“Excuse me Dr. Miller…you’re needed on the phone” the nurse who popped her head into the exam room said apologetically.

“One moment please” Holly Miller told her patient as she excused herself and headed for the office phone. “This is Dr. Miller”

“I’m sorry to bother you at work Mrs. Miller” Holly heard her Nanny’s voice on the other end of the phone “But Sophie has been such a total brat today that I quit”

“What…no…you can’t” Holly said.

“You need to come home and deal with her immediately. I never should have taken this job…everybody warned me that she was a total brat but now that I’ve seen it with my own eyes…I just can’t…”

“Calm down please. Can you at least finish out the day?” Holly asked.

“No. You or your husband need to come home and take this little…ugh…just come home”

“Fine” Holly said hanging up. She knew her daughter could be a handful but it couldn’t possibly be as dramatic as Nora was making it into.

“Clear my schedule for the rest of the afternoon…I need to get home” Holly said taking off her lab coat and stethoscope. She stormed out of her office, her nude heels clacking along the tile hallway, her tan dress swishing as she picked up speed getting to her car.

Once on the road, she pulled out her cell and dialed her husband “Jason, you need to get home”

“What? Why…I can’t just drop everything and…” Jason Miller began before being cut off by his wife.

“Oh No…Boo Hoo for you. I just had to rearrange my schedule and clear my patients for the afternoon to head home so you should to. Nora is quitting and is only staying with your daughter until I get there”

“Oh so now she’s my daughter…she’s yours too in case you forgot” Jason snapped back.

“Oh yeah…I nearly forgot about being pregnant” Holly responded sarcastically. “You know what I mean…she’s Daddy’s little girl and you refuse to punish her”

“You’re just as bad about letting her get her way” Jason retorted.

“I’m not going to argue with you over the phone; just get home” Holly said ending the call.

Jason had 3 more clients to meet this afternoon but he thought of the possibilities that would await him if he strolled home 4 hours from now “Cancel my afternoon…reschedule as best you can” he told his assistant as he left the office.

Jason’s office was closer to their house so the two of them arrived within a few seconds of the other. Slamming doors and storming into their large house, the two were greeted by their Nanny

“Glad to see both of you could make it” She said scowling.

The first thing Holly noticed was the glue and glitter in Nora’s hair while the first thing Jason noticed was the glue and glitter on the carpet.

“Your daughter needs to be disciplined and taught a lesson” Nora said. “I would love to be the one to do it but it needs to come from you two”

“Sophia Elizabeth Miller get down here at once” Jason yelled.

6 year old Sophia came skipping out from the kitchen, innocent look on her face “Yes Daddy”

“What do you have to say for yourself…this isn’t how you act” Jason added.

“I know Daddy, I’m sorry” Sophia said beginning to tear up.

“It’s okay honey but you’ve made Nora very upset. You need to apologize to her” Jason said.

“I’m sorry Miss Nora” she said with big doe eyes.

“Okay” Jason said and Sophia ran off.

“That’s it…that’s all you’re going to do to her” Nora said.

“Are you telling me how to raise my child after you’ve quit?” Jason replied.

“That little brat has thrown food in my face, deliberately wet her pants or simply peed on the floor of the bathroom, ran out of the house against my yelling and screaming and chasing her…ran into traffic at that…she’s mean and rude to every other child she comes in contact with…this is…this is unbelievable” Nora stammered.

“You’re the one who said you were quitting and that we had to drop everything to get home” Holly said folding her arms over her chest.

“I see” Nora said wiping her hands together. “I think I see where the real problem is. That child has never been parented a day in her life. I thought she was the spoiled brat but it’s you two who are the real spoiled ones around here. Fine” Nora said as she stomped out. “You all need to be taught a lesson”

The door slammed behind her and Nora smiled “We’ll see how all of you like this” she said to herself.

“The nerve of that woman…it’s obvious she just wasn’t right for us” Jason said.

“Still, this is the third Nanny who couldn’t handle Sophie” Holly said. “We need to be harder on her”

“Sophie come in here please” Holly called.

Sophia came back now that it was just the three of them “Yes Mommy”

“Your behavior is out of control young lady. You are in trouble for what you did today; making Mommy and Daddy leave work is very bad. We don’t have time to come here and deal with you when you want attention”

“I’m sorry Mommy”

“Sorry isn’t enough this time Sophia, no iPad for 3 days…no playing outside for 3 days and you have to help clean all this up” Holly said.

