Jake arrived at Stellar Innovations nearly an hour before his official start time, nervous energy propelling him through the empty corridors. This internship had been nearly impossible to secure—a coveted position that would look amazing on his resume when he returned to MIT in the fall. He'd beaten out hundreds of other applicants with his perfect GPA and innovative thesis proposal on quantum computing applications.

After finding the small desk outside what appeared to be an executive office that was supposed to be his workspace, Jake arranged his belongings meticulously. His laptop, notebook, and pens were positioned with mathematical precision. He smoothed down his blue and red plaid button-up shirt, adjusted his tie, and straightened his wire-rimmed glasses. His navy-blue slacks were freshly pressed, completing the professional look he'd carefully selected for his first day. Everything had to be perfect for his first impression with Mr. Davidson, the department head he'd be working under.

Jake checked his watch: 8:45 AM. Fifteen minutes until official start time, and still no sign of anyone else on this floor. He decided to review the company orientation materials again, determined to make himself as useful as possible from day one.

It wasn’t until half an hour after his official start time at 9:3 that Jake heard the elevator doors open and footsteps approaching. He stood quickly, straightening his tie once more.

"Good morning, Mr. Davidson. I'm Jake Winters, your new intern. I've been looking forward to working with-"

The man who rounded the corner barely glanced at Jake as he strode past. Tall, with a clean-shaven head and an expensive suit, Mr. Davidson had the confident bearing of someone accustomed to being the most important person in any room.

"Where's my coffee?" he asked, pushing open his office door. "And who are you?"

Jake followed him into the spacious corner office. "I'm Jake Winters, sir. Your new intern from MIT. I'm supposed to start today."

Davidson looked up from his phone with a frown, finally giving Jake a proper once-over. His expression darkened with disappointment.

"I thought they were sending me a secretary. Where's the hot blonde I requested?"

Jake shifted uncomfortably. "There must be some confusion, sir. I'm your technical intern for the summer. I'm here to assist with the quantum encryption project. I have a 4.0 GPA and my thesis on-"

"Jesus Christ," Davidson interrupted, rolling his eyes. "Another nerdy kid. Look, I don't care what you do in the fall or what your grades are. What I need right now is a competent secretary with a skintight pencil skirt to show off her ass when she bends over to file things. You know, something nice to look at during the workday."

Jake's face flushed with anger and embarrassment. "Sir, that's completely inappropriate. I'm here as a technical resource, not to-"

A strange tingling sensation suddenly shot through Jake's lower body, cutting his protest short. The sensation was warm and flowing, spreading from his waist down to his toes. He looked down in confusion, then horror, as his navy blue slacks seemed to melt and reshape themselves against his skin.

"What the hell?" Jake gasped, watching in disbelief as the fabric of his pants fused together, lightened in color to a sleek charcoal gray, and began to shrink and tighten around his thighs.

The transformation was happening so quickly that Jake could barely process it. His legs felt lighter somehow, as if losing mass, yet simultaneously curvier. The pants continued to shorten, rising above his knees, then higher still until they formed a snug pencil skirt that hugged newly formed hips.

"What's happening to me?" Jake cried out, his hands frantically feeling the smooth fabric now wrapped tightly around what had definitely become a woman's lower body with slim waist, flared hips, and rounded ass.

Davidson had moved to the corner of the room, leaning against the wall with an amused expression. "Looks like you're becoming useful after all," he commented with a chuckle.

Jake's feet suddenly cramped with pain as his heels were pushed off the ground, his shoes narrowing and sprouting four-inch stiletto heels. His center of gravity shifted abruptly, forcing him to spread his arms to steady himself to keep from toppling over.

"Stop this! How are you doing this?" Jake demanded, his voice shaking with panic.

Davidson merely shrugged, a small smirk playing at his lips. "I'm not doing anything. But while we're making improvements, my secretary should really have a nice low-cut blouse to show off her assets. The tie and plaid combo is way too collegiate."

Before Jake could protest further, the tingling sensation returned, this time spreading across his chest and arms. His blue and red plaid shirt began to shimmer and change texture, the fabric softening into something silky and lightweight. The colors bled together, transforming into a delicate pink hue.

Jake watched in horror as his chest began to expand outward, the buttons of his morphing shirt straining as breasts formed beneath. His tie seemed to dissolve into nothingness, exposing a deepening cleavage as the neckline of the blouse dipped lower.

Jake felt an indescribable mixture of pressure, warmth, and tingling as tissue accumulated where there had been none before. Jake felt the weight of his new breasts settle on his chest, soft and sensitive, the nipples hardening against the thin material of his now-feminine blouse.

"This isn't possible," Jake gasped, staring down at his transformed body. The pink silk blouse hugged curves that hadn't existed minutes before, its low neckline revealing the swell of perfectly shaped breasts. Below, the tight gray pencil skirt emphasized womanly hips and a narrow waist. His legs, now smooth and shapely, balanced precariously on stiletto heels.

