"Come out, come out wherever you are..." coaxed Juri as she made her tentative way through the darkened halls of the abandoned underground S.I.N facility. "Its not nice to keep a girl waiting..."

With the device in her left eye (known as the Feng Shui Engine) activated, Juri was able to monitor her surroundings for any potential threats and edge her way through the all-encompassing darkness of the halls with relative ease. The source of her incredible physical strength, stamina and speed, the Feng Shui Engine had granted Juri countless victories over her foes, including the former leader of S.I.N, Seth.
Now, with Seth defeated, Juri had followed a mysterious invitation into the bowels of an abandoned S.I.N facility in search of an individual calling himself Arcturus.

In the invitation Arcturus had declared himself to Juri as the true leader of S.I.N and an admirer of her skills...

"This is so dull!" moaned Juri to herself as she surveyed the area. "C'mon baby, life is short, especially yours! Don't want to waste it do you?"

Suddenly, a click in the distance caught Juri's attention. Her Feng Shui Engine could determine threats based on their thermal, nuclear or kinetic energies, but for all of her searching there was nothing to be found. The click had sounded metallic, like metal lightly flicking against metal...

"Grr! Come out and fight, you damn cowa-UGHH!!" An explosion, the sound of a gunshot, echoed through the darkened halls and lit the distance with a flash.

Instantly Juri's Feng Shui Engine determined the direction and speed of the bullet. With deft precision in the heat of the moment Juri threw herself backwards in attempt to dodge the round that had been fired at her head. Moving all too slowly as she fell backwards, the bullet found its mark and struck Juri's eye, her left eye... her Feng Shui Engine.

"Bastard!!" screamed Juri at the top of her voice as she writhed in agony on the cold concrete floor with her hand pressed against her eye.

The bullet's impact had been a glancing one. It hadn't shattered Juri's Feng Shui Engine but the force had been enough to fracture the shock-resistant casing and render it offline making it wholly useless.

"You'll have to try harder than that!" Yelled Juri as stumbled to her feet while her fingertips surveyed the damage done to her eye. "Come at me ready to kill!!"

With the Feng Shui Engine offline, Juri had no way of seeing through the darkness, no way to determine the location of the scum who had shot her and nowhere to run.
Short of ideas other than ripping the spine out of her cowardly attacker, Juri stood in the darkened facility straining to hear anything that'd give her an inkling of where to throw her fist.

Some short and silent moments later and another sound began to fill the air. Unlike a sudden gunshot the new sound was more of a hiss, a hiss that quickly turned to rain. The sprinklers had been activated throughout the facility.

Running with her arms stretched out in all directions, Juri used the hiss of the sprinklers to mask her footsteps and move through the facility with the intention of snapping her attacker's neck before he had the chance to fire another cowardly round.
Pillar after pillar and pipe after pipe, Juri continued to move around the dark labyrinthine underground until a fist collided with her jaw and sent her spiraling to the floor.

"Ugh... could you be any more annoying?!" Spat Juri as she picked herself up from the wet floor and kicked at the surrounding darkness.

Missing her target, another fist found Juri's face, then her chest and finally her legs, which were swept from under her, sending her back to the unforgiving concrete below.
Before she could find her feet once more, a heavy weight thrust itself over Juri's throat and kept her pinned to the hard wet floor.

Seconds later and the facility flickered to life with light.

It took Juri's remaining eye a few moments to adjust to the light while she fought against the weight over her throat but finally she saw him, her assailant, Arcturus.

"S-sorry baby... I'm not into the whole... S&M thing." Choked Juri upon seeing the burly figure above her dressed head to toe in a skin-tight black rubber suit with spikes on its shoulders and horns on it head.

Without Saying a word, Arcturus raised a long crackling silver rod into view and jammed it against Juri's ribs.

Juri screamed in agony as an intense and unending surge of electricity plagued her body. The wet concrete floor and the water from the sprinklers only serving to intensify the shock as her body convulsed in agony. Juri's screaming continued as her world violently flickered into an eventual perpetual darkness.

The dull thudding of a copious liquid dripping against distant thick metal was enough to raise Juri from her forced slumber. Slowly opening her eyes, Juri grunted with effort as she fought to regain control of her aching and curiously unresponsive extremities. Juri's following waking moments were spent surveying her surroundings and situation.

Through groggy eyes, Juri noted the garish white light of high voltage bulbs gleaming over smooth metal cell-like chambers and sinister looking operating apparatus. It was a lab, a lab crossed with some form of operating theatre, and one that had obviously been meticulously sterilised before her arrival.

As the cobwebs continued to fall from her eyes and her senses, Juri turned her attention from the sterile lab and back to her unresponsive body. A spark of panic flickered through her mind and ignited into an inferno of rage as she finally came to realise her situation and realise what that bastard Arcturus had done to her while she had been unconscious.

Thin wire, fine enough to split her skin, had been tightly tied over and around every joint of her body; from her toes, ankles, knees and thighs, to her fingers, wrists and elbows and from her waist, shoulders and chest, to her throat and hair...

The wires binding her waist, shoulders, chest and elbows were each tethered to a series of hooks that hung down from heavy chains which kept her torso suspended horizontally above the grate which made up the metallic floor beneath her. In turn, the wires binding her toes and ankles were each tethered to the floor's grating via a web of singular wires which ensured that any movement of her toes, feet or legs would be impossible without resulting in strain or injury.

The wires which had been mercilessly tied around her throat and through her hair had all been tied to the same wires that bound her wrists, elbows and shoulders, this forced Juri's head to be pulled back and thus facing forward out into the garishly lit lab in which she now found herself.

At the end of it all there was the ball gag, an overly large latex ball gag that had been forced into her mouth while she had been unconscious. The size of the latex ball between her teeth, which had separated her jaw to such a degree, meant that the copious volume of saliva leaking from between her lips and the latex ball was impossible to stop. It had been the sound of Juri's own bodily fluid, her saliva, falling from her chin and onto the grating below her feet that had woken her.

Raging in her bonds without any care for her physical well-being and screaming from beneath her gag with an endless series of manic grunts and unintelligible threats, Juri thrashed and swung within her bonds with the intention of freeing herself regardless of injury.

As she struggled within her merciless and unforgiving bonds, Juri could feel the strength ebbing from her body. The circulation in her extremities was too poor for her to summon the strength needed to wrestle against the wires and chains, the aching in her jaw had become something akin to unbearable agony and that same unbearable agony had spread to her neck, chest and back. Her throat was turning raw and her fingers and toes felt as if they were threatening to explode with each and every strained movement that she forced them to endure through her constant struggling.

Still, Juri continued to scream her stifled screams and writhe in vain for what felt like hours until the sound of heavy echoing footsteps drew her attention to the distance outside her line of sight...