“That’s not fair” Sophia said.

“Well I’m your mother and what I say goes” Holly responded.

“But…but…” Sophia mumbled looking to her Dad.

“No buts…get cleaning” Holly said.

Sophia ran out of the room and Holly and Jason faced each other. Holly just sighed and shook her head while Jason just looked upset. “I know she’s upset but she’ll get over it…it’s for the best that she starts taking responsibility” Holly said.

Holly looked down to the ground. She had on a loose tan and black dress that came down below her knees and her favorite nude heels. Her long brown hair flowed to the middle of her back and over across her shoulders and her big brown eyes shone forth trying to look angry.

She was tall at 5’9” and the heels took her up to almost 6 foot but she was still several inches shorter than her husband.

Jason loosened his tie and undid the top button of his blue dress shirt. His black oxfords held their shine against his tan slacks and he adjusted his glasses and ran his hand over his goatee as he looked at his wife.

“You have to help me” Sophia said coming back into the room “I don’t even know where you keep the dumb old cleaning supplies in the first place”

Holly sighed and rolled her eyes as she dipped her shoulder. “Oop” she said as she felt the sleeve of her dress slip off her shoulder as it dipped down.

Holly grabbed it and pulled her dress back up blushing a bit in the process. She started to walk toward the closet but she tripped and stumbled with the first step as her foot came out of her shoe. “What?” she said quietly slipping her foot back in but her shoe felt wrong, it felt big on her. She slid her foot back and forth and could tell that her foot was loose against the sides and she no longer felt the heel snug up against the back of her foot.

Holly looked down “Something’s wrong” she said. Her skirt was lower and flowing looser than usual. She hiked it up and saw that her feet were swimming inside her heels. When she dropped the skirt, she felt it brush against her ankles and the tops of her feet.

“What’s going on Jason?!” she said, her voice rising in confusion and fear.

“I don’t know Honey, you…” he brought his arm up and felt his shirt sleeve flap loosely, the cuff coming down over the palm of his hand. “Ah!” he yelped out catching sight of his shirt and noticing that his pants were coming loose.

Jason looked down and saw that where his pant cuffs always stopped in exactly the same place just above his shoes, he now saw his pants sitting on top of his shoes with several folds in them.

“What’s happening to us Jason?” Holly yelled, her voice sounding very high pitched now and no longer commanding in any way. The bottom of her dress now touched the floor and both sleeves had slipped off her narrowing shoulders.

Her breasts were also shrinking making her clothes even looser. Her hands flew to her chest and grabbed what was left only to feel them shrink away beneath her squeezing fingers. Her hips shot inward and her ass disappeared as her legs got short and skinny.

Jason was also shrinking shorter; he was even shorter than Holly and getting smaller by the second. His shirt hung on him and his pants barely stayed up as he dwindled away below them.

Holly stared at him as his facial hair disappeared leaving behind a very smooth chin and upper lip. “You look like a kid” she said as his facial features softened and became smaller.

“What are you talking about?!” Jason said in a high voice, one unaffected by puberty. “You should see your face!” he replied.

Holly’s features had also changed dramatically. Her eyes were big and wide over a very small nose, thin lips and chubby cheeks. She clutched to her huge dress as she got younger and smaller still.

The heels kept her slightly taller than her tiny husband as they both returned to childhood.

“AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!” They both screamed in unison pointing at the other and what they saw.

Once they stopped screaming, they stood wide eyed and motionless until they heard a voice from a few feet away “Mommy…Daddy…you’re both little”

Holly spun still gripping her oversized clothes to see her 6 year old daughter standing behind her. “SOPHIE! Did you just see us get…you know…little?”

“Yeah: You two are almost my size now”

Jason and Holly were both still slightly taller than Sophie, but one more spurt dropped them even smaller.

The heels kept Holly at eye level with her daughter but Jason was now shorter and both were younger.

“This can’t be!” Holly said, her childish voice rising in panic.

“No…I’m not little…I’m an adult…I’m an attorney” Jason said but with his lisp returning to him from the first time he was 5, the words didn’t sound right at all.

