Location: Suburban family home, [REDACTED]
Responding Officers: Officer R. Morales
Date: [REDACTED]
Police were alerted by neighbours after they became concerned of a break-in, after noticing that the front of the home was ajar in the morning, with no sign of the family. An officer from the local police attended. As she stepped into the residence, she was seen to collapse and then be dragged inside by what appeared to be a small, black housecat. The case was escalated to TFPD Animal Control as a suspected Organelle attack.
TFPD Officer Morales responded, quarantining and entering the residence. In the bedroom, Morales located a male Organelle creature along with the sleeping bodies of what appeared to be five women. Acoustic disruption tools neutralized the creature’s sedative resonance, allowing for its capture. The victims swiftly regained consciousness, physically stable but clearly alarmed, with one young woman showing particular distress.
Medical Findings:
The patchwork appearance of the women revealed that they had been operated on at length by the Organelle, with genetic testing demonstrating their bodies to be a patchwork of mismatched organs, extensively switched. There is no way of physically proving their identities, though one of them stated she was the mother of the family. At around 10 pm on the evening prior, she recalls opening the front door to let in what she believed was the family pet, a female black cat. This is the last thing she recalls. It is likely the creature gained access at this point, and had the entire night to operate on them. It appears to have exchanged body parts with the usual randomness of the Organelles, with one exception.
The distressed young woman was found to be none other than the father of the household. It appears the creature paid particular attention to him, completely reconstructing his body using pieces harvested from his wife, his two daughters, the attending policewoman, and the family pet. All but his brain had been equally distributed among the other victims. Trauma counselors are in attendance.
Containment and Analysis:
The captured Organelle was transported to TFPD Containment Facility 03 under quarantine protocols. What is strange is that, on examination, it was unmodified - that is, it had harvested no organ for itself. It raises the question - what, if any, was the goal of this attack? The creatures have only an animal intellect, but this one clearly worked with intention on the father, harvesting what look to be the choicest organs from four women to create a single, flawless body. Did it target this family out of simple mischief? We're not sure.
We are also unsure what to do with the family. Since knowledge of the cryptid is not yet public, if the father cannot be made compliant, I recommend amputating his feline tail and ears; administering amnestics; and implanting a false identity - perhaps that of his 'third' daughter.
