[Story contains transformation, if that's not your thing sorry]

Weeks of planning had gone into the plan. ‘Finally’ Elastacy thought to herself as she felt the crate she was hiding in vibrate and lift off the ground, swinging around in the air as it was being loaded onto a ship. The rubbery girl had been dealing with small time hero’s for months now, using her rubbery powers to capture or destroy them. But she wanted to be more than just a petty hero. The hero’s goal was to capture the infamous villain Captain Pain, one of the few remaining pirates of the open sea. If all went well our hero was to be loaded onto her ship. Captain Pain was a notorious witch, using an enchanted galleon to rob ships all across the Pacific sea. She had to be stopped, and for Elastacy this was going to be her ticket to the big league.

The crate holding the superhero settled down, probably in the hold a ship. She waited, bidding her time till she could escape without being spotted. Twenty, no, thirty minutes passed. Elastacy wasn’t sure but she was starting to go stir crazy in the box. She couldn’t stand in a moment longer, she had to get out. Pulling two boards out of the side of the box, the superhero slithered out of the box, using her rubbery form to get out of the unusually tight opening. Finally free, she paused for a moment, listening for any movement. The sound of a rat running about, the dripping of water, and a few footsteps from above.

“Few, finally out of that crate. Any longer and I might have started to sympathize with my online orders” Elastacy commented out loud. The superhero looked at one of the other crates, raw curiosity driving her to find out more of what the infamous pirate was shipping. The crate, conveniently, had a label listing out a variety of spices and herbs destined for London. The one of the other details caught her eye.

“There!” Elastacy shouted aloud, before immediately covering her mouth at her foolishness. She placed a finger next to one line of the label, confirming that she didn’t make a mistake.

“Shipping Facilitator: Captain Pain (Formal Name: Elizabeth Megroth)”

Huh, the famous pirate is named Elizabeth, who knew” Elastacy commented casually, the evidence confirming that she was on the right ship. This was the moment for her, it was her time to shine.

She sneaked through the cargo hold to the exit, feeling a pang of concern as to why she did not encounter anyone. The stairs leading up were also quiet. The hero arrived at the next floors landing, which gave her two options. First, she could continue up the stairs, which most likely led up to the deck of the vessel, or she could go through the door here and explore the ship more. Elastacy knew that the captains quarters were on the main deck, and that whatever was behind this door would not help her in the slightest, but curiosity got the better of her. She cracked the door, the sounds echoing from inside a clear indication as to the rooms purpose.

“Well that explains the lack of crew” Elastacy took note, commenting on the sounds of snoring that were starting to fill the stairwell along with an ugly stench. The door closed with a quiet click under the hero’s grasp as she returned back to the task at hand. Taking the stairs two at a time, she raced up to the deck. A giddy excitement drove Elastacy now as images of her turning over the notorious pirate to the police filled her head. She arrived at the deck, immediately noticing it was empty. Across the ship was the captains quarters, with a warm, inviting light leaking out from underneath. Without a pause, Elastacy was across the deck, reaching out for the knob of the door without even thinking. But the hero regained control just in time, thinking there might be a better way.

There were two sets of stairs, flanking the woman, which led to the wheel of the ship. Trying her best to sneak, the hero sneaked up the stairs and across to the rear of the boat. Elastacy glanced down and almost jumped in joy at her luck. The windows were open, she would be able to sneak in. Wrapping her hand around the railing a few times she prepared for her descent. Using her stretchy form to her advantage, the hero descended till she was level with the window, allowing her to peer inside. “Perfect” she thought. Sitting at a large oak desk, less than ten feet from the window sat the notorious pirate. Her long messily curled red hair a stark contract to the gray leather coat and cap she was wearing. Elastacy let herself in, a plan forming in her head. One swift hit to the back of the pirates head would be enough. Ready, she started forward

CREAK

The sound split through the air. Captain Pain paused what she was doing and calmly put her pen down before starting to turn her chair around. Elastacy panicked, the element of surprise was gone and she was about to lose the initiative.

“In the name of law and order I, Elastacy, will bring you to justice. Surrender now or face my justice!” the hero shouted out loud.

The captain made no immediate attempt to answer, instead fully rotating her chair and crossing her legs and resting her back fully into the chair. Her face carried a smile like a mother bemused by her child’s antics.

“How lovely.” the captain commented, a thick Germanic accent thickened her words. “It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance miss, Elastacy? That was it, yes? Well, Elastacy, I presume you are the stowaway aboard my ship?”

“Um, yes. Wait… you knew?” the hero was baffled by the response. She wasn’t used to dealing with such high class villains and was feeling very out of place.

“Perfect. And, miss Elastacy, are you aware of what I do to stowaways aboard my vessel?”