“I’m a doctor! I can’t look like this” Holly said, her head and shoulders poking out from her huge dress.

“But you do look like this Mommy” Sophia said. “You’re both smaller than me now”

Once they stopped screaming, they stood wide eyed and motionless until they heard a voice from a few feet away “Mommy…Daddy…you’re both little”

“Um…” Sophia said holding her stomach and looking around.

“Are you going to throw up honey?” Holly asked in her high pitched voice still trying to sound like Sophia’s Mom.

“I don’t know …I feel funny” she said.

Jason looked up at his daughter “Sophie getting bigger” he said.

Sophia looked down and saw that her parents looked even smaller to her now “Are you two shrinking again?” she asked in a panic.

Holly slapped at herself frantically in fear and Jason squirmed his way out of his pants and ducked out of his massive shirts.

Before anyone could say anything else, Sophia felt her clothes getting tight on her. Her small pink top pulled up and away from her shorts as the waistband of her shorts tightened on her. “Am I…” She looked down into the big round eyes of her parents getting further away “Am I growing?” she asked, her voice beginning to get just a bit deeper by the last word.

Sophia was starting to grow taller and larger all around. Her feet stretched out, growing longer and wider as her legs grew longer and began to develop curve and definition.

Her shorts grew tight across her thighs and began to rip and tear.

“This is…” Sophia said as she grew taller and, she realized, older, “This is impossible”

“That’s what I said” Holly said stomping her foot and crossing her arms over her chest “That’s not fair!”

Sophia’s shirt began to rip as her body grew larger and larger beneath it. She felt pressure building up in her chest and breasts began to develop and grow. Her arms were growing longer and larger and her shirt sleeves burst open to her shoulders.

“No…” she said worried as her hair grew longer and her face began to mature.

“Sophie looks like she’s a teenager” Jason said pointing up in wonder.

Holly hit Jason in the stomach “Shut up Jason!” she whined.

“Don’t hit me!” Jason said back hitting Holly in the arm.

“Stop it you two” Sophia said, her voice deep and mature already even as her body continued to grow and mature.

Sophia’s shirt ripped up the back as she grew taller and taller. The elastic waistband popped on her shorts as her hips spread out and her ass grew larger.

She reached for her shorts as they fell away and off of her and she tore off her shirt as well as her breasts strained against the front.

Her full and large adult breasts flopped forward and bounced as her body was that of a 30 year old woman now.

Her facial features grew out changing her face from that of a girl to that of a woman.

“Sophie looks like a grown up!” Jason said pointing way up.

Sophia blushed bright red and angled her arms to cover as much of her body as possible as her feet danced up and down uncomfortably adjusting to her new size, age, and body. “Oh My Gosh” she said, her eyes darting around.

“Um…excuse me Mom” she said kneeling down to Holly.

“Hey! What do you think you’re doing?!” Holly yelled as Sophia took her by the shoulder and moved her left and right causing her dress to finally fall all the way off.

Sophia easily lifted her up and out of her shoes and the pile of clothes on the floor. She grabbed up the tan and black dress and quickly put it on over her head. The dress fluttered down covering her naked adult body, ending up just below her knees.

“Now I’m naked!” Holly yelled as Jason pointed and laughed. He was already naked but didn’t seem to care about it.

Sophia jogged a few feet away and grabbed up some of her clothes that were sitting folded in a laundry basket waiting to be put away. She tossed them to the two children; “Blah…I don’t wanna wear girl clothes” Jason protested.

“Put them on and be quiet” Sophia hissed out.

Jason caught the vibe and put on the blue shorts and plain yellow t-shirt he had been thrown.

Holly stepped into her daughter’s pink shorts and pale blue Frozen t-shirt. She swallowed hard since they were a size too big for her. “Now what do we do?” she asked.

“I don’t know yet honey” Sophia said biting on her lip.

“Honey? Who are you calling honey? I’m still your Mother!” Holly said defiantly.

“Yeah, I’m still your Daddy too” Jason said unconvincingly. “Am I?”

“Yeah stupid” Holly said to him. “You’re still…” she cocked her head “Whatever!” she yelled throwing her hands up. “I’m a doctor and I…” she paused thinking as hard as she could. Holly’s mind swirled and nothing seemed straight to her anymore. “I’m a doctor and I…I’m 30 years old and…” she stopped and bit her lower lip.

