On May 1st and 2nd, 2010, my friends and family supported our friend by engaging in a Relay For Life event. We walked off and on for 24 hours.<br /><br />What you see is a $3 necklace. We could add 1 white bead per lap. On the fourth lap, we put a purple bead to count as a mile. If you count up the purples, you will see I walked 15 miles in 24 hours.<br /><br />But the good news is ... we were a part of raising over $73,000 for curing cancer!
