“No… No! Please!”

The desperate cry echoed in the dark as the man who uttered it stumbled backwards.

He was average in height, but thin and somewhat lanky, causing his sweatpants and dull green windbreaker to bunch awkwardly on his frame and he curled into himself. He had a mess of curly black hair covered by a beanie and matching stubble, along with a light complexion. His blue eyes were open in abject terror, staring across the room.

In the corner was an old, decrepit well. Its dark stones were lined with moss, and seemed like they would crumble at the slightest touch. More striking, however, was the figure rising from its depths. The feminine form was clad in all white, the flowing robes billowing out and obscuring her shape.

Long black hair framed and partially obscured the figure’s face, the ghostly pallor of which nearly matched her robe. Her ensemble was completed by the white headband she wore, with a distinctive triangle of cloth extending upwards from her forehead.

The ghost fully exited the well and drifted through the air towards the man. She locked her pitch-black eyes on him and reached out with both hands towards the man, her haunting wail mixing with his distressed screams.

“Sid!”

Sid cast a desperate glance towards the source of the voice. A familiar woman was jogging towards him. She was his opposite in practically every way. She was above average in height, with a toned physique and tan skin. She was wearing ripped jeans and a leather jacket over a graphic tee of a death metal band, and her hair was an angled bob with shaved sides, the light brown locks ending in bright pink tips. She reached out a hand to Sid.

“Ashley! Save me!” Sid yelped as the ghost woman drew closer and closer.

Ashley grabbed hold of Sid’s collar and yanked him to his feet, away from the ghost and into her embrace. She looked into his eyes and spoke firmly, “Get a hold of yourself! C’mon…”

“This is all fake!” she huffed.

The pair’s attention was drawn to the sound of the ghost snickering, a mischievous grin on her face. Ashley scowled at the woman as she gave a wave and turned to retake her station in the well. The ghost tugged the wires that allowed her to float back into position, and she was ready for the next person. She gave one final wink as she disappeared behind the false stone.

Ashley looked back down at Sid, who was still quivering in her arms. She sighed and squeezed him tighter. “Hey, hey, c’mon. It’s just a haunted house. Just an actor.”

Sid stopped shaking and took a deep breath. “I know. I know. It’s just… They look so real! I’m sorry... I’m really no good with this stuff.”

“It’s okay. That’s alright,” Ashley reassured him. The two had been dating for over a year now, and in that time she had come to appreciate just how squeamish Sid got around horror stuff. Which was a shame, because she really liked it. To his credit, Sid always did his best to try and watch scary movies or play horror games with her, but it would usually end with his hands clamped firmly over his eyes.

Ashley frowned again and looked back at the well. She had hoped this haunted house would be cheap and cheesy enough for Sid to handle. It wasn’t a permanent establishment, it was just a temporary thing the city was doing as part of its Halloween festival. Furthermore, the city had a track record of being frugal. Looking at the painted plywood walls and the sub-par props, she thought she had been correct.

However, Sid was right. The costuming was incredible. In addition to the ghost woman, the couple had encountered a number of other monsters and spooks, each one looking like it had jumped right off the silver screen. The makeup on the ghost alone was enough to thoroughly awe Ashley. Her skin had almost looked like it was actually incorporeal!

Normally Ashley found Sid’s fearful reactions endearing, even a bit amusing, but that was because she knew what to expect. This was out of her control.

Ashley was roused from her ruminations as Sid broke the hug and pulled away. He looked at her sheepishly. They were almost eye level, but he was slightly taller.

“I think I’m done. Sorry. I can wait for you outside at the end, I think there are exits scattered along the course.”

Ashley shook her head, then took Sid’s hand in hers. “No, it’s alright. This haunted house isn’t as fun as I hoped. I’ll come with you.”

Sid gave a relieved smile, and the two made their way out of the dark building. An employee with a generic polo met them just beyond a nearby wall, and led them to a door. The cold autumn air whipped around them as they stepped out into the night.

The Halloween festival was in full swing. Food trucks and stalls lined the streets, jack-o lanterns flickered atop fence posts, and rickety carnival rides roared and shook. “I’m gonna sit down for a minute,” Sid yelled over the din. Ashley nodded in response.

They maneuvered through the other attendees, many of which wore costumes of varying quality. It was almost amusing how low-quality some of them looked compared to the costumes in the haunted house.

Eventually the pair made it to a vacant picnic bench, and Sid took a seat with a sigh. While he was getting his wits about him, Ashley couldn’t help but stare back at the haunted house. The more she thought about it, the more curious she became. Was there some grand secret to the monsters within? She shook her head. She almost regretted wanting to know. It would shatter the illusion.

An idea struck Ashley. Her eyes widened as a devious plan formed in her head.

“Hey Sid?”

Sid stood from the bench, looking refreshed. “Yeah?”

Ashley took his hand again. “What time does the festival close?”

“Uh…” Sid scratched his chin. “About nine o’clock, I think.”

Ashley gave Sid an innocent look. He wilted. He knew that look. It was the look she gave him when she wanted him to do something crazy.

“I have an idea that might help you.”

——————

“This is so fucked. We’re gonna get arrested.” Sid cursed.

Ashley rolled her eyes. “We’re not gonna get arrested. It’s a temporary building.”

