Moving swiftly through the crowded convention center, Aiko swept her gaze over the many booths that filled the massive hall, neon pink drills bobbing left and right with her gaze.
A geek of sorts, the young woman jumped at any opportunity to visit a convention, be they small and niche or big and famous, the young woman had never been disappointed with what they all had to offer. But unlike other conventions Aiko had attended, this one seemed to radiate a strange energy, drawing in more patrons than usual for such a secluded event.
An energy that would see Aiko through a myriad fates, for better or worse…
Eyeing up a strange booth that looked like it aimed to emulate the interior of a pet shop, Aiko approaches the seemingly unmanned booth, not surprising considering how she had arrived early to take in as much as she could.
For all she knew, the booth runners were probably backstage eating breakfast.
“Ah well, can’t hurt to take a look around I guess~”
Moving up the ramp that led into the booth, Aiko gushes as she explores the homely interior, eyeing each one of the glass containers arrayed around the room and their furry contents; ranging from tiny hamsters to large hounds that despite their size, didn't seem intimidating at all, their beady eyes eager for attention as they spot the human approaching them.
“Hey there little fellas! Aren’t you all such adorable lil munchkins~”
Blissfully unaware of the large yellow sign plastered over the enclosures warning people not to attempt to pet or touch the animals, Aiko slips her hand in through a tiny opening meant for feeding in an attempt to pat one of the smaller dogs that looked like a Maltese, the curious little pup approaching Aiko’s eager hand slowly before giving her a tiny lick on the finger, receiving it’s headpats generously with a happy whine.
“That’s a good boy!”
Withdrawing her hand after she was thoroughly satisfied, Aiko fished around in her bag for antiseptic wipes, it wasn’t because she found the dog’s slobber to be disgusting but rather, a simple sense of hygiene. It was a bad idea to go around with an animal’s saliva on your fingers without properly cleaning it off.
“Hm? Lil fella was probably shedding or something…”
Wiping down the fur she could see stuck to her fingers, Aiko squints as she continued to scrub, finding the same tuft of…pink fur glued to her fingers. Rubbing her eyes in disbelief after she began to realize the fur wasn’t stuck to her skin, rather, it was growing out of her skin in thick smooth clumps of pink, only spreading further and further up her entire hand wherever she had wiped.
And the maltese wasn’t pink at all…
“W-What the hell? I-I’m growing fur? Is anyone there?! I need help!”
Turning around towards the doors that led backstage, Aiko’s pleas for help remain unanswered, gripping her arm in a vain attempt to stop whatever was afflicting her from spreading further as she clenched her wrists tightly, unaware of the furry growth jumping over to her other arm as it spreads down her forearms.
But beneath the fur, Aiko’s skin begins to take on a slightly coarse but smooth texture much like that of a cat, only realizing how bad it was getting as she whipped her head back round, a shocked gasp escaping her lips as she watches her palms warp and contort into a pair of padded paws as her fingers meld together, her formerly slender limbs now comically miniaturized and bent forward at the elbow as the pink fur continues up her neck and down her torso, a gurgling sensation in her chest drawing her attention as she watches her B-cup breasts deflate and shrink away, horror filling her as her precious dress falls to the floor with her no longer being able to fit in them.
“N-No! This can’t be happening to-Qui?! Quii!”
Tumbling to her knees as her legs crack and shift into a triple jointed formation, Aiko’s words give way to animalistic mewls and growls as her vocal chords warp and contort, no longer able to formulate words as her skull shifts into that of a feline, cute button nose lengthening into a snout as fur covers her face..
Drastically altered from her former human self, Aiko struggles to move on her unfamiliar limbs, slipping and sliding around the floor as she crawls out from under her discarded pile of clothes and belongings, sharpened razors popping free of her paws in an uncontrollable fit as she slides around the cold floor, aiming for the light outside before her vision blurs, a pained growl escaping her as colors rapidly shift in her eyes, before realizing everything looked both blurred and clear at the same time. Unaware of how her new eyes worked, this only served to disorient the newly changed Aiko as she fell to her chest in a heap, tired and distraught.
As the last of her new organs rumbled and shifted into place, Aiko was human no longer, now fully transformed into an oversized cat-like creature covered in luscious pink fur.
From her position, she could see her new body reflected back at her from the many glass enclosures in the room, staring blankly at the strange pink animal with giant rabbit-like ears. Strangely enough, Aiko had retained her well maintained drilled twintails and fringe, albeit now slightly puffier and frayed considering they were made out of fur instead of hair. A giant fluffy tail lying limp from her rear, having sprouted forth from above her butt at some point…well, what was left of her butt that is.
“Quuiii…”
Within Aiko’s mind however, her human self was beginning to deteriorate rapidly, her brain conforming to her new body as fast as she had transformed physically. Where she should’ve felt remorse or anger at the loss of her humanity, Aiko instead felt nothing as she gazed lazily back at her own reflection, becoming more and more mesmerized as knowledge of mirrors and how they worked left her mind alongside the bevy of tricks she had learned during her time running a saloon she could no longer remember. Only one thing left drifting in her regressed brain as she simply laid still on the cool floor…
“Looks like the test was a success, I wasn't expecting one so soon in the morning and with results like this! We’ve got our first Quickie! But what to do with you…”
Kneeling down to inspect the discarded pile of clothes and items, a strange man fishes out an ID card, the face of the young woman displayed on it striking the Quickie with some pang of familiarity. Was she her owner? Where did the man come from?
“Aiko eh? Is that your name girl?”
Hearing the words made something click in her brain, as she hopped excitedly to her hind feet, landing her paws on the man’s calves as she nudged her head against his side in affection, purring in that strange ‘Qui’ all the way through as she gazed longingly into the man’s eyes with wide eyed curiosity, heart shaped pupils conveying just how she felt towards him…
“Seems so…how do you feel about mating trials? Think you’re up for it?”
Nodding excitedly, Aiko had no idea what he wanted of her, but with the man now firmly ingrained in her mind as her owner. She would gladly do as he instructed, even if that meant she would be impregnated with a litter of Quickie offspring by the end of the day…
