TG Race Week 2 Day 4
      ”Arc de Triumph”

Tracey watches the sand pass before them while she is plastered to the back wall outside the panic room. “Fence,” she calls out over the roaring wind blowing through the van because of the roof rockets.

      ”Right.”

There is a sign on the fence in a foreign language. “I don’t know that language.”

”I believe I can read that. It says, ‘Welcome to Libya.’“

They hit a sand dune and launch up over the fence. The rockets sputter and die. Momentum carries them across. They hit a sand dune on the other side. Tracey is thrown free from where force has held her captive. “I didn’t know you knew Lebanese.”

”I don’t. I read the small English words below.”

      ”Oh.”

”By my calculations, if we are not intercepted, we should be to Egypt by tomorrow.”

”And the finish line by tomorrow night,” she finishes.

      They continue on.
