“Hayley hit the brakes! Hit the brakes Hayley!” Marni Rosen said to her daughter while slamming her own foot down as she sat in the passenger seat.

<SCREECH> the car’s nose dipped down and both Hayley and Marni jerked forward, but they didn’t hit the stopped car in front of them.

The car in front pulled away but Marni and Hayley stayed put. Both were wide eyed, panting and having their hearts almost burst out of their chests. “Are you okay?” Marni finally said.

Hayley nodded then said “Yeah” out of breath.

“Pull into that church parking lot” Marni said pointing a few feet ahead on their right. “I think I need to go inside and thank the lord you didn’t kill us both”

“Mom!” Hayley said defensively.

“You are never going to pass your driver’s test tomorrow and if you fail again; you can’t take it again for six months” Marni said still composing herself.

“I can do this Mom…you know I can drive well enough despite this little thing. I just didn’t see him” Hayley said. “I have to get my license or I’ll lose my job. You can’t keep driving me everywhere”

“I know honey but…”

“I just get so nervous when I take the test!” Hayley insisted. “If I could just get through the test, I’d be fine on the actual road!”

“I know honey, I know” Marni reassured her daughter.

“I wish you could just take this test for me and pass it!” Hayley said giving Marni an idea.

“Do you want to practice your maneuverability again or just go home? Marni asked sighing.

“I’m done for today; let’s just go home” Hayley said defeated.

That night, Marni went on her computer and went searching for something she had seen a while ago but she thought it could work out for them now. “There you are…” she said smiling.

The next morning, Marni was waiting for her daughter when she came downstairs. She had a cup of coffee in front of her along with her laptop and a smile “Good Morning Honey!” she said cheerfully.

“Wow, you’re sure bright and shiny today” Hayley mumbled. She was wearing short, white shorts and a light blue tank top; her long brown hair was a wild mess while her mother wore a purple nightgown and had already brushed out her wavy brown hair so it lay nicely over her shoulders. Marni’s hair was darker with auburn highlights than her daughter’s light brown mess. They had matching brown eyes but Hayley was several inches taller and much thinner than her 48 year old Mom. “Why so upbeat?”

“Well” Marni began “How would you like to guarantee passing your driving test today?”

“Are you kidding me Mom…who are we bribing or who do we have to kill? I’ll help hide the body” Hayley said laughing.

“Nobody and nobody” Marni answered.

“Then how are you ‘guaranteeing’ that I’m going to pass today?” Hayley asked slouching down and rolling her eyes.

“I’m going to take your test for you” Marni said with a simple shrug of her shoulders “Unless you don’t want me to”

“You’re not making any sense Mom” Hayley said coming over to the table where her Mother was seated. “I don’t think that the Highway Patrol Officer giving the test is going to mistake you for me; I think that’s called fraud but in this case I’d just call it sad”

“But what if I did look like you; exactly like you” Marni teased.

“You’ve just went from ridiculous to absurd” Hayley said shaking her head “What in the world are you even talking about?”

Marni smirked as she looked across at her daughter “I can pull that off” she thought before she started talking and explaining herself.

“I found a spell on the internet…”

“Oh My God Mom!” Hayley laughed. She put her head down on the table and ran her fingers through her hair “Because if it’s on the internet; it has to be true”

“Well, I happen to know this will work because I’ve actually seen it work. You know how Olivia Ramsey was about to fail school…how do you think she suddenly aced all her finals to graduate?”

Hayley looked up puzzled “What are you saying? Olivia…?”

“Olivia swapped bodies with her older sister Juliet through finals. Juliet aced those tests for her. Once her task was complete; they switched back…it was a matter of two days. In our case, it would just be for a few hours”

“So…maybe I’m slow but I’m still not getting this” Hayley said, a curious look on her face.

“Alright. There’s a spell. It allows 2 people to swap bodies so the first person can complete a necessary task for the second person. Once the task is complete; they swap back. We would swap bodies and once I pass your test today, boom, we swap back”

“Oh My God Mom Yes!” Hayley said bouncing up “You’re the best driver I’ve ever known. It’ll be so simple for you to pass! Yes…You can absolutely take over my body to pass my driver’s test for me!” She ran around the table and hugged her Mom’s neck. “Thank You, thank you, thank you!” she kissed her head and squealed for joy while dancing around a bit.

