The smell. Oh the aroma pulls at him and drags him out of slumber. Like an exotic belly dancer curling her finger while shaking her hips, she lures him into a half-awake state. With much effort he slides out from under the covers, slumps down the side of the bed, and slithers across the floor to the closet. Eyes still closed and drawn by the alluring scent, he snags a bathrobe and slips it on.

Zombie-like, he lumbers toward the source of the captivating smell. In the kitchen he finds it, the coffee pot about half full. He'd pour himself a cup, but he is more of a tea drinker. So, he reaches to one side and fills a mug with the translucent liquid. His cup says, "I put the 'temper' in 'temperamental'." If he were awake, he might have noticed that someone switched his cup with hers.

After a sip or two, his eyes begin to open wider than a crack. Ready, at last, he turns toward the dining room and the white haired female at the table. Knowing full well that whatever she answers he will have to make, he asks anyway, "You want something, Snow?" He dare not show it on the outside, but on the inside he smiles at his pet name for her.

She nods causing her loose pony tail to bob up and down behind her head. Her face, more awake than his, is washed but with no makeup. He likes this because her gets to see her freckles. She, on the other hand, will powder up after she eats.

Her cup has lines around it. The top line says, 'Eyes barely open' and the bottom one, 'Ready to start the day'. She gestures with her mug in a swirling pointing way, "Breakfast, of course, Sully."

He grimaces at the mangling of his name but steps over to the pantry. With a flourish that leads into a bow, he opens the door for her to see in. "How about some cereal and milk?"

Snow licks her lips tasting the potential flavors in her mouth. Tilting her head this way and that, she comes to the conclusion, "Nah, I don't want that."

Closing the door and heading to the refrigerator, he scoops out a pitcher of batter. He takes a step towards the iron, "Waffles?"

He almost makes it when she finishes 'tasting', "Nah, not that either."

Unfazed, he returns and swaps one picther for another. He makes a break for the cabinent with the pans, "Pancakes?"

He almost makes it to the stove when she says, "No, I don't think so," her lips still wet from licking.

He shuffles back to put the pan back, trying to think of what she wants for breakfast. He turns back to her, trying to see if her face gives it away. All he finds instead is a smirk. He can tell that she now knows what she wants but is not telling him.

What haven't I thought of? A thought comes to him. He puts the batter back in the fridge but keeps the pan. Back to her while scrounging around in the meat drawer, he calls behind him, "Bacon? Hashbrowns?"

Sullivan turns back around to Snow shaking her head. "Are you kidding," she asks adjusting her elastic workout top for comfort, "You know how much extra I'll have to workout if I ate those?"

Shoving the food back in the fridge and spinning to face her, he blurts out with frustration tinging his words, "What do you want, then?"

Her smile gets bigger. She points at him and flicks her finger up. "I want eggs for breakfast."

"Okay, I can do that." He checks the the shelves then looks again. "Uhhh, maybe I can't do that," he confesses. "We don't have any eggs."

"Then go get some. I can wait ... a little while."

"I would if we had any money. I don't get paid until Tuesday."

She points at him and flicks her finger again. Her eyes are shining as she says, "I guess we'll have to get eggs a different way." Something appears in his throat. With each rise of her finger the whatever it is fights its way up.

Eyes surprised, he asks, "What," but with his throat full, it comes out more like, "Whug?" Breathing is difficult and his esophagus fights it, but after a moment, an egg that barely fits out of his wide open mouth drops into his hands.

He turns to Snow. Sully wants to ask her about what is happening, but before he can his stomach feels uncomfortable. Something is moving around down there. Then they jump up into his throat like Mexican Jumping Beans. Again his throat fights the unnatural movement. And the clogs in his throat dance to the waving of her finger.

And just like the last time, two palm sized eggs join the other via his mouth.

Boonswaggled, he alternates looking at his hands and at Snow. Where did these come from? How did they get in there? How did they get out? What's going on? Snow calls over to him, breaking him out of his thoughts, "You have eggs now. Get crackin'."

Still discombobulated, he puts the ingredients in hand into the pan he dropped on the floor and takes the pan to the stove, "Wha? What kind? Scrambled?"

She licks her lips, "Nah."

"Hard boiled?"

"Noooo."

"Poached?"

"Nah."

"Eggs Benedict?"

With each question her smile has gotten brighter, "Nope."

He looks at her bewildered, "Is this Twenty Questions?"

"Nah."

"Then what do you want?"

Animated, she says, "I'm glad you asked. I'd like some egg whites mixed with cooked veggies. Think you can handle that?"

"Sure."

"And could you hurry a little? It's getting close to time to leave for the gym for my class."

"Absolutely." His knife speeds up to a blur as it slices the zucchini, tomato, and carrot into pieces. With a spin the vegetables are in the pan, sizzling.

"Oh. And do you have any melons?"

"Yup." He fetches a honeydew, slices it into chunks, and adds a dash of strawberries and slices of banana to the pile. Sullivan adds the whites the pan and stirs it all together. Moments later, he plates it all and delivers it to her at the table.

"Thank you." She says looking at him before her first bite. After a bite or two she turns him, "Now that you are awake, are you coming to the gym with me?"

"Do I have a choice?"

"Then you'd better get dressed. I'm leaving when I finish eating." He heads off to the bedroom to get dressed.

Upon reaching the room, Sullivan heads to the closet. While flipping through the clothes, he notices something. This is not his closet in the master bedroom. He decides to use the house intercom system, which amounts to raising his voice, "SNOOOOWWW? WHY AM I GOING THROUGH YOUR CLOSET?"

Her voice, also projected, is quieter, "Wheh doen oo goah do mie drawr?"

She must have her mouth full. He heads back to the door of the room, "What?"

"Why don't you put on my purple workout gear? That way we'll match." Walking back to her drawers, he notices something else. Something about his hips swaying.

Leaning down he almost bumps his head from the added weight on his chest. He gathers the requested outfit and takes it back into the master bathroom. Standing in front of the mirror holding the outfit to himself, it all clicks into place.

Looking down, he sees two fleshy mounds disabling him from seeing anything below. Looking back up into the mirror he spots a beautiful woman looking back. Snow slides around behind him. How long have I been standing here?

Confused he asks, "What happened?"

Snow smiles, "Well, you did say you had some melons. I decided to agree." Then she bumps shoulder with Sully causing his unbound chest to wiggle from side to side.

This is rather bizarre. Turning to her companion, "And where did the eggs come from?"

Snow pretends to be innocent, "From your Fallopian Tubes, of course."

He jerks his hands down to his crotch to find 'it' gone. That's when he notices his Adam's Apple and his balls are gone, and he suspects he knows where those three things went.

At Snow's words, he, or rather she, springs into action, sliding on the panty-like purple bottoms and matching lycra sports bra top. Sully notices that she looks like a double to her wife, except Snow has white hair.

Snow offers running shoes and short ankle socks which Sully puts on automatically. "What's going on? Why can't I stop doing what you say?"

Looking to her face with its knowing smirk that drives Sully crazy yet makes him love her more, "It's a secret."

Trailing behind Snow, Sully follows her to the door before asking, "You will change me back, right?"

She looks back over her shoulder without seeing. Her smile tells it all, "That depends on how hard you work out at the gym."

Sully determines right then to work out really hard. She will change me back. I know it.
