Alas, it was still something I regrettably did (and will never do again), but it wasn't all bad, at least I got to disembark with some happy memories.&nbsp;<br />After having spent almost a year at sea on a floating city I had begun to get a little stir-crazy. I'm sure most people would have described my mental condition as homesickness or some sort of exotic psychological complex, but as far as I'm concerned the apt diagnosis for my mental state was 'thoroughly irritated'. Night after night and day after day there were fireworks and parties and loud music and screaming adults and shrieking kids, it was horrible, it was how I imagined living in Las Vegas would be.
