Link was stuck between a rock and a hard place. It had been a few days since he set foot in the Gerudo Desert where the unrelenting blaze of the sun was the strongest across Hyrule. If the heat wasn’t enough, there were plenty of monsters lying in wait out across the sands; from the gangly Lizalflos to the menacing giant Moldugas that would come flying out of the sands hungry for a quick bite if you were unlucky enough to step foot in their territory.

The brave Hylian hero had made it this far to gain access to and defeat the corruptive forces of Ganon currently infesting the Divine Beast, Vah Naboris. The issue was that the Gerudo Town, populated by the native Gerudo tribe who were exclusively female, only allowed women of the other Hylian races to enter. Making it the biggest hurdle Link had ever faced. Recalling the words of Benja, the portly merchant leader keeping watch on the town gate, he’d told Link of the existence of a man who managed to sneak into the town undetected, moving as one among its Gerudo inhabitants. Returning to the nearby Kara Kara Bazaar in search of this individual, Link would come across Villia, an eccentric man that gave Link an idea of what he had to do in order to gain access to Gerudo Town the moment he laid eyes on him.

After a rough and awkward first encounter with Villia, Link would finally manage to buy a full set of Gerudo clothes off of her, claiming that his slim and feminine physique would pass Link off for a girl in spite of his height and trained body as a knight, seeing as how all of the Gerudo were well built with muscled limbs and had amazingly tall stature, a common trait amongst the Gerudo.

Walking in cautiously, Link had breathed a sigh of relief as the watchful guards who’d once threatened him with their weapons let him through without batting an eye. The clothes he wore felt too exposed, the usual feeling of armor hugging his body being absent made him feel wrong all over. It would be over soon though, he’d thought, if he could just make it to the leader of the tribe and explain his business to her, he could get straight back to wearing actual armor again...though he had to admit the breezy winds rubbing against his exposed skin felt calming in the heat of the desert.

Stuck in his daydreams however, Link doesn’t notice the massive frame of one of the gatekeepers approaching him from behind. By the time he does, Link turns around to receive a face full of sword hilt as the guard bashes him in the head with it at full force, knocking him out.

Awakening with a pounding ache in his temples, Link struggles on the floor, his arms and legs bound in place as his eyes adjust to the darkness around him, revealing the dusty sandstone walls of a Gerudo prison cell.

“From the moment I laid eyes, I knew you were up to something Voe!” Glancing up towards the voice, Link catches sight of the guard from earlier standing behind up, weapon clutched tight in one hand. “You trespass upon Gerudo Town where Voe like you are not welcome! Prancing about in Vai garb as if we would not notice!” Ignoring the raving Gerudo, Link tries to undo the binds around his he catches sight of his gear still laying by the bench near the cell doors. If he could just leap or crawl over, he’d be free! His thoughts of freedom are cut off however, as Link feels himself being dragged away as the Gerudo guard turns him over onto his back, a mask now in her arms as she glares down in disgust at Link.

“Not listening eh? As expected of Voe such as yourself! Since you so love moving around in dress, let us make it official shall we? No Voe shall be allowed inside walls, but as Vai you would fit those clothes better!” Struggling, Link is held in place as his Gerudo tormentor lowers the mask over his head, moving back once the job is done as Link feels the mask glue itself to his face, his very skin beginning to feel numb and prickly as the mask molds itself to fit his proportions.

“Let change...begin!” At her words, the mask begins to glow with vibrant energy as Link’s skin begins to darken from the head down, pale skin dyeing itself a natural brown as his flesh begins to gain a shiny, oily sheen to it, yet retaining its hardened contours. “You will make excellent Gerudo warrior! If not for your admittedly well trained Voe body, would have to train from start!” At her words, Link’s mind fills with worry; was the mask turning him into a Gerudo? He wouldn’t have to wait long however, as he begins to feel his solid chest bubble with healthy amounts of fat, growing out into sizable breasts as his panicked breathing emphasizes its heft, the melons rising and falling with each breath. “Impressive! You will also make excellent Vai to begin family with when heading out to find suitable Voe!”

Thrashing about in a renewed effort to break free, Link only manages to send unfamiliar sensations through his changing body. His new assets were sensitive...almost too sensitive, as each trash sent them flopping around widely, the malleable flesh bouncing in all directions as brown nipples perched at the tips begin to go erect. The changes progressed further down his body, although he still retained most of his original body, the now dark brown skin tone and feminine contours he sported alongside his muscles signalled what the end result would be. With a groan, Link began to feel the member between his legs twitch as the changes intensify, gulping as he hears an audible pop, the guard laughing as she watches his dick begin to recede back into his body. “No fear Voe...or I should say, Vai!”

