A military delegate visiting a settlement of indigenous folk finds herself before an inconspicuous mirror that bestows her with a detailed repository of historical knowledge after gazing into its distortive reflection, instantly knowing all about the people, their native tongue and their practices. As well as what was expected of every single member within the tribe, especially the role she had to play. All while memories of her past living as a person hailing from an advanced civilization begins to fade away like sand dunes whittling down in the wind, never vanishing but changing shape nonetheless.
