The lone trainer heads through the field. His goal lay just ahead in the next city. Id better hurry, he says as he glances up at the sun lowering.
The tall grass shifts and a rattata jumps out. He fingers his six pokeballs. Latias? No. Pachirisu? Nah. Nidoking? I want to keep him healthy. Lugia? Same thing. Tyranitar? No. Latios? No. He looks at the sun lower in the sky. I must get there before they close.
He heads the other direction and comes back. The rat like creature is gone. He picks up speed running toward the city he sees up ahead. As he approaches, he sees what hes looking for, a building just outside the city.
He slides into place right as a man with lavender hair and black mustache closes the line. Whew! Just made it. He watches the green eyed man wearing glasses return and sit next to his associate. She has burgundy hair that could go all the way to the ground and yet somehow defies gravity and sticks to the side in a point. She also wears a black mustache and glasses.
Next, she calls and the boy steps forward.
Name, she asks trying to suppress a giggle.
Peter.
Pokemon, he asks trying not to chuckle.
Latias, Pachirisu, Nidoking, Lugia, Tyranitar, and Latios. He looks eagerly to them, So, do I get in?
The two unlikely workers look at each other and nod. They turn back to him and the man responds, You seem strong enough. Turn in your pokemon and take your seat over there. He gestures over to a door at the far side of the building.
He heads that direction to their teetering behind him. Peter pulls out the advertisement to look at it one last time. Are you the strongest trainer? Bring your pokemon and find out! Then it gives the dates and the location that hes at.
He puts the paper away and opens the door. He takes one last look at the sun and sees it starting to set. Inside, he finds another door. He grabs the doorknob and the door behind him slams shut locking him in.
A beam strikes him from the side. He tries to move out of the way, but it is everywhere in the room. Ill block it. He reaches out with his hand and puts it in the way. That same hand begins tickling.
Through the streams of light between his fingers he finds them blending together to form three. What? What is happening to me? But then the back of his palm turned paw begins to grow. Something pokes out from the newly growing fur. A spike. That means
His eyes go wide for a moment,
Im becoming a Lucario. Of course! That must have been Team Rocket out there. What do I do?
Then it hits him and he smiles. He lowers his hand and lets the beam hit him full. His arm that was almost done finishes up. He turns and flexes it readying it for battle. Then he starts removing the clothes to speed up the process. Fur quickly covers his body.
Then pain fills his legs as they grow and adjust. But Peter does not acknowledge the pain. His mind is on only one thing and that is outside the door. His feet extend and his toes collide becoming fewer.
Another pain comes from his chest. That must be the third spike. He feels his nose and mouth start to change as his other arm adjusts to match the first. He closes his eyes in pain as he grows a muzzle. The pain of the transformation only focuses him more. They will pay.
The beam continues, but Peter realizes the change is not complete. I need to turn around so the back can be done. He does so, and feels his ears on his head touch something above him. He looks up and sees he has nearly filled the room.
Pain comes from the back of his head as well as where the tail will come out. Yes, those are the last pieces. All at once he feels complete. Now its payback time.
The beam continues to fire not doing anything since he is done. His new ears pick up the sounds of his captors above him, all three of them.
The lavender haired man giggles, Once we capture this Lucario and take his pokemon, well return to base and the Boss will be so proud of us.
Peters eyes narrow, So, this is their plan
The cat like creature continues from above, Meow, Thats right!
The woman agrees, I must admit this is our best plan
BOOM! The door splinters leading into an arena.
yet. Peter heads into the arena and turns to face Team Rocket. Prepare for trouble! She strikes a pose as she says this.
Peter forms an Aura Ball, You got that right! He releases at them.
They barely manage to dodge out of the way. The man whines, You didnt let us finish.
Peter charges another blast, Oh, youre finished, alright. He fires that one, too.
They jump and somehow clear him and land on the other side. The woman says, Time for Plan B, team.
All three get into a stance and say, Right!
The man throws six pokeballs, Pokemon, Go!
Facing Peter are a Latias, Pachirisu, Nidoking, Lugia, Tyranitar, and Latios. His pokemon. He calls to each by name. In turn they acknowledge him as master. Lets get them, he points to Team Rocket. They nod and turn.
Suddenly Team Rocket looks nervous. You made one major mistake when you made me a Lucario. Thats because we can talk unlike other pokemon. The members of Team Rocket fumble trying to release their monsters. Ready, Team? The six pets nod. Peter charges an Aura Ball, Go!
All seven release at once causing a large explosion blowing a hole in the side of the building as well as launching the three into the sky, Looks like Team Rocket is blasting off again! They disappear into the great blue.
Peter gives his pokemon a big hug and takes a quick scan of the arena. There in the stands is a large bag. He heads up there and opens the bag. It is full of pokeballs.
He releases pet after pet. Some head to his pets while others come to the edge of the stands looking up at him. When all the monsters are released he breaks the balls. And then meets the ones waiting for him.
Former trainers? They nod. I do not know how to reverse this. We might as well build a community and help each other. They nod again.
As the sun finishes setting, the trainermon and their pokemon leave through the new exit and start their new lives with a brighter future. Peter smiles knowing that Team Rocket wont be bothering them again.
