Madame Evelyn’s House of Wonder, or at least it was until the government shut it down for malpractice. It ends up having a track record of missing staff, and numerous customers, will do that. Even if there was a lack of evidence. Now it is just studio seven at 127 Penatos Drive West. But regardless of the trivial they are still very much open for business. Those who wander into those doors are often never seen again. The shop is always stocked with curious and oddities, with a thriving online presence, driven by rumors' and speculation. Rumors' that attract the curious, but the rest fall victim to the trickery of the shop odd owner. Will you be her next play thing?
Ding Ding
The electric bell on the door to the studio chirped out as the it opened and a lost looking man stepped into the store. His eyes scanned the store room, spotting shelves of clutter and crap, with such a lack of a central theme it looked closer to a thrift store than pool supplies store he had been looking for. His eyes spotted anime figurines, garden plants, clothing for all ages, and a larger collection of strange hats. But there was one thing that made this thrift store different from the rest. There wasn’t a spec of dust to be found.
“Hello there dear” a voice purred from the back of the room. The man quickly turned to the source of the voice, finding it’s owner standing behind the counter at the back of the room. Pale skin dressed in a black leather corset with red accents around the stitching and a matching pair of leather pants. The woman was the spitting image of a Gothic porcelain doll. The man was taken aback by her beauty, confused as how he had missed her when he first walked in. With a look of confusion he approached.
“Yes, hi. Sorry, but I seem to be lost. I came in here thinking this was ‘Jeremy’s Pool supplies’ but I obviously have the wrong store. Do you happen to know where it is? It is supposed to be in this complex” the man asked. It was a simple enough question, but the woman took her time responding. If anything her eyes seemed to be tracing him up and down, as if inspecting him before she smiled to herself.
“Why of course I know where that is. In fact, I believe you have come to the right place” the woman stated with a smile. The words rolled slowly out from her mouth, with slight hints of an European accent slowing her speech. “So sir, what are you looking to get?”
“I guess that works. I am not looking for anything special really. Just a couple of inner tubes for the family to use this summer” the man responded. His eyes kept glancing around the store, as if trying to confirm something. “I don’t mean to sound rude but this doesn’t really feel like a pool supply store”
“Well there isn’t as much money in the pool supply industry these days. I had to diversify in order to stay in business.” she responded with a smile. The she got a little more serious, bringing her fist up to her face as if pondering his request. Then, almost mockingly, she mimed having an idea. “Yes, I have the perfect thing for your request. Please come this way” the woman stated as she waved for him to come behind the counter, where a closed door stood. The man was hesitant at first but thought the request was innocent enough so he decided to follow. The two went through the door and started to walk into the back end of the store. Unlike the front this was in a much better condition. The space was set up like a small apartment, with a living room section as well as a basic kitchen. It almost looked habitable. The only thing out of place was a shelving unit against the back wall.
“So, what is your name?” the woman asked casually as she led the man towards the back shelving unit.
“Andy? Why” the man the man questioned.
“I always like to know my customers names. Makes it more personal, I find, in the end. If you are curious the name is Evelyn.” the woman responded to Andy as they neared the back shelving unit. At this distance Andy could make out the shelves contents more, and it seemed more of the same junk that he had seen at the front of the store.
“Are you sure you still sell pool stuff?” he asked in confusion. The man was obviously questioning Evelyn’s intelligence, but she paid it no mind.
“Of course dear, I have plenty of listings online after all. And of course I need to mention in case you get any idea’s this room is soundproof” Evelyn commented as she stopped before the shelving unit. She didn’t make an attempt to search through it’s contents but instead turned to face the man.
“What! No. You are the one who told me to come to the back. I am not sure what I did to offend you but I have no interest in committing a crime” Andy stated with shock. The made thought he was being accused of a crime. He backed up a step, but didn’t make an attempt to leave.
“Apologies, that is not what I had intended to portray. What I meant to say is no matter how loud you scream nobody will be able to hear you” Evelyn clarified casually, her tone in dissonance from the meaning of her words.
“Loud you scream...” Andy muttered quietly in shock at what he had heard. There was no way this woman was strong enough to do anything to him. She was thin, pale, and dressed in an outfit that would not survive a tussle. That and she had claws. Tendrils of darkness that flowed down her arms and into what looked to be beast claws. Enormously large, the tips of her fingers now seemed to drag against the floor, but this new predicament did not seem to have an effect on the beautiful woman. But it definitely did on Andy. With every ounce of air in his lungs he did the one thing he was warned against.