“Fight them I guess”

“You are only half right. A fight implies a challenge”

“Um, excuse me” Elastacy answered annoyed. She prepped her fists, ready to put this woman in her place.

“Ah, yes, you are excused. So please try to avoid getting your ashes on any of my valuables. Please.” the captain asked as she snapped her fingers and suddenly the room was covered in flames, hovering about all the furniture and the finishing while leaving a circle of space around the hero. The room temperature jumped from comfortable to sweltering in a second, leaving the hero light headed in the process. Elastacy, realizing her predicament, changed tongue to save her hide.

“Can we… uh… talk about this?” the hero asked.

“No ” Captain Pain responded, raising her hand in preparation to snap again. Elastacy knew she had moments to react. Left to right she scanned, spotted something, and immediately flung herself towards it. The elastic girl flew perpendicular to the villain, flying through the air towards a small cooking station. Right there was a large, cast iron soup pot. It was going to be tight, but she made it just in time, tucking her jumble of limbs into the pot and pulling the lid shut. The room filled with fire, the roar of which making the pot ring like a bell. Elastacy thought she was done for, as the pot walls started to heat up. But whatever the spell was it didn’t seem to last long.

“Let’s hope that was the most of her flashy tricks” Elastacy though before going to remove the lid. It didn’t budge, worse yet the hero could not feel the roughness of the cast iron, instead it felt more like solid glass. She started to pound away at the lid, trying desperately to break out of the pot. But there was nothing Elastacy could do, she was stuck. Just as hope left her the lid moved away from the pot, lifted up to reveal the captain staring down at her with a look of innocence.

“Well, well, what are we serving tonight?” the captain asked casually. Elastacy was desperate and didn’t answer, instead putting all her energy into her next move.

“AHH!” yelled the curled up her as she tried to spring up to grab the villain, only to smash into an invisible wall. Stars filled her vision for a bit, but when they didn’t fade away she realized they actually were there like a film of magic sealing the pot closed.

“Well this is a first. I would like to give you a heartfelt congratulation. Usually the fire takes care of would be attackers but you managed to survive. So my dear, Elastacy was it? What should I do with you?”

“Let me go?” Elastacy asked hopefully, earning a full laugh from the villain.

“Let you go? Just like that? Please dear, I couldn’t possibly do that. If I let you go without some sort of punishment then it would attract the wrong set of attention.”

“I’m going to die, ain’t I?” the defeated Elastacy asked.

“Well, here is what we shall do. You will tell me exactly how your ability here works and then we will see.”

“I don’t really have a choice, do I?”

“None at all. I will give you a little hint about that spell I just cast before. As a sign of good faith. You see, it would be very expensive if I roasted my entire room whenever somebody thinks they can defeat me. Instead, I can choose element of the decor to ignore, like the pot you are in. But if I wanted to I could choose just to roast this pot and get a very cooked hero. Understood?”

“Yes” responded Elastacy, hoping the pirate was being truthful about sparing her. She went on to explain. “Basically my body is like rubber. It can be melted, stretched, chopped up and reformed.”

“Sounds like you are very indestructible.” Elizabeth commented.

“Very, back when I was a teen my friend and I tested the extent of my power by running me over with a steam roller.” the hero described

“And?” the captain asked, an interested look in her face.

“What do you mean ‘and’?”

“Tell me the rest” ordered her captor and Elastacy felt the pot start to heat up around her.

“Ah yes, right.” the pot cooled again. “After my friend hung me on the wall for like a couple days before I could even twitch, let alone move.” the hero finished her story.

“Ah, so the indestructible is a victim of her own powers.”

“Yes, I guess you could out it that way.” notes Elastacy, mentally realizing she had just revealed her biggest weakness to the woman.

“Well Elastacy” the captain stated as she reached in to pinch the hero’s cheek. “Your secret is safe with me.”

“Does this mean…” the hero stated, hopeful at the possible change to her fate.

“Yes, I will not kill you. Now that you have perked my interest of course.”

“Yes! Thank you!” she tried to jump up and hug the woman in relief, only to collide with the invisible lid again. The pirate laughed again.

“Oh how silly you are!” laughed Elizabeth. “Did you forget the rest of the deal?”

“Right...”

“Don’t worry. This will be fun. Well, fun for me. I have the perfect plan for you” she the trapped girl on the nose to emphasize her point. “Now, Jerome!” Eizabeth called out. Suddenly a well dressed man in a butler’s suit came out of one of the side rooms.

“Yes madame?” the graying man asked.

“Please fetch Obert, awaken him if necessary. Also please inform him to bring his kit.” the captain ordered.

“As you wish” the man stated before departing.