"Mr. Davidson," Jake's voice cracked with desperation, "what's happening to me? Do you know what's causing this?"

Davidson finally pushed himself away from the bookshelf and approached, completely ignoring the question and circling Jake with an appraising eye. "Much better. Though not quite there yet."

He stopped in front of Jake, studying his face intently. "Those glasses could actually be cute in the right setting," he mused. "Maybe if they were a little thinner, more elegant. And on a hot blonde woman, of course."

As soon as the words left his mouth, Davidson stepped back with an expectant look, waiting.

Jake immediately felt a tingling warmth spreading across his face. He raised his hands to his cheeks, feeling the bone structure shift beneath his fingertips. His jaw narrowed, cheekbones rose, and lips plumped. His nose reshaped itself into a delicate, feminine slope.

The sensation moved upward to his scalp, where it became an intense prickling as his short brown hair began to grow at an impossible rate. He could feel it lengthening, cascading past his shoulders, lightening in color until it was a golden blonde. Some of it seemed to twist and rise on its own, forming an elegant updo that left tendrils framing his now-feminine face.

His glasses thinned and reshaped on his face, becoming stylish frames that accentuated his new features. Jake blinked rapidly as his eyelashes thickened and lengthened, his vision briefly blurring as his eye color changed too.

The transformation finally complete, Jake stood before Davidson in the body of what could only be described as a supermodel secretary, blonde, busty, with pouty lips and striking features.

"Perfect," Davidson declared with satisfaction. "Now that's what I call an improvement. Congratulations on finally getting the look right." He returned to his desk and sat down. "How about you get me that coffee now? Black, two sugars."

Jake stared at him in disbelief, still trying to process what had just happened to his body. "Mr. Davidson," he began, his voice now higher and breathy, "I don't understand what's happening. How did you do this to me? And more importantly, how do I change back?"

Davidson leaned back in his chair, looking amused. "Coffee first, questions later. That's how it works with secretaries. Chop chop."

Jake stood frozen, his mind racing. He had come here to work on cutting-edge quantum computing, not to be transformed into some executive's fantasy secretary. He needed to understand what was happening, and how to reverse it.

"I'm not getting you coffee until you explain what's going on," Jake insisted, trying to sound firm despite his new feminine voice.

Davidson's amused expression hardened slightly. "Let me make something clear," he said, his tone suddenly serious. "What's happening right now is an opportunity. You're here for the summer, and I need someone who can be both competent and easy on the eyes. I don't enjoy looking at nerdy kids all day. It's my office, and I prefer to surround myself with more attractive company."

Jake felt a surge of indignation. "So you just changed me on a whim? Because you didn't like how I looked?"

Davidson shrugged. "Listen, here's the deal; you do a good job this summer, regardless of what you look like, and I'll write you that glowing reference letter you're hoping for. The one that will open doors at any tech company you want after graduation."

Jake stared at him, processing this information. "So I'm stuck like this for the summer?"

"At minimum," Davidson confirmed. "But don't look so devastated. You're gorgeous, and you'll still get to work on your precious quantum encryption project. I just want something nice to look at while you do it."

Jake struggled to find words, his new body feeling foreign and wrong. "This is insane. You can't just transform people because you want eye candy!"

"Already did," Davidson pointed out. "Now, coffee?"

Attempting to walk in the stiletto heels for the first time, Jake wobbled precariously toward the door. Each step was a challenge, his body fighting to find balance on the narrow spikes. His hips swayed naturally with each movement, an unconscious adjustment to his new center of gravity.

As he walked, Jake became more and more aware of the sensations of his new body. The bounce of his breasts with each movement, the constraint of the tight pencil skirt around his thighs, the way the silk blouse slid sensually against his sensitive skin. It was overwhelming, disorienting, and disturbingly not entirely unpleasant.

In the break room, Jake fumbled with the coffee maker, his hands shaking. His fingers were longer now, slender and elegant with manicured nails, making even simple tasks feel foreign. As he waited for the coffee to brew, he caught his full reflection in the glass of a cabinet door.

The woman staring back at him was breathtaking, tall and curvaceous, with golden blonde hair partially swept up in a sophisticated updo. Her face was heart-shaped with high cheekbones, full lips, and striking blue eyes framed by long lashes. The pink silk blouse revealed an amount of cleavage he would have presumed to be against the dress code at such a prestigious firm, and the gray pencil skirt hugged hips and thighs before ending just above the knee, revealing shapely calves.

"This can't be real," Jake whispered, watching the perfect pink lips in the reflection move with his words.

He reached up to touch his face, watching as the reflection did the same. The skin under his fingertips was soft and smooth, free of the slight stubble he usually had by this time of day. Moving his hands lower, he hesitantly cupped his new breasts, feeling their weight and softness. They were sensitive, sending unexpected tingles through his body at even this cautious touch.