Holly looked up; Sophia was staring out the window, a blank look on her face until she blinked a few times and slowly turned to Holly. “Holly?” she said.

“Yes” Holly answered quickly.

“I don’t think you’re a doctor anymore are you?” she asked.

“Yes I am…I know lots of stuff and…” she stopped again unsure.

Sophia looked down at her parents “You two weren’t good parents”

“What?” Holly said putting her hands on her hips.

“You let me get away with murder and so now I’m the parent” She looked down at them. “I have to teach you two how to be good parents or else you’ll have to grow up all over again”

Jason started to cry but Holly still didn’t quite believe Sophia “Nuh-uh…you’re not the parent…we are!”

Sophia shook her head “Not anymore…I’m your parent now. You two are now brother and sister and you’re my 5 year old twins” She knelt down to get to the same eye level as them. “I’m a doctor now and I’m running your old practice…it’s mine now until you two learn how to behave and be responsible”

“I am respons…response…I’m a grown up!” Holly yelled but she was unable to pronounce the word she was going for.

Sophia put her hands on her former Mother’s shoulders and looked her in the eye. “Not anymore…look at yourselves: You screwed up and as your punishment, you two are going to be kids again and learn what discipline is really like, is that understood?”

Jason was already nodding but Holly held her chin up, quivering as it did. Finally, she broke and began to cry “I’m sorry Mommy” she said.

“It’s okay” Sophia said hugging Holly “You two need to clean this mess up; all of it…is that understood?”

“Yes” they both said and they ran to the closet to get out brushes.

Sophia followed them and got the spot cleaner from the top shelf, reaching it easily and spraying it on the carpet.

The glue and glitter came up after a few minutes but Holly and Jason’s arms ached from their cleaning.

“Now…upstairs you two go and into your rooms” Sophia said with a clap of her hands. “Those kids…” she said scrunching up her toes and putting her feet in the nude heels.

She went to the kitchen and washed her hands before she took out her cell phone and began to listen to her messages from work.

Her right foot tapped away as she jotted down notes and made her return calls. Finally, she called back into her office and talked to Missy, the nurse who had taken the original phone call from the Nanny.

“Hey Missy, it’s Dr. Miller”

“Hey Doc…sorry you had to take off out of here so fast earlier” Missy said.

Sophia sighed “The Nanny quit…I was hoping that you might be able to watch the kids tonight: I need to head to Mercy General for a conference and I don’t have anyone to watch them now”

“Oh sure…I’ll leave in a few minutes if that’s okay with you” Missy said.

“Sure…finish up whatever…I’ll sign your timecard tomorrow. I really appreciate this”

“No problem” Missy ended the call.

Sophia went upstairs. The twins had rooms across from each other so she opened both doors and stood in the hall between them. “Okay you two. I’ve had enough of your nonsense for one day. Missy from the office will be coming over in a few minutes to babysit you two tonight. I have a conference at the Hospital and with no Nanny to watch you two; I have to get a babysitter”

Jason put his head down. At least he had gotten to his own room and found clothes there that fit him. He tried to think why that was weird but everything seemed so foggy from this morning to him. He just knew that his Mommy was mad at him now.

Holly’s cheeks bloomed bright red “Missy…my nurse?” she thought. “She’s going to be my babysitter?”

“Are we clear you two…no acting up tonight for Missy” Sophia looked back and forth between the two rooms.

“Yes Mommy” Jason replied putting his hands behind his back.

“Yes Mommy” Holly echoed.

“I put in a call to the agency and they said that Nora is willing to come back tomorrow, which, Thank God she is, because I was not going to miss another day of work for you two and your behavior”

“Nora” Jason gulped thinking about the woman.

“Nora” Holly said “She’ll be watching us tomorrow?”

Sophia nodded slowly “And if I get so much as one phone call from her, you two will be sorry”

“You two can come out of your rooms now and go downstairs to wait for Missy to get here. I want you to go to your activity tables and color until she gets here” Sophia told them.

Jason jumped up excited to be done with his time out. He rushed out of his room and rushed down the stairs.

Holly too was glad to be out of her room. She stopped though and turned around watching Sophia go down the hall to her bedroom. “Why is Sophia going to the hospital and not me anymore?” she thought.