“It’s still breaking and entering!” Sid countered.

“Only if we get caught.” Ashley grinned.

It was late at night, just past eleven o’clock. The festival had been over for two hours now, but it had taken another hour and a half or so for the vendors and various staff to clean up, lock up, and head home for the night. Other than the couple, the only souls were a few night shift security guards. They had been easily avoided.

Sid and Ashley were crouched in a bush nearby the haunted house. Ashley scoped out the building. Other than being locked, she didn’t see any other security measures. No alarms or cameras. She hummed contentedly as she mapped out the best angle of approach in her head.

Sid interrupted her musings. “Look, I appreciate the thought, but there have got to be better ways to get over my phobias.”

Ashley put a reassuring hand on his shoulder. “Trust me on this. We’ll go in, see all the makeup and wigs and costumes, and all those monsters that were so scary before will seem silly. Besides, I’ve broken into more secure places before.”

Sid frowned and gave his girlfriend a long look. He knew she cared for him, but she had always been a troublemaker, and too adventurous for her own good. He gave her an appraising look.

“You’re more worried about those costumes than I am. I think you just wanna try them out.” He pointed an accusatory finger.

“Whaaat? Noooo…” She blinked at him innocently.

Sid crossed his arms. “I think you wanna spook me with those costumes.”

“Well… Maybe.” Ashley relented. “But I do want to help you out too. Maybe having your darling girlfriend behind the mask will make it less scary!”

Sid rubbed his temples, then looked at the building. “Fine. Whatever.”

“You’re the best, babe!” Ashley leaned into Sid and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. “Now c’mon! We’ve got to get in before the next guard comes by!”

Ashley darted out of the bush towards the back of the building. Sid followed after a moment, tracing her footsteps as best he could. He joined her, squatting in front of a door with bold lettering that said “Employees Only”, and kept a lookout while she deftly picked the lock. With a soft click, the door relented and the couple slipped inside.

“Can’t see shit, captain,” Sid quipped as he closed and locked the door behind them, plunging the room into total darkness.

“Gimme a sec.” Ashley grunted. She took out her phone and woke it up, quickly turning on its flashlight. Sid soon did the same.

The room they were in looked like some sort of break room. The room had two other doors, both with a small window. Ashley peered through one. It led to the haunted house proper. Down a hallway was another door.

Ashley bounded over. “That might be where the costumes are!” She gently shoved Sid aside and began picking the lock.

Sid began to shift uncomfortably. “You don’t think they’ll just be hanging there in the dark, do you? I don’t want to jumpscare myself.”

The lock clicked open and Ashley stood. “I’ll go first and scope it out,” she responded excitedly.

The short hallway did indeed end in another door. The couple paused. It was much higher quality than the rest of the building they had seen.

“Weird,” Sid commented idly as Ashley began picking the lock.

The lock clicked. Sid averted his gaze while Ashley swung the door open.

“Woah.” Sid heard her gasp.

“Oh shit. Was I right? What’s the holdup?” Sid grimaced.

“No, no, no costumes so far. Just checking the ceiling for cameras. We should be good. C’mon.” Ashley stepped into the room.

As Sid turned, eyes half shut in anticipation, his apprehension quickly drained. The room reflected the quality of the door, almost as if the couple had stepped into an entirely different structure. Before Sid could examine it too thoroughly, however, he was momentarily blinded as the room was suddenly lit. “Gah!”

“Sorry! Sorry, I found the light switch,” Ashley apologized.

As Sid’s eyes adjusted, he took in the room. It looked like a makeup room from a movie studio. A counter with a series of brightly illuminated mirrors lined the wall to his left, while the wall with the door they came through featured several full-length mirrors. The wall opposite Sid had a large wooden table lined with props, as well as another door.

To his right, several large, industrial-looking white metal cabinets lined the wall. They were each taller than him, and slightly wider. They each featured double doors with a knob in the center, and multiple dials adoring the top panel.

Ashley inspected the cabinets, reading off the labels. “UV Sanitation Chamber… Like what they use for lab equipment? What are they doing here?”

“I dunno.” Sid wandered over, inspecting the cabinets as well. He shivered. “I get a bad vibe, though.”

“Let’s open one,” Ashley decided, and turned a dial to shut off the UV light.

“Wait–” Sid tried to protest, but it was too late.

Ashley grabbed the knob of the cabinet in front of her and pulled the double doors open with a flourish, stepping back. “AH!” She yelped.

“AAAAAGH!” Sid screamed as he backpedaled and tripped over himself, falling back with a crash.

Within the cabinet, suspended in midair, was the ghastly form of the ghost woman from the haunted house. Her dark eyes stared forward lifelessly, while her mouth gaped in a silent scream. Her robes and black hair swayed menacingly as her head lulled forward.

“Woah!” Ashley stared in wonder.

“Shit!” Sid stared in fear as he desperately crawled backwards, away from the cabinet. “She’s fucking real! Get away!”

“No…” Ashley stepped back in front of the open doors, reaching up a hand. “No, she isn’t! That’s… Wow!”

She poked the ghost’s cheek, then quickly recoiled. It had given way to her touch, then re-taken its shape. “It sure feels real, though!”