Marni tapped on her laptop, waking it up and going to the webpage while Hayley played with Marni’s hair “I’m going to have your body for a few hours Mom…hope I don’t change your hairstyle while it’s mine”

“You leave my hair alone!” Marni said swatting Hayley’s hand away making them both laugh.

“I won’t know what to do with your chest…God Mom…heavy boobs” Hayley said sizing up what she would be getting. “I still won’t believe it until I see it but…”

“What are you saying dear?” Marni asked.

“Nothing Mom” she said quickly and with a big grin.

With the last word spoken, a rippling effect passed over the room, both women felt a shove down on their shoulders and they slouched accordingly before it too passed and they rose back up.

Hayley shivered, suddenly cold as she stood behind her Mother, who was still seated at the table reading from her computer.

Marni fanned herself, a quick hot flash passing over her before she craned her neck and looked up to her daughter towering over her. She laughed suddenly and brought her hand up to her mouth.

“What? What’s so funny?” Hayley asked.

“Why Hayley” Marni said with a spreading smile “Your laugh lines at the corners of your eyes are adorable!”

“What?” Hayley said putting her fingers to her eyes.

“And those lines at the corners of your mouth…” Marni said as she stood up.

“I have to get to a…Mom?!” Hayley said. She had taken a step to get around and past her Mother but stopped short. Hayley looked her Mom up and down “Mom? Are you growing?!”

Marni looked down the floor and her feet, they did look a bit further away from her eye. “Why, yes, I believe I very well might be getting your long legs and your height dear”

Hayley thought her Mom looked younger too, her face looked shinier and brighter but she brushed past to get to a mirror.

With each step, Hayley got a little bit shorter, her feet shrank a little bit and pounds began to accumulate around her middle.

Marni was right behind her and with each step, she grew a little bit taller, her feet grew a little bit longer and pounds began to come off around her middle.

“AH!” Hayley yelled when she reached the mirror. Marni came into frame just a second later.

“Just remember honey, in a few hours you’ll be back to your own body and driving” Marni said. “It’s only temporary”

“You’re right but…” Hayley said as she turned her face back and forth in the mirror watching her cheeks, chin and jaw all loosen and drop.

Marni looked down and saw Hayley’s shirt rise up as her belly puffed out. She snickered and poked at it playfully.

“Stop!” Hayley said swatting away her Mom’s hand. “Do I need to remind you that this is your body you’re making fun of Mom”

“I’m not making fun of it sweetie…I just think it’s so cute that you’re getting it instead of me; for even just a little while” Marni said.

Marni was a short busty woman who now found herself rising up from an even 5’ tall to her daughter’s height of 5’8”. “I have to admit that I’ve been jealous of your height. You obviously got that from your father…I’ve just always wondered what I’d be like being tall like you”

Marni’s hair began to lighten and go wild. Hairs popped out in every direction in full frizz mode as it grew long and thick and she ran her fingers through her mane.

Marni also watched as while her face rose up higher in the mirror, the skin on it tightened up. Her cheeks rose up and became high and round as they changed into Hayley’s. Her lips smoothed out and plumped up and her teeth grew larger and straighter, benefitting from the years of braces she had endured but Marni had paid for.

“Nice” she said simply as the skin on her neck tensed up and pulled taut along her now more prominent chin and jaw.

Still getting taller, Marni’s jaw dropped when she saw her height and her daughter’s match up. They looked away from the mirror and at each other in matching looks of shock. “Bye-Bye…shorty” Marni laughed as she grew slightly taller than her daughter “First time I’ve been taller than you since you were about 10”

“God, I know!” Hayley said looking up at her Mom.

Hayley’s hair was laying down in flat waves. An auburn tinge was coming out as it darkened and tamed itself down, lifting up and coming to her shoulders. Her lips had thinned and a few of her teeth were now slightly off center. Her Mom had never had braces; couldn’t afford them growing up; her teeth weren’t bad, but they were definitely smaller.

Hayley’s nose thinned and came to more of a point as her eyes narrowed just a bit. Additional lines etched into her forehead to match those around her eyes and mouth.

Marni’s eyes stretched open wider, rounding out and clearing as her nose broadened and the end came in flatter. Additional holes appeared in her ears augmenting her single piercings up to three in each lobe.

Hayley felt her earrings push forward and out and she watched them fall out and fall to the floor as her holes closed up except the basic first piercings. But her attention then went to her neck as her skin loosened and sagged. “Oh Shit” she said touching the skin lightly.

