When the illustrious astrologist Mona Megistus had first heard talk of a strange phenomena taking place just a hill away from the high walls of Mondstadt, the young prodigy hadn’t the time or the mind to worry about such a thing. Assuming it to be over exaggerated talk stemming from yet another row stirred up by the local Hilichurl population seeking to yet again harass and pester the merchant wagon making it’s round to stock the city’s markets with fresh produce. Without a dragon flying overhead or creeping insurgents seeking to bring ruin, bored townsfolk these days would come up with anything to keep themselves entertained…or so the ever blunt Mona had thought.

Until the Knight’s of Favonius themselves began to perpetuate the ‘rumors’ with even greater detail; talking about a carnival of sorts having sprung up overnight with nary a word or sound of its construction. And even worse, those who wandered in too deep would eventually vanish without a trace after a few unwary Mondstadt citizens and the Knights sent to find them had all failed to turn up hours after venturing beyond the perimeter of the unusual establishment. Coaxing a flurry of speculation to arise about its true nature, with some citing it to be a crazed Domain of sorts forced out into the open through fluctuations in the Ley Lines running deep beneath Teyvat. Catching the astrologist’s attention once she knew people were in actual danger…and that anything to do with Ley Lines might just be worth taking a personal look at besides it being the right course of action to take. Just because the Traveler had been slaving away for awhile before moving on with their journey didn’t mean all the danger was immediately erased, and Mona knew she had to do something with the ingrained responsibility she bore as the blessed wielder of a Vision that had enabled her to use the element associated with water for more than just Hydromancy.

So after a quick look over what she would need to bring along (which usually didn’t amount to much), Mona would set off for the site of the anomaly, and what she saw upon walking a short distance away from Mondstadt’s gates was truly astonishing. A carnival, exactly as the tales described. Except the air surrounding the myriad tents, food stands and entertainment booths was deathly silent and awfully still, as if there were an invisible barrier surrounding the grounds that prevented not even the likes of Mona’s astrology to peer inside and see what really was going on without setting foot within and exploring the area proper…just like all the others who had gone before and never made it back.

Tests were conducted, safety limits established. And shortly after, Mona would be the next to venture past the carnival’s entrance without anyone to back her up. Not when most of the Knight’s important figures were either away or too held up at the moment to attend to the trouble brewing quite literally at their doorstep, leaving the headstrong woman to brave the unknown all on her lonesome self as she struts off into the silent carnival. Masking nervous anticipation with a cool, collected exterior as keen eyes dart between the various stalls and booths while swift calculated steps take her on a slow, careful trawl. All while her skills as an astrologer told her nothing she didn’t already know. In fact, the place seemed to be as ordinary as any other carnival, just devoid of a single soul to man or enjoy the attractions as far as she could tell…so where had all the vanished people gone to?

As if to answer the question floating around within Mona’s mind as she stands idly by in the center of a crossroads, the subtle pulse of a nearby presence alerts the astute woman as her head turns on a swivel to face the direction where a particularly large tent that dwarfs the others sits solemnly like the foreboding entrance to an inhuman entity’s lair despite there not being any hint of animosity or seething intent to be felt from the structure. A feeling Mona would not allow to weaken her guard as she begins to make her approach, remaining highly cautious all the way through once the flaps part upon her entry. Ready to ward off any attacker that might think to take advantage of the cramped interior while the clacking of decorated heels resounds all around the dark, unlit passageway of cloth and wood. Passing the occasional and oddly placed mirror that adorns the length of the wall every now and then, catching her attention as she comes to a stop in front of the fifth one to look herself up in the polished glass. Not noticing a single discrepancy with either herself or the object in question as a gloved hand runs over it…but then again, there always was that whoever or whatever was calling the shots here had the ability to somehow block out the all-seeing eye of astrology. A reminder that frustrates the erudite practitioner before her eyes peel away to continue on her trek down the path, sharp ears picking up on the vague raucous from what sounded like a group of people from further up ahead. No doubt lying in wait beyond another flap she could barely make out in the darkness, only discernible thanks to the bright light shining through the gaps from beyond. A sight that spurs Mona onward with a quickened step and lesser mind paid towards her surroundings…a mistake whose consequences would not be known to her until it was far too late as she continues on her hurried venture, passing mirror after mirror with quite the peculiar oddity beginning to lay it’s invisible hands all over the unwary astrologer the further along she goes.