Ashley explored the ghost’s form. She pressed on its chin, pushing its mouth open further, and peered into the empty space within. She stood on her tip-toes and looked into the ghost’s eyes, which were similarly vacant. She took its hand in hers and lifted it, marveling at how limp it was. The ghost woman’s form was just an empty husk.

“Sid!” Ashley squealed, bouncing up and down. “This is one of the costumes! It’s not makeup, they have full-body suits!” She looked back at Sid.

Sid, pressed against the shelf on the opposite side of the room as far as he could go, stared back in bewilderment, in no way assuaged by Ashley’s revelation.

“What the hell?” he stammered.

Ashley turned to the cabinet and scanned the labels again. “There!” she exclaimed, pointing at a small series of letters in the corner of the top panel. “TFSFX!”

“TF… What?” Sid asked.

“True Fantasy Special Effects!” Ashley bubbled. “They’re the biggest name in the industry when it comes to practical effects for movies and TV aimed at adults! They worked on Blood Slasher 4: Return of Killer Will! Remember how good Will looked? Even better than the first movie!”

Sid grunted. “‘Good’ isn’t the word I’d use. ‘Disgusting,’ maybe.”

“Yeah!” Ashley continued, undeterred. “I always thought they just used regular practical effects makeup, but this is next level.”

Ashley shrugged off her jacket and began unbuttoning her jeans.

Sid blinked. “...What are you doing?”

“Stripping.”

“Why?”

Ashley turned to face Sid. “I’m gonna try it on, of course.”

“What? No! Why?” Sid pushed away from the wall. “Let’s just go, we’ve seen the truth. Phobias cured.”

Ashley rolled her eyes. “Tell that to your knocking knees. C’mon, it’ll just be for a bit. This is like a dream come true for me. Pleeeeease?” She blinked big doe eyes at Sid.

He sighed. “...Fine. Just make it quick.”

“You’re the best!” she replied in a sing-song tone.

Ashley continued to strip. She slipped off her shoes and kicked them to the side, then slid her jeans down her legs. She stepped out of the pile of denim and took off her socks. She righted herself and took hold of the edge of her shirt and lifted up, pulling it over her head and off to the side. She took a moment to fix her hair.

Sid, in a bland room full of mirrors, basically had no choice to watch. He stared at his girlfriend, who was now wearing nothing but plain black undergarments. He had seen her naked form before, but he was nonetheless impressed by her fit figure and ample assets. He’d be aroused if not for the uncomfortable situation.

Ashley unhooked and removed her bra, letting her breasts bounce free and eliciting a grunt of surprise from Sid. She was fairly well endowed, sporting a pair of generous C cups. She looked at him with an eyebrow raised. “What?”

“Is it really necessary to get so naked?”

She rolled her eyes. “It probably needs to sit flush, the bra’d get in the way.” She bent forward, grasping at the waistband of her panties.

“Is that necessary too?”

Ashley stood and pouted. “I suppose not. Oh well.”

She spun back around to the cabinet, a wide grin spreading across her face. She took hold of the costume by the shoulders and, after a few moments experimentally shifting it around, lifted it up and towards her. Once it had been removed from the cabinet, it was clear how much less substantial the ghost’s form was. Ashley turned it around in her hands, revealing the hook of a clothes hanger protruding from the nape of the ghost’s neck.

“Huh.” Ashley commented. “A bit less high-tech than I expected…”

She investigated the area, prodding at robe’s collar with one hand. “Looks like the clothes are attached, too. There’s an open zipper, it goes all the way through. Ooh, the skin’s white on the inside, too!”

Her hand traced a line along the costume’s back and its form split open down to the husk’s buttocks. Ashley extracted the hanger from the costume and placed it back in the cabinet. With nothing to support it, the form went fully limp in her grasp.

Sid swallowed. If not for the mass of drooping black hair, he could have almost convinced himself the ghostly skin was just a part of the white robes, that it was all just normal fabric.

Ashley shifted her grip, taking hold of both sides of the zipper with her thumbs and spreading the opening. She shimmied her hands downwards until she reached the bottom, letting the suit’s hair and arms hang down and bunch up on the floor. She took a breath to steel herself, then stepped into the costume.

Sid watched in morbid fascination as Ashley’s legs sunk deeper and deeper into the suit, causing its leg to bulge and fill out like an inflating balloon. Her foot reached the bottom. The two stared as the pale toes of the ghost wiggled and flexed. They shared a glance.

Ashley giggled and brought up her other leg, slipping it into the costume in the same manner. She stood straight and grabbed the suit bunching up beneath her hips, and pulled upwards. It took her a few attempts, grunting with effort. Hearing her struggle, Sid ventured closer.

“Everything alright?” He asked.

“Hm…” Ashley hummed. “It’s really weird…”

She twisted, prodding the suit. “It feels like the padding’s all off… Like, there’s a bunch of extra material in the sides and back, but there's empty space in the front. It’s tight in odd places.”

Sid shrugged. “Maybe it’s custom-fit?”

“Maybe.” Ashley hefted the torso of the costume and peered into it, inspecting the chest area. “It’s the opposite here. Not enough in the sides, too much in the front. Where are my tits supposed to go?”

Sid stroked his chin. “I guess the chick who wears this is really flat. But not slim? Definitely not hourglass shaped, for sure.”

