text on the screen. Evelyn had a new notification from her online store. One of her listings had just sold for a pretty penny. Evelyn knew she had one in stock but the notification gave her the perfect idea to punish these girls with.

“Well girls, I think today is your lucky day. I know the perfect fate for the two of you” she stated to the static statues in front of her, their only signs of life being how their eyes darted left and right. “The two of you are going to help me with something” Evelyn continued as she approached the girl that had been less rude to her. She addressed her directly, “Since your only crime was your association to your horrible friend I will make this easy on you. Here” she stated as she snapped her fingers before the girls exploded into a fluttering pile of yellow, green, and red confetti. The witch made sure to keep the mess to a minimum, using her magic to swirl the loose paper into a neat pile where the girl once stood. The effect was so instant one would have questioned if there had ever been a second girl to begin with. Now that the quiet one was taken care of she walked back over to her main target.

Evelyn studied the girl, taking great pleasure in watching her lips tremble in what would possibly be a vain attempt to scream. “Don’t worry dear, she is still in there. Although how much of her is in each piece I don’t really care to find out. But I wouldn’t worry about her, I would worry about yourself first. You see I don’t take kindly to brats who don’t know their place in the world. You have made someone very angry. Now normally I would just flick my fingers and be done with you, but I have taken a rather perverse joy in elongating this process. So, how about a bit of a gamble. I think I will give you three chances to guess what I plan to make of you. If you guess correctly then you and your friend will walk free. Otherwise, well, you will find out eventually wont you?” she teased the girl before releasing the spells grip around the girls mouth.

“HELP!” the girl immediately cried out, but not a single person beyond the surrounding barrier reacted to her call.

“They really do always cry out when given the chance” Evelyn commented to herself before mockingly addressing her victim, “No, help is not a valid answer. Next!”

 “Please, let me...”

“’Please’ is also not a valid answer, one more try” Evelyn stated casually, which seemed to finally get the girls attention to how serious it might be. The girl waited a moment before responding.

“A Dog?” she asked hopefully before the magic suddenly sealed again around her mouth.

“All wrong. The answer is a piñata. Also, in case you think there might be room for partial marks, you will not be a dog piñata” the response was simple and direct, lacking all hint of care that she was about to ruin this girl’s life. With a groan the witch got up from her chair. She took a moment to stretch before making her way over to the new material. The girls eyes tracked Evelyn as she approached, but there was nothing to be done as he doom approached. “Well let us see what we can do with you”

Where to start? Evelyn wondered as she circled the girl. Her eyes examined what she had to work with before settling on the stupid girls face. The witches eye lit up, a smile crept to her lips. She began to wind her arm back, as if she was going to punch the girl.

BAM

Evelyn did indeed punch the girl. Her face smashed into the poor girl, mashing the girls face in as if it was made of putty. For good measure Evelyn ground her knuckles in, warping her face further until it was almost unrecognizable. “Terribly sorry, must have slipped” Evelyn giggled as she inspected the damage, “I guess I might as well finish what I started then” the witch commented as she got to work shaping the girls face. She began to kneed the girls face, working it slowly into a cylindrical shape before pulling the girls ears up and out. “Perfect, since you were being such an ass I though it would be perfect to make you into one”

True to Evelyn’s word the girl was being shaped slowly into the shape of a donkey. It didn’t take much to finish the job. The witch bent the girl over till she rested on all fours, crushing parts of her playthings legs so they would be the same height. Then she got to work fixing some of the other girls dimensions, blowing up her torso, pulling a tail out of her butt, until she started to look a little like a donkey. “One last step and perfect! My very own little own donkey. Well, not mine but it goes with the expression” Evelyn stated aloud as she inspected her work. To say the girl now looked exactly like a donkey would be an overstatement, but how much detail did a piñata really need. “Just one more step” the witch commented as she picked up the pile of paper and tossed it at the ass. As if magnetized the paper jumped onto the poor girls form, coating her heard to tail in paper shreds of her friend.

“Tada!” Evelyn celebrated to herself as she picked up her new product and inspected it. “You are looking like the most perfect ass, my dear. It is a shame that I will not be there as your new owner cracks you open, but I think we both know how that is going to go. Ah yes! Before I forget” Evelyn commented before snapping her fingers once more, causing a tinkling sound to echo from inside of her victim as candy filled her belly. “There! It would be such a shame to have an empty piñata. And now” she continued before snapping once more.

PFFFt

The piñata blinked out of existence leaving the witch alone. “Instant shipping. Beats the usual shipping rates at least. Now lets see if we can salvage the day. Maybe another lounge in the waves will do the trick. Now where did Andy go?” Evelyn searched for her ring, before spotting it’s magical signature out in the water once more. Worry filled the witch, thinking she had just lost her new toy, but a sudden wave revealed the blue ring with two kids riding on top. Annoyance filled her heart again, but their smiled filled faces, gave her pause. They had not intended to annoy her, unlike someone that was best to be forgotten, but had probably stumbled on the toy by accident. Was she really going to ruin their moment with her new favorite toy, just so she could get a few more hours out on the water. The answer was obvious. As the children bobbed out on the water Evelyn settled back into the chair and tried to make the best out of her ruined day.