Holly laughed then “Cause silly; you’re just a kid now and she’s the grown-up” as she ran to join her brother.

Jason was already hard at work, his tongue sticking out in concentration as the former attorney was no longer able to work within the lines or pick out more than three colors to work with. “That looks messy” Holly said getting on her knees and opening up her coloring book.

“Nuh-uh” Jason said looking over his picture. Bugs Bunny was colored bright red with green ears “Mommy’s gonna love my picture…it’s gonna be the best one ever”

“Nuh-uh…mine’s going to be better than yours” Holly said sticking out her tongue and grabbing a green crayon to start to color Anna from Frozen. Holly concentrated as hard as she could on her picture but she still went outside the lines a few times. Her hands didn’t respond to her brain as well as before. This morning she had put stiches in a boy’s eyebrow and now, she colored outside the lines.

The doorbell rang and Holly jumped up “Get the door someone” Sophia called downstairs.

Holly swung open the door and saw Missy leaning down to her on the other side. “Missy!” she said looking up to the giant before her.

“Holly! My little buddy!” Missy said stepping in “Your Mommy asked if I could watch you tonight…is that okay with you?”

Holly nodded vaguely remembering Missy as one of the nurses who worked for her this morning but now seeing her as an adult who was in charge of her for the night. “My brother and I are coloring…do you want to see?” Holly asked as the memories of Missy the employee slipped away from her. Her kid brain was taking over and she frankly didn’t mind.

“Of course I want to see” Missy said walking across the room behind Holly. Holly only came up to Missy’s waist now but she ran ahead of her and got back on her knees at the activity table.

Missy watched the 2 kids coloring when Sophia came downstairs. “Hey boss what’s up?”

“Thanks for coming over Missy…I owe you” Sophia said. In her heels she was taller than her nurse and they began to talk shop for a few minutes before Sophia had to leave.

“You can take them to the park but they also have to work in their workbooks today still” Sophia said. “Dinner is ready to go; just pop it in the oven for 20 minutes and if they don’t eat…it’s straight to bed for them” Missy nodded and smiled as Holly and Jason’s eyes widened “You two understand…no problems for Missy tonight”

“Yes Mommy” Jason said.

“Yes Mommy” Holly echoed.

“Then I need my hugs” Sophia said getting down on one knee and putting her arms out. Holly ran faster and got there first. She was swallowed up in Sophia’s big arms “I love you Mommy” she said and kissed Sophia on the cheek.

“Love you too Honey” she replied as Holly jumped back and Jason came in.

“Love you Mommy” he said squeezing her as hard as he could.

“Love you back little bear” she told him kissing him.

Sophia stood up and smoothed out her dress. “I might be back before you two are in bed but I might not be…”

“Okay” Jason said “You have to still give me my goodnight kiss”

Sophia smiled “You know I will” as she turned on her heel and strode out to her car.

Jason watched his Mom leave. She smiled and gave him a wave when she saw him watching as she went out the door. His heart melted a bit at that wave; he missed her already. He also knew that he didn’t want to make her mad or upset but he didn’t quite remember why.

Jason concentrated and stared at the floor “I was big” he remembered and his heart took off beating fast in his chest. “I was Sophia’s Daddy but then I got turned into a kid again and she became my Mommy until I learn my lesson” He tried to remember what he did when he was a grown up but he couldn’t remember. As soon as it came, the thought left him and he wanted to color another picture for his Mommy for when she came back.

Holly was finishing up her picture. She looked over and saw Missy on her phone. She cocked her head watching her “I’m actually the Mommy here” she said boldly.

“You are?” Missy responded in an amazed yet condescending voice.

“Yep…you just don’t remember but I’m a doctor and Sophia is really my daughter and I’m your boss” Holly said.

“Okay; that’s quite the imagination you have over there Holly” she said.

Holly went back to coloring before she asked “When can we go to the park?”

“Right now if your brother wants to” Missy said standing up.

“Yeah…I wanna go to the park” Jason said jumping up and down.

“Settle…calm down…we’re going to walk to the park…not run Jason okay” Missy told him.

“Yes, I know” Jason replied as he got on his shoes.