“Don’t be so dramatic…it’s not the end of the world to be 48” Marni said elbowing her still shrinking daughter in her soft side.

“It’s not that…I mean, you’ve been 17 before. I’ve never been 48” Hayley said. She could feel more weight coming in around her waist as she shrank.

“True” Marni said as her shoulders rose up and spread out. Her arms began to lengthen to match her newfound height and her upper arms trimmed down dramatically as they did.

The skin on her hands smoothed as her fingers lengthened and longer nails grew out more befitting a teenager. As was the shiny, glossy blue nail polish that appeared on them.

Marni wiggled her fingers before her eyes. She looked back into the mirror and laughed. Their heights had swapped out fully and the scene caught her as funny. Marni was finding more and more humor in this than Hayley was; it was almost as if their maturity levels were swapping too.

Marni remembered how proud Hayley had been when she had first gotten taller than her and then how she had rubbed it in with each additional inch, so seeing her barely up to Marni’s chin was hilarious to her.

Hayley saw how short she was “Honestly; it’s not that funny” she said in a scolding tone.

“Um…yeah it is” Marni shot back, her voice more sing song and sassy in sound.

Hayley set her shoulders as her arms rose up and her upper arms plumped up. The skin on her hands grew more flawed with spots and marks and rough skin. Her nails came back with no additional length as her polish vanished, leaving plain bare nails behind.

Hayley’s whole body now began to morph and change in shape. The previously tall and skinny girl was turning into a short, busty and slightly chubby woman and most of her body was moving around as it changed. From her knees to her shoulders, her body was softening up.

Cellulite popped out across the backs of her thighs and on her ass cheeks as fat built up. Her sides got extra flesh and her stomach puffed out even further, pushing her small light blue tank up even more. She put a hand against her belly and pushed in, feeling it give way and even poking a finger into her deeper belly button. She saw stretch marks along that belly, still a reminder of a pregnancy from almost 18 years earlier.

Hayley’s back spread out and muscles tensed in preparation. She swore she heard a sloshing sound as her breast began to grow. Her skin stretched tremendously; flesh built up quickly, her 34B’s were turning into 40D’s.

Her shirt couldn’t contain them, her breasts pushed the light fabric out and then down until they hung out openly. Her nipples and areolas twice their original size “Ah!” she gasped trying to heft her shirt back up over them as they still grew larger “Holy Shit!” she exclaimed as Marni laughed and pointed.

Marni’s body was going in the opposite direction as her body thinned and trimmed up. Her sides went flat and her back muscles eased and relaxed. Her stomach was growing flat and her mid-section continued to lessen all around from her waist, up to her stomach, around to her ass and hips and down to her thighs.

She let out a sharp exhale from her nose as her belly went totally flat, no signs of fat, flab or stretch marks remained. Her pendulous breasts now started to pull up. Flesh disappeared as her skin tightened. The cups of her nightgown had been stretched out by so many wearings, that they remained out as her breasts reduced in them. Marni looked down and clearly saw how small they had become “They’re so small; like little baby boobs” she said. Her areolas and nipples shrank down to half their original size and her pert and perky breasts sat up naturally hanging from her long trim torso.

Marni’s hips came in as the cellulite disappeared from her ass and thighs. Her nightgown rode much higher with her longer frame and she could see the tops of her thighs smoothing out and firming up.

Her ass perked up into a tight round mass. Her hands found it and squeezed “I don’t think my ass was ever this high” she said.

Hayley wanted to smack her Mom’s hand away but she contained herself to just shaking her head disapprovingly. Her thick thighs rubbed together as her knees began to ache. Her calves thickened and lowered and even her ankles puffed out.

She looked down and saw that her feet were much closer now and already much smaller. They looked rougher, especially around her heels and thicker too. Her toes were shorter and her nails looked thicker as they grew out slightly and the polish on them changed from blue to a solid red. She lifted her toes up and held them for a solid second before easing them back down “I’m Mom” she thought.

Marni’s legs continued to thin out all the way down to her ankles. Her calves had just a slight bump of curve in them now and her thighs no longer touched. Her feet were a smooth milky white and long toes with blue nail polish sat straight and soft looking at the ends of them.

She rose up on her toes, pressing them out flat and having her heels lift up taking up even taller before she lowered back down. “Wow!” she said with a sudden bounce “God I haven’t felt this much energy in like forever!”