Not a lick of attention would be paid toward the specks of stardust coating Mona’s trailing twintails as individual strands of lustrous hair alongside the two golden accessories dangling off their tips fuse together in an instantaneous process that sees the bounding trails become stiff and lifeless. Trading lifelike realism for the glistening sheen of rubber once purple threads and cold metal come together as one to produce quite the ridiculous sight; leaving Mona with two balloons tied into a knot to hold the air that gave them their sausage-like shape bobbing behind her head. Secured to her scalp by equally garish ribbons that likewise, had lost all sense of realism and weight once the linen composing them falls prey to another minute shower of the metamorphic dust, leaving them as nothing more than a cheap shadow of what they once were, finishing the ruination of the eloquent lady’s hair with another drizzle that sees the last of her well kempt strands becoming thick and flat. Stripped of all semblance to organic human hair, leaving a caricature of what once was in its place. All while the indignant woman keeps on going, not noticing a thing despite the subtle weight pulling and pushing on her skull once her voluminous witch’s hat succumbs to the magic; jumping a little as it’s immaculate make is thoroughly bastardized into that of a child’s toy…but all this was simply just the prelude to an array of changes targeting the woman’s body proper as Mona’s lithe yet curvaceous form begins to twist and contort in the dark. Gaining ridiculous levels of mass and proportion centered around her torso while hands and legs distort into oblong, serpentine shapes. Applying the same semi-glossy texture once her decorated astrologist raiments seem to flatten and fuse with the underlying skin they clothed, becoming one unbroken layer utilizing only flat color to discern stocking from gilded gold and so on.

Internal organs found themselves wound into a comical layout to fit with a body that had begun to defy the logic of reality itself. Moving with an exaggerated sway to broad steps taken with wavy legs that motioned like a chicken’s while spindly arms that seem to stretch without limit end off in oversized palms tipped with wiener-esque digits lacking a fifth finger. All of it, stripped of the feminine allure Mona once radiated. Leaving her body looking like the vulgar sketch of an artist skilled in such shrewd illustrations by the time her buttocks bloat into jiggling melons that were just as large and firm as the plumped up bust bouncing with overexaggerated vigor off the front of Mona’s chest. Completing the ruination of her lower and upper torso once a warm snatch nestled beneath the remnants of a decorated leotard dotted with the symbols of astrology becomes flat and lifeless; nothing more than a fake and overly risque depiction of a woman’s tender flower as virgin folds fatten into a juicy gash jutting out against the bottom of a pale blue sphere that was her stomach, a raunchy cameltoe that squishes with every step as bountiful thighs press against them with each motion. Leaving Mona’s untouched face to hold out against the transformation the rest of her being had succumbed to, making traversal particularly difficult for the determined lady now that her body had become so lively as it brushes up against the sides of the narrow corridor she had easily fit in the middle of just a few seconds ago.

Ultimately, it was a hidden battle not even the likes of Mona could hold long against once the furred collar of an oversimplified cloak, a star spangled choker tucked around an elongating neck and the bejeweled ornament nestled between jiggling jugs come together in a haze of glimmering blue, leaving an oversized accessory secured by a cartoonish flower that would only serve as a paltry entertainment tool to make the crowd at a fare laugh. Just like the obnoxious noises produced by the large pair of shoes her heels had melted into, wrapped around the feet of a jester more so the dainty twigs of a lady once as fair as Mona was…