Holly was already by the door waiting when the other two came over. She just had on a pair of tiny, bright pink flip flops for shoes that Missy knew were coming right off so she could run barefoot through the sand.

Missy walked along as the two kids circled her, got distracted, ran ahead, stopped and then sped up again until they got to the park. Sure enough, Holly jumped out of her shoes leaving them on the grass as she took off for the swings.

Jason ran up the slide then went back down it before running through all the equipment as fast as he could.

“Watch me Missy” he kept calling out.

“I’m watching you Jason” she would reply only to have him repeat it when he got to the next thing he wanted to do.

Holly would run past but not at the frantic pace that Jason was maintaining. Missy only had to yell at them a few times: Jason dumped sand in Holly’s hair and climbed up too high on the pirate ship play area.

After a half hour, it was time to go back home. “Find your shoes Holly, it’s time to go back home” Missy called out.

“Uhnnn….No…I want to play longer” Holly whined.

Missy had to call out several times to get Jason’s attention before she finally just grabbed him as he ran past.

They walked home much slower than they had ran to the park with Missy carrying Holly the last block back to the house.

“Thanks Missy” Holly said when she put her down on the front step “I was so tired” she added dramatically.

“I bet you are” Missy replied.

“You two go upstairs and get undressed…it’s going to be bath time while I get your dinner started” Missy called out.

Holly got to her room and stripped down. She knew she wasn’t allowed to run the water though; that was a job for an adult.

Missy came up and started the water, putting in lots of bubbles. Jason sat on the closed toilet waiting his turn while Holly climbed in.

Missy scrubbed her up making sure to get all the sand out of her long hair while shooting looks at Jason who just giggled.

Once Holly was out and dried off, she ran back to her room to get on her PJ’s while Jason hopped in.

“Can I watch some TV?” Holly asked.

“Your Mom said you could watch one of your videos…do you know how to get it started?” Missy called out as she scrubbed up little Jason.

“Yes” Holly responded running downstairs.

“How in the world do little boys get so dirty?” Missy asked as she rinsed Jason off and saw that water was now a light brown.

Jason shrugged “I don’t know” he responded. He jumped out of the tub and ran off.

“Get back here! You didn’t even dry off you little…ugh” Missy said grabbing his towel and stomping down the hall to catch up with him. She dried him off as he just smiled and she helped pick out his PJ’s for the night.

By the time they got downstairs, Holly had her movie started and Jason hopped up on the sofa next to her to watch.

Both picked at the chicken casserole that was served for dinner but ate enough to stay out of trouble.

They finished up their movie as Missy told them “8:00…time for bed”

They both knew better than to protest and they headed up to their rooms. Missy tucked them in and turned on Jason’s night light before she went down and watched TV until Sophia got home.

“So how were they?” Sophia asked when she came in taking off her heels as she did.

“They were fine…we went to the park and played; came home, took baths, ate dinner, watched a movie, and then they went to bed”

“Excellent” Sophia responded.

Missy said her goodbyes and Sophia found herself in a quiet house. She tiptoes up the stairs and peeked in on the kids. She did go over and kissed both of their sleeping heads; Jason’s was already sweaty and he’d made a mess of his covers already by tossing and turning. He was lying sideways across the top when Sophia came in.

Holly was sleeping peacefully with the face of an angel. Sophia walked softly into her own room and closed the door.

“How did it come to this?” she asked her reflection in the mirror “I’m 30! I’m my parents’ parent now!”

She ran her hands through her long curly brown hair and unzipped her dress in the back. She took it off and looked at her mature figure in just a bra and panties.

“You look very nice today Dr. Miller” Nora said. “So much nicer than what you looked like yesterday”

Sophia’s eyes widened at the words.

“yes, I remember and know who you really are and what happened to you yesterday because I was the one who made it happen”

“You?!” Sophia said.

“Of course” Nora explained. “I was upset at how you were acting but I was angrier at your parents and how they never discipline you to teach you what’s right and wrong. You were just a child…you didn’t understand yesterday but you do know I suppose”

Sophia grinned and nodded “I do”

“Well, we’ll see how Holly and Jason behave for a while with you and I in charge of them” Nora said. “For now, you go to work and enjoy your day; I’ll watch the kids”

Sophia’s heels clacked on the floor as she headed out grabbing her purse on the way. Nora headed to the kitchen to begin to make breakfast.

