"Your eyes..."
You sat still as you eyed the strange man stepping through the large ornate doors that led to your chambers, the loud creaking of the wood being the only noise on this strangely silent night, brows furrowing with worry as you eyed the glint of light reflecting off each refined edge of the curved dagger in his hands, dripping with crimson, had he killed everyone? But despite the urge to scream, your years of training and conditioning kick in as you tease the man with a subtle raise of the leg, clenching palms close to your breast as you raise yourself off the ground with one strong leg, glittering waters beneath a heart shaped ass illuminating your perfect body, purple strands of silk glowing subtly in the darkness, framing a delicate flower as effervescent eyes scanned the man from head to toe.
It had become so ingrained in your head that every person that came through those doors was a guest, here to spend one night with the 'Midnight Flower of The Sands" after paying great sums of jewelry to the man that had made you the woman you were today, and your illustrious owner.
Despite the furious look in his eyes, the muscular man seemed strangely familiar, the crest emblazoned on his chestplate stirring emotion within you. Was he someone you'd serviced before? No...this was something more.
You had no recollection of the past before you took on the mantle of the 'Midnight Flower'. Apparently a ritual ingrained in their culture for as long as they could remember where foreign invaders (as the territorial people tended to label outsiders) were captured and converted into beautiful women of their race, no trace of who they were remaining. Not even their memories would stay safe as the passage of time deteriorated their sense of self, eventually devoting themselves to becoming a toy that moved at the whim of their masters.
But you were different, and that was what had made you a personal favourite of the current head of the village. You still had a will, a personality, not like the previous soulless shell you sometimes glimpsed in the waters whenever you had some time off, the fear of losing even more ever present in your heart. You weren't sure of it, but you definitely knew you weren't supposed to be here, that you were never Araya, the name your master called you whenever the two of you were alone. That you were from a far off land where verdant fields and towering castles were common sights to behold, the brief glimpses before they faded from your mind still preserved in the crude sketches you hid in the tiny clearing of the miniature garden that had been your home for the past twenty or so years.
But maybe the grizzled man staring you in the eyes would be your saviour? Eyeing the blade in his hand as he approached slowly, the serious look on his face replaced with what seemed like...relief?
And sadness.
"Derrick? It's you isn't it?"
You cocked your head to the side at the mention of those words, something stirring within you as you ponder the name. But as usual, the only sounds that came out of your mouth were airy breaths and feminine croaks, unable to respond with the knowledge to speak the common tongue long since extracted from your mind, only able to understand what people told you so you were effectively silenced. It had also been years since you last spoke, only ever hearing that sweet voice of yours come out in soft sighs and loud, shameful moans.
But as the splash of the weapon hitting the ground jolts you back to focus, you felt heavy arms press around you, the larger frame of the foreign man taking you into a comforting embrace as his reek entered your nostrils. But it didn't repulse you, unlike the chills you felt with master, this man radiated a warm, friendly aura, like that of meeting a friend you hadn't seen in many, many years.
And as he started sobbing in apparent joy, you couldn't help but wrap your own slender arms around him, feeling his shoulders jerk harder as you press your soft body into him. Whatever this man had been through, you were there to comfort him...and it didn't sitr that same feeling of revulsion like it had your previous experiences as you close your eyes, surprise, happiness and love, all emotions you had thought lost to you, began to flower inside you as you shed a tear out the corner of a pearly eye while the two of you remained in quiet solace for a while.
Maybe this man would finally be able to shed light on your forgotten past, to bring you out of the darkness that had become your life. And as you both look into each other's eyes, a deeper connection stirring within your chest, you can't help but look forward to the future you had once lost hope in.
