“Hey Sarah?” asked Sam as she dug through the cupboard above the sink.

“Yeah?” Sarah responded in confusion.

“Are all the glasses in the dishwasher?”

“I don’t know. Why, can you not find any?”

“I’m looking, but I can’t seem to find any”

“Then I guess they’re all in the dishwasher” Sarah answered nonchalantly. Sam gave up her search in the cabinet and made her way over casually to Sarah, who turned in her seat to address her roommate. She immediately noticed the gleam in her friends eyes, the smile on Sam’s lips giving away her intent. “No wamphffff” was all  she could get out before both of Sam’s hands shot in her mouth, thumbs hooked around the outside.

“No what?” Sam asked as she pretended what she was doing was normal as the girl pulled her arms wide as Sarah struggled in her grasp. Guttural whining emanated from the girls stretched mouth, tongue flapping as she tried to make words. Sarah tried to struggle, flailing her arms against her roommates. But it was ineffective. Now Sam put her back into it, pushing down on her friend as she twisted back and forth to gain extra leverage, allowing her to slowly shape Sarah into a very lumpy pot like shape.

“Well this isn’t going how I planned it” Sam commented aloud as she stared down at her handiwork. It was obvious that Sarah was still too large for what she had intended, and the flapping tongue was going to make it awkward. She thought aloud about maybe using a potter’s wheel to reshape her friend into shape, only to be reminded that no normal household owns a potter’s wheel. Instead the next best thing would have to do. Repurposing a dust covered Lazy Susan would have to be enough.

She placed her friend dead center on the spinning tray, before sending it spinning as fast as she could. Her pot like friends' features began to blur under the speed, giving Sam hope that this would work. But the second she dug her fingers into her malleable friend the tray would lose all momentum, forcing her to spin it up to speed again. This repeated again and again as Sam’s technique slowly evolved into more smashing and pulling than clay shaping. With a less than satisfying result she was finished. There, on the Lazy Susan, was a lopsided, off center, bulbously, semi cylindrical vessel, but at least it would be able to hold water and could be held with one hand.

Sam picked up her friend once more, deforming the rubber cup a little as she made her way over to the sink to fill her up. The sink gurgled as the cool water began to flow into the cup.

“Well, bottoms up I guess” Sam  said to nobody in particular as she placed the vessel to her lips and began to drink. The cool, refreshing water immediately greeted her mouth, but the sponginess of the rim was a little off putting. She took a pause to inspect, only to realize  her mouth had been over her friend’s tongue. Sam blushed a little from the indirect kiss, smiling a little from embarrassment before finishing off the cup.

With the task done Sam popped open the dishwasher and placed her makeshift cup inside, not really wanting to clean her friend by hand. With the dishwasher closed and a clean cycle started she looked up, only to spot a clean glass in the drying rack.

“Oops”
