Joel anxiously crept through what was left of Meridian City after the supervillain Void had been through. There was nothing left except ruin, and he just had to be the one sent in on this obvious suicide mission.
His pulse raced as he swept his gaze across the crumbling remains of skyscrapers. The sleek, chrome prototype weapon in his hands felt like a sick joke. General Hammond had called it their "last hope," but Joel knew better. He'd seen the footage of Void shrugging off nuclear blasts like they were summer breezes.
"This stupid thing is gonna get me killed," Joel muttered, the words catching in his throat as his nervousness leaked through.
A chunk of concrete shifted somewhere to his left, and Joel whipped around with his nervous energy, quickly focusing the weapon's sights on the source of the noise. Just a fucking stray cat. His finger eased off the trigger, and he turned around for another sweep as his heart was still pounding in his chest.
A whoosh of air behind him raised the hairs on his neck. Joel spun, but it was too late to catch the blur of a black cape whipping past him. The first blow nearly connected with his temple, the second grazed his ribs, and the third sliced through the air where his throat had been a millisecond earlier. Joel stumbled backward, tripping over debris and barely remaining upright.
When he looked up, his blood turned to ice.
Void hovered five feet off the ground, muscular arms crossed over his broad chest, black cape billowing dramatically despite the absence of wind. His trademark smirk was on his lips, but even more terrifying was the casual amusement in those cold blue eyes – that “attack” was just some kind of sick test to him.
"The military sends one man in to face me, and he doesn’t even notice me until he should already be dead. " Void said, his voice a resonant baritone that seemed to vibrate the very air. "I was expecting a little more out of the last-ditch effort, I’m barely going to have any fun killing you."
Joel scrambled to face Void, the secret weapon clutched in white-knuckled hands. "You've killed thousands," he managed to say, hating the tremor in his voice.
Void descended slightly, his boots still not touching the ground. "And you've come to avenge them with... what? Another useless weapon?" He laughed, the sound echoing off the ruins. "Do you know how many ways they've tried to kill me? Bullets, missiles, bioweapons, even a nuclear warhead. I am beyond your primitive concepts of mortality."
"Why?" Joel demanded, buying time as he tried to remember the weapon's activation sequence. "Why destroy everything?"
"You’re not worth the time it would take to explain," Void replied simply. ""Your contribution to humanity's evolution ends here."
The villain's arm extended, palm facing outward toward Joel's skull. Time seemed to slow as Joel's military training kicked in, muscle memory overriding terror as his index finger squeezed the trigger. A brilliant pink beam erupted from the barrel, cutting through the air and enveloping Void in a shimmering cocoon of rose-colored energy.
For one terrible moment, nothing happened. Then Void's smirk disappeared, replaced by wide-eyed shock.
"What... what is this?" The villain's typically commanding voice cracked. "I... I can feel it... inside me!"
The black cape attached to Void's shoulders began to disintegrate, particles flaking away like ash in a breeze. The sleek, armored black suit that had withstood military-grade explosives rippled and changed texture, the matte black transforming into a glossy, vibrant pink.
"No!" Void howled, clawing at his transforming attire. "This isn't possible!"
The material continued its metamorphosis, and as it changed, it began to constrict, shrinking inward against Void's powerful frame. But that wasn’t all that seemed to be changing.
The villain's broad shoulders began to narrow, the thick muscle mass redistributing across his torso. His waist cinched inward as his hips expanded in the opposite direction, creating an hourglass silhouette that became more pronounced with each passing second.
His jet-black military cut began to grow at an impossible rate, the strands lightening from root to tip. The color leached away, replaced by a golden blonde that grew past his ears, down to his newly slender shoulders.
Throughout all this, his body continued to shrink, losing inches in height and pounds of muscle mass. The pink latex catsuit, which had initially been baggy on his shrinking frame, now clung to every new curve, emphasizing his curvy figure.
The transformation reached his chest, where the flat, muscular pectorals began to bubble and swell with fat. The growth accelerated, pushing against the stretchy fabric of the catsuit, forming two perfect, round breasts that strained against their latex prison. The newly formed cleavage deepened as the breasts settled into their final, impressive size.
With one last spasm, Void dropped out of the air as the transformation completed. Where once had hovered the most feared supervillain in human history, now sat a stunning blonde woman in a skin-tight pink latex catsuit, sprawled unceremoniously on the rubble-strewn ground.
The woman looked down at her new body in abject horror. She raised her delicate hands, examining the long, slender fingers, the perfectly manicured nails now sporting a glossy pink polish. She grabbed at her ample chest, a strangled sound escaping her plump lips.
"What have you done to me?" she demanded, but the voice that emerged was melodic and feminine, lacking all the authority and menace it had possessed mere minutes ago.
Joel stood frozen in disbelief. It had worked. The Bimbo Ray had actually worked! But regardless of his form, the transformed villain was still conscious, and judging from the fury blazing in those now-enlarged blue eyes, still very much intent on destroying him.
The blonde woman raised her hand in the same gesture Void had used to crush countless skulls, her face contorted with rage. "I'll kill you for this indignity! I'll-"
“Shit, shit, shit!” Joel fumbled with the Bimbo Ray, unsure whether or not Void had superpowers in this new form but very much uninterested in finding out. His fingers found the recessed dial on the side of the weapon, rotating it to a stylized brain icon and squeezing the trigger as the transformed villain reached up.
The Bimbo Ray pulsed pink, and a mirrored pink glow pulsed in Void’s transformed eyes. Her furious grasping halted mid-gesture. Her eyes went wide, then glazed over, the pupils dilating as the pink glow seemed to flow into them. The woman blinked several times, her expression completely transformed. The rage had vanished, replaced by something vacant yet cheerful.
She looked around at the devastation as if seeing it for the first time, but instead of the calculated malice Void had shown, her face registered only mild disappointment. She turned her attention to Joel, twirling a lock of blonde hair around her finger and shifting her weight to one hip in a pose that emphasized her curves.
"Well, this place is like, totally wrecked," she said, her voice now not just feminine but ditzy, sounding like a teenaged valley girl. "Do you know anywhere in this dump of a city where a girl can have some fun?" She batted her eyelashes at him, a flirtatious smile playing on her lips.
Joel breathed a sigh of relief, the tension finally draining from his body. Just like General Hammond promised, the Bimbo Ray had done more than change Void's physical form, it had completely rewritten his personality to... whatever this was.
"You... don't remember who you are?" Joel asked cautiously.
The blonde woman giggled, the sound oddly innocent amid the destruction. "I'm Vivi, silly! And I'm super bored." She pouted, lower lip protruding in an exaggerated expression of displeasure. "There's nothing to do here. No clubs, no malls, no cute boys except you." She looked up at him, absent mindedly still twirling her hair as she moved to stand up. "What's your name, handsome?"
Joel took an involuntary step back. "Joel," he replied automatically, mind racing to process this development.
"Well, Jo-el," she said, drawing out his name as she approached Joel and trailed a finger down the front of his armor, "why don't you show me somewhere more fun than this messy place?"
"There’s a military base a few miles back," he said, trying to reconcile the ditzy woman with the villain who had stood in front of him mere moments ago. "There are people who'll want to... debrief you."
"Ooh, sounds kinky," Vivi giggled. "Lead the way, soldier boy."
