It was late on a Sunday evening, E3 2015 would be starting in just a couple of hours. Being the avid video game nerd that I am I had asked some friends if any of them would like to crash at my place to play some video games, eat some junk food and go through the motions of E3 together.

My close friend Charlotte had been the only one without plans that night and so had accepted my offer. Meeting up at 5pm in town we took the train back to my place. To me, it felt as if 2am on Monday morning (E3's start time) was a time that'd never come, but I knew that with Charlotte for company I'd soon forget the time and E3 would be upon me before i knew it. We dropped off our bags and shoes and coats as we entered the front door then quickly stepped up the stairs and into my bedroom.

"Wow, you've got a lot of consoles!" noted Charlotte as she drank in the sight of my bedroom for the first time.

"Yeah, they're like my family. Lots of good memories."

"NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, Wii U... Nintendo fan-girl much?!" Somehow the way she said it sounded like an insult.

"I know what I like..."

"No Playstation, no Xbox?" she questioned with a tone of rising disappointment.

"There's a Playstation 3 somewhere..."

"Can't we play that?!" asked Charlotte, her voice suddenly full of desperate hope.

"If you can find it... What's wrong with Nintendo?" I asked bluntly.

"Please! All those kiddie games, saving the princess over and over. And that annoying one where it makes such a song and dance about opening chests and there's never anything good at the end of it..."

"You mean Zelda?"

"Yeah, I hate him!"

"He's not called... Nevermind." I replied with a sigh.

"So, PS3?"

"You can play it if you can find it." I said with an indifferent tone while I loaded the Wii U up and sat on the bed a mere foot away from my 50inch flat screen TV. "But while you look I'm gonna take M-Zero online and deal some blue she-MMPH!!"

"Oh I don't think so." hissed Charlotte in a domineering tone with her hand over my mouth. "You don't get to game until I do. That is the spirit of multiplayer after all, isn't it?!"

"Mmhhmmph?" I replied, half aroused and half disappointed that I wasn't going to get to play Mario Kart anymore...

Taking her hand from my mouth and pinning me face down on the bed with her body as she straddled me, Charlotte reached over to the N64, the first console she could lay her hands on (which were all in an open faced cabinet beneath the TV), and pulled all four of the console's controllers out of their sockets. In no time at all Charlotte had bound my wrists behind my back with two of the four controllers, their thin and long plastic coated wires made surprisingly effective restraints. She then used the remaining two N64 controllers to bind my elbows together (damn my flexible limbs).

Charlotte reached into the open faced cabinet again and pulled another controller away from its associated hardware. "Open up, Keira." she said in a stern tone.

"I don't wanna!" I said through gritted teeth only to have Charlotte then pinch my nose so that I had no choice but to open my mouth.

I groaned as a thick piece of long gold plastic was pulled into my mouth as if it were a bit gag, it was the Wii remote. Holding the remote in place with one hand, Charlotte pulled me over on the bed closer to my bedside cabinet and began rummaging around in my drawers. It wasn't long before she found what she was looking for, a roll of duct tape.

"I knew you'd have some tape by your bed." said Charlotte with a tone of knowing pride in her voice.

Still holding the Wii remote between my teeth (which was a pretty tight fit) with one hand, she quickly began snaking the thick roll of duct tape around my head, over my lips and over the Wii remote to keep it in place.

What an insulting gag, there weren't any good games on the Wii... I thought to myself. Irritatingly the Wii remote had made a rather effective gag... maybe I could get some use out of it after all considering there was no reason to actually use it for gaming purposes.

Reaching over to the cabinet one last time, Charlotte pulled the four controllers from the GameCube and quickly bound my ankles and thighs just above the knee. At this point I had stopped struggling and just let her get on with binding me knowing that it'd be pointless to waste any more energy. The wires of the GameCube controllers, like that N64 controllers, had made effective bonds.

Happy with how I was bound (thankfully, since I really didn't want to be hogtied), Charlotte stood up from the bed and began searching my room for the PS3 and its wares. It took her twenty minutes to pull my bedroom apart and another fifteen to actually find the PS3 while I lay helpless own my own bed struggling with the rising discomfort that the Wii remote gag was causing me.

"Aww man, all these games are single player!" sighed Charlotte as she inspected a box full of PS3 games that she'd pulled from the wreckage of my bedroom. "I guess that means we'll both be kind of tied up for the rest of the night, huh?" she said with a smile.

"Mmmmphh!!" I cried through my Wii remote gag as Charlotte disconnected my Wii U, wired up the PS3 and sat beside me on the bed...

"Don't be mad, it'll be 2AM before you know it... though, you really don't need your feet, hands or mouth to watch a video stream do you..."

"Mmmmhmmmrrrmmm!" I mumbled as I relaxed into my bonds and readied myself for a long and uncomfortable night, at least Charlotte had loaded up Journey, I wouldn't mind watching her play that, it was a fairly decent game after all, so maybe things wouldn't be too bad... for now.
