Edit: I have a picture in my head of what's happening here that makes the wording make sense, but I want to wait to share that to see if other people can pick up on it without being prompted.

Text:

To a lark,

these few ran, rust
drawing near
wee roach ring,
heart blue thrall
The great fir,
an eel to scar
two servants posing

simple realm, though other
each wish could
bar us by love, to cower
a flow unwise, timid -
rhaps of pain.
Where is love
other, or ours...

    fully
  kin

Edit 2: So, my little mental movie of this was several supernatural creatures ("these few"), fleeing from the modern world squeezing out true belief ("rust drawing near").  The rest of the first section is describing each one ("or pair"), they're sort of fairy-ish but without the typical tinkerbell form?  And don't ask me how can a fir tree can run!

But the lark has the power to fly them elsewhere, a strange ("though other") little world ("simple realm") where they'll be safe from being forgotten...but where true wishes from people might draw upon them, constrain them, for better or worse.  But for all their peril and differences, they're bound together in a common hope, a true family.