“Settle down…just chill” Hayley said from her lower vantage point, her voice was now lower as well while Marni’s was much higher and had a teenaged lilt to it.

“Mom?!” Marni said only half joking.

“Um, yes, I guess for a few hours you can call me that, um…Hayley” Hayley said.

Marni squealed and tore out of the bathroom very wound up.

Hayley took a few cautious steps getting used to how her body felt and moved, stepping out into the hallway “Wow, this moves all over the place” she said moving her hands up and down “These damn boobs…hips and ass feel like they’re all over the place too”

She could hear Marni running through the house, she tore up the stairs almost knocking her down as she ran to Hayley’s room.

“Look at all these clothes I get to pick from…oooo….so stylish!” Marni said.

“Pick out something conservative and practical” Hayley yelled out. “You need to make a good impression on the Officer and…” she was climbing the steps now “I don’t think you want to wear impractical shoes…what if you slip and miss a pedal”

“God…what a Debbie Downer you are” Marni said “You sound more like a Mom than I ever did”

“Ha-Ha…laugh it up but just remember; you’re there for one single purpose: Pass the driver’s test” Hayley told her.

“Yeah…whatever…it’s going to be, like, such a cinch!” Marni replied slouching and rolling her eyes.

“Oh God…do I actually look and sound like that” Hayley said sizing her Mom up in her body.

Marni just laughed ‘I need to shower and get ready!” she shot past her old body and headed to the upstairs bathroom.

Hayley just sighed. She sniffed her hair “Guess I already showered” she noticed as she went into her Mom’s room and looked into the closet.

“Getting these tight clothes off is not going to be fun” she said as she removed the overly tight shorts and panties and her nearly ruined tank top.

She pulled out one of her Mom’s bras and a pair of what she thought were especially large panties.

Hayley looked in the mirror at her entire body naked “I’m old and flabby…saggy…I can’t wait to get back to my own body. Not to mention how short I am…” She said stepping into the panties. She brought them up and let them snap into place hugging her more ample behind hips and even the lower part of her belly. She patted the front, it stood up puffier than her own and her Mom still had hair there which was different for her too.

She allowed herself a quick tweak of her large nipples. She smirked as she hoisted her breasts up, pressing them together and holding them as high as they could go “I could suffocate a man in these” she said a sudden vision coming to her mind of her Mom’s boyfriend Kevin. “Shit…I shouldn’t have to deal with that though…only a few hours and he’s at work”

Hayley’s parents had been divorced for several years and while Kevin was a decent guy; she wasn’t interested in a 50 year old Contractor. Her boyfriend, Ryan, was much her style…he was 18.

But an odd thing passed through her mind which she quickly dismissed. Her thoughts lingered on Kevin for a few moments but it dismissed Ryan as a boy in mere seconds.

She strapped the bra on amazed at how much fit in her colossal garment, the weight pulling her down constantly. She heard the water running down the hall as she picked out a flowy blue blouse and black pants.

“So many heels…” she said taking in her Mom’s shoe inventory. A few pairs of sandals and a single pair of sneakers were flat but the majority of her collection was there to boost her miniscule height. “Fine” she said taking out a pair of black 2 inch heels her Mom wore often.

Marni was basking in the shower “This body…oh my Gosh I have to focus up…it feels so different; I’m so light, I have so much energy!”

She washed out her long thick hair and would eventually tame it into what she thought was an adorable braid after she got out and got it all dried off.

She looked at her flat mound and perky breasts, her long thin legs and firm round ass “I never looked like this on my best day growing up” she thought as she tried on over a dozen outfits. She took Hayley’s advice though and went with a green and yellow striped top, skinny jeans and a pair of basic black slip on woven shoes.

“I’m not rushing you…your appointment is in 20 minutes” Hayley reminded her.

“You look very nice” Hayley told her.

“Thanks Mom” she replied a bit too quickly.

“Wait? What?” Hayley said stopped in her tracks as Marni continued down the stairs.

“You heard me!” Marni replied.

Marni stood by her car; the Honda Civic was freshly washed and ready to go. Hayley came out, her purse slung over her shoulder. “What are you waiting for?” she asked.

“You…you have to drive us over there. You have the keys” Marni said.

“Oh, I guess I do” Hayley replied. She unlocked the car and got in, started up the car and backed out without hesitation.

Marni chewed on her nails and played with her hair for the five minute drive.

