*White Owl belongs to White0wlSuperheroine
Young Jenny Lawson of Queen City sat quietly with her parents in her family home's lounge squeezing her soft plush teddy bear in her arms. Sat in front of the family's 50 inch high definition flat screen television set (which had set her father back a couple of thousand dollars), Jenny watched as the breaking news broadcast (that had been playing for hours now and had ran long into the night) continued to deliver the harrowing footage of an imperiled White Owl, Queen City's well known and much loved resident super-heroine.
The news footage rotated and alternated between feeds with different vantage points but they all showed the same scene; White Owl had been bound to the spire of Queen City's tallest building and encased within an impenetrable force-field which appeared to repress her powers. With her legs, arms and even mouth bound to the spire by the shadow-cloaked fiend White Owl had no choice but to struggle helplessly in a futile attempt to regain her freedom while Queen City and the rest of the world watched.
White Owl had felt her powers ebb away the second that the force-field had been summoned around her, she knew she was helpless but not beyond hope; she'd found herself in situations like this before, bound and gagged with no where to run and she had always found a means of escape. As she struggled the spotlights from the roaming news helicopters would occasionally blind her and remind her that footage of her perilous situation was soon going to be used as fetish fuel for the perverted masses of the world via the internet, it was hard not to grimace (and at the same time feel somewhat flattered) at the thought each time it passed through her mind.
To White Owl the minutes she spent struggling in front of the TV cameras felt like hours, she wanted it to be over and done with even though she knew it'd never be forgotten now that it was being fed to TVs across the globe and probably trending on Twitter. Another searchlight crawled over her bound body but then suddenly turned its attention skyward...
The tight cleave gag that had been tied between her teeth and then tied to the spire she was bound to made it hard for White Owl to follow the searchlight that had feverishly flung its gaze to the sky above but by curving her back, craning her neck and forcing her eyes to look as far up as they could White Owl soon saw what had attracted the searchlight's attention.
Not far above the spire that White Owl was bound to was an encroaching thunderhead. Upon seeing the heavy storm clouds gathering above her White Owl struggled frantically in a desperate to rid herself of her bonds and find the superhuman strength that had been drained from her body before the clouds could rain lightning and pain down upon her.
Within moments of the clouds forming a heavy deluge of rain flooded thee sky and mad it difficult for White Owl to see out into the distance beyond the force-field surrounding her. Struggling with what little energy she had left White Owl fought against her bonds with a rising panic in heart heart, she knew it'd only be a matter of minutes before lightning hit the spire in which she was bound to, and no doubt the force-field would do little to impede the lightning's desired effect. White Owl's muscles ached, her unnatural bonds gave no sway to her efforts, she took a deep calming breath (although it did little to actually calm her) and ceased her struggling, it was time to abandon all hope...
As White Owl rested helplessly in her bonds she watched with a rising sense of danger as the immediate space in front of her began to grow dark, it was the shadow-cloaked fiend that had imprisoned her. Within moments the shadow fiend was floating fully formed in front of White Owl (though his fully revealed for still left almost everything to the imagination). Somehow the shadow felt as if it were smiling as it raised, what White Owl assumed was its hand, to her breast. The sound of the rain and random cracks of thunder made it hard to hear but White Owl knew that the material of her costume was being ripped, the cool air on her newly exposed flesh was proof enough. White Owl glared and bit down hard on her gag as the shadow's hand sliced through more of her clothing but her stern expression did nothing to deter its action.
"Oh... to be you..." hissed the shadow with a voice that negated gender or race. "To exist... in light... The people of this world do not see me. But... they see you. Time within this void which encompasses you does not exist... You will remain here at my behest for all time and through you I... will know what it feels like... to be seen by this world."
Upon hearing the shadow's words White Owl's eyes widened and her breathing fell heavy, she screamed panicked threats through her tight and cruel gag and writhed in defiance against her bonds as the shadow began to fade away.
"Behold the light... of a new day." Whispered the shadow as it disappeared entirely.
The rain and lightning seemed to stop almost immediately after the shadow had vanished, the clouds began to dissipate and White Owl could once again see through the force-field (or timeless imprisoning void as she now knew it...) and out into the world, the sun was beginning to rise in the distance. The news helicopters once again shone their searchlights over White Owl, whose semi naked body was now exposed for the world to see, until the sun had risen high enough that they were no longer needed...
Holding her teddy bear closer than before Jenny Lawson turned to her parents who were both staring at the 50inch HD screen (and White Owl's semi naked form) and asked "Daddy, why doesn't White Owl's chest hang further down like mummy's?"