“Ahhhh” he cried out as loud as he could before trying to make a break for the door. He didn’t make in one step before one of the woman’s shadow covered hands wrapped themselves around his ankles and hoisted him into the air.
“Please stop screaming” Evelyn commented with annoyance, her eyes squinting as if she was in mild pain. “This place may be sound proof but the reverberation is terrible back here.”
“Let me go you crazy bitch” the man yelled at Evelyn, seemingly uninterested in what she had to say.
“Language!” the woman growled angrily at the man before spinning her wrist, swinging the man around by his feet before smashing the length of him into the ground. The building seemed to shake from the impact, but Evenlyn did not seem satisfied, repeating the action twice more with the same ferocity before dangling an upside down Andy in front of her once more.
“There! Have you learned your lesson?” the woman questioned in a motherly tone. Andy, in a half dazed state, could not give an answer. “Well. This could have been easy. I could have done this in such a lovely way that you would have enjoyed every minute of it. But if this is the attitude I am going to get then I will do you no favors. Now I will begin and you will behave. That is an order!” The woman commanded before continuing on with a newfound lack of care for her new subject. With one hand she grabbed hold of the man’s neck, her nails digging in for leverage while leaving the other at his feet. Then, with seemingly little effort, she curled the man backwards and inserted his feet into his mouth. Though the effect on Andy was simply not a simple. His back crackled under the strain, his muscles spammed from the contortion and his mouth ached from being stretched impossibly wide to accommodate his feet.
“Mhhhhh” Andy cried out, suddenly back in the moment from the blast of pain that was erupting across ever inch of his body. Tears welled at his eyes and he tried feebly to free himself from his predicament.
“No, I said no more” Evelyn commanded. “Now be a good little boy or I can make this even harder on you”
“Mhhhm” Andy cried quieter, tears now rolling down his face. Not that Evelyn cared, she just kept on going with her grand plan. She reached of a bottle of glue from the shelf and began sealing Andy’s lips to his ankles. It was at this point that she decided to deal with his arm’s as well, before the man realized they were still free. With simple lines of glue she secured them to the core of his body, causing the man’s body to resemble a weird O like shape. It wasn’t a great job by any means, but it allowed her to put down the man.
“There, now what do I do with you?”
“MhhhH”
“No, I will not be letting you go. But I do need something to secure you on. Actually, I think I have just the thing” Evelyn commented before she rummaged around for a second on the shelf before pulling out a deflated exercise ball. “Perfect” she said with a smile before tossing the rubber into the air. It soared up about a foot before the woman snapped her finger, causing a big whoosh of air and the ball to be suddenly filled taunt. She didn’t make an effort to catch the ball on the way down, but after a few bounces she placed a hand to stabilize it, allowing a word written in black sharpie to be visible. Lyn. With the ball inflated Evelyn resumed her process. Once again she lifted Andy up, but this time she placed him sideways over the ball. It seemed like her intention was to push the ball between his head and his bum, but their clearly wasn’t enough room to do so.
“I never thought Lyn would be useful after I got bored of Yoga but now look at her” Evelyn commented as she grabbed the ring of a person. Then, with an unnatural amount of strength, she wedge him onto the exercise ball. The force of which rounded out his form into a perfectly ring with only a few mild moans of discomfort for the effort. But there was one more step to the woman’s plan, and it would take the motorized polisher she now held in her hand to do. The machine whirred to life as the woman got to work, smoothing down any features that defined the man first then polishing them out to the glistening shine. But Evelyn seemed to not be interested in a flesh colored ring, as she started to apply a health amount of blue tinted shiner to the man’s body. As the machine whirred down all that was left was a blue colored ring around the large exercise ball.
“Wonderful. Aren’t you just perfect” the woman commented as she extracted the ball from her new ring, kicking it across the room so it wouldn’t be in her way. Evelyn noticed immediately however that she had missed the spot, “just one more thing!” With a quick rev of the polisher her blue inner tube was complete, although a bit small for her. Not that a woman of her means would have any trouble with that. A snap of her finger sent air rushing into her new tube, stretching it out till it was nearly a foot and a half wide. All that was needed to complete her work was a finishing touch. A dash of permanent marker left the name Andy scribbled on the inside of the tube. Now Evelyn had the perfect pool toy, all she needed was a pool. And she knew just the place.