“Why are you acting all nervous?” Hayley asked. “You’ve been driving for over 30 years”

“I know but I haven’t had to take the actual test for those years either” Marni replied.

“You’ll be fine…it’s why you came up this idea in the first place” Hayley reminded her.

Neither of them said anything about it, but Hayley’s driving to the DMV was perfect.

Once there, Marni filled out Hayley’s paperwork and waited for her turn, her legs crossed and her foot bouncing endlessly.

Hayley was nervous in her own way. She sat, her ankles crossed beneath her trying to play it as cool as she possibly could.

“Haley Rosen” a booming voice called out. Marni jumped up and smiled nervously as a very large man came towards her. He fixed his hat and clutched his clipboard “Miss Rosen; my name is Officer Williams. If you need to ask me anything, you will refer to me as Officer Williams is that clear?”

“Yes sir” Marni quickly said. The Officer was at least 6’4” and had a barrel chest on him.

“Let’s go, show me to your car” Officer Williams said.

“Good luck honey” Hayley said nervously.

Marni fumbled with her keys momentarily. She smiled, “Sorry…kind of nervous” she said as she unlocked the doors.

“You should be; my records show that this is your third attempt at passing this test. You do know that if you fail, you are unable to retake the test for another 6 months”

“Yes sir” she replied getting behind the wheel.

Officer Williams adjusted his seat all the way back. “Please turn on your engine, and get prepared to follow my instructions”

Marni turned on the car and buckled her seat belt.

“Back out and proceed to the light; you will turn right at the light”

Marni’s heart was pounding, her head was pounding, her hands were sweaty and her mouth was dry. She backed the car out of her spot and hit the brakes way too hard, jerking the car as she changed gears from reverse to drive. Marni could see the Officer’s pen moving and she swore at herself in her head.

She got to the light, turned on her blinker and proceeded into traffic.

The course took them on main and side roads and Marni thought she was doing just fine. She finally exhaled when they returned to the parking lot for maneuverability.

“Please pull up to between the first two cones” Officer Williams told her. Once stopped, he got out to watch this part from outside. “You will go up to the right and then back through to this exact spot”

Marni nodded, took a deep breath and went forward. She pulled up around the cones to the right, stopped and went to reverse.

She started to back up, had to correct herself then proceeded to go back “I’m doing it!” she thought excitedly until she heard the <Thud> “What the?! No! I did NOT just hit a cone!”

Marni turned off the car, her heart was racing but her stomach was in her throat as she got out and saw it “NO!” She yelled in shock.

The orange cone was solidly under her back passenger tire.

“Miss Rosen” Officer Williams was standing over her “You also failed the road portion of the test as well”

“What?! How?!” Marni was in shock, she was sick and felt dizzy.

“Your initial braking, you went out too far on a three point turn, you went left on center while passing parked cars and you stopped beyond a stop line” the Officer informed her while handing her the sheet from his clipboard.

“But…” she whimpered.

“Turn that form into the ladies at the desk after you’ve signed it. You will receive a card in the mail indicating when you are allowed to attempt this test again. Good Day Miss”

Officer Williams walked away leaving Marni standing by herself in the parking lot. She could barely swallow “Oh My God” she whispered to herself.

Hayley saw the officer enter the building but she didn’t see her Mom. Finally, a few minutes later, she came in, a look of shock, horror, fright and nerves on her face. “Oh no…” she thought dreadfully. “I know that look…”

Hayley stood up and walked toward the desk. She saw her Mom signing her name to a form. She gasped when she got close enough to see the word ‘FAILED’ on top of it.

Marni turned, tears in her eyes and saw the shock on her old face. Hayley was speechless as the consequences of their actions suddenly fell on them hard.

“You can retake the exam in six months” the lady behind the counter said in a monotone.

They walked out in silence.

Hayley got to the car and saw the cone still under the tire. She sighed and shook her head, stomped to the car and started it up. “Get it out from under there” she snapped.

Marni pulled it out and set it up before she got into the passenger side. She slumped in her seat while Hayley drove home, pissed off and snorting out air through her nose the whole time.

Once in the drive, Hayley, got out and slammed the car door behind her and stomped into the house furious.

Marni slinked her way in slowly and sheepishly but once she was in Hayley was on her like a wild cat.

“How could you fail?! How in the Hell could you possibly do worse than I did! What is wrong with you?! AH! I DON’T BELIEVE THIS!” She yelled.