The smell of pancakes woke Jason up. He got out of bed by jumping and hitting the floor loudly. He ran downstairs at full speed coming to a skidding stop upon seeing Nora standing in the kitchen.

“Good Morning Mr. Miller…or should I call you little Jason now” Nora said putting her hands on her knees and bending down to his level.

“You…you know about this?” Jason asked wide eyed and scarred.

“I certainly do…I know how old you’re supposed to be and I see what you look like now and I think I like this version of you better” Nora said.

“How do you know when Missy didn’t see anything wrong with us?”

“Well you see, I think what you were doing to your daughter by raising her the way you were was just downright irresponsible. So…I did a little magic to show you how a child should be raised” Nora replied.

“You did this to me…to Holly too” Jason said “Change us back! You have to change us back!”

“Uh-huh huh…not so fast young man…You’re in absolutely no position to demand anything until I think you’ve both learned your lesson, you will stay at 5 years old” Nora told him.

“But what do we have to do to get changed back?” Jason asked.

“You need to listen, behave and learn. If I think you are ready to be adults again; I’ll change you back. But if you don’t know how to act and I don’t think you’re actually fit to be adults and raise your daughter…you can do it all over again”

Jason gulped at the prospect of having to grow up all over again from five back to an adult.

Nora turned around and went back to cooking as he climbed up onto his chair. His feet dangled high above the ground as he heard tiny footsteps coming down the stairs and up behind him.

“Huh…Hello Nora” Holly said shyly. Her hair was a tangled mess and her Frozen PJ’s were rumpled and off center; her tiny feet barely poking out from beneath the pant legs.

“Good morning Dr. Miller” Nora said smiling as Holly just blushed and shot Jason a terrified look.

“She knows Holly and she was the one who did this to teach us lesson about not raising Sophie right”

“You have to change us back!” Holly said stepping forward.

“She won’t until we learn how to behave and show that we can be good grown-ups now and if we don’t she won’t ever change us back” Jason said.

“So you’d best be on your best behavior from this moment on little miss” Nora told her former boss.

The one time doctor climbed up onto her chair and swept her wild hair back from her face and waited for breakfast to be served.

Both kids sat quietly and patiently as their plates arrived and they both said thank you. They both also asked politely for something to drink and for syrup.

Sophia got to her office and put on her lab coat and stethoscope before looking over her schedule for the day. Missy came up to her and gave her the charts for her first three patients that were already roomed and waiting for her. Sophia breezed through her day seeing patients and performing her duties as if she had trained for years.

Holly and Jason were both on their best behavior throughout the day. They were still energetic kids though and played hard but always remembered to ask for items, say please and thank you and they didn’t fight with each other.

They were both hoping that by the end of the day, Nora would be so impressed with how they had acted, that she would change them back. So it came as a complete shock to them when Sophia came in and Nora simply told them “I’ll see you two again tomorrow”

“But, but we were good today” Jason said.

“And if you’re good tomorrow and the day after that and the day after that and…well you get the picture…maybe then we’ll talk about you two returning to being adults” Nora said, her hands on her knees bending down to talk to them.

Holly and Jason wanted to argue and throw a fit but they knew that something like that would only add weeks if not months to their time as kids. Holly crossed her arms though disappointed as Jason began to tear up.

“No crying or pouting over something that you wanted but didn’t get” Nora told them leaving out the front door.

Sophia was smiling when they turned and saw her “Let’s just hope for another good day tomorrow okay” she said. “Now who wants macaroni and cheese for dinner?”

That made Holly and Jason a little bit happier.

Two weeks passed with nothing changed except that Jason and Holly didn’t think twice about being well behaved anymore; it simply came naturally to them now.

As that day passed by and Sophia was due home at any minute, Nora called the two together into the living room. “Now wait here…when your Mommy gets home, we’re going to talk”

Sophia came in wearing a yellow blouse and black skirt on along with her black heels. When she saw Nora standing by the sofa; she knew the look in her eyes.

“Sophie” Nora said to her.

“You mean Dr. Miller” Sophia replied.

“No, I mean Sophie…it’s time” Nora replied.

“No. I don’t want to go back to being 6…I won’t go” Sophia said stomping her foot.

