There you stood, just outside the kitchen where your best friend stood cleaning. You take a quick breath, readying yourself as you enter the kitchen quickly with two things hidden behind your back.
“So you know how I said I was over that new fad.” You said aloud, startling your friend as she didn’t hear you coming. “Well” you continued, “I lied!” the laser appeared from behind your back, pointed right at your target. She looked at you with a shock in her eyes, which quickly turned into a pleading expression as she realized what was next. No regrets, you thought, as an orange beam of energy shot out from the laser and engulfed your friend. There was little struggle as your ex best friend began to mash into herself and collapse onto the ground.

It was over in a second, with a colorful puddle where the target once stood. You revealed your other hand from behind your back, showing off one of your tighter fitting white shirts that you had turned inside out in preparation for this. You made your way over to the puddle, placing the laser on the counter as you went.  Kneeling, you place the shirt center on the mess, making sure the face is dead center. The material slowly began to soak through, taking some of the liquid with it.

Once one side as saturated you quickly flipped it over to the other, making sure to not miss a drop. Lifting the shirt up left not a trace on the floor, and one flick of the wrists turned the shirt inside out to reveal your work. Plastered right across the chest was your friends face still twitching in show as to what had occurred. Wrapping around the body of the piece and the arms was the rest, fining a spot wherever the material would take.

“Just one more step” you muttered to yourself as you opened a nearby cabinet, causing an ironing board to fall out into its ready position. You plugged in the included iron, annoyed that you would have to wait. The dampness from your new shirt was seeping into your hand, a constant reminder that you could turn back. You could see your friends face on the front, the same expression stared back at you. A beep indicated the iron was hot, interrupting your thoughts. You placed your friends new body down carefully, making sure to avoid wrinkles. With hot iron in hand you finished the job. Where the iron passed, the material when from damp to dry sealing your friend into the very fibers of the shirt. Up and down you went, passing over the shoulders and arms in the process till there was not a bit of dampness left.

Passing a hand down the shirt sent a shiver down your spine, and what felt like another answered your fingers. Wasting no time, you picked up your friend and put her on. The shirt hugged your body, stretching your friends already distorted features more as the shirt settled into place. Good choice on your part, you thought, the exact reason you chose this white shirt. The design was perfect, almost an exact match to the ones in the latest fashion magazines. Sure your friend wouldn’t be happy with being made into a permanent design, but what friend wouldn’t jump at an opportunity to become this close to their bestie!