Ashley’s frustrated expression suddenly changed, as if a lightbulb went off in her head. She slowly turned to look at Sid, eyes filled with innocence. “Orrrrrr…”

He blinked in confusion. “What? …Oh no. No.”

Ashley grinned mischievously, facing Sid and taking a couple steps toward him “Orrrrrr…”

“No no no!” Sid backed away, shaking a finger in protest.

“Or!” Ashley heaved the top half of the suit in Sid’s face, its hollow visage flopping towards him. “This costume is meant to be worn by a guy!”

“No! I am NOT wearing that, that… Thing!” Sid sputtered.

“C’mon!” Ashley giggled. “Think about it! If you’re wearing it, you won’t be scared of it at all! It’s way better than me wearing it. I was gonna scare you with it.”

Sid gave Ashley an unamused look. “Not funny.”

“Don’t you want to get over your fear?” Ashley huffed. “If you won’t do it for me, do it for you!”

Sid stared at the strange bundle of cloth and fake flesh before him. Annoyed as he was, he couldn’t help but see some truth in what Ashley was saying. And though he hated to admit it, he was curious what it would be like.

“But…” He pointed at the costume. “It’s a woman. Isn’t that weird?”

“Is that all?” Ashley laughed and leaned forward to give Sid a peck on the cheek. “I’ll still love you, don’t you worry!”

Sid blushed in response.

Ashley backed away from Sid and grasped the costume, working it down off her legs like she did for her jeans. She glanced at Sid. “C’mon, I can't be the only one getting naked.”

Sid grumbled and complied. He discarded his windbreaker to the side, revealing a plain orange polo shirt, which he removed next. Though thin, he wasn’t scrawny. He sported lean muscle more than anything else. He kicked off his shoes as well, and slid down his sweatpants.

“I think you need to go commando, too,” Ashley quipped, much too cheerfully.

Sid froze, one sock halfway off his foot. “You’re kidding me.”

Ashley lifted the suit and glanced into the opening. “Nope. Looks like there’s a slot. Don’t worry, the UV cabinet should’ve disinfected it.”

Sid grumbled, but complied and removed his briefs. His moderate member hung flaccidly between his legs. “Great. I wasn’t worried before, now I am.”

Ashley shrugged. “Best not think about it, then.” She strode forwards and shoved the costume into his arms.

Sid looked down at it and shivered. “Warmer than I expected…”

“Oh yeah, it’s actually pretty comfy. Go on!” Ashley encouraged.

Sid sighed. “The things I do for love…”

He reoriented the costume in his arms, positioning it as Ashley had. He lifted one leg and slid it inside, then the other. As he helped the suit’s hips, they slid onto him with little resistance. Another shiver passed through him as he felt his nether regions slot into place.

“Woah!” Ashley crouched down and grabbed at Sid’s hips, groping the material encasing him. “It fits so well! Man, she’s shapely, too!”

Sid batted at her hands. “Enough with the commentary! Let me finish.”

“Fine, fine!” Ashley stood, putting her hands up.

Sid shook his head and returned his attention to the suit. He took it by one of the shoulders and maneuvered his right arm into the opening, feeling around for the sleeve. After a moment he found it, and wormed his way inside. The ghost woman’s arm took shape, going from hanging at Sid’s side to stretching out in front of him, similar to how the previous wearer had grasped towards him in the haunted house. His fingers pushed into the suit’s like putting on a tight rubber glove.

Sid looked in awe at his new hand, flexing the delicate, pale fingers. Ashley took Sid’s hand, giving it a few experimental squeezes. She looked at him excitedly.

“This is awesome! C’mon, do the other arm and I’ll zip you up.” Ashley let Sid’s ghostly hand go and walked around to his back.

“Alright…” Sid mumbled, still partially in shock.

He obeyed and slid in his left arm, once again flexing new fingers. No sooner had he finished than he felt the suit tighten  around his stomach and torso as Ashley closed the zipper. Unlike the costume’s legs and hips, its torso was practically devoid of padding, and even compressed in on Sid in multiple places. He blushed slightly as he processed the weight pulling down on his chest and shoulders.

“Just the mask now!” Ashley jumped up and down with glee. “Put it on! Put it on!”

“Don’t rush me! Sheesh..” Sid looked down at the mask, currently bunched up atop his new breasts. He paled as he did so. This was the part he was looking forward to the least.

He brushed several errant strands of hair aside, giving him a good look of the interior of the suit’s head through its neck. He could make out the inverted feminine features of the face, light from the room peeking through the empty eyes, mouth and nostrils.

His attention was caught by a wide black band in the costume’s throat area. It conformed to the shape of the false skin, but seemed a bit thicker. “Huh. What’s that?”

Ashley stood on her tip-toes, peering over Sid’s shoulder. “Hm. Ooh, maybe it’s a voice changer? Gotta have the monsters sound right. Right?”

Sid rolled his eyes. “Great. At this point, whatever.”

Sid steeled himself, then spread the neck hole as wide as it would go before ducking forward and flipping the head of black hair back over himself. For a split second panic gripped him as he pulled on the mask. His senses were cut off from the world, enveloped in a dark interior.

Soon, however, his scalp met the suit’s. His eyes reached the costume’s empty sockets, the room around him becoming visible. His nose too snapped into place, and he was once again able to breathe sweet air.

