On retrospect, it probably doesn't make sense that the hospital would discharge their patient when it's so obvious their hormaker implant has been hijacks by their grandson, so he'd probably wait until they get home before tampering with it 😊

The Hormaker medical implant does for hormones what the pacemaker does for the beating of the heart. The device is installed in the abdomen, with wired electrodes extending into the adrenal glands, pancreas, prostate, and genitals. Much like a pacemaker, these probes stimulate the organs with low-level electrical currents, though in the case of the hormaker, these control the release of hormones, effectively hijacking the endocrine system.
While originally developed for patients with brittle diabetes, where it regulates insulin secretion with exceptional precision, the device has since demonstrated efficacy across a wide spectrum of endocrine disorders, including hypo- and hypergonadism, Addison’s disease, hypothyroidism, male pattern baldness, and hirsutism in women.
The device is being considered for fertility management, both conception and contraception. Through the use of the NHS Hormaker companion app, which synchronises with the device via Bluetooth, the patient can control their own ovulation cycle, timing their fertility to when conception is most convenient, or even magnify their libido at the touch of a button.
Concerns were raised following the discovery of multiple security vulnerabilities in early versions of the app, which theoretically allowed unauthorised access to hormonal controls. An emergency software patch was deployed, introducing mandatory password protection and two-factor authentication. Patients are strongly advised not to share login details under any circumstances.
