(3616 words)<br /><br />This chapter wasn't supposed to be two parts, but it went a bit long and I decided I might as well split it and post while I finish the rest.<br /><br />To forestall confused questions about a bunch of new characters, I'll be explicit: Miles is the same Mr. Marshall that performed for Augusta's Invite, and Alexandra is "Nora", the Council contractor...obviously pre-Revelation...this Recollection is circa 2006 or thereabouts.<br /><br />P.S.