The lips of the mask pressed against his and his chin found its place. They extended farther into the interior than he expected, so it took him a moment to properly hook his lips into place. Once he had, though, he found the mask mirrored his movements eerily well as he made several expressions.

Ashley brushed the mass of black hair to the side and finished zipping up the suit. She patted the robes back together and stepped back. She felt her heart race. She’d have had no idea the ghost woman before her was all a lie.

“How’s it feel?” she asked.

Sid tilted his head and responded. “It’s fi– Woah, fuck! Ah? Woah!”

The voice that escaped his lips was not quite his own. It was higher pitched, and resonated with a somewhat otherworldly timbre. It still held qualities similar to his natural voice, though, unlike how the ghost had sounded in the haunted house.

“Oh my god! That’s awesome!” Ashley squealed. “Try doing a girly voice! Say something like… I dunno, ‘Imma haunt you,’ or something!”

Sid coughed, still getting used to the sound. “Um.. Ah… S-sure. I- Imma haunt youuuu…” He trailed off, shocked by how authentic he sounded.

Ashley skipped around to Sid’s front. “That was so go– Woah.” She came to a stop and stared, looking Sid up and down.

He shifted uncomfortably. “It looks weird, doesn't it? It does. I’ll take it off.”

“No no no! It looks great!” Ashley said. She strode forward and hugged Sid, pulling him tight against her. She looked into his eyes and blushed slightly. “You actually look kinda… pretty.”

Sid looked back at her, and he couldn’t help but glance down. He flushed behind the mask at the sight of Ashley pressing her bare breasts into the large bosom of the suit. Ashley followed his sightline and giggled. She released him and grabbed the costume’s boobs, groping them roughly.

“You’ve got some great tits, too, girl!” She laughed.

“Ah!” Sid gasped and swiped at Ashley’s hands, instinctively covering himself. “Don’t do that! That felt weird!”

“Sorry sorry!” Ashley laughed. “I couldn’t help myself! You look good as a girl.”

Sid grumbled. “You’d think any of these costumes look good! These are supposed to be monsters, remember? Supposed to be scary?”

“Oh yeah!” Ashley exclaimed. She turned away from Sid and returned to the cabinets and began throwing them open one by one. Sid winced as each set up double doors opened, revealing more of the monsters they had encountered in the haunted house. A female zombie, a green-skinned witch, a vampire lady, and so on.

Sid cocked his head as the last costume was revealed. “What the fuck… They’re all women!”

Ashley put her hands on her hips. “Yeah! Where’s the wolf man? The Frankenstein monster? There was definitely a zombie guy, too!” She began closing the cabinets dejectedly.

Sid thought to himself. “Maybe there are more cabinets somewhere?”

“Of course!” Ashley shouted as she slammed the last one shut. “There's that other door! I bet they’re in there!”

She ran over to her clothes and retrieved her lockpick, then headed over to the door in question. As Sid stepped towards it however, she held up a hand. “Nuh uh. You stay here.”

“What?” Sid huffed. “And do what?”

Ashley gestured towards the wall of mirrors. “Do what we came here to do, get over your phobia! You’re a cute ghost girl right now, take a look at yourself!”

Sid blinked nervously. “And you?”

Ashley shrugged and turned back to the door. “I’m gonna explore this other room by myself. You can get used to being a ghost while I'm in there. Unless you want to see more monster costumes?”

Sid sighed. “Not really.”

“Good!” Ashley chimed triumphantly as the door clicked open. “Have fun!”

She opened the door and slipped inside before closing it behind her. Sid was left alone in the room, wearing the ghost woman costume. He stood there for a few minutes, unsure what to do and becoming increasingly uncomfortable. Eventually, he decided to bite the bullet, and turned to face the mirrors.

Sid nearly yelled out in surprise as he saw the ghastly figure standing across the room from him. He stared, petrified, at the ghost woman gazing back at him. Cautiously, he began to creep forwards, and watched as the figure in the mirror followed his every move.

He gathered his resolve. With a burst of energy, he struck a disco pose. The ghost woman did the same. A beat passed. Sid struck another pose, lifting his arms and one leg in a crane stance.

“Pfft…” Sid laughed to himself. Ashley had been right. It did seem silly. Here he was, a grown-ass man in a brightly lit room, the so-called “monster” doing silly poses in accordance to his whim.

He strode forward, closer to the mirror. He supposed the suspense in movies was what really got to him. Now that he was in control, there was nothing to be scared of.

Sid sighed, stopping just a few feet from the mirror. He gazed at the woman reflected there. He idly raised a hand and touched his masked face. Now that he had a moment to reflect, he couldn’t help but marvel at just how real it all looked.

“Holy shit…” He breathed.

A shiver ran through his body. He cleared his throat, and spoke again.

Hello there,” the woman in the mirror purred.

His jaw hung open in shock. The voice was utterly convincing, too. No one would be able to tell. Sid got even closer to the mirror, inspecting the ghost woman’s features. He pushed a strand of long black hair aside. Ashley was right. The visage Sid sported was pretty, especially without pitch black eyes. He supposed there were colored contacts somewhere.

He explored the woman’s face, prodding it all over and making various faces. If not for the skin’s deathly pallor, any observer would just see an attractive woman.