“See…you need to go back. It’s not fair for someone to entirely skip their childhood and get all the rewards without any hard work” Nora said walking closer to Sophie “I never intended this to be permanent…think of it as an adventure…but it’s time to go back”

Sophia took in Nora’s words “I guess you’re right”

“See…you see the logic and know right from wrong. So when you go back to being your original age, you’ll be better behaved and with your parents now understanding how important being a good parent is, I think everyone has learned their lesson” Nora said. “Holly and Jason; would you please come in here?”

Holly and Jason ran into the room as fast as their little legs could carry them.

“It’s time to go back: Are you ready to be adults again?” Nora asked them.

“Yes!” Holly said jumping up and down.

“Yeah!” Jason replied.

“Go ahead and put this one so you don’t ruin your clothes Holly” Nora said handing over one of Holly’s nightgowns to her.

Holly took off her small clothes and draped the huge nightgown over her shoulders. The bottom of it came down to the floor and covered her feet; she giggled.

“Just hang on to it” Nora said as Jason got out of his clothes. Nora helped him put on a pair of his old basketball shorts which now stopped at his ankles.

“That’ll do for the time being” Nora said leaving him gripping the waistband with both hands to cover himself up.

Holly’s body began to tingle and she began to rise up taller. It was just a little at first, but soon, the nightgown lifted off the floor and everyone could see her growing feet beneath it. Then her calves began to show and those too were growing longer and wider as her curves started to return.

“I’m growing!” she shouted in her high pitched voice. “I’m really growing up again!”

Her face was maturing as she grew taller looking like a young teen as her voice cracked and began to deepen “I’m so sorry and so happy to get a second chance Nora”

Holly’s legs lengthened in a growth spurt that took the bottom of her nightgown up to the middle of her thighs just as her thighs thickened and became round, full and mature again. As they did, they pushed out her hips and her ass again to their original form.

She looked down though and saw that her body had returned to her. She bent forward and her hair fell around her face as she put her hand to her stomach and pressed down. She pointed her right foot out and looked at it and her leg moving upward “Oh Thank God…I’m back to myself!”

Now Jason began to grow “My Turn!” he shouted. Jason did begin to grow taller. It started off slowly with several spurts that shot him up along the way.

His legs and feet grew out as did his arms and hands. His chest and back spread out and broadened along the way. Hair began to reappear and grow out on his forearms, chest and legs.

Spots of stubble popped through his cheeks and chin. Acne burst out for a brief moment but cleared just as rapidly as his features began to mature. Jason took a step to the table where a pair of his old glasses still sat and he put them on his face as it changed.

His hair thinned but his goatee thickened as his face returned to him along with his body and his age. Back up to over 6 feet tall, he looked down at both his wife and daughter again “Oh thank god” he said in a spent voice “I didn’t think I was ever going to get back”

Holly elbowed him as they looked at their still 30 year old daughter.

Sophia nodded and gave a sly smile “It was fun while it lasted” she added with a shrug. The shrug though revealed the fact that her top was getting bigger and looser on her rapidly shrinking shoulders. The yellow blouse slipped down exposing her bra straps which also now popped up off her shoulders, loose, but still holding something.

Holly’s black skirt gaped at the waist and began to work down her legs as they began to thin and shrink down shorter. Her feet began to slip and slide around in her heels as they too got smaller.

Sophie looked up to both of her parents again who were both watching the maturity drain from her features. Her face rounded and everything got smaller and on her. Her body went back through puberty and her shirt front went flat except for the empty bra cups which still formed an outline. Her skirt fell to the floor as her hips and ass disappeared and her skinny thighs were covered by her lengthening top.

Sophie awkwardly stepped out of the heels and away from the pooled skirt. Her hands were now covered by her blouse and she flapped her arms up and down in childlike wonder “I’m little again! I’m 6 again!”

Holly bent down to her and hugged her tightly “Yes you are”

“It was fun being a doctor” Sophie told her Mom.

“Well, hopefully you can grow up to be one yourself someday” Holly told her.

“I promise I’ll be a good girl from now on Mommy and Daddy” Sophie told them.

“We know you will, we have no doubt about that” Jason said. He turned to thank Nora “Nora, we…”

Nora held up her hand “I’ll see you three tomorrow morning”
