“Crap crap crap!” Jess yelled as she slid down the sloped ground. All it had taken was one simple mistake to seal her fate. The door had been labeled innocently enough. Organic Packaging. The name had brought Jess hope after having wandered past so many others over the last few hours. A packaging room must lead to a shipping room and therefore a way out. But in her haste to escape the Funwall factory she had made a rather simple mistake. Checking to see if the Organic Packaging room had a floor first.

Her first step into the room had been her last as it took only a moment for her to pitch forward and begin to tumble down the incredibly steep floor. The world spun frantically for Jess as she tumbled down what seemed to be a metallic shute, her arms flailing uselessly in a vain attempt to stop her fall. Meter after meter she fell gracelessly down, only stopping when a floor rather unexpectedly appeared just inches from her face.

Thud

“Uhh” Jess moaned aloud. Her vision kept spinning after her abrupt stop and her brain throbbed painfully against her skull. Likes waves at the beach the panels of the walls washed past her in rhythm to her throbbing head, giving the girl the illusion that the room was moving. It was too much for Jess, who closed her eyes and began to rub them in some sort of attempt to regain control of her vision.

“Organic matter detected, beginning process” an electric voice called out. Jesses eyes shot open as a panic set in with the connotation of what the voice had said. Was the voice talking about her? Her eyes darted around, quickly identifying that she was in some sort of small hallway. She noted a rectangular opening in the ceiling at the other end of the hallway. A way out? Jess questioned in her head as she tried to identify the hole she had fallen through above her. There was no hole, only a large square sheet of polished metal that filled her vision. Everything clicked into place for the poor girl.

Click

The ceiling dropped without warning, giving Jess only the faintest moment to cry out before cool metal pulverized her face. The unyielding force slammed into the girl, who crumpled under the powered piston. The solid metal plate slammed into the floor with little resistance, with only the muted ring of the impact being any indicator of the girl that had stood there prior. All was still for a moment before the piston began to retract with a hiss, revealing a thin rectangular sheet of organic matter. Where Jess once stood was a layer of material, with a strip of blue and green serving as a background to Jesse’s cartoonishly bloated and enlarged face with her squashed hands being presented beside it. But the press had done little to the crushed girls mind however, leaving her perfectly aware for what was about to come.

“Phase one complete. Starting with phase two. Operator, please select a size… No input detected, using prior configuration” the machine voice called out again. What just happened? Size? Operator? the questions raced through Jesse’s head as she was unable to grasp what had just happened. She wanted to move, to flea, but her body refused to respond to her command. All Jesse could do was watch as a gap opened in the wall next to her and her body was transferred into the next room over. The only this she could do was be a spectator to her own demise.

The convener belt transferred the flattened sheet of a girl over to the next chamber of the machine. The space was similar to the last, with the only difference being what now rested above. From her place below Jess could make out what looked to be traces of glistening silver, like abstract line art, arranged in some sort of odd pattern.

“Beginning phase two now. As a safety precaution we at the FunWall factory would like to remind you to keep all external appendages away from the machine. Thank you” the automated voice rang out as the traces of silver on the ceiling above Jess clicked and began to descend. But these traces of silver were more dastardly than they appeared, as soon they revealed themselves to actually be knife like blades. Unlike the press before, this room took its time with its victim. At a snails pace the blades descended, inching closer and closer by the second. All the flattened girl could do was watch, eyes slowly tracing the blades path as they approached her skin. The slowness nibbled at Jesse’s mind as her initial panic at seeing the descending blades slowly warped to her begging from them to stop taunting her and get it over with. It was almost a blessing for the girl as the sharp, cold metal bit into her skin and flesh, carving their painful linear patterns through her.

“Phase two complete. Transferring to the final station” the automated machine rang out once more, before the convener belt underneath Jess whirred to life once more, taking her through another port and into a large open room. Or at least Jess assumed that, as she could only spot the wall she came through from her precarious position. “Beginning the final phase”

Metal claws came from the girls blind spot, quickly grabbing on to different edges and surfaces of the girl in their cold grip. With mechanical precision the claws peeled pre cut section of the girl up and away from herself, assembling a rectangular fence of Jesse’s self around her face.. This left Jess with only a small, square view of the ceiling from her position as the claws began to apply tape down her seams, locking her into place. All that was left free were little flaps of Jess, presumably ready for when the claws decided to finish their job. Whatever leftover shreds of material that were still left on the table were tossed carelessly into the new box to serve as an economical packing material for whatever was added in later.

“Package complete. Waiting for product.”