It was certainly strange, but for some reason, Sid didn’t mind too much. Each year Ashley tried to get him to dress up with her for Halloween, but he had always refused. He just couldn’t stand going to Halloween stores. As he stared at himself in the mirror, however, he felt new determination.

“Next Halloween I’ll dress up as something… for Ashley,” he resolved.

He glanced at the door in the mirror. The light had been turned on, but he couldn’t see anything through the small window from this angle. He chuckled. No doubt Ashley was having a field day.

Sid started as he looked back to himself. His eyes had unconsciously been drawn to the chest of his reflection. He could feel himself blush. He hadn’t noticed before on account of the costume’s flowing robes and his own anxiety, but the suit did indeed have an impressive bust. He glanced at the door again.

“Just for a bit…” he mumbled.

He stepped closer to the mirror, just within arm’s reach. He raised his hands and cupped his breasts, feeling their heft. “Damn, she’s stacked… I’m stacked.”

Sid’s investigation became more thorough as he fondled himself. He bounced the false mounds on his palms, then squeezed. He felt himself flushing more and more, but the woman groping herself in the mirror stayed as pale as ever.

“They feel so real...” he whispered.

He came to a stop and furrowed his brow. He took hold of his robes and tugged. He could feel the fabric pull at where it was attached to his back. He moved his hands back to his chest and tried moving the breasts individually. They shifted within his grasp with lifelike accuracy.

“Why is it so real…?” He once again tugged at the robe. A chill ran down his spine as he realized the robe was only attached to the area around the zipper. Everywhere else, it seemed to be independent cloth.

“No way…” he stammered, taking hold of the robe’s collar.

Sid pulled at the collar. His heart pounded as the woman in the mirror did the same. More and more of the ghost’s pale chest was revealed. Sid froze as the costume’s generous cleavage became visible, held together by a plain white triangle bra. He took a breath. With a yank, he pulled the robe open, fully revealing his breasts.

“No fucking way.”

He fondled himself again, in awe at the utterly convincing rack he sported. Another shiver ran down his spine as his fingers brushed across the bra’s cups, and felt a subtle, telltale bump beneath each. Curiosity got the best of him, and he began rubbing the suit’s nipples through the thin cloth. “Mmm…”

He paused and tugged experimentally on the bra. Similar to the robe, the only point of attachment seemed to be on his back, on either side of the zipper. Unlike the robe, however, the bra did not have a front opening.

“Here goes nothing…” He grasped the bra’s band and yanked upwards. Despite the band’s elasticity, it took several tries to get it past the suit’s large breasts. Once it was, Sid nearly stumbled forwards into the mirror as the full weight of his false mounds fell free.

Sid stood stock still, staring at the tits in the mirror as they swayed and settled. Their nipples and areolas were a dull gray color, which made them stand out in stark contrast against the mountains of pale white flesh surrounding them.

Sid was snapped back to his senses by the sensation of pressure building in his crotch. He could feel his member straining within its confines of the suit’s nether region.

Breathing heavily, he grasped at the robe’s belt. He quickly untied it, and as its end fell to his sides the rest of the robe fell open. Beneath the suit’s breast was a smooth waist complete with belly button, and further down wide hips adorned by a pair a white panties. As the bottom of the robe flared out, Sid could see the entirety of the ghost’s supple thighs and legs.

Transfixed by the sight of his now smooth groin, he ran his hands down his body. There was no trace of his masculine form, not even from the raging erection he felt pressing against the suit from within. His hands reached the waistband of the panties.

A deep, beastly growl rumbled through the room, just behind Sid.

His blood ran cold, and all thought ceased. He raised his head slowly to the mirror, and locked eyes with the wolf man standing right behind him.

Its beady blood-red eyes glowed within their sockets, surrounded by dark brown fur. Its snout was wrinkled into a snarl, its sharp teeth bared. Sid could see the wolf man’s muscular torso flex, repairing to lunge.

“AAAAAGH!” Sid shrieked, the suit’s voice changer turning the already high-pitched cry into a shrill sound of pure terror.

The wolf man seized Sid by the shoulder and spun him around, then pushed him back against the mirror. Sid tried to scramble free, but the wolf man managed to catch hold of both his wrists and pinned him there. Sid gasped in fear and stopped struggling as the wolf man opened its mouth to belt a short, guttural bark.

HAH! Getting started on your own, I see?” it rumbled.

Sid shook with horror, staring into the monster’s maw. “P-please… Don’t eat me…” he managed to whimper.

The wolf man gave a sinister chuckle. “Eat you? No, no. Ghosts don’t taste too good. Not enough… Substance. But you’re substantial in… Other ways.

It shifted its hold on Sid, pinning both his arms with a single hand and leaving the other one free. Sid flinched as the wolf man ran a clawed hand along his masked chin, down his neck, and to his chest. He yelped as the beast flicked one of the suit’s nipples.

“I… I’m not… A real ghost!” Sid protested meekly.

The wolf man grinned. “Has playing pretend in that excuse for a house of horror finally gotten to you? It’s nearly midnight, the witching hour is upon us! It’s nearly time to return to our true nature, and indulge!

Sid’s eyes widened. “What do you…”

The wolf man reared back and howled, then bared down on Sid. Its claw snaked down his torso, and took hold of his waistband.

“AAAAAAAH!” Sid screamed again.

The wolf man’s claw caught on the waistband, but the panties refused to budge.