"Hey, you must be the new girl!"

Jake spun around, nearly losing his balance on the heels, to find a young man entering the break room.

"I'm Chris from Marketing," the man said with a friendly smile that lingered a bit too long on Jake's chest. "Don't think we've met yet."

"I'm... Jake," he replied automatically, then realized how strange that would sound. "I mean, uh..."

"Jackie?" Chris suggested helpfully. "Nice to meet you, Jackie. First day, huh?"

Jake nodded numbly, unable to correct him. "Yes, I'm... working for Mr. Davidson."

Chris's eyebrows rose. "Davidson? Good luck with that. He goes through assistants like tissues. His last one quit after just two weeks."

The coffee machine beeped, and Jake gratefully turned away to prepare Davidson's cup. "Black, two sugars," he muttered to himself, trying to focus on the task rather than the existential crisis he was experiencing.

"So, where are you from, Jackie?" Chris asked, moving closer.

"MIT," Jake responded without thinking, then quickly added, "I mean, Boston. I'm from Boston."

Chris seemed intrigued. "Cool. Maybe I could show you around the city sometime? Get drinks after work?"

Jake stared at him, momentarily speechless. Was he being asked out? By a guy? The surrealism of the situation hit him again.

"I, uh... need to get this coffee back to Mr. Davidson," he said, carefully picking up the mug. "Nice meeting you, Chris."

Walking back to Davidson's office was slightly easier this time, his body beginning to adjust to the heels. Along the way, Jake noticed the stares from male employees, their eyes following his movement with undisguised interest. It was a novel and uncomfortable experience, being on the receiving end of such attention.

When he returned to Davidson's office, he found his boss on the phone, feet propped up on the desk. Davidson motioned for Jake to set the coffee down and wait.

"Look, Thompson, I don't care what the lawyers say," Davidson was saying. "We're pushing ahead with the merger whether the board likes it or not. I've got ways of making things happen that they wouldn't understand."

Jake placed the coffee on the desk, then stood awkwardly, unsure what to do with himself. His mind was still racing, trying to process the impossible transformation he had undergone.

After a few more minutes of conversation, Davidson hung up and turned his attention to Jake. "Good timing. I need these files organized before my 11 o'clock." He gestured to a messy stack of folders on a side table.

"Mr. Davidson," Jake began carefully, "can we talk more about... this situation? Am I really stuck like this for the entire summer?"

Davidson took a sip of his coffee and nodded. "That's the deal. You look good, you do good work, and at the end of the summer, you get that reference letter that will set your career trajectory and your boring body back. Not a bad trade, if you ask me."

"But this body feels wrong. I don't know how to... be this person."

"You'll adapt," Davidson said dismissively. "Everyone does. And hey, maybe you'll even enjoy some aspects of it. Women get all kinds of perks in this world."

Jake frowned. "Like being objectified by their bosses?"

Davidson chuckled. "Touché. Look, I know this is a shock, but the situation is what it is. The question is: what are you going to do about it?"

Jake stood silent for a moment, processing his options. He could quit and try to figure out how to navigate the world in this new body on his own. Or he could stay, endure the summer as a female secretary, and still potentially get the reference letter he needed.

"Fine," Jake finally said, straightening his shoulders. "I'll stay. But I expect to be included in the quantum encryption project as promised. I didn't spend four years studying theoretical physics to just fetch coffee and organize files."

Davidson gave a little smirk, impressed by Jake's resolve. "Absolutely. You can join the team meetings and contribute your ideas. But you'll still need to handle the administrative work for me. That's the compromise."

"And you'll write the reference letter?"

"If you prove your worth, yes," Davidson confirmed. "I don't care what you look like - weellll, that's not entirely true, I obviously do - but what I mean is that your performance is what will determine my recommendation, not your appearance."

Jake nodded, a new determination forming. "Then I'll prove my worth, regardless of what I look like."

Davidson smiled enigmatically. "Fantastic. Now, those files aren't going to organize themselves."

Jake moved toward the stack of files, still unsteady in his heels but with a growing resolve. This wasn't how he'd imagined his summer internship would go, but he wouldn't let Davidson's transformation derail his ambitions. If anything, this obstacle would make his eventual success all the more impressive.

"I'll show you," Jake thought to himself as he organized the files with meticulous precision. "By the end of the summer, you'll respect me for my mind, not just appreciate me for my body."

Davidson watched from his desk, a small smile playing at his lips. "I think you and I are going to work very well together, Jackie," he commented.

Jake didn't correct the name. If Davidson wanted to call him Jackie for the summer, so be it. Names were just labels, and what mattered was the work he would do. And if he had to do that work in a female body with stiletto heels and a tight skirt, then that's what he would endure to achieve his goals.

The summer had just begun, and Jake was determined to prove his mind was more than a match for anything Davidson threw at him.
