Sure, why not. Not as if this thing will cause me harm…i hope…
Scoffing for going along with it, you braced yourself for anything that could happen as you held out the stick gingerly at the tip of two fingers as you lit your lighter, bringing it up to the flimsy wood.
According to what you could glean from the letter, you had to visualize your ideal girl in your mind as you set fire to it. Closing your eyes, you focused on a tall slender woman, her body clothed in petite innocent clothes that cloaked the beauty beneath from prying eyes besides her special someone. Reminding yourself of that tearjerker you’d read recently, wanting to at least experience the warmth of true love at least once like the fictional characters in the book.
She would probably be a year or two your senior in school, a kind, caring personality to go along with her angelic looks and maybe even hail from a rich family of sorts? Nodding as you agree with the final bits alongside a whole list of other weird facts about your dream girl, you light the stick, a sharp crackling noise forcing your eyes open as you watch the burning cinders rapidly disintegrate, consuming itself as it burns out completely in a second.
You waited for a moment, looking around the empty halls, half expecting to find the girl of your dreams round the corner and greet you with a smile on her face until you heard the sounds of rapidly approaching footsteps, shoes tapping against the cold tiled floor as your breathing quickened.
Only to see the face of your best friend, Timothy, turn the corners as he peeked in with a quizzical look, watching you alone in the corridor with the lighter still ablaze in your hand.
“Everything alright there dude?”
Sighing, you pocket the lighter before shutting your locker, slinging your bag lazily over your shoulder as you go to meet your friend, the letter all but forgotten at this point as it remains in the darkness of your locker.
Yep…all good, just got pranked or something. C’mon let’s go or we’ll miss the movie! Sorry for the delay…
–
You frowned as you exited the school with Thomas in tow, noticing something strange with him as you were putting on your shoes at the foyer. He was part of the baseball team and one of their aces wasn't he? You definitely could’ve sworn his feet were too dainty and small from what little you saw earlier as he slipped his running shoes into his locker, the older, familiar image of his toughened calves and calloused feet still fresh in your mind.
And glancing sideways, you tried not to freak out as he met your gaze, his face looking more petite and ‘clean’, the stubble growing on his chin nowhere to be found as he shot you a look that looked off on his face. In fact, he should’ve been looking down at you literally, but now here he was, looking at you normally with his obvious reduction in height.
Hey…you feeling alright there? You look…off today.
You gulped as you saw him raise a hand up to his chin in an off-putting way as he laughed. It wasn’t the act that freaked you out but rather how it clashed with his usual stern demeanor, he wasn’t acting like himself at all…in fact he seemed rather girlish now that you looked closer at the way he moved; his legs closely tucked together, taking short yet swift steps that fell in line with each other, his torso barely bobbing as he held his bag slung under one arm, like a woman’s handbag.
“Im quite alright thank you, I should be asking you that instead, you’re looking pale all over!”
Putting on your most confident smile, you reassured Timothy that everything was A-Okay…as you saw his eyes slant downwards, lashes lengthening while his cracked lips puffed up into bright pink cushions as he returned the smile. His distorted nose popping into a cute button that only served to emphasize the new qualities of his changed face as he beamed back at you.
Whatever was happening, it didn’t seem like Timothy was able to notice it, from the way his nose bent and cracked into shape, it definitely looked like it would’ve caused incredible pain but apparently not. With how distracted you were, you hadn't noticed how his entire body from the neck down had begun to come to life with change, his clothes ruffling with movement as his flesh and bone realigned themselves. Even now you could see his hips slowly expand outwards as a bounce to his chest began to accompany each step, the muscled athlete from before slowly being altered from memory the closer you got to the mall.
Wait…this couldn’t be that…right?
Deciding to keep your eyes off of him for the time being, you proceed normally as the two of you cross the entrance of the mall, making for the lifts at the far side for the top floor, trying to keep the subtle sounds of ruffled clothing and organic pops at the back of your mind, until what sounded like a moan brushed by your ears. The heck, was he enjoying this?
More importantly, the other people in the elevator with you apparently had no response either, a mother and her child conversing ignorantly with each other, ignorant of the soft moans and cries emanating just behind them along with the occasional snap of bone and the squish of shifting flesh.
Nearing the cinema however, you turned around as you heard a loud cry of panic that sounded like it came from a young girl. Spinning round to see Thomas…or what had become of Thomas, clutching at the ill-fitting pants piled up beneath a pair of long, shapely legs, your eyes widening as you take charge of the situation, ignoring the sight of the retreating manhood between Thomas’ legs as you block your friend from the public eye as curious onlookers walk by, rushing close to him and brushing up against his extremely short frame. He’d already lost enough height to have his head rub against your chest as you held him in your arms, refusing to look at your friends trembling body as you felt him tense up and freeze, an “Eeep!” of surprise emanating from below you at your impromptu hug.