Both it and Sid stared down at the claw in stunned silence. The wolf man tugged again, but to no avail.

“Aw, c’mon, really?” the wolf man muttered.

Sid blinked. He knew that voice, even if it was pitched down and distorted.

“Ashley?!” he sputtered.

The wolf man looked up at Sid. It released him from its grasp and took a step back.

“Aw man.” The monster sheepishly replied. “I blew it, huh?”

Sid collapsed against the mirror with a sigh of relief. “I thought I was dead! Oh shit, am I glad it's just you!”

Sid quickly regained his composure and leapt to his feet. He began flailing against Ashley, his shaky fists thumping ineffectually against the furry form before him. “You jerk! Fuck! God dammit! I coulda had a heart attack!”

Ashley chuckled and caught Sid’s blows, taking his pale hands in her claws. “Sorry! Sorry! I saw this awesome costume, noticed I could wear it and just had to! I told you I wanted to try spooking you!”

“Well, you damn well succeeded! Geez!” Sid pouted. “These costumes look so real, I almost believed they were!”

“Yeah, aren’t they amazing?” Ashley nodded, the large wolf head bobbing up and down. “Speaking of… I see you got pretty frisky.”

“I…!” Sid broke away from Ashley, and bashfully attempted to cover himself. “I was alone in a room with mirrors with the body of a woman! What did you expect?”

“No worries, I getcha! I, uh, would’ve done the same.” Ashley gestured at the tattered red shorts she wore over the wolf man suit, then to Sid’s panties. “But it seems below the waist is a no-go zone. A shame, considering what you were able to get away with there.”

“Well…” Sid scratched his head. “It almost feels like these suits are meant to be stripped. Other than the area along the zipper, nothing seems secured. You sure True Fantasy just works in horror?” Sid idly pulled at his panties.

Ashley shrugged. “Maybe they’re branching out? Sex sells. Or maybe these are repurposed or bootleg somehow. It would explain how the cheapskates on the city council got all this here… What do you think? Sid?”

Ashley looked at Sid. He was still, hands on his waist. Ashley cocked her head. “Sid?”

“Er… Sorry. It’s just… I think it’s just the waistband.” Sid said slowly. “The rest of the panties don’t seem to be secured.”

“Really?” Ashley exclaimed. She squatted down and reached a claw towards Sid’s crotch.

“Hey wait! Hold on!” Sid pressed back against the mirror. “That was just an observation!”

The wolf man looked up at Sid like a dog begging for a treat. “Oh c’mon, aren’t you curious? Weren’t you gonna do this yourself?”

“Well, that’s…” Sid trailed off as he peered down, the large breasts of the suit filling his vision. He felt his blush return, and the pressure in his groin return. “Fine.”

“Great!” Without hesitation Ashley took hold of the front of the panties and pulled to the side. “Woah! This looks real too!”

“Really?” Sid gulped, straining to see.

“Yeah! Oh my…” Ashley mused, rubbing and prodding.

“Mmph…” Sid grunted as Ashley's movements translated through the fake flesh to his real member.

Ashley raised her head. “Can you feel that?”

Sid shifted. “Uh, yeah. A little.”

“Then how about this?” Ashley asked.

“About wha-” Sid yelped as Ashley inserted a finger into the suit’s pussy, pushing against its walls. Sid bucked and doubled over as Ashley went deeper. He could feel it along the length of his dick. He had to grab Ashley’s now broad shoulders for support to stop from toppling over.

“Fuck!” he panted. “Deeper!”

The wolf man growled hungrily and Ashley inserted a second finger. “Bet you’re in here somewhere. How deep?”

“All… All the way!” Sid gasped.

He bucked again as Ashley dug deeper. Then she pulled back. “Hm.”

“Wh… Why’d you stop?” Sid asked, puzzled.

Ashley shook her head. “Sorry, babe, but I think that’s the farthest I can get. I don’t want to hurt you with these claws.”

“But… Dammit.” Sid huffed dejectedly.

“You sure are horny, huh?” Ashley teased. “Scary monsters got you all hot and bothered?”

“Wha? No, I just…” Sid countered. “You’re just being really aggressive! You into chicks or something?”

Ashley shrugged. “Hm. Maybe.” Before Sid could respond, she took him by the shoulders and pulled him into a tight embrace. “More than that though, knowing it's you in there turns me on to no end. And, uh…”

Ashley backed away, looking away. “This suit had an… insert. For some reason. So I was a little horny even before I came back.”

Sid blinked. “An insert? Like, you had to stick something in your pussy?”

“Yeah, to put it bluntly.” Ashley nodded. “It was kinda like a tampon, all spongey, but a bit bigger…” Ashley looked down and trailed off. Sid noticed her pause and followed her sightline.

A large bulge had formed at the crotch of the wolf man’s shorts.

“Woah!” Ashley exclaimed. “The suit has a dick!”

Sid shook his head and put a hand to the bridge of his nose. “Of fucking course it does. There’s no way these suits aren’t sex toys or something.”

“But then how do I use it, though?” Ashley tugged at her shorts. “I can’t just shove a whole pair of pants to the side!”

“I mean… technically, you can.” Sid sighed. “Haven’t you ever heard of a fly?”

