Your responsibilities will include wearing a specially designed panda suit that, once activated, will allow you to blend seamlessly with these gentle creatures. By doing so, you will gain their trust and monitor them without causing stress or disturbance.<br /><br />Key Responsibilities<br /><br />&#8226; Wear a state-of-the-art skinsuit that mimics the appearance, scent, and movement patterns of a panda.<br />&#8226; Enter the panda enclosure during mating season, ensuring minimal human-disturbance to the animals.<br />&#8226; Observe and closely monitor the pandas' behaviors and sleeping patterns, noting any changes or abnormalities.<br />&#8226; Assist in the collection and analysis of biological samples relating to the pandas' reproductive health.<br />&#8226; Collaborate with the zoo's veterinary team to administer vital medication.<br /><br />Requirements<br /><br />&#8226; Experience as a zoo keeper or in a similar role is highly desirable.<br />&#8226; Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.<br />&#8226; Adaptable to the unique challenges of wearing a specialized suit.<br />&#8226; Strong knowledge of panda behavior and a genuine passion for wildlife.<br />&#8226; Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, to accommodate the pandas' needs.<br />&#8226; An open attitude to new and unfamiliar experiences.<br />&#8226; Excellent manual dexterity for handling phials of panda breeding pheromone with paws.<br />&#8226; Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both with animals and fellow team members.<br />&#8226; Willingness to perform for crowds when our pandas are indisposed.<br /><br />Application Process<br /><br />To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience, interest in the role, and why you believe you would be a valuable addition to our team.
