Due to a few deviantarts getting taken down, I might start trying to make SFW/NSFW variants so that, if one gets removed, at least there's a backup somewhere.

SOULSEND
5th-level Divination

Casting Time: 10 minutes
Range: Self
Components: V S M (A crystal ball, silver mirror, or font of water worth 1,000 gp)
Duration: Up to 10 minutes

The caster must meditate for 10 minutes to coax the soul from their body, after which it may travel to a particular creature or place on the same plane of existence. The caster’s soul can see, hear, taste and smell with perfect acuity.

The world is a dangerous place for an untethered soul, and the caster must make a Charisma saving throw (DC 15 + their own Wis bonus) to convince their soul to do such a foolish thing (see table for modifiers).

The sent soul still senses their body, though are unable to move it. The caster should make additional efforts to protect and ward their mortal vessel while its soul is elsewhere as it is vulnerable to injury or to being occupied by ghosts, demons, or other wandering souls.

SENSOR CENSOR
Wondrous Item, Uncommon

A Sensor Censor can be any object that has been appropriately enchanted, from clothing, jewelry, pebbles, or even plants. They are used to protect against scrying eyes.

When a scrying soul is present within 5m of a Sensor Censor, it must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC set by item’s quality) or become trapped within the object. It may still sense the world around it, speak, and move as per Animate Object, though these functions can be turned off and on at will by the Sensor Censor’s owner.

The individual may be released with a command word known to the owner. Each hour that it remains trapped, the soul may reroll its Wisdom save to escape.

If their mortal body perishes while they are outside of it, the soul is trapped indefinitely.

Due to privacy concerns, these items have become ubiquitous enough to make scrying a risky prospect. To avoid being caught by one, arcane eavesdroppers have taken to pre-loading themselves into a Sensor Censor before having it delivered to their target.

If used by a temple, it may be a Sensor Censor Censer.