“You’re a genius, babe!” Ashley barked. She stepped to Sid’s side and began fumbling with the fly of her shorts in the mirror.

“Hm. Darn claws are getting in the way.” She grunted with frustration. “Little help?”

Sid looked at her blankly. “You can’t be serious.”

Ashley laughed, “Of course I am! Aren’t you curious as well?”

“...Yeah, I guess.” Sid was thankful his mask hid his red cheeks.

“Great!” Ashley turned to face Sid and thrust her hips forward.

Sid groaned and knelt down, putting his eye level at the wolf man’s crotch. He hesitated for a moment, then took hold of the flap covering the fly. It was secured with a pair of buttons. He deftly undid them, then spread the opening wide. Ashley’s bulge jutted out, now constrained only by a couple layers of black fabric.

“Huh. Now what?” Ashley asked.

“The underwear should have a fly, too.” Sid answered.

He pulled at the material, determining which way the fly opened. He managed to peel back the first layer, then took hold of the second. He shuffled away from Ashley a bit, then pulled. Unleashed from its confines, the wolf man’s large, erect cock sprung to its full glory.

“Damn.” Sid gulped. He stood and put his hands on his hips. “There. Satisfied?”

“Man, I’m packing!” Ashley giggled as she twisted side to side, watching her new member sway back and forth.

“Glad to hear it.” Sid grumbled and turned away. “Anyway, it is almost midnight. We should probably go before it gets too late…”

“Now hold on there.” Ashley rumbled.

Sid felt a strong pair of clawed hands take hold of his shoulders. The wolf man pressed up against Sid’s back, its toothy snout once again hovering over his shoulder. He flinched as he felt something long and hard press into his lower back.

“You got to have all the fun, feeling yourself up and getting fingerbanged. Meanwhile I’m here with a dick that hasn’t gotten any love. It’s my turn,” Ashley growled.

Sid swallowed. “And… What does ‘your turn’ entail, exactly?”

Ashley pressed into Sid’s back harder. Her hands moved from his shoulders to his chest. She began roughly fondling his breasts, kneading the mounts between her fingers. Sid gasped as she drew her claws along his suit’s soft flesh and pinched the gray nipples that crowned them. The two began to unconsciously grind against each other.

You wanted me to go ‘all the way’ in, right?” The wolf man breathed. “I can think of one way…

Sid felt Ashley shift, and the false erection pressing against him lowered, slipping in between his suit’s ample rear. She’d be able to penetrate him with just a thrust. Sid caught his breath. He put a hand on Ashley’s.

Do it,” the ghost woman moaned.

With a primal howl Ashley thrust forward, burying her fake member in Sid’s false pussy. He gasped as his crotch was filled, ramming farther than her fingers could have possibly reached. She began to thrust rhythmically, and Sid in turn thrust against her. With each gyration, he felt greater and greater pressure on his own concealed member.

“Ah! Fuck! I… I’m cumming! I’m gonna cum!” Sid managed to gasp.

Ashley grunted in response. “Me… Me too!”

She released Sid’s chest and moved her hands down to his hips, grabbing hold and thrusting ever harder. He felt his knees buckle. As he began to tip, Ashley swung him to the side, and he was able to catch himself against the mirror.

He gazed into the mirror. In front of him, a ghost woman was being pounded by a wolf man. Her panting face contorted in pleasure to match his own expressions. Her hips bucked when his did. He watched her massive tits bounce back and forth, and felt the sensation of their weight on his own frame.

The monsters he saw were the farthest thing from being scary.

Sid came with all his might, releasing a shrill shriek.

FUCK!” The wolf man howled, the tremors of orgasm rocking through his frame.

The two collapsed in a heap, panting heavily. After a few minutes of ragged breath, Sid managed to roll over, and dragged himself over to Ashley. He nestled into her furry chest, and she embraced him in response.

“Hey…” Sid breathed.

“Yeah… Babe?” Ashley managed.

“This was… A stupid plan.” He snuggled in further. “Thanks though.”

Ashley giggled. “You’re welcome.”

——————

Sid and Ashley scurried away from the haunted house, the pitch black night covering their escape.

After recovering from their intense fornication, they had extracted themselves from their respective guises. Thankfully, while exploring the second room, Ashley had also discovered a bathroom. By using a copious amount of paper towels, they had cleaned up the costumes to the point where the sanitation cabinets could probably take care of the rest.

They snuck through several bushes, then quickly hopped the same chain link fence they had bypassed on their way in. With that obstacle clear, they were home free. Their hurried pace slowed to a casual stroll.

Sid took Ashley’s hand. She glanced at him. They had barely uttered a word since doffing their disguises.

“So…” Ashley ventured. “Think you’ll be less squeamish with horror?”

“Heh. Maybe.” Sid chuckled. “Ghosts and wolf men shouldn’t be an issue. Dunno about the rest of the genre.”

“Just imagine them in their underwear!” Ashley laughed.

Sid shrugged. “I might actually have a worse problem now. Imagine having a boner during a slasher film!”

Ashley laughed harder, and squeezed his hand. “Guess we’ll have to see during the next movie night!”

Sid laughed along with her.

The sound of a distant bell tower rang through the air, signaling the stroke of midnight. The pair paused, stopping to listen to the chimes echoing throughout the city. They turned to each other and smiled.

“Happy Halloween!”