Toilet’s behind you, you can handle this by yourself right?
The soft sigh followed up by an arousing voice that spoke the words “Thank You.” were more than enough to break the dam below, blood rushing into your buddy down under as an erection tented your pants. You had thought about the possibility back when you briefly spoke with the changing Timothy but refused to believe it, hoping it was all some fever dream.
But that brief moment of contact and hearing that airy, seductive voice in your ears was all you needed to confirm that the letter had in fact been real. But instead of materializing your dream girl like you thought it would, it had used Timothy as a baseline to create your dream girl instead. Was it because he was the closest person nearby at the time he burnt the stick? You couldn’t tell for sure.
What you could tell for sure though, was that you needed to use the toilet…
–
Stumbling into the woman’s toilet, Thomas sighed as she laid her bag down by the basin top, not noticing the simple schoolbag finalize its transformation into an expensive designer bag as she knelt down, looking past the remnants of a fading male, school uniform while redoing the straps on her fancy sandals before grabbing the hem of her fallen skirt as she slung it back up her stocking covered legs and around her subtly curved hips, making sure the thing was tight and firm before ensuring her frilly blouse was prim and properly tucked in at the bottom, adjusting the cute little ribbon that sat on her collar as she eyed herself in the mirror, wide brown eyes staring her beautiful form up and down.
She couldn’t believe she’d had to have her crush of all people see her like that on her first date out with him. Not to say a closet malfunction was acceptable elsewhere but the look on his face and his eyes when he turned to look at her as she yelped out uncontrollably…he definitely saw her underwear! She grew flustered as she thought of it.
She blinked as she came across a sudden thought, withdrawing her purse from the bag before looking at her reflection displayed on the identification card within as she read the name printed in bold at the top; Himekawa Aoi
That was weird, she could’ve sworn she’d just referred to herself as a ‘Thomas’ earlier, that was a local name wasn’t it? For all she knew, she’d lived most of her life back in her homeland of Japan before being sent overseas as an exchange student for some business deal her family had going with a well known education institute based in the West. Eager to improve relations for her family’s business and name, she had agreed to the proposal wholeheartedly.
That was how she came to be enrolled in this homely high school in a quiet urban town. Taking on a spot in the fledgling archery club before having that fateful reunion with a young boy she remembered all those years ago when she was just a child in Japan, playing with that foreign boy before he had to go back to his country, just when it seemed like those days would go on forever.
Fate had seen to it that the pair be reunited again in different homelands as Aoi found herself in the West, standing before her childhood partner in the hallway after school, quickly dragging him to a quiet spot in an empty classroom for a long time reminiscing together about what they’d both missed in each other's lives. Marking an excellent start to what she’d thought to be a boring five years in America.
That same flash happened again in Aoi’s head as it corrected yet another error in her memory as she remembered all the times they met from their reunion, in the cafeteria for lunch, on the way to school, on the weekends as he commuted on public transport. She wondered why she was about to recall activities regarding baseball when the first she only ever saw games on the television, she really was out of it this evening.
Clapping her dainty palms against her soft cheeks, Aoi steeled herself as she slung her handbag back under her shoulders, resolving herself to a successful date with her boyfriend this Valentine’s as she spun round her heels, carrying herself with that dignified nobility ingrained into her very blood as she left the toilet, not wanting to keep her date waiting any longer.
–
Sighing as you leave the toilet, you look around at the exit, noticing an absence of Thomas as you lean up against the wall in silence, dreading what would step out of the toilet in a few more seconds. Thomas was never one to dawdle in the toilet so he expected the same once he…or rather she was done fixing herself up.
You were confident Thomas was no longer the same muscular man you remembered him as. After all, during that brief moment of close contact, you had managed to cop a feel or two as you hugged her soft, tender frame, the undeniable sensation of a pair of moderately sized breasts rubbing up against your chest through her thin shirt as it was mid way through changing, taking note of the pink dotted bra that encapsulated her tits before you parted ways.
But was she still Thomas on the inside? For all you knew, Aoi could’ve subsumed and taken over your friend’s place in existence. How would you know? Of course you would, in a way, you were her father and mother; the creator of her very existence. If it weren’t for your pervasive mind meddling with that cursed letter, maybe you’d be in the theater with your best friend by now.