“I will have to apologize but it is getting dreadfully late. You have been an interesting turn of events for my evening so I must say thank you”

“You’re welcome?” Elastacy responded cautiously.

“Well, as they say, ‘No hard feelings’ right” Captain Pain closed the lid of the pot, plunging the hero into darkness.

“Great.” she commented to herself, her voice bouncing off the walls of the pot. Elastacy didn’t know what was going to come next, but she wanted to be ready for it. Was it torture, embarrassment, she didn’t know for sure, but she tried to harden her mind to face the coming challenge. Which didn’t go too well, as the hero discovered the soles of her feet were basically jammed up under her chin, distracting her to no end. She tried to move her feet, but it was too late. The pot started to heat up around the trapped woman, growing hotter with each passing second. Elastacy thanked the heavens it was a regular heat, instead of one of Captain Pain’s scorchers, even if she knew what was going to happen next.

The warmth started to seep out of the pot, digging into the rubbery girls flesh. It wormed it’s way in, creating a doughy consistency as it passed, breaking down the very structure that made the woman who she was. Her body started to drip, forming a tanish ooze at the bottom of the pan. The heat got to Elastacy’s head as well, making it hard to focus as she broke down into her most basic element. Rubber. She pooled in the pan, her own melted body boiling her like an ice cube in a steaming pot. In her hazy state, Elastacy reflected that this was not the worst was to be melted. The last time this happened she ended up getting stuck in a hot tub’s filter. Eventually her face melted into herself, blocking off her grasp of reality.

How long it took for her features to float back to the surface the hero did not know, but she was just in time to observe the lid of the pot open and Elizabeth’s face to peer back in.

“Well, Elastacy, you were not lying when you said you could melt” she commented as she passed a finger around in the pot. “Not kidding at all… Obert!”

“Yes Maim” A craggy male voice responded. An ugly head fo a man with one eye covered joined the captain over the pot. His face was covered in burn marks and some of his hair was missing.

“What do you think? Maybe the 32 pounder?” the captain asked her crew mate.

“Nay maim, probably going to need a 42 for this ‘ere” Obert observed.

“Very well, off you go. Prepare your things, I will be out shortly.” the woman commanded.

32? 42? What are they talking about?’ Elastacy questioned to herself, unable to talk through her melted vocal cords.

The captain turned her attention back to the superhero. “Well then Elastacy. We just can’t keep the man waiting!” she casually grabbed the pot’s handles and slugged it off the stove. The liquefied hero sloshed violently around, splashing against the invisible barrier of the pots lid. She was hauled to the door, which stood no chance against Captain Pain’s foot, before being brought outside. The moon stood at the apex of the night sky, fully in view of her trapped form.

“Well Obert, are we ready to go?”

“Yes maim”

“Perfect. Grab the other handle and we will start.”

“Yes maim” Obert answered again before grabbing on of the pot’s handles while Elizabeth grabbed the other. The two of them picked up the watery hero with ease. Concern filled the hero’s melted brain, trying to figure out why it would take the two of them for something.

“Alright, nice and easy. On three” stated the scarred man.”One. Two. Three!” the pot started to tip to one side, sending the hero closer and closer to the edge. Worry started to creep into her mind, was she being tipped overboard? There was nothing Elastacy could do, doomed to whatever fate the captain had chosen as she edged nearer and neared to the rim. Then it happened. A littler of her form when over the edge, the surface tension pulling more and more of the melted woman over the edge. Her feature, resting on top of her form, raced towards the edge. Confusion set in for the woman, as the hero started to feel her form pooling on something hard down below. Not that she would have long to wonder, as the Elastacy’s features crested the edge of the pot, and plummeted into a black hole.

She splashed into herself, completely encased into the darkness. There was no rest for the woman, as more and ore of her liquefied form came rushing in, to what must have been a container of some sorts.. Her features sunk down once more, driven on by the onslaught of mass, till the lass drop of her body left the pot. Her moment was over, whatever they had wanted to do they had done. She had survived, for now.

‘EEK’ the thought shot though Elastacy’s mind, suddenly clear from a blast of icy coldness sppeing from her metallic prison. The woman tensed up, solidifying within the mold as the icy chill gripped her. Then a dark grey of night met her eyes, which were stuck wide open against her exterior from the icy shock, as she plummeted into the deck with a hard thud.

“Ey, watch my ship Obert” Elizabeth commented as Elastacy’s vision started to spin “and where do you think you are going?” she commanded at the hero. Not that Elastacy had any control as she made her way towards the ships railing. The captain walked over to her and picked up the hero, giving her a massive appreciation of her current predicament as suddenly she was multiple stories up and being held my and even taller woman.

