There's a chance I might be a bit indispoised tomorrow so might not be able to upload anything but will try my best. And I'll try to get back to some more normal, grounded, real world transformations again.

The moment he pulled the last stitch tight, connecting the blood vessels of the graft to those of the host, the blacksmith’s newly acquired manhood twitched and throbbed excitedly. Her husband squealed and slapped her amorous hands away from the sensitive stitching that held his womb in place, though the seam was already healing as if it had never been there at all.

“He’ll have to get used to a woman’s cycles, of course,” said Vivian. “And you'll need to wait for the moon to turn before he’s fertile for the first time.”

“No harm in practising,” growled the blacksmith, throwing the man over her shoulder and carrying him away.

The next patients in line were not quite so challenging as a double genital transplant. There was very little medical or clerical assistance out here in the mountains, and most were old injuries that had never been treated properly and had become chronic problems. He carved away the damaged flesh and stitched new in its place, emptying out the remaining specimen jars. The villagers could offer only a few copper pieces for his services, far less than they were worth, but after so many weeks of the merchandise threatening to turn necrotic at any moment, it was a relief simply to find owners for it. He sifted through the excised chunks of body parts, though he found nothing there worthy of resale.

Still, it felt good to be fleshcrafting again, to be doing it simply for the love of the art form rather than the pursuit of wealth. And the knife appreciated it too. It was, after all, a living thing, and would grow brittle and blunt if it did not taste blood for too long. Soon it was sliding silkily through flesh like warm butter.

A shepherd stepped forward.

“A beast’s been threatening the flocks these past nights,” he said. “We don’t know what it is, but it’s got the ewes in a fright. It’s clever enough to avoid the traps we leave for it.” He looked down at the sheep by his feet. “But a wolf in sheep’s clothing might be enough to trick it,” he smiled.

It was asking a lot, but Vivian was in the swing of things now, and the man was providing his own material, so it would cost him nothing but time. He soon had man and sheep spread out on the operating table, disassembled.

“With all respect to your little village, I don’t intend to stay here long,” Vivian said, plumbing the animal’s lower abdomen into the man’s abbreviated torso. “If you want this reversed, you’ll need to be back here tomorrow, understood?”