If only she would stop and look, the astrologer would’ve taken note of the mastermind pulling the strings right under her nose. Although it wasn’t as if the astrologer could have done anything besides prolong the inevitable while putting on a good pre-show performance for the unseen force controlling the myriad phantom hands working away on Mona’s reflection and in turn, affecting the spontaneous changes seen in her physical self through poof and pings of azure dust as demonstrated when a curious manipulator, decidedly unsatisfied with the subject’s already enlarged bust, cups itself around a hefty heifer in tandem with a friend before fondling their bloated girth to coax yet more mass into the milky melons alongside an added yellow tint to the flowery cups hiding what little modesty there was to the wearer’s bodacious figure. Ending off with an even more pronounced sway to Mona’s undulating form, sporting wasp waisted hips resulting from a simple pinch-and-pull maneuver flanking a spherical core that juts forth with fertile curvature gleaned from ample kneading and generous rubbing, containing only a stomach to digest food and drink with…and a little something else in relation to the birds and the bees. Two vital organs Mona’s less-than-realistic self would need from here on out as she continues to push and squirm her way through the passage, unaware of the special attention her bum was receiving as careful fingers made certain to deepen the crevice between the immense cheeks. Unabashedly jamming a cheeky thumb right where her asshole was located in her body’s altered anatomy, causing the imperiled astrologer to shiver in uncertainty from the warm tingle zipping up a flexible spine as inverted nips twitch while a puckered vag trembles in silent delight. Unable to place the feeling of having her anus penetrated by an oversized digit with anything she had ever experienced before, brushing it off as just a trick of the mind once she comes within inches of the exit, still clueless to the fact that it was she who had gained in size, not the surroundings growing smaller in a bid to crush her before there was even a proper fight to be had.

But with the utter degradation of a little something quite literally behind her back, the fight Mona had assumed to be waiting for her at the end of the road would never come to be. Not when she had already been smeared with the mark of defeat as her unseen opponent finishes its thorough vandalism of the former astrologist’s appearance. Overwriting the subtle beige hue of her skin with a deathly pallor through the expert use of an oversized paintbrush lathered in snow white ink to make the change, leaving her with an appearance closer to that of a court jester than a world-renowned practitioner of astrology whose written contributions to an old newspaper from a land far beyond Mondstadt had been read and critiqued over a dozen times now from the likes of ordinary folk to well read scholars. But this comparison would only cement itself further once the emergence of light shines a better view over just how unrecognizable Mona Megistus had become ever since setting foot in the cursed corridor. Having lost all signs of ever being a woman of astrology when all emblematic patterns on her person had either been removed or dumbed down to the point of ridicule. Grunting just in time for her lips to pucker and squeeze together into a perpetual ‘O’ of surprise as invisible gloss of husky scarlet in a lighter shade to the squeaky toy her nose had been replaced with lathers itself over the inflated suckers lined before pinching fingers widen over narrowed eyes strained in effort. Distorting the last vestiges of the young prodigy just in time for her to go stumbling through the flaps toward the other side after managing to free a thickened derriere from narrow walls it could barely slide through unobstructed where an obnoxiously loud sound akin to a rank fart would resound from sporadic steps taken with oversized shoes in a difficult attempt to catch her balance from a sudden change in central mass she had not noticed till now. Staying rooted right where she stood with a stupefied look of ghastly surprise written clear for all to see on a face that could best be described as that of a cartoonist’s depiction of Astrologist Mona Megistus. Turning to face a thronging theater filled with a modest number of folk all sporting the same animated ‘style’ the stunned heroine had been afflicted with. And amongst the crowd, there stood a few familiar faces Mona could still recall despite the various changes made to their rubbery forms through whatever twisted malediction had gripped them all, like the young Knight who always stood guard outside the gates, or even the likes of Margaret, who looked like she had fared worse than Mona had; sporting a look that made her appear more like a bumbling tavern wench than the prim and proper proprietress of the Cat’s Tail she was supposed to be, all while wearing an amused smile on her sketched face despite the circumstances, evidently a decision imposed against her will when her eyes, as beady as they were, lacked the light of intelligence all free souls no matter the sort should’ve had shining brightly from behind their glassy exteriors. Instilling a righteous fury within her racing heart at the thought of whatever horrid experience the vanished folk must’ve undergone to have their wills snuffed out so thoroughly like what she was seeing right now, balling quad fingered hands into fists. A terrible translation of the anger she felt when said fists looked more like harmless balloons than weighty bludgeons, backed by spindly arms empted of supple flesh and thin muscle that once gave them the subtle curves streamlined into the current form they were temporarily stuck in until she could find some way to dismantle this sick operation.