But was this a bad thing? Sure, there were the moral complications of having tampered with reality and forcibly overwriting someone as your perfect loving girlfriend from Japan, but thinking about it, did it matter in the end? Aoi would be a happy girl in this, innocently in love with you as she always had been…IF the mental correction bit was true. You weren’t quite sure how strong the spell’s (you assumed) effects were, but after seeing people turn a blind eye to Thomas’ transformation and how his clothes had begun to shift and change into a dress, it was probably pretty damn strong.
I lose out on a best friend but I also gain a loving girlfriend who fits the very description of my dream girl with reality changing to fit…it's a win-win isn't it?
After a few more minutes waiting in silence while pondering if you’d made the right choice, you whipped out your phone, switching over to the contacts list to find Thomas completely removed from the list as expected, ‘Aoi’ instead filling in the blanks where Thomas’ name would be, the message history shifting from talk about video games and gossip to anime and manga along with a plentiful helping of Good Night/Morning’s littered here and there at the start of every day.
“There you are! I was just about to call!”
You were just about to tap on the social media tab to check out how Aoi looked like before a heavily accented woman’s voice called out to you, grabbing your attention as you looked up, flabbergasted at the sight of a beautiful young lady dressed up in fancy clothes approaching you from the cinema’s entrance, a pair of tickets in her hand with her bag swinging in her other, the hand wrapped gently around a bright pink phone instead of the usual brown covered one you had grown used to seeing..
“Where were you? You were taking so long so I went ahead to grab our tickets. Look, I've even got our food ready!”
You didn’t know what to say as you saw the picturesque form of your girlfriend glide out of the cinema cheerfully, a happy blush on her cheeks as she approached you, silky locks of hair swaying as she went, a gentle bob on her chest with each step, the deceptively large melons hidden behind her innocent attire.
You didn’t need to recall the list that ran through your head back at school or the lack of his name in your phone contacts list to realize Thomas was no longer around anymore, scanning the perfect replica of your dream girl as she stood before you in his stead, no signs of the former baseball star remaining and your former lingering regret completely absolved.
Focused on the beauty in front of you as she playfully waved a hand in your dazed eyes, you didn’t notice your school clothes warping into a proper set of clothes more fit for the occasion as a leather jacket, jeans and form fitting white t-shirt forms over you. The bag vanishes from your hand as it teleports back home, leaving you looking ready for the occassion.
Your earlier mental struggle about Thomas’ loss fades from concern as your brain undergoes a swift reformatting, all remaining memories of Thomas being replaced with a different life; meeting Aoi as young children during a business trip to Japan that saw you staying there for awhile before having to go back to America, tearfully saying goodbye.
It wasn’t until a few years later when you started your first year in this school when you noticed a certain female student in the crowd of first years, coincidentally ending up in the class next to hers. Making your move after classes had ended, you were elated to find you were correct, reuniting with your childhood friend after all these years away from each other. You almost couldn’t believe how beautiful she’d become as you spent the afternoon talking together in an empty classroom.
With this change in memory, your body tightened up as muscles formed over where fat would be, hours on the couch gaming with a blurry image replaced with going out constantly with Aoi, helping her with studies in English and working out more often alongside her as you met up on the weekends together. Soon, you were looking fitter than ever, arms ripe with muscle but not too much, your pot belly vanishing altogether as your sweat head of hair combed itself back neatly.
Snapping out of the spell, you blink as you come face to face with your girlfriend, her adorable oriental face pressed up close to yours as you breathed in her perfume, pecking her on the lips as she returned your kiss in earnest, parting ways as you stare dreamily into her eyes, a bridge of saliva between your lips and her kissable cushions.
It looked like the two of you were about ready to go again before Aoi’s eyes widened, backing off for the moment as she realized now wasn’t the right time.
“Ahem! We’ve still got a movie to go for…maybe afterwards okay?”
You notice the coy look in her foxy asian eyes as she gazes longingly at the buldge in between your legs as she fidgets in place, her arousal as obvious as yours.
Hah, sorry there, I was distracted earlier…thinking silly thoughts.
“Hee hee, I hope they were about the lovely girl you kept waiting for a bit longer than she’d like~ C’mon! Movies gonna start any second now!”
Watching the lovestruck couple fawn over each other as the girl rushes her teasing boyfriend into the cinema, the mysterious figure turned to take his leave, headed back down the escalator and satisfied with his work. Having served yet another couple and on the prowl for more people in need of Love during the last few hours of this most wonderful day.
THE END
