Lots to say about this one;<br />Sometime last year I spoke to ~<a class="u" href="https://edstorm.deviantart.com">EdStorm</a> about his 'Pest Control' upload in which we discussed the wonderfully surreal and darkly quirky nature of it. He is a much better writer than I am but he let me have free reign of his concept to pull a story from. Numerous failed attempts led me to give up on it for quite a long time until recently (following my Pleasure Cruise upload) where i began musing over writing Pest Control in the new writing style that I'm practising.<br />Following a comment from Ed on my journal letting me know that he hadn't forgotten about it either I set to working on it...<br /><br />But things didnt go too well. Originally i had been attracted by the surreal nature of Ed's piece, I myself love surrealism, so imagine the annoyance when i try to craft a story that doesn't end up the way i want it to or anything at all like the original image that inspired it. I didn't feel too hot and don't feel too happy with it. Though the epilogue was something that just came to me once i had finished the story, i don't know if it fits or if it enhances what had happened previously...