“Should I store it with the rest of the munition maim?” Obert asked.

Munition?’ Elastacy asked herself in her mind, no longer slowed by the lulling heat.

“No need Obert. This one I will handle. Your presence is no longer needed. You are dismissed.”

“Aye main” Obert took his que and left while the captain and her prey returned to the captains chambers. Elizabeth brought the trapped hero to her desk, placing her in a used wooden bowl to stop her from rolling any more.

“Apologizes my dear. But it has become late and I must be off. Good night to you” Elizabeth commented, not waiting for a response. Instead she clicked off the lights and climbed into a bed at the end of the room. Elastacy was left there, uncomfortable, and stuck with her thoughts. Thoughts passed through her head as to what she was and what she was going to be used for, but they went nowhere. She knew little of sea fare, and little more of what a pirate would use her for. Even with the thoughts racing through her head, and her inability to close her eyes, sleep reached the hero.

“Rise and shine” said Captain Pain, tapping her hard nails on Elastacy’s head. The vibration shook the hero awake strait away, not that there was any noticeable difference to the captain, who kept tapping a away for good measure. “Well, ready or not your big moment is here. I hope you enjoy my flair for the theatrics.” Elizabeth scooped the defeated hero into her hands before heading out the door. The deck was packed with pirates, who had all been called up for a word from the captain.

“Hello all you wastes of space. Do you know why I have called you all onto my deck?” called Captain Pain to her crew. Nobody answered, but a murmur ran through the crowd. “Nobody? Well, I’ll tell y’all. For being the crew of the famous Captain Pain you are not very bright. You see, an intruder attacked your captain last night” Elizabeth paused for affect, allowing the shock to play through the crowd as fear of punishment from the witch danced at the backs of their minds. “And her she is!” the captain shouted as she held up Elastacy for all to see, spinning her left to right for all to get a good look at her face. The captain walked through the crowd as they erupted in laughter, constantly being turned this way and that to show off her predicament. “Well, I have a special ‘present’ for our new guest here. How about it boys, should I show it to her?”

“Yeah” a resounding shout in unison rang from the crowd. Captain Pain, satisfied with the response, lowered Elastacy down, who was suddenly dwarfed by the massive opening of a large metal tube.

“Well, in you go” Elizabeth quietly said to the trapped woman as she placed her guest into the tube. Suddenly the hero’s world started to spin, faster and faster, as she rolled down thje tube before hitting a thick, powdery substance. Thankfully she could still see out the tube, where a wide expanse of water and a small little city off in the distance resided.

Wait, is that Portsmith city?’ Elastacy questioned to herself, not quite sure why she was being shown her city from this distance. Someone decided to finally fill her in, her red hair blocking her view for one final chat.

“Just so you know, you are currently loaded into my largest cannon” Elizabeth commented.

Cannon?!? the hero’s thought was like a shout as panic filled her

“That and we also double loaded the gunpowder. Have fun!” Captain Pain commented with a toying tilt to her lips. She looked up, scrunching her face as she realized something she didn’t like. “No! Fools! Angle it higher!” she shouted down to the other side of the cannon. Suddenly the hero’s view started to shift up, quickly being filled with nothing but the sky. The panic turned to terror as Elastacy knew this was it. The seconds dragged on, painfully slow as Captain Pain took full pleasure in these last moment of torture for the trapped hero.

BANG

A searing white hot pain, a blinding flash, a howling of wind, and the feeling of her skin being peeled at as she took off into the sky. She couldn’t see, but it felt like she was flying and spinning fast. The blinding turned to stars as Elastacy started to get a view of her surroundings, quickly as she spun. Captain Pain’s ship was a small speck in the distance. The city was starting to grow in size, but the hero was already losing altitude.

Am I going to make it?’ Elastacy worried as the water started to approach. She was nowhere near. The hero was not going to make it.

SMACK

She hit the water hard, her face denting in from the impact before flying back into the air. All Elastacy could do was groan as she knew what was going to happen next. Like a skipping stone with immense speed she slammed time and time again across the oceans surface, deforming more and more with each hit while rapidly spinning out of control. The time between hits was getting shorter, she was losing speed, was this it for our rubbery hero.

SPSHHHHHH

Sand exploded around her as she smashed into the beach, tossing sand aside in all directions. She ground to a halt, the sand buffering her smooth. A secondary explosion, this time of relief, flooded the balled up hero. She didn’t care that she would be stuck her for some time, or that her costume was most likely singed off. All that mattered was that she was not stuck somewhere at the bottom of the ocean that, now that she was thinking about it, would probably kept her compressed if she went too deep. Note for later. Did she just escape from the Pirate Queen, was this just the beginning, only time would tell.
