Study: Magnetic Resonance Imagery Analysis of Multiple Morphology Syndrome Transitionary Phase
Date: 03/01/22
Subject #13
Age: 21
Sex: Make
Blood Type: O+
MMS Variant: Object
We were performing research into MMS sufferers. Our goal was to try to capture of scan of a patient mid-way through their transition. We hoped that, if we could determine the enigmatic mechanisms by which this condition can fundamentally alter the human body into an inanimate object in moments, then we could determine ways of arresting the change. It would be a breakthrough in treatment.
My job was to greet the volunteers, run them through their questionnaires, and prepare them for their MRI in a calm and reassuring manner.
Subject #13 was a pleasant young man. Judging by the answers to his questions, his reason for joining the study was his embarrassment at his tendency to turn into panties (among other things which he was elusive about) whenever alarmed, and his hope for a cure. After answering his questions and ensuring he had no metal objects on his person (the magnets in the MRI can fling a coin like a bullet), he was led through into the scanning room and made to lie within the machine. The non-ferrous electrode was clipped to his big toe jutting out of the machine.
As standard procedure, he'd be given a mild electric shock, painful enough to trigger his condition, at precisely the moment the MRIs magnets fired. All hopefully timed right to let us capture a detailed internal snapshot of his body mid-change. Everything was going fine until we hit the switch. There were sparks and alarms. I checked the errors. Two of the magnets were fried. Error messages reported a metal object within the scanning aperture. That was impossible! I'd checked him myself!
Looking into the scanner room, Subject #13 was gone. And there was something in his place.
I had the unenviable task of handing over his remains to his next of kin. His sister came to collect him. Solemnly I passed him into her hands.
"We never expected him to turn into anything with metal inside. I'm so sorry."
Her face was unreadable as she turned his tiny, pink, plastic body over in her hands. A perfectly normal looking dildo. One would never have guessed it used to be -in many ways still was- a man. "Oh my god..." she gasped. "I've got one just like this back home."
"His internal components were damaged when the magnets fires. We replaced them as best as we could with the real equivalent but... too much of him is lost. He'll never be human again."
"You mean he was destroyed?"
"Well... technically, no, his components work perfectly but-"
She flicked the switch at his base. The little sextoy started to vibrate in her palm. Her face lit up.
"Well at least it isn't all bad news, doc!" she said with a wink, slipping him into her handbag and leaving.
We are currently reviewing the data collected. We were lucky, catching a perfect, albeit macabre image of him midway between the man he was and the dildo he became. But as I examine the images, my mind keeps going back to her parting words, and the fate that awaits Subject #13 I hope the results of the study will make his sacrifice worth it.