Link barely hears her words however, as an indescribable pulse of pleasure flows through his body, combined with the growing warmth in his belly as his receding testicles and penis reshape themselves into a working womb with fresh pulsing ovaries, Link grits his teeth shut as he stifles himself, wanting to scream his pleasures to the world. But judging by the now feminine grunts and squeals leaking through his lips, he wasn't about to embarrass himself in front of his captors by giving in to the mind breaking pleasure. As feeling returned to his face, Link realizes his arms were free, ropes snapped with the increased body mass pushing them to the limit, reaching up to rub his soft face with his muscled yet feminine hands, he realized he could feel the warmth of his new skin, was the mask permanently bonded or something? Hands now free from their binding, Link’s other hand rushes down to the void between his legs, wincing as his overeager fingers brush past the damp folds of his new sex, the heart pounding sensation of his own tender digits probing away the warm tight snatch that was his vagina irrevocable proof he was no longer a man.

“Need mirror Vai? Gaze upon your beautiful features! Mask did well!” Surprised as her captor comes in close, Link can only gaze in shock at the mirror she offered to her. Looking back at her reflection, Link no longer saw the blonde young Hylian man she’d grown so used to seeing everyday in puddles of water or the occasional mirror. Instead, a young Gerudo woman with captivating facial features and a stunning body despite her bulging muscles stared back at her. Gone was her short crop of spiked blonde hair, replaced by a buoyant mane of silky crimson hair that flowed down across the smooth contours of her back, tickling her slightly plump rear. Blushing as her eyes glance downwards at the melons and muscled thighs hugged by her clothing, once ill-fitting, now serving to emphasize the beauty of a Gerudo warrior. Was this truly her?

“Hahah! You turned out well Vai! Wait till you meet Lady Riju! She will be in charge of deciding your fate. Although you are now one with the Gerudo...it does not change fact you came here as Voe outsider!” Not even a minute after gracing her new form, Link is dragged away by their hair as her captor laughs out loud, telling her not to worry and that their chief would welcome her with open arms as a new warrior of the Gerudo tribe.

When the newly transformed Link had been brought before the young chief of the Gerudo tribe, no one in the hall had believed that the trembling Gerudo woman kneeling in front of them was once the former Champion that would return to vanquish Calamity Ganon, despite her transition into a Gerudo, Link still retained her normal height, making her look like a child amongst her new sisters. Riju had given the Gerudo guard a proper scolding, worried that what she’d done doomed not only her but possibly the entirety of Hyrule.

After some proper introductions and time given to Link for her to grow used to her new form, Link had gotten back to her former self pretty quickly, despite her heaving breasts and new centre of gravity she needed to keep in mind during fights. Her new Gerudo body had blessed her with formidable strength and combined with her previous tenacity and wits as a long standing Knight of Hyrule. Link had become a powerhouse. Soon, Riju’s confidence in the Champion had returned, the two would prepare to restore Vah Naboris to its former self and to free the soul of the former Gerudo Champion from Calamity Ganon’s clutches.

There were some fun time as well, getting used to her new body as a Gerudo warrior meant time spent amongst the inhabitants of the Town. Link had on occassion gotten frisky with some of the older Gerudo women who found her new form enticing as they passed glances at him on the streets, some even sneaking spanks and gropes in when they got the opportunity. She had fun over the past few days spent as an ordinary Gerudo woman, dancing and dressing in clothes she never would have been able to wear as a Hylian male, she found the comparisons between her and Riju weird though, apparently her softer features had made her look like the little sister to Riju, and considering how close the two had been over the past few days, it came to no surprise that people saw the two of them that way.

Link wasn’t completely sure with herself though. Sure, with her new form, she was leaps and bounds stronger and faster but it didn’t change the fact that she’d lost her manhood and original Hylian self. What would Zelda think if she saw her again after all these years? Her former knight, now some beautiful Gerudo warrior prancing about without a care in the world. But was it totally her fault though? She’d been told by Riju that the mask was unique in that it was produced under the careful eye of some ancient Gerudo sorceress who had connections with the Yiga tribe. The only reason it landed in the hands of the guard was because it had been a family trinket, only to be used when the time came to convert a mere Voe to replenish the Gerudo's ranks...and seeing as how Link had been the first one to ever set foot in the Gerudo Town, the guard sprang her trap.

No matter the case, Link would burn that bridge when she came to it, for now, she had an impending battle against a portion of Calamity Ganon himself to prepare for. But with her newfound ally and chief, Riju. She was sure she couldn’t fail this task.
