Apologies for the somewhat lacklustre image for this one. I'm a month behind on uploading this when I should have, and also my PC continues to crash constantly, so just wanted to upload something before it breaks completely.

The radiance of the soul gem was blinding. Then, suddenly, it was gone and Lytar was falling. Two things broke his fall onto the hard stone of the cavern. His plump rear. And his tail.

High above, a familiar face grinned toothily. His face. His body examined itself, cupping its gilded, sanctified codpiece in delight. "Now do you see why our crystal is not to be touched? I did try to warn you," the creature in him cackled.

Splayed out on the cavern, his crimson tail swished fretfully between his naked thighs. His armored chestpiece was gone, now a pair of armored, scaled breasts. He clutched his head and his clawed fingers closed around the bony horns growing from his skull. Lytar screamed, and whisps of flame flickering through his sharp teeth. He was a kobold. A monster.

"You... you..." he stammered. "YOU NO TAKE BODY!"

The body-thief burst into laughter. "Is that really how I sound? Good grief," she said in his refined tones. "How fascinating. You appear to be struggling to speak the Queen's tongue with that forked one!"

Lytar slid back on the stone floor, trying to compose himself. As the creature laughed, righteous fury burned within him. He may be tiny and weak but he was still a paladin, a righteous instrument of god, and he would smite her for her insolence. He recalled the hundred and eleven verses of the Orison of Radiant Supplication. Their eloquent recitation had never failed to summon the cleansing flame of the Lord. He inhaled deeply and intoned the sacred words.

"Damn you!" he squeaked.

Nothing happened. The body-thief remained unsmitted. She raised his eyes skyward and smiled. "It appears your god has abandoned you. Why don't I try?" To his horror, she drew his sword from its sheath. It ignited with holy fire as she leveled it at his trembling form. "Where is your god now, creature? Shall I send you to him?" she laughed.
