"But this isn't normal Max, you can't seriously be telling me you're still into goth while dressing like some pretty princess!"
"W-what are you even saying? I'm still me Sam! Nothing's changed with how i dress alright? Why are you being so aggressive with me all of a sudden?"
"say that again when you aren't acting like a dumb bitch..."
"Sam! You idiot!"
The moody Sam sighed heavily as he felt the rain of punches bounce harmlessly off the sleeve of his jacket, the angry girl by his side swinging her arms wildly as an adorable 'uuuuu' filled the
air alongside the soft thumps of fist against fabric.
Just a few weeks ago, Sam had been hanging out with his best friend Max, whose name still matched his physical appearance, listening to the latest tracks from their favourite gothic rock bands and having a good smoke out near the convenience store. Until a parcel falls out of a passing truck, hitting the ground and sending a large wave of pink vapor barrelling towards them.
Sam didn’t even know what happened when he was thrown aside, looking up in time to see the form of Max swallowed up by the pink cloud that vanished just as quickly as it emerged, leaving Max coughing and on his knees. After a quick visit to the doctor that turned up nothing major, Sam had seen Max safely home that day, forcing him to take a week long break from college.
But over the next few days as he came to check on his friend, Sam had begun to notice strange changes afflicting Max with each visit to his apartment.
On Thursday, Max seemed slightly shorter, his hair losing the singular purple strip of dyed fringe now lying freely down over his shoulders. Sam hadn’t thought to question him about that or why he seemed to be wearing makeup. Post-accident trauma maybe? And when did he get that adorable kitten plush?
On Friday, Sam had to wonder what was going on when he entered the room to find Max lounging freely on his belly with a long mane of raven black spilled to both sides, earpieces blasting j-pop tracks in nothing more than a tiny singlet and hot shorts, showing off his arched back and soft, creamy skin, the unusually perky rump sticking out in the air as curvy feet shook playfully in the air.
“Kya! S-Sam?! Gosh, at least knock before you enter, geez!”
Although Sam was too busy processing how soft and smooth Max’s rear was to hear the sing-song soprano yelling at him. The sensation of a perfectly squeezable ass lingering on his fingertips as he gazed blankly at them.
And so, he had attempted to get Max’s opinion on all this, not wanting to alarm him, Sam had tried the delicate approach, raising subtle hints and cues to his oblivious friend. All while his attire and body continued to change; growing slimmer, curvier and girlier with each visit.
“C’mon Sam, you know I’d never listen to that sort of stuff! Goth will, and always has been, my life!”
Yet as Max said the words, the latest track from some boy band many of the girls on campus fawned over blared from the pink earbuds poking out of her petite ears.
By the time the following Friday had arrived. Max was barely the same goth loving young man Sam had called his friend; sitting atop the silky sheets of a pink bed dressed in an equally pink dress complete with a corset and even a garter belt. And with the occasional flash of the lace panties riding up between plump thighs and how tight the dress strained against her C-cup breasts, Sam was at his limits, as if it wasn’t already hard enough to keep his irritation in check, the hormonal young man had to contend with being teased non-stop as his friend continued to act as if nothing had changed, showing off her alluring new body in the nude whenever Max decided to strip down to her panties in the warm afternoon.
Even with how much Max had changed, her new attire still showed remnants of her former self; with pink bandages, plasters and even a star-cradled cross that hung from the cute choker wrapped snugly around her thin neck giving her a gothic lolita look. A painful reminder of who she once was...
It was no surprise an argument would eventually break out.
“S-Sam…if anything’s wrong, you can tell me you know? You’ve been acting strange these last few days…if something's bothering you, I-I can help!”
Sam wasn’t sure how to respond as he felt Max’s tiny hand cling harder to his jacket, fighting with conflicting emotions in his mind. Guilt of not being alert enough and needing Max to save him, Anger at his friend for being so carefree as he denied losing interest in their shared passion even though he knew it wasn’t her fault and the growing lust that had flowered since he first laid eyes on Max’s perfect new body.
Would it really be right to start treating Max like a girl? did she even know about her current condition? While he never really brought up the change in gender, Sam had noted on multiple occasions where Max would seemingly become ‘aware’ of her surroundings, acting like a genuine girl around Sam once she realized her situation; a barely dressed girl alone in bed with the opposite sex.
Looking down into the worried eyes that hadn’t lost their brilliant purple sheen, Sam didn’t want to abandon his friend either just because of a change in tastes. The guilt for Max’s predicament still weighed heavily in his mind, and evidently Max wasn’t to blame with how she still seemed to look out for him in her own way. It was a mental strain to even think about it.
Although he wasn’t sure how much longer he could restrain himself from the unfamiliar urges telling him to pin her down to the bed and tell her just how much he wanted her. Whether it was an effect of the gas or maybe just raw desire, Sam couldn’t tell. Did he want to take things further and move forward or did he want to try and bring Max back to her senses despite how she didn’t seem to be weighed down by it like he was?
But as much as Sam would like to deny it, he knew they couldn’t remain as simple friends any longer. The idea of getting married never really came to him before, but leaning closer into the warmth of Max’s dainty body, the seemed more and more enticing with each passing second…