But before Mona could think to do much else like ponder the thought of how all this was just some dreadful illusion conjured by the the likes of the Abyss Order to freak her out and break her will or show the mastermind just how grave an error it was to mess with someone imbued by the power of a Vision. A loud, earth shaking voice erupts from sources unseen, reverberating throughout the circular chamber with enough strength to make the insides of Mona’s head shake, catching her off guard before attempting to prepare a counter offensive in the face of an impending attack before hearing of the outlandish slander being flung her way without restraint…unaware of how venomous words slid easily down her ears before entwining around a helplessly addled brain that fogs over in an instant, making it increasingly hard to formulate a cohesive line of thought. As if an invisible plug funneling air through its length had jammed itself into her brain, pumping and pumping until…

“Ohoh! It looks like the star of our next performance has finally come out to play! Ladies and Gentlemen! A round of applause for Moana The Clown! Our tardy comedian with an ego as inflated as she is! And oh, what a body she’s got…just look at those succulent fruits she's got rockin’ off that grade A frame! Doesn’t the sight of it just make you want to go wild? Well? Come on then O great busty clown! What’ve you got in mind to show us today?”

*POP!*

Anger fades in favor of bubbly excitement at the voice’s invitation for her to perform after her brain had exploded with a cute little pop into colorful confetti that leaves little else but the task at hand for the doomed astrologer who could no longer remember a lick about her time anywhere else but here within the confines of the circus tent she could not help but call home. Left with barely a fraction of a second to think about why she could no longer feel the surge of energy provided by a Vision that no longer existed before a new persona takes over, reaching up unashamedly to pinch at her nose while stomping her legs in a most undignified manner to produce a shrill series of noises that would’ve made anyone turn their noses up in disgust, or in this scenario; point and laugh at the clown making an utter fool of herself for the entertainment of the masses before her performance begins to grow more frenetic, maneuvering in a manner not too dissimilar to the way she would usually move when performing one of her more stronger displays of power in the heat of combat, with an equally livid expression overtaking the idiotic grin on her face, almost as if some part of Mona wanted to show the nefarious being in charge the power of her will…before ending off with a disappointing squirt of water shooting out from the blossom toy nestled tightly around her neck accompanied by a euphoric sigh and a vapid giggle slipping out of wanton lips in response to the jeers and boos from a disappointed audience she no longer knew enough about to warrant the idea of ‘rescuing them’, a term lost to the orgasming clown who would continue to relish in the shame of it all without a hint of concern to the degrading display that would’ve left her former self in shambles. Washing away what remained of her former self as the cartoony clown resumes her performance despite the negative reception, utilizing the tools of a jester as was befitting of her renewed appearance warped from all the astrology tools she had bought and tucked away with her monthly income alongside the use of her own body’s generous assets whenever possible…painting the image of a lewd clown over the scholarly astrologist Mona could no longer remember, much less see herself as after thoroughly succumbing to the mindless joys of servitude, losing the light in cyan blue eyes after soaking herself silly for the umpteenth time through haphazard sprays of water live on stage…giving the hunky menfolk in the stands a good view of slick tits and the occasional glance at her equally drenched nethers, masking quick rubs and stealthy pinches every time the arousal would reach its peak.

And while the performance continued, the gates to the carnival would remain open. Ready and waiting for the next exciting act to come bumbling in, unawares of what awaited them within the large tent abuzz with the sounds of an undecided audience and the lascivious wench debasing herself before their ever watchful eyes…but if Moana’s performance was anything to go by, the unseen entity running the carnival would have little reason to move on so quickly when such prime talent had found itself wandering right into it’s waiting hands…

THE END
